Davina waited for the stunned hybrid to say something else and was not disappointed to hear him drawl, "Genevieve told us that you weren't coming tonight."

"Oh, did she now?" She raised a brow and grinned. "Well, I am here now and still ready to party unless you have something against me enjoying the night?"

"As a matter of fact I am against the idea of you doing whatever the hell you did to us earlier again, Davina. Stopping everyone with just a snap of your fingers?" He asked her. His bright blue eyes narrowed into slits.

He continued on without waiting for her to respond.

"You are clearly inebriated Davina. And you're what, sixteen? Aren't you a bit young to be drinking?"

"I'm older than that," Davina replied, scowling fiercely. "And I am not drunk, although I admit I was imbibing on the drinks that were being passed around."

"You obviously did more than imbibe, Davina. Now, you look ready to stumble on your feet. You need to go home. I will ask Genevieve to take you back before you do something utterly reckless again."

"I am not going anywhere," Davina snarled as she stepped closer to the Hybrid. "The party hasn't even truly started yet. So you better get used to the idea of me being here."

"And get yourself drunk all the more? I don't think so, Davina," the hybrid growled as he stepped towards her threateningly.

They were so closed that Davina could see the specks of blue and brown in his eyes and feel Klaus' breath against her cheek.

The tension between them was palpable that most people watched them with various degrees of wariness and interest. The others were waiting for violence to erupt and there would be bloodshed if Klaus didn't back down.

"I'm staying Klaus," Davina stated with a note of finality.

She watched as a muscle feathered across Klaus' chiseled jaw line. A sign of his rising temper.

"No, you are not Davina," The hybrid responded while he caught her wrist and was about to drag her away if it weren't for Davina's action next.

Davina's ire flared up and she used her powers to dull Klaus' senses right before she attacked him. She twisted out of Klaus' hand and with a flick of her wrist she bound him with scarlet hexes and suspended him mid-air.

With a snapping sound, Klaus' hands were suddenly tied behind his back while he rose a couple of meters from the ground.

"My, my, getting kinky are we, love?"

She heard Klaus growl in a voice oozing with menace. She watched as his golden eyes glowed with a promise of violence while veins popped up around his eyes.

He was showing his hybrid face to her, which was a clear sign that Klaus Mikaelson was thoroughly pissed.

"Shut up, Klaus," She sneered at him.

"Davina! What are you doing?" A familiar voice demanded and Davina turned to see Genevieve emerging from the silent crowd.

She was about to reply if it weren't for the flash of movement that warned her of another supernatural creature about to attack her.

It was a good thing that Davina had already dulled everyone's senses there after she cast a hex on Klaus. It made everyone's movement slow so she could actually see what was about to happen next.

So she was able to defend herself in time when another vampire pounced on her. Davina stopped the other Original - Elijah's hand before he could touch her or used lethal force on her.

She observed how the Original's blood red eyes seemed to widen in shock when he suddenly found himself with scarlet restraints.

He must have expected to have the upper hand because of his vampire speed, but he was terribly wrong. Davina was different from the one he knew before. She was more powerful than ever.

"Ah, the elder brother. Elijah Mikaelson," Davina said coolly as the Original strained against her hex. His red eyes flashed while the length of his fangs glinted dangerously close.

"Davina, stop this at once! You are threatening the peace that the others and I are building out of this community with your provocative actions," the eldest Mikaelson brother said to her.

From the corners of her eyes she noted a pregnant woman waddling hurriedly forward as if ready to defend the eldest Original.

Meanwhile, she could hear Genevieve saying as the elder witch ran towards Klaus Mikaelson, "Davina! Stop making a scene and let go of Klaus!"

"Listen to your elder sweetheart and let me go, or else you will find yourself under the wrathful hands of an Original Hybrid," Klaus said in a silky but deadly tone.

Davina glared at him before she turned her attention to the eldest Mikaelson.

"I will stop being such a witch if I am allowed to stay here. I don't want to leave just yet," Davina stated stubbornly as she met the Original's blood red eyes.

"We will allow you to stay, Davina, if you conduct yourself according to the treaty. I hope you understand that we don't want any bloodshed here tonight." Elijah said as he finally stopped struggling against her hold.

"So we are in agreement then," Davina said.

"Yes," Elijah replied through gritted teeth.

"Then, kindly speak to your idiot, hybrid brother about what we have agreed upon. I don't want him ruining my night while I am here," She glowered in Klaus' direction.

"I will speak to him after you let us go first," Elijah responded in a cool and reasonable tone.

"I want you both to promise me that no harm shall befall on me once I let you go," She looked pointedly at both the brothers.

"You have my word," Elijah easily responded.

"How about you dearest Klaus? Do I have your word or do you want me to leave you suspended there for the rest of your life?" Davina asked sweetly. Her scarlet eyes glowing menacingly.

"I don't know love. It depends on your choices. Will you behave according to the treaty that my brother set out? Or would you rather I rip out your heart when you don't behave after you let me go?"

"I will not harm anyone here. That at least I can promise you. However, if you order me to act befitting my age, then you better think again because I am planning to continue drinking and enjoying the night. However, you don't have to worry dearest Klaus about that. I will conduct myself properly and not get too drunk. So why don't you just stop concerning yourself with me tonight and everything will be fine between us."

Klaus regarded her for a long while before he said, "Fine. You got yourself a deal, little witch. Now, let my brother and I go."

Davina scrutinized him for a moment and reached out to see his surface thoughts just to make sure he wasn't lying. The moment she sifted through his mind, she was surprised to see the spark of interest there. He seemed more than intrigued with her now. In fact, it looked like there was a hint of something close to attraction there when he regarded her, which she ignored for the moment. He was also not lying about allowing her to stay.

She also reached out for Elijah's mind just in case and found out that he was suspicious of her by now because she was acting strange. She was behaving differently from the previous, innocent Davina who sacrificed herself for the good of New Orleans. However, it couldn't be helped. Davina felt different. She was far more brave than her old self.

She retreated from both men's thoughts and finally said to them, "Good. Then, I will let you both go."

With a flick of her wrist, she dissolved the hexes around the Originals' bodies.

Afterward, she watched as Klaus landed on the ground in a crouch while Elijah simply dusted himself off in that regal way of his.

"Now, if anyone wants to speak to me, I will be up there," She stated.

And before anyone could say anything else to her, she used her power to propel herself upwards while beneath the watchful eyes of everyone there. She flew and she could sense the people's shock and curious stares on her back as she landed on the second floor of the Abbatoir.

Davina knew she was showing off far more than necessary, but it was for her benefit. She did not want to be underestimated ever again by the people there. She hoped that Monique and the others from her Coven saw her powers because Genevieve certainly did and the woman was wary of her now, like most of the people there when she reached out for their surface thoughts.

The people had the reason to be scared of her, which was not truly her intention. Being slightly drunk had made her reckless. She couldn't blame Klaus' recent action but she was not going to easily bow down to the hybrid's wishes even though he and the others had the good reason to be cautious of her.

Now, she observed as the people below her resumed what they were doing, but not without casting glances at her occasionally. She could still feel the wariness from the people and she understood the reason behind their behavior. She did make a lasting impression on them when she suddenly rendered them frozen with the snap of her fingers. Some even felt discontent with her for their loss of control.

She hoped that she would find a way to remedy the people's mistrust. Perhaps during the following days when she joined the Faction meetings. She was certain she might have something to contribute to the Supernatural Community. However, she had to convince Genevieve first about her joining the meetings. Although for certain the Elder witch would be suspicious of her by now. It couldn't be helped. She had to reveal her strange powers to the Supernatural community one way or another.

As she mulled things over, she continued to watch below and sip on her tequila drink. From the corners of her eyes, she could sense the eldest Original eyeing her from down below, but he hadn't made another move on her again, which was fine because she made it clear that she didn't want to talk to the Originals after their confrontation.

Unfortunately, it couldn't be said to the hybrid, who had made his way towards her again.

"What is it this time Klaus?" She asked without turning in his direction.

"Peace, little witch. I'm not here to start another quarrel with you. So set aside your animosity and let us speak like civilized adults," Klaus said as he came to a halt next to her.

She glanced at him while she sip her drink.

"Then, speak what you came here to say,"

The hybrid scrutinized her for a moment before he said to her, "You seem different…more daring…"

"I am different Klaus. I'm not the same naïve witch you all knew." She stated as she finally faced him head on. "Now, is that the only reason you wanted to talk to me or is there something more?"

There was a short pause as they regarded each other.

"Genevieve wanted to confront you after the incident, you know…" Klaus began as he drank from his champagne flute "I, however, advised her against reprimanding you in public for your actions earlier... Just a fair warning. She and your entire coven were not happy with you for causing such a scene."

"I am already aware of that Klaus. The question is why are you telling me all this?" Davina asked pointedly.

"I just thought that you ought to know. I also thought of offering an alliance between you and I. I could use a powerful witch like you on my side." Klaus said, smiling at her.

"I thought you already had Genevieve in your back pocket? So why do you need me as well?" She asked him.

"The arrangement between her and I is out of mutual pleasure.."

Davina wrinkled her nose at his statement.

"Our arrangement, on the other hand, is going to be different. It will be out of mutual respect and ambitions. I am sure you will need someone on your side after your provocative actions earlier. You need an ally Davina, and I can be that ally alongside my brother Elijah." Klaus reasoned. "So what do you say? Do you accept?"

She prodded his thoughts and noted that was really his intent after all. To be her ally to protect the peace of the city where his child will be born.

As she secretly sifted through his mind, she learned that he was mostly scheming in the shadows for the safety of his child and Davina could understand that.

So she responded after a while, "Let me think about it."

"I will wait for your response then, but hopefully it won't be too long love," Klaus said with an assured grin.

She couldn't help but stare at his grinning face. She stared at his blonde hair and blue eyes. She admitted that he was a handsome man. It also didn't hurt to hear his British accent.

He reminded her of someone. Something about his coloring and his accent haunted Davina. The thought made Davina drink her tequila in one gulp. The ache in her chest was back again. It seemed to intensify when she was around the hybrid even to the point of making her blurt out loud.

"You know…you reminded me of someone I know…but the thing is I don't remember who." Davina admitted to him.

"Someone you find pleasant I hoped," the hybrid remarked.

"Oh, he was more than that…" Davina said thoughtfully as she dimly recalled touching a glowing stone on someone's forehead with her power.

"Do you by any chance know anyone who has a yellow stone on their forehead?" She asked the hybrid and regretted it instantly, when she noted Klaus' curious gaze.

"No, I do not," was the hybrid's response.

"Just forget I ask," she ordered him and was not surprised by her power to immediately take a hold of him.

Klaus' eyes glowed red as her command asserted itself in his mind without his notice.

"I think it's time for me to leave. It was nice speaking to you Klaus. I will see you around," Davina said hastily after the scarlet glow in his eyes died down.

Afterward, she didn't wait for Klaus to respond right before she launched herself in the air once again.

People watched her go with their mouths agape and she noted Genevieve and some witches from her coven following her as she made her exit.

She sighed when she realized that she was about to have a confrontation with the elder witch and the rest of her coven.
