Chapter 3

Kushina was proud of her son after traveling across Fire Country for the past two weeks. After having gotten their checkups and helping Tsunade and Jiraiya start the cleanup in Konoha by imprisoning much of Konoha Council, which mostly were the Civilian Council, and releasing the news of Kushina return and Naruto's heritage, Kushina traveled with Naruto and her distant cousin Karin to escape the prejudice that still remained in Konoha. They passed through Wave Country where Kushina began training both Karin and Naruto in their chakra control and infinities.

Naruto was still in his Indoraptor form, that was slowly adjusting to using chakra to enhance his claws, teeth, and scaly armor. He progressed tremendously as he could once again use the Tree Walking and Water Walking exercises that allowed him to walk on any surface without falling or slipping without his claws or bones to anchor him. His favorite past times were stealth hunting/training(A/N: Like Zabuza's Silent Killing Technique, only dinosaur style), experimenting with his Kaguya bloodline and galloping across the surface of water to increase his muscles and stamina, with Kushina and Karin sometimes riding him.

Karin was their personal medic kunoichi as she sent messages to Lady Tsunade on their health and progress via the Slug Summons that she was gifted with at taking her new responsibilities in keeping an eye on the Red Death and Naruto now nicknamed the Dragon of Misfortune. She now could form the Uzumaki Chakra Chains and use her Water and Earth Affinities to create strategic field advantage with Team Uzumaki.

Kushina was so happy that the Uzumaki were making a great comeback to the Elemental Nations with how quickly she and her family were growing in skills and strength. However, she was disappointed at how bad of a reception Konoha was when Naruto's heritage were revealed. Some of the Konoha teams from Naruto's Academy years were speechless and afraid at Naruto's monstrous look. After having been ordered to Lady Tsunade's office and sworn to secrecy at showing that Naruto had returned, transformed. Hinata Hyuuga was hurt the most since she wanted to express her love to the boy he once was, but only ran in tears at how bestial he looked and acted. Even Kakashi was in full denial as Kushina went to his cell and informed him of Rin's spirit in the Shinigami's realm and Obito being alive and his past actions. She could only shake her head in shame as Minato's student was so twisted by guilt and shame that he could not accept the reality of things that she left him in jail. After having removed Obito's Sharingan from his skull and crushed it to further break his psyche.

She shook her head from those thoughts as she and Karin walked towards the borders of Kiri to speak with the new Mizukage that won the revolution and put an end to Mists' Bloodline Purge. Mei Terumi. However, Karin informed her of how tense Kiri's position was from the Hokage reports she once sorted through. Having been put in lockdown as the hidden village and nation were working to recover their lost strength after a long civil war. She knew that their ninja would be distrustful of outsiders and not make it easy to gain an audience with the Mizukage.

Thankfully, Kushina was prepared since she brought compensation from Nami. She also met the Boss Summon of the Dinosaur Summons, so that they would have the backup to force the enemy back if it would come to that.

Flashback

The former princess of Uzushio found herself in a realm of dense jungles with a single volcano smoking in the distance. The velociraptor Delta having brought Kushina, Jiraiya and the elderly toads of Mt. Myoboku, and her Indoraptor son to their realm to speak with the 'White Devil' as they followed the bipedal Beta through the green trees and vines. It was then they came to a clearing where it looked to be once inhabited by people but now was in ruins and nature closing in on the place.(A/N: Think Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom look before volcano eruption)

Kushina was reminded of her homeland Uzushio that was also in ruins thanks to the Second Shinobi War. Naruto could sense his mom's mood as he nuzzles her with his snout. Kushina pats the Indoraptor's face as she smiles in thankfulness at her son showing his human side.

Suddenly, the moment is interrupted when they hear the roar of a something bigger than Naruto. It was then a giant figure appeared after releasing her camouflage. Towering over the dinosaurs that stood near the humans, Delta introduced them to the queen and boss summon of Jurassic World. The Indominus Rex.

Indo was less tense and calmer since she and her kind were reborn thanks to the power of Kami and the Shinigami in this recreation of their island that was human-free. To be able to speak and understand humans while deciding for themselves on who could enter their realm and summon them to fight strong opponents than humans and their machines. With the raptor pack informing the queen of Kushina and her son, the Indominus Rex granted them entry.

"Welcome, red haired human and hybrid child to Jurassic World. However, I was not informed that you would also bring this disgusting smelling man and his amphibious appetizers." Indo growled in revulsion.

"Forgive our unannounced arrival Boss summon of this realm. We are the members of the Toad Summons of Mt. Myoboku that were instructed in helping the summons of this realm understand the power of chakra that the humans and summons of our realms that are now connected with yours. Also the Toad Summon Elder made it sound like that you are somewhat related to us in some way." Ma explained to Indo.

"It's true. The humans that created us used the genetic makeup of you amphibians so that they could spectate on the grand magnificence that we once dominated the world before our ancestors millennia extinction that only left bones and amber incased remnants of how great dinosaurs roamed the earth. But why should we get the help of tiny lily pad hopping frogs such as yourselves? We believe that nature can take care of itself and that 'Life finds a way', with or without outside help." Indo looked ready to charge to devour Jiraiya and the toad elders whole.

Fortunately, she was stopped when stone erupted upwards in front of Indo as it also increased in strength as the makeshift wall was covered with roots and vines. Everyone looked to the side as a long-necked dinosaur appeared that seemed bigger than the Indominus appeared walking on elephant like feet that boomed with each step.(A/N: The Brachiosaurus that heart-wrenchingly fell with Isla Nublar in Fallen Kingdom)

"There's no need in intimidating our guests, Indominus-sama. Although we have made progress in guesswork it would be better to have more experienced creatures such as these teach and show us how to use our new abilities more effectively and correctly. Especially when we can't seem to understand why some of us turn to stone when we try to absorb the power that permeates within this realm." That statement had Jiraiya, and the toads tense up at hearing the new summons discover nature chakra/sage mode.

"That is actually called Sage Arts. The ability to absorb chakra from the nature and life energy around us to make us stronger and more durable in a fight. I have not fully mastered the arts myself without Ma and Pa here helping, but the Toads are the best when it comes to understanding chakra and nature. Because the consequence of absorbing more chakra into oneself can lead to permanent petrification. Although we may seem small to you, our powers and numbers can turn the battlefield. Also one of the Boss Summons of the toads is not so little compared to Ma and Pa. I think Gamabunta could outrank you in size and strength." Jiraiya boasted.

Kushina had to punch her late husband's sensei at his ego. Causing Delta and Naruto to give a raptor chuckle at Jiraiya's pain. Indo may have been irked at being considered smaller and weaker to the human's summon partner, but her new summoner proved to be a wonderful choice so far. The Brachiosaurus lowered her head as she went to smell Kushina and Naruto with her nostrils.

"You certainly are a unique herd. Do you still care for your youngling? Even with his new features?" the Brachiosaurus asked curiously.

"Of course, Dattebane! I was given a second chance in life to help care and raise my child that I never got to when I died a few moments after he was born human. His transformation may have been a sudden surprise for me, but I know the heart and soul of my boy. He just wants to be loved and be able share that love with others to move on from the painful memories and experiences he has been through. And I promised that I would always love my child and help him figure out how to turn himself human again while also learning how to accept his human and dragon-like self. Kushina declared.

"Hm, well you certainly our more open minded then some humans. But let us see how good you really are. Fight me, and I shall see if you are truly worthy of having me as your summon! If not, I'd rather have the raptor-boy be my summoner." The Indominus Rex looked at Naruto's Indoraptor form with admiration.

That got mother Uzumaki riled up as she brandished her katana with her hair flailing like kitsune tails. "Bring it on, Chicken Legs! I get the say on which female is right to be with my baby!"

And with that Delta, Naruto, and the others stepped back as they watched two feminine titans duke it out.

Flashback End

The fight ended in a stalemate, with Naruto and the Brachiosaurus intervening along with other dinosaur spectators that heard and got to witness the fight. Kushina and Indo became rivals/allies while each eager to prove who is the better of the two. Kushina was then officially declared the first official summoner recognized, with Naruto also signing the contract with his blood with the Toad summons' permission since he was still under the toad contract.

However, Jiraiya and the Toad's had the duty and responsibility of showing the Kyoryu the ropes while the three raptor siblings and the white queen could be summoned by Kushina if things get messy.

Which brought Kushina back to the present as she saw Karin signaling her at sensing nearby contact. Kushina tried signaling her camouflaged son, but he had gotten so good at stealth that it was sometimes difficult in sensing his presence or chakra. Kushina stopped in her trailing as she had Karin stay close to her.

It was then a group of five Kiri shinobi appeared from the trees and mists as they surrounded Kushina and Karin. Having their weapons out and ready to retaliate.

"Who are you? And what are you doing in Kiri?" one of the shinobi asked with his kunai pointed at them.

"I am Kushina Uzumaki. This is my cousin, Karin Uzumaki. We are here to seek sanctuary and an audience with the Mizukage until things in Fire Country cool down after my sudden reappearance." She informed them.

"Kushina Uzumaki? Isn't she the infamous Red Death that brought death and terror to Cloud back in the Third Shinobi War?" another mist ninja questioned his colleagues who were debating on what should be done.

After quietly counseling to themselves the first speaker turns to speak to Kushina. "We will bring out to Lady Terumi's office. But no funny business."

The two Uzumaki complied as they followed the group while trying to use their sensory abilities to feel if Naruto was nearby. They could not feel his presence which means he was either laying low or had wandered off somewhere that made Karin and Kushina groan in their heads. Even though he has the body of a young adult, he still was an adventurous boy that got him into unpredictable situations.

Scene Change

"So you wish for sanctuary for you and the last remnants of the Uzumaki Clan? Why come to us, when Konoha was considered your main ally? Even though I was never a part of Uzushio's destruction, Kiri took as much credit as Iwa and Kumo at what happened during the Second Shinobi War." The auburn haired Mizukage questioned the known living heiress of the Uzumaki.

"Unfortunately, Konoha is no longer I can call my home due to the current population not telling the difference between a Biju and their jinchuriki holder. My Senju cousin had me leave so she could clean house while my remaining clan and I get back into shape to fight back the Akatsuki organization that are rumored to wanting to hunt down jinchuriki for the Tailed Beast inside them. For what purpose, is anyone's guess. Which is why I decided to come here to distance myself from Fire Country and are far away from the stubborn Iwa and Kumo. No offense but Kiri to me is considered the lesser of the other evil. Fortunately, I brought a peace offering so we can let bygones be bygones and be future friends and allies." Kushina explained. Pulling out a sealing scroll that she opened to reveal one of the legendary weapons of the Seven Swordsman of the Mists, the Kubikiribocho.

Mei was happy to see the sword returned to Kiri. But the mention of the Akatsuki caught Mei's attention first. Being reminded of Kisame's defection after the previous Mizukage's defeat and death. It was quite a coincidence that the Samehada swordsman was the first to start killing the bloodline users in the Hidden Mists and stay by the insane jinchuriki of the Sanbi. Only to vanish during the storming of Yagura's fortress, and later pop up as missing nin allied with Konoha's traitor Itachi Uchiha.

"These Akatsuki, do you have any information on their members other than Kisame and the rogue Uchiha?" the Mizukage finally asked. After accepting the Uzumaki to Kiri and retaking the Executioner's Blade.

"Only one of them. He may not seem intimidating as those two, but I believe he is the secret leader of the Akatsuki. A masked man with a single eyehole calling himself Tobi or Madara but is a disciple of Madara Uchiha. He was responsible for the Kyuubi attack that had my on Naruto become the new jinchuriki that the village did not view as its hero." Said Kushina. Keeping Obito's full identity to herself until she saw him face to face.

The Terumi Kage widened her eyes in surprise at this new development. For her spies mentioned a masked man with a single eyehole sometimes staying close by to Yagura as he slipped deeper into madness. Could this rogue Uchiha and the mysterious man mentioned in the former Mizukage's journal are one in the same?

"Could a wielder of a Sharingan use a genjutsu to control not only a Biju, but a jinchuriki as well?" she asks Kushina.

The Uzumaki princess nods her head, not doubting at how powerful the Mangekyo Sharingan can be after several years of training. Thankfully, Sasuke never had the chance to learn properly to control his new eyes that it did not affect her son who was quickly becoming strong enough to match a Biju. Speaking of which, where is he?

Scene Change

The Indoraptor was relentless in his playful hunt of a snakelike fish that Naruto got distracted with. After visiting Wave, Naruto kept his camouflage up and stayed near his mom and cousin's range, until he felt thirsty and decided to take a drink. Coming to a river, Naruto drank his fill until he noticed the snakelike fish swimming near him.

Wanting to eat the large fish, the Indoraptor pounced into the water. However, the prey was elusive as it started taunting Naruto with its swimming as it then swam away. Heading up the river that led to the western border of Fire Country. Naruto could not let it go as he pursued his meal while remembering to recognize his family's scent so he could catch up to them once he eats that taunting serpentine swimmer.

The fish swam fast against the current with Naruto just a few feet away as he galloped after it. Not realizing he was pursuing for more than a couple of hours. His stamina being exhausted halfway as he crossed the border and was Water Walking to the capitol of Ame. The Hidden Rain Village, and refuge of the infamous Akatsuki.

After finally having caught the tricky prey, the Indoraptor flailed it a little to make sure it died within his jaws before chowing down. Leaving nothing of it left, but to sate his hunger. It was then Naruto realized that he did not recognize where he was. Naruto worried at what his Kaa-san's reaction would be that she would hunt him down with the sister raptors of Blue.

He was about to turn around and gallop east towards Water Country when he was distracted by strange sounds coming from the wall surrounding the lake he was standing on. Looking up he saw three heads bob down as they disappeared. Being cautious and curious, the Indoraptor turned invisible as he leapt up and over the wall as he went into stalker mode.

He caught their scent even though the environment was damp, but thankfully it did not rain today. The Indoraptor carefully crawled close to the ground as he neared a quiet home where the roof was partially crumbled. Sniffing the air with his toe claws tapping, he finally spotted the three viewers that spied on him over the wall before they fled to their hideout.

The three Genin looking ninja were huddling in the corner of the home with one of them standing protectively with his scythe and chains out. The two hiding behind their leader were a boy with brown spiked hair wearing shinobi armor and a rebreather while the girl had short black hair in a ponytail with two battle fans in her hands. Seeing the trio reminded Naruto of Konohamaru and his team which were still Naruto's allies and are currently working with Tsunade and the Shinobi Council in putting a stop to the civil unrest in Konoha due to Kushina's return and the reveal of Naruto being the son of the Fourth Hokage, while not being leaked that Naruto was now a beast, which the Konoha 12 and Tsunade's most trusted swore to secrecy. With some of them not liking his new changes.

"Stay back!" shouted the orange haired leader of them. Making him sound brave when Naruto forgone his camouflage as it seemed pointless to hide, but still wanted to play with these children.

The Indoraptor gave a short roar which had the trio tremble in fear as they kept their eyes glued to Naruto's reptilian as he went back to stalking with his claws tapping the stone floor which irked the kids even more. The female member of their team then decided to put away her fans as she brought her hands together to pray.

"Lord Pain of Ame! Please help us. Send your Tenshi to protect us." She implored.

"Quiet, Kita!" the scythe and chain wielding boy shouted as he used his chain portion to attack Naruto.

The hybrid Uzumaki merely hopped to the side to avoid the hit, only for the chain to wrap around a pole before breaking it. Causing the ceiling to fall upon the Indoraptor. When the dust settled, head boy, named Kohaku, examined the debris to see if the monster was finished.

"See, I told you I could handle it!" Kohaku boasted to Kita and Hanzo after seeing that nothing moved which made him think it was dead.

"But better to be safe than sorry. Remember, Pain is technically our savior and protector of Rain Country since it only rains in Ame on Sundays or when the god is not here. Nothing happens in Ame without his knowing with his godlike eyesight. We could have needed the angel's help if things went sour." The mask wearing ninja pointed to his teammate.

"Pain is not god! Nor is he benevolent after he destroyed our parents who were partially affiliated with the previous ruler!" Kohaku retorted. With the trio being orphans after Pain took over and had anything to do with Hanzo the Salamander killed.

Before they could argue further, they heard something move in the pile of rubble. Right before Naruto burst free and pounced onto the unexpected trio. Kohaku was being kept under the left foot and Hanzo in Naruto's right claws while Naruto had his snout briskly sniffed up close to Kita's fallen form. The poor girl was whimpering in fear as the boys struggled fruitlessly to help their curled-up friend.

Naruto decided that the fun was over and that he did not want to see them so afraid of him. To the surprise of the kids, the Indoraptor started to nuzzle Kita's face which had the girl to finally stop crying and look up at him. She was bewildered that the beast was not going to eat her and was showing affection to her like a cat or dog. Feeling brave enough, Kita stretched out her hand to touch the Indoraptor's face as her petting caused Naruto to give a rumbling purr that showed that he was not threatening anymore.

Kita started to laugh as she cuddled the dragon like creature as Naruto let go of the other two go as they regrouped behind Kita.

"Careful Kita. It may be trying to trick us." Said Kohaku as he did not trust it.

"Its alright. I think he was only playing with us since we were spying on him earlier. We are sorry, Ryu-san. We were up on the wall to scout out where we could escape to avoid being caught when we saw you appear running atop the lake that surrounds Ame to catch that fish snake." Kita explained to Naruto.

"Unfortunately, we haven't mastered the Water Walking exercise so we could run across the water like you can. Which is it alright to ask, what are you? Are you a dragon that has lost its ability to fly. Are you hear to answer our prayers that the angel hasn't?" Kita asks.

It was at that moment when pieces of paper hovered above Naruto and the little ninja as they started to group together. Kohaku was on high alert as he got his weapons out again with Hanzo also looking ready to fight. Naruto and Kita were in awe as they watched the paper fuse together to form the shape of a beautiful woman with orange eyes, blue hair, a piercing under her unblemished lips, and wearing a black cloak with red clouds as she hovered above with her makeshift paper wings.

"I have heard your prayers little one. Although it seems that this strange creature is not of the heavens from how close to the ground it is. Please leave while I take this beast to Lord Pain." The angel then proceeds to cover Naruto with sheets of paper.

Naruto growled as he struggles to free himself from the paper that proceeded to mummify him. Only for little Kita to try and appease the beautiful angel, Konan.

"Wait, Lady Angel! There has been a misunderstanding. This dragon was only playing with us and had already had its fill of food. Please do not take away Ryu-san. He might bring us luck." Kita implored her.

Konan's face was still plastered unfeeling as she descended to walk up to Kita and take closer look at Naruto who was muzzled by the chakra infused paper. She uses her sensory type abilities to sense the power of the beast and was surprised to find that this creature could rival with that of the Biju. Yet it seemed the nature of it was not Biju or animal, but that of a mixture of human, Biju, and animal. Could this be another one of the traitor Orochimaru's experiments?

"Perhaps it may bring luck and order to Ame in our quest for peace. From what I can tell you seem to be able to understand what we are saying. Even though it appears you cannot speak. So a nod or a shake of the head will suffice. Answer me. Were you once human?" Konan interrogates Naruto.

Naruto was thankful that a member of the Akatsuki did not recognize his chakra signature, with her sensory skills being just under that of cousin Karin and Kaa-chan Kushina. The human side wanted to try and escape; however, the dinosaur half liked the smell that Konan was giving, and it felt that she was not so much a bad guy.

To the trio's surprise and the angel quirking an eyebrow, the Indoraptor bobbed his head in confirmation to Konan's question.

Sorry for the delay. I finally got back to writing this new chapter after having watched Cam Cretaceous Season 3. I hope that you all enjoy this as I work to overcome my writers block with my other fanfics.
