Chapter 3 I am Zero

Shin was shirtless looking at a mirror with CC behind him.
"Tell me CC what is the reason to live forever?"He said.
"There is no reason, as it only causes more despair."She said.
"Yes, but if the others of your group had that same gift you could never be alone could you."He said.
"No."She said.
"Exactly, the emperor is arrogant thinking he can kill a god, the one he's after are not even the true gods."Shin said.
"Who are the true gods then?"She asked.
"Simple, they're beings that watch over us and see how we can evolve, they are very angry at the emperor as his plan is not about evolution but slavery by merging everyone into a single mind, but I'm afraid that plan could never work."Shin said.
"Why's that?"She got confused.
"Simple, you could never stop the flow of the universe going no matter what, so the question is what is the true purpose of this sword he's making, who is the true master behind it since I think someone is just manipulating him from the shadows without him even knowing."Shin said.
"Could it be VV?"She said.
"That brat, please it's not someone of your world, I'm more worried if it might be a enemy of mine."He said.
"Who?"She asked.
"Don Thousand, he was the reason why my parents are gone, but it couldn't be possibly him as my father defeated him, so the only one I can think of is E'Rah his subordinate who was his second in command but I doubt she's has any chance."Shin said."But she's still a threat."
He then got a message and he looks at his mark."So Lelouch has a plan to save his little friend."
"Also I think Leon likes Nunnally."CC said.
"Yes, if she will become one of us I will have to see, but she does have the potential, also how's Marianne doing without contacting you?"He smirks.
"She's been very worried, no matter how much she tries she can't find me but I can find her."CC said.
"Of course, your connection to them has been cut my dear."He goes up to CC and he holds her hand as they dance around."They could never take you away as I promised to be with you."
She smiles before putting her head in his chest."Thank you."
Later inside a train
The entire passengers were in a trance except for a few, Lelouch was wearing a disguise of Zero while the brothers were next to him wearing white masks, Leon was wearing a different uniform.(Quattro from Zexal.)
Shin was wearing a version of Nasch Barian form clothes but gold and white with the symbol of Utopia on his chest instead of the barian one.
"You could always have a better form instead that."Leon said.
"I prefer to keep that until I need it.
Then Kallen came in with Ohgi and the other resistance members.
"Are you the ones that called us."Kallen said.
"Yes, did you like the tour?"Lelouch asked.
"Why did you show us this?"Ohgi said.
"To show the difference to what Britannia has taken away."Shin said.
"Yes, your efforts are in good terms but will never do much."Leonidas said.
"What?"Tamaki got mad.
"Yes, Britannia will never fall for a petty terrorist attack like this, for this we must do something grander."Lelouch said.
He then tells them the plan.
Later at the city Suzaku was being set in a cart paraded around with Knightmares around him, Jeremiah and Villetta were helping securing it, many people were booing Suzaku calling him names.
But then Jeremiah stopped it since he saw Clovis car heading towards them."The princes car."
Kallen was dressed as a driver and she was nervous."I hope this works."
She then stops in front of them and Jeremiah said:"Stop right there, you have some nerve."
But then the back of the car opens to reveal Lelouch and the others.
"I am Zero!"he said.
"Alright Zero the shows over, have you and your friends take off the masks."Jeremiah said but then a box behind then opened to reveal the gas container.
"What in the?!" Jeremiah quietly said.
"Jeremiah watch out he's got the poison gas!" Villetta shouted.
"Wait you don't under-GAH!" Suzaku tried to say before the collar on his neck electrocuted him.
"You bastards! They've taken every Britannian here hostage! And he's done it without them even knowing it!" Jeremiah Growled before he aimed his pistol.
"Fine. What are your demands?"Jeremiah said.
"For now the demands with be an exchange. This for Private Suzaku Kururugi."Zero said.
"Like hell! He's charged with high treason for murdering a prince! I can't hand him over!"Jeremiah said.
"Oh your wrong, the one that truly killed him was me."Shin points at himself."Utopia."
Everyone was in shock to hear that, the real killer was in front of them.
Jeremiah points his Knightmare at Shin but then he does a slashing motion with his hand making a blade cut the Knightmare in half and Jeremiah get sent out to the ground.
"Lord Jeremiah."Villetta said.
Jeremiah grunts and looks at Shin."Give him the prisoner."
"What?"She got shocked.
"We don't have a choice, they already have everyone in danger and one of them destroyed my Knightmare with one move."he said.
Leon goes foward to Suzaku and cuts him free, then other Knightmares pointed at him making Zero pull the button releasing the gas and the people got scared while Shin grabbed Kallen as they made they're escape, a helicopter went down and they grabbed the ladder that was hanging off it so they could get away.
Later at a safe location
The group arrived there and Suzaku was looking down.
"It looks like they treated you rather roughly. Now you know what they're really like Private Kururugi."Zero said to Suzaku."Britannia is rotten. If you wish to bring change to this world, then join me!"
"So was it true? We're you the one that killed Prince Clovis?"Suzaku looks at Shin.
"Yes, this is war, why wouldn't I kill a enemy that ordered a massacre."Shin said making Suzaku flinch.
"And the poison gas? Those were civilians out there!"Suzaku said.
"It was colored gas, no one got hurt in the final results."Shin said.
"The result? I suppose that all but matters to you all."Suzaku said.
"Come join me. The Britannia you serve is a worthless dominion."Zero said.
"Maybe that's true. But! But this nation it can be changed for the better! And from within!"Suzaku said.
"Change?"Zero said while Shin scoffs.
"And any gains through tempt able means aren't worth anything!"Suzaku starts to walk away.
"Where are you going?"Zero said.
"My court martial begins in an hour."Suzaku said.
"Are you mad?"Leon said.
"Rules are rules and if I don't go then they'll begin cracking down on Elevens and honorary Britannians."Suzaku said.
"But you'll die."Zero said.
"So be it."Suzaku said before he heard laughing.
He looks at Shin who was laughing at him."Change the system, what a childish dream, that is nothing more than a dream, but sometimes dreams are just that dreams, little children shouldn't have a say in war."
Suzaku got angry and tries to hit him but he got punched in the gut instead and was picked up by his shirt."Let me tell you something if you were to face me you will always lose, just like the last time."Suzaku got confused."Also."He whispers to his ear."I know what you did."Suzaku got shocked."So go and be lucky that you don't die."He throws him down to the ground an Suzaku walks away.
"Did you know this would happen?"Zero asked them.
"In a way, I just expected him to at least see what's right and wrong, but he's too childish."Shin said."Anyway let us go."He walks away with his group.
Next morning
Lelouch was in his classroom and then the teacher said:"Class we're having a new student."
Lelouch looks and got shocked to see Shin.
"Hello everyone my name is Shin."He does a bow with a smirk and they got surprised more so Lelouch.
Note:They saved Suzaku but of course he's still as pig headed as ever, if you think he's going to be a member of the numbers not a chance, he will never become a member, Shin can never see him be one because he's not making a mistake that would lead the fall of his empire.
