Hello all Storm here with a new story! Here we'll be seeing Naruto allying with everyone's favorite King and his subjects, Godzilla and the Kaijū! Along with him learning plenty of secrets that were kept from him. So, without further ado.
I own nothing
"Kakashi-sensei, I'm getting worried about Naruto. Should we try doing something?" Sakura asked while looking at Kakashi in concern, with the Jōnin looking up from his book, at his student.
"I know what you mean Sakura, but there isn't really a lot we can do. This was your first mission outside the village, which wasn't as easy as it was supposed to be. On top of everything that happened at the bridge, sometimes you just need time to yourself to cope." Replied Kakashi, knowing Naruto's still reeling from what happened at the bridge battle.
Given it was only happened two days ago, Kakashi found it understandable that Naruto was hit hard by both Zabuza and Haku's deaths, along with believing that Satsuki had been killed by Haku. The Jōnin found it understandable that Naruto wouldn't be acting like himself, since this is his students' first time seeing what it really means to be a Ninja. Along with how easily they could die on missions or experience seeing those they care about dying.
Though that didn't stop him, Sakura and Satsuki, along with Inari, Tsunami and Tazuna from worrying about the Uzumaki. With Naruto having been unusually silent and in a slump since the battle on the bridge, after they buried Zabuza and Haku. While any attempts to talk to him were either met with silence or short replies.
"Maybe. But-" Said Sakura, wanting to do something before Satsuki cut her off, as Tsunami rolled her wheelchair into the room.
"Sakura, just leave it alone. Naruto will talk to us about it when he's ready. For now, it's better to just give him some space." Satsuki said, knowing what Naruto is going through, given what had happened to her clan, so she knew it'd help to give him space to process what happened.
"Satsuki's right. He'll talk about it when he's ready or if he chooses to." Stated Kakashi, also knowing the feeling of losing comrades and people he cares about, given everyone he's lost.
With Tsunami silently nodding in agreement, given how she lost both Inari's birth father and Kaiza.
This made the pinkette sigh, but nod in understanding; figuring they were right and all they could do was wait and give Naruto some space.
*With Naruto*
Meanwhile, Naruto had left Tazuna's house in order to get some air, with the whiskered blonde being fully aware that his teammates and Tazuna's family are worried about him. But at the moment, Naruto didn't want to be bothered by anyone, leading to him to go out for a walk. With the Uzumaki wondering the entire time, if that's all Ninja were; tools to be used and thrown away when they weren't useful anymore, like how Zabuza kept telling himself that's all Haku was.
'Is that all we are? Is it all I am? Just a tool, a weapon?' Thought Naruto, wondering if that's all he was meant to be, due to the Kyūbi, a weapon to be used by Konoha against their enemies.
Did he ever even have a choice to become anything else, besides a Ninja; or would his choice not even matter and he'd become a Ninja whether he wanted to, or not. It made Naruto sigh and push those thoughts away, not wanting to depress himself any more than he already was.
"Excuse me, you are one of the Ninja who fought against Gatō and his men, correct?"
The sudden voice made Naruto stop and look to where it came from, seeing an elderly man with short white hair and walking with a cane.
"Uh yeah, I'm one of the Ninja. Are you one of the citizens that was at the bridge?" Replied Naruto, only for the old man to shake his head.
"No, I'm afraid that my age left me unable to do anything to help. But I was there, when Inari showed up and helped encourage everyone to fight against Gatō and his men. He spoke of you the most, helping to restore our faith and hope that we could take back our home. I wished to thank you for all you and your teammates have done, Ninja-san." The old man said with a bow, much to Naruto's embarrassment, not used to anyone thanking or bowing to him.
"I-it's n-no problem, really. I j-just did what I was able to, and you also don't have to bow. And my name is Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki." Introduced Naruto, only to see the old look at him in surprise.
"Uzumaki? Are you truly a member of the Uzumaki Clan?" Questioned the old man, with the whiskered blonde going still at his question while his eyes widen.
"Uzumaki…Clan? There's an…Uzumaki Clan?" Naruto asked, wanting to know if he really heard the old man right, with the old man nodding in response.
"Yes, there was once the Uzumaki Clan, but I'm afraid they're gone now, having been all but wiped during the Second Great Ninja War. I'm one of the citizens in the Land of Waves, old enough to still remember them and their homeland in the Land of Whirlpools; an island surrounded by whirlpools, where they build their village, Uzushiogakure. With the island not being that far from the Land of Waves. They also had very close ties to Konohagakure, from what I remember." Explained the old man, much to Naruto's surprise that he not only had a clan, but one that had built an entire village, one that's located not that far from where he is right now.
But this also worsened Naruto's mood, to learn that he came from a Ninja Clan; one with not only their own village, but also that they apparently had close ties to Konoha.
'But the old man never told me any of this. He's the Hokage, he'd have to know about the Uzumaki Clan and if they had ties to Konoha. So why didn't he tell me?' Naruto thought, feeling even worse to know the Sandaime had been keeping this from him the entire time.
"Uh, thanks for telling me all that. But I need to get going, see ya!" Naruto said, waving to the old man, before making his way back to Tazuna's house.
Once he got back, Naruto saw his teammates, teacher, as well as Tazuna and his family, with everyone looking at him when he arrived.
"Are you alright?" Satsuki asked with a frown after seeing Naruto's expression, as if he just learned something horrible and wished he hadn't.
"Y-yeah, I-I'm f-fi-fine. J-just…just learned something." Naruto replied shakily, much to everyone's concern.
"What did you learn?" Questioned Sakura, wondering if it had something to do with Gatō, if he hired more men before he died, before seeing Naruto turn and look at Kakashi.
"I learned about Uzushiogakure in the Land of Whirlpools, and the Uzumaki Clan that were once there." Naruto revealed, with Satsuki and Sakura being shocked at hearing this, while Kakashi tensed and looked at the Uzumaki with wide eyes.
Though Satsuki soon perked up at hearing about the Uzumaki Clan, as she recalled what her mother told her about the Uzumaki Clan, along with how they were known for their mastery of Fūinjutsu and red hair. Along with how she told her about a close friend of hers, that was born from it.
'Kushina. Kaa-chan said that her name was Kushina Uzumaki.' Satsuki thought while glancing at Naruto; wondering if it was possible that this Kushina woman was her teammate's mother.
"I also learned how they apparently had close ties to Konoha. Is that true? And am I part of the Uzumaki Clan?" Naruto asked while looking at Kakashi, with his teammates doing so as well, making the Jōnin sigh before nodding.
"Yes, it's true, that the Uzumaki Clan had ties with Konoha and that you are part of it. But I swear Naruto, the Hokage had his reasons for keeping it a secret, the Uzumaki Clan was seen as one of the most powerful and feared Ninja Clans ever. This was due to their skill in Fūinjutsu, a Ninja Art that barely anyone else knows about beyond the basics; but for the Uzumaki, Fūinjutsu came to them naturally. The fact that the most well-known use of Fūinjutsu was the creation of Jinchūriki, only made the other villages fearful of them. That they may have ways of controlling their Jinchūriki, or even extracting the Bijū from said Jinchūriki. It's why it was kept a secret from you, to ensure that no one would find out there was another Uzumaki. Which would have made you a target for anyone that'd want you dead or used for other purposes." Kakashi explained, trying to justify the Hokage's reasoning for not telling Naruto.
Though the Copy Ninja could see that this revelation had shaken Naruto's faith in the Sandaime; learning he had a clan, but never knew about them.
"But wait if they were such a well-known clan, shouldn't there have been mention of them in the Academy, or something?" Asked Sakura, since there had been no mention of the Uzumaki Clan, while they were in the Academy.
With Satsuki also finding it strange, since the only reason she knew about the Uzumaki Clan was because her mother told her about it.
"Yes…there should have been. The Uzumaki Clan was known for their red hair, so it's unlikely anyone would automatically know Naruto was a member." Said Kakashi with a frown beneath his mask, finding it strange to hear that the Uzumaki Clan wasn't being taught about in the Academy.
As even if the Hokage wanted to hide Naruto's heritage to protect him from those that would target and take advantage of him for it, there should still have been some reference to the Uzumaki in the Academy. Especially, given how the Uzumaki Clan were also know for usually having red hair, which would make most people assume that Naruto just shared a last name with them. Keeping him safe and hidden in plain sight, until the Sandaime felt he was ready to learn about his heritage.
Now hearing that there wasn't even a mention of the Uzumaki Clan in the Academy was strange for the Jōnin to hear.
"Would I be able to go see it?" Questioned Naruto, wanting to go and see Uzushio for himself; wanting to see his clan's village, even if it would be nothing but ruins.
"I…suppose that would be fine." Kakashi replied, not seeing any harm in letting Naruto visit his clan's homeland and learn more about them; it may do him some good as well.
Plus, with Gatō dead, all they really needed to do is wait for Tazuna to finish his bridge and for Satsuki to fully recover from her near-death state.
"If you're going to the Land of Whirlpools, I actually know a guy that can get past them and get you close to the island. He'll be ready to take you in a couple hours, from now." Said Tazuna, making Naruto nod in thanks, glad to have a way to Uzushio; wanting as much time to explore his clans homeland as he can.
*Later*
"Here's some food Naruto, it should be enough to last you during your time in Uzushio." Tsunami said, smiling at Naruto while handing him some food she prepared for him.
"Thanks Tsunami." Naruto replied with a small smile as he stood at the dock with his teammates and Tazuna's family, having met with the person who'd take him to Uzushio.
"Try not to do anything too reckless." Satsuki stated, knowing Naruto can be reckless most of the time and none of them knew what to expect in Uzushio.
"And try not to do anything stupid either; we don't need any more problems." Added Sakura, not wanting Naruto to do something to bring more problems to them.
"I'll try, and I'll hopefully will be back in time." Replied Naruto before getting on the boat, with the others waving to him, which he returned as the boat took off.
Naruto sat in silence as the boat moved closer and closer to Uzushio, with it not being long before he could see an island off in the distance.
"How did you even learn to navigate through whirlpools, anyway?" Naruto asked, looking at the driver, wondering how he learned to navigate through whirlpools.
"It was back when Gatō first took over, he had his men patrolling the Land of Waves in the water; making sure no one could leave to try and get help. Once he'd subjugated us and knew we wouldn't try anything against him, he brought most of them back onto the island, only leaving a few out to keep patrolling. When Tazuna started his bridge, many of us had to be more secretive in bringing supplies in from the mainland; so we had to use more dangerous routes to avoid Gatō's men. One of which being through the whirlpools around Uzushio, with me being the only who could get through them quickly and carefully enough." Explained the driver, making the Uzumaki nod as that'd make sense as to why they'd need to learn to move through whirlpools.
It wasn't long before they reached the whirlpools, making Naruto tense as they moved through them, still worried about the boat getting pulled in and ripped apart. But to his relief, they made it through safely and they approached the island without any more problems. With the driver pulling the boat up to the edge of the island.
"Thanks for the ride; I can take it from here and see about finding my own way back." Naruto said while getting off the boat, with the driver nodding before turning the boat around to head back to the Land of Waves.
Looking around at the island, Naruto took a deep breath before heading towards where he could see the ruins of Uzushiogakure. Not really sure, what he was expecting to find; but still wanting to see the village his clan once lived in, to imagine what it would have been like. And to maybe learn just how they were destroyed.
Taking in the island, Naruto saw the majority of it was surrounded by steep hills around the ruins of the village, along with a large river that seemed to run through it. While from a distance, Naruto could make out that the village itself seemed to have once been made of several high-rise buildings, along with what were likely once gigantic towers, walkways, and platforms above the village. And just looking at the ruins, Naruto was sure it would have been amazing to see in its full glory.
The sight saddening and angering Naruto as he saw the ruins of what could have been his home in another life, now being reduced to this; taking his chance to see what Uzushio looked like. Though when Naruto finally reached the ruins, his anger grew as he began seeing hundreds, if not thousands, of skeletons all around the village.
Looking at the skeletons, Naruto saw many of them wearing ragged and torn Ninja uniforms of other villages, recognizing many from Kumo, Iwa, and Kiri. The whiskered blonde guessing they must have been the villages that organized the attack to begin with. While also seeing Ninja from plenty of minor villages and countries; including Kusagakure, Amegakure, Hoshigakure, and the Land of Rice Fields.
'Why, why, why, why, WHY?!' Naruto mentally shouted, wanting to know why all these villages and clans had to work together to destroy his, wanting to know what they did to deserve this before he was pulled from his thoughts when he stepped on something.
Moving his foot, Naruto's eyes widened in rage and anger at seeing he stepped on a headband, but not one from any of the other villages or clans. Grabbing the headband, the Uzumaki brushed away the dirt and grime, with his anger growing at seeing the familiar leaf symbol on the metal plate.
'Konoha was here?!' Thought Naruto, clenching the headband tightly as it began bending from the pressure while his eyes flashed between blue and red, before looking around as he began noticing the other Konoha Forehead Protectors on some of the dead, with them being among the rest of the attackers.
Seeing that Konoha hadn't only been here, but also taken part in attacking Uzushiogakure, only enraged Naruto more than he already was. Making a mental note to ask Kakashi about this, as even if he's angry at the old man for keeping his clan a secret from him, Naruto would like to believe their bond wasn't a lie. Especially since he didn't seem like the kind of person who'd betray his allies, unless he had a really good reason to do so.
Though at the same time, Naruto was scared to confront the Sandaime about this, not knowing what would happen if the Hokage found out. As what would happen to him, if the old man found out that he went to Uzushiogakure and found Konoha Forehead Protectors among the invaders' skeletons.
'And what would happen if Kakashi tells him?' Thought Naruto, not even sure if he could trust anyone in Konoha, except for maybe his teammates; but anyone else, he had no idea what they would do or who they would tell.
Shaking his head, Naruto created dozens of Shadow Clones and had them begin gathering up the bodies of his deceased clansmen to bury them. While the invaders bodies were gathered in piles, before being burned.
Not knowing what to think of that, the whiskered blonde began exploring the ruins of the village, searching for anything that he could salvage. With Naruto soon arriving at looked to be a plaza with a large fountain in the center of it. While right in front of Naruto, was where he guessed the leader of the village stayed, given the size of the now ruined tower.
Though the Uzumaki's attention was drawn to the sword, that was stabbed down into the top of the fountain, as if it was deliberately placed there.
'Who'd put a sword up there.' Naruto thought, jumping to the top of the fountain and looked the sword over, surprised to see that it didn't show any hint of damage or rusting from how long it's most likely been here.
Remembering what Kakashi said about the Uzumaki Clan specializing in Fūinjutsu, Naruto figured the sword must have seals on it to keep it in good condition.
'I might as well have something to remember them by.' Thought Naruto before grabbing the sword's hilt and tried pulling it out, only to grunt at how tightly the blade was lodged into the fountain.
Grabbing it with both hands, Naruto grunted as he tried pulling the sword free, before yelping when he accidently twisted the sword, only for it turn. Before cursing, when his hand slid across the blade, cutting it.
"Damnit! Why won't it…move?" Naruto said in annoyance, only to be surprised when he saw the sword was now glowing, along with numerous seals around the fountain that stretched out towards the leaders tower.
Before Naruto was shocked as the ground began shaking, with the tower soon rising into the air, revealing a secret entrance right below it.
"Woah." Naruto muttered in shock before looking back at the sword; grabbing it again, he was surprised that he could easily pull it free with no problem.
'Was this like a key, or something?' Naruto wondered, guessing the sword was meant to act like a key to keep the secret passage hidden, and given it activated when he cut his hand, it must have a Blood Seal of some kind.
Looking the sword over, Naruto was able to get a better look at it, now that it was freed from the fountain. Seeing that rather than being a more common blade like a katana, ninjato, kodachi, odachi or tanto, it was instead a broadsword with a golden hilt and cross guard, while the blade was a silver-white color. Though Naruto frowned when he took a closer look and saw that while the sword seemed to be in mostly good condition, the blade itself had some chips and cracks in it.
'Maybe I can get it reforged or repaired.' Thought Naruto, not wanting to simply just toss the sword aside due to some damage, since it's the first thing he found and could keep from his clan.
Sealing away his new sword, Naruto headed over to the revealed passage, seeing it was a long spiral staircase that went into the ground, with the whiskered blonde not even seeing the bottom.
'Really glad I don't have to walk all the way down there.' Thought Naruto as he began jumping down the stairs to get to the bottom.
With it taking a few moments before Naruto finally reached the bottom, only to be confused when he didn't see anything but stone walls. No door, no passageway, nothing to show that anything was here at all.
'Come on, there's got to be something.' Naruto thought while looking around, before spotting something on the floor.
Crouching down, Naruto saw that it was an indentation in the floor, with it being the same spiral shape he's seen on some of the buildings, along with the one on his jacket.
'And the ones on the back of the flak jackets.' Thought Naruto, realizing that must be the Uzumaki Clan's symbol, which only angered him further that Konoha Ninja were wearing his clan's symbol, yet still helped destroy it.
Looking at the indentation for a few moments, the Uzumaki decided to test something before pulling out a kunai and cut open his hand. Letting his blood drip into the indentation, before stopping once it was completely filled, Naruto watched as his blood seemed to be absorbed into it. With him jumping in surprise at a sudden rush of air, until he saw that a section of the wall had opened up, revealing a hidden door.
'Whatever's down here, they definitely didn't want anyone getting their hands on it.' Naruto thought before going over to the now revealed entrance and pushed it open, being greeted with a shocking sight.
It was a long hallway, filled with numerous doors, each one of having signs above them for Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Fūinjutsu, Chakra Control, and Secret Techniques.
'Woah, this must be some kind of secret vault, where they keep all their Jutsu. No wonder they'd want to keep this place hidden.' Thought Naruto, before snapping out of his shock and quickly going through the different rooms, finding they were also sealed and required his blood and Chakra to unlock.
Though knowing he couldn't take everything with him, Naruto took what he could on Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, Taijutsu, Chakra Control, and Uzumaki Clan Secret Techniques. Leaving what he didn't take, since he didn't want to risk taking too much and anyone getting their hands on it, while hoping to eventually come back one day for the rest.
'This is way more than I hoped to find!' Naruto thought, glad he was able to find some stuff from his clan to learn and master before he continued further into the vault.
But rather than finding more doors, Naruto only found a large metal door at the end with a sign above it, showing it was the Forbidden Section of the vault. Placing his hand on it proved to be a mistake, as the moment his hand touched the door, Naruto couldn't remove it. Though he didn't have time to freak out over it as, after a few minutes, his hand was freed while the door swung open.
'I guess that must've been a final defense for any intruders.' Naruto thought warily, not wanting to know what would happen if the door hadn't registered that he was an Uzumaki.
While inside the room, which was much smaller than the others, were only a few dozen scrolls, all of which were black in color. With Naruto deciding to take a few Kinjutsu, never knowing when he may need them as a last resort, before he took notice of a much larger scroll in the back of the room on a pedestal.
Going over to it, Naruto grabbed the scroll, seeing it was the same size as the Forbidden Scroll, only to notice a note underneath it. Setting the scroll aside, the whiskered blonde opened the note to see what it said.
"A Summoning Scroll? For…Kaijū/Titans?" Naruto muttered in confusion at what kind of summons these Kaijū, or Titans as the scroll provided as an alternative name from them, could be.
Only to be shocked as he read the note further, finding that the Kaijū/Titan Summons were part of the reason that Uzushiogakure was attacked by several enemy nations, and even their allies, who all sought their destruction. With the Kaijū/Titans being ancient creatures that predated the Shinobi Era and even Chakra itself, while being capable of rivalling the Bijū and other creatures like them in terms of power. With some of the Kaijū even surpassing them in power, with the Boss Summon being the strongest of them all.
"The…God of Destruction." Naruto muttered while gulping, figuring that for the Boss Summon to have a title like that, meant that they definitely weren't something to be messed with.
Though at the same time, he was surprised and amazed that his clan possessed a Summoning Contract as ancient and powerful as this. Before seeing a note that explained how to form Summoning Contract with them and how to perform the Summoning Jutsu, with Naruto decided to sign the scroll. Opening it up showed several other Uzumaki names, already written inside it.
Biting his thumb, Naruto wrote his name in one of the empty slots before pressing his fingertips below the signature. Only to vanish in a puff of smoke as soon as his name was signed.
*Monster Island*
When Naruto reappeared, he found himself standing in the middle of a forest on what he guessed was an island, given the view of the ocean he saw through the trees.
"Is this the Summoning Realm for the Kaijū and Titans?" Naruto said, wondering if that's where he was, given the note did say he'd be Reverse-Summoned here in order to be tested by the Boss Summon.
"Now I'd just have to find-" Said Naruto, wondering where the Boss Summon could be, only to be cutoff when he felt the ground started shaking.
Stumbling as the shaking continued, Naruto jumped through the trees to see if he could find where the shaking was coming from. Only to suddenly crash into the side of a cliff, knocking him back down to the ground.
"Damnit! Where did that…even…come…from?" Naruto said, only to trail off when he looked at the "cliff" only to see that rather than being made of stone, it instead looked to be made of very dark grey, almost black, scales.
Though Naruto tensed and slowly looked at the "cliff" more closely, seeing it wasn't only made of scales, it also was rather round, while seeing massive and rounded claws, with one of them being even bigger than Naruto was.
"Oh…oh…oh fuck…" Muttered Naruto as he slowly looked up, as realization began setting in for him, that it wasn't what he just crashed into, it was a who.
The creature was truly titanic in size, with Naruto having no doubt it easily step on top of the Hokage Monument and crush it without any effort. The creatures face was blocky, while its neck is broad and has shark-like gills on it, and it eyes were small and a golden-yellow color, with giant and jagged dorsal fins running down its back and all the way to its tail; muscular, almost man-like arms and hands with black claws. And having red, glowing highlights around exposed areas of its body; such as its neck, chest, back, arms, and legs.
Looking at the creature, Naruto didn't even need to ask, having a gut feeling that this was the Boss Summon; but also needed confirmation in case he was mistaken.
"A-are y-you-" Naruto stuttered, only to stop when the creature suddenly started emitting a large amount of heat along with a fiery red glow, with his eyes widening at seeing the surrounding area actually began melting with the heat being released.
But before Naruto could do anything, the creature suddenly threw its head back and let out a roar that shook the entire island, while forcing the whiskered blonde to cover his ears. Only for Naruto to be thrown back when the creature suddenly released a pulse that incinerated the surrounding area. With Naruto crying out at feeling his skin burn, along with his clothes getting burned as well.
Screaming again in pain when the creature released more pulses, throwing Naruto further back and burning him even more, with the Uzumaki having no idea how he's even still alive.
Though thankfully, after releasing five pulses in total, the creature finally stopped roaring and the glow died down, leaving Naruto panting as his wounds slowly healed, while that seeing his clothes were destroyed.
"You're still alive, barely. Then I suppose you pass." Said the creature while looking down at Naruto, who shakily stood up.
"P-pa-passed? P-passed wh-wh-wha-what?!" Naruto questioned while looking up at the creature, wondering what he meant by passed.
"My test, to decide if you'd be allowed to summon the Kaijū and Titans here on Monster Island. You survived my thermonuclear pulse, something that would have killed any other human just by being near me, when I power up." Said the creature, making Naruto pale at the idea he could have died just being near this creature.
"S-so, d-does that mean y-you are the Boss Summon?" Questioned Naruto, with the creature merely nodding.
"Yes, since you survived my test, you'll get to know my name. I am the King of the Monsters, Godzilla!" Godzilla roared, making Naruto cover his ears again at how loud he was.
"O-okay, n-nice to meet you, Godzilla. So, what exactly happens now? I remember the notes near the Summoning Scroll, saying that some Summoning Creatures grant special benefits and abilities to their summoners. So do I get anything now that I'm your summoner?" Naruto asked before gulping when Godzilla growled at him.
"Is it not enough that you're even allowed to summon me and my kind?!" Demanded Godzilla, making Naruto pale and quickly shake his head.
"No, no, no, no, no! That's awesome, really, I was just…" Said Naruto quickly, not wanting to risk upsetting the being who could simply step on him.
Before stopping when he heard Godzilla chuckling lowly.
"If you think I would be upset over that, then you have a lot to learn. As for your question, most summons, such as Toads and Snakes, have what is known as Sage Mode and Senjutsu, where you absorb the Natural Energy around you to enter a more powerful state. But we grant our summoners something else. A rare Chakra Nature, outside of the main Five Elements and their Sub-Elements, known as Radiation Release." Godzilla explained, much to Naruto's surprise.
"Radiation Release?" Naruto asked, wondering what he could do with that.
"Yes, all of Monster Island is saturated with it, which is part of the reason only an Uzumaki can be our summoner, since only they are capable of surviving the vast radiation here and gain Radiation Release. However, without proper control of it, you cannot be around other people without risk of killing them from radiation poisoning; as it's currently leaking from your body." Replied Godzilla, making Naruto gulp while being horrified that he'd never be able to leave Monster Island.
At least not until he can get proper control over his new Chakra Nature, to the point where he wouldn't be subconsciously leaking it out and making him a walking hazard to anyone around him.
"So, if you wish to leave, then you'd want to begin training immediately to master it." Godzilla added, with the Uzumaki rapidly nodding in agreement, not wanting to stay here any longer than he needs to.
"Wait! Before we do that, I wanna know, why didn't you, or any of the other Kaijū and Titans here help protect Uzushiogakure when it was attacked?! You must've had other summoners, so why didn't you help them?!" Said Naruto, wanting to know why the Kaijū didn't help the Uzumaki Clan, when they were invaded.
Given just from Godzilla's size alone, if the other Kaijū and Titans were as big as him, or at least close to his size, then Naruto knew only a single one of them would be enough to wipe out an army. But given that the Uzumaki Clan was gone, he could only guess they didn't help them when they needed it the most.
"It wasn't by choice. You already felt the effects of my thermonuclear pulse, and even if the Uzumaki were resistant to radiation, do you honestly believe all of them could have survived the test. Only the strongest ones dared to risk signing the contract, and even then, not all of them passed. By the time they were attacked, you could count the amount of summoners we had on one hand with fingers to spare. Before any of them could summon any of us, they had been killed." Godzilla said, much to Naruto's surprise at hearing this.
"But…that wouldn't make any sense, if they were all killed, then that means..." Muttered Naruto, doubting all the summoners would have been killed, before any of them could have a chance to summon any of the Kaijū/Titans.
The only way that'd be possible, is if they'd been killed right as the invasion started or just before it happened; which would only be possible if their identities were known and specifically targeted.
"Yes, our summoners had been targeted specifically because of us. To ensure they wouldn't be able to summon me, or any of the other Titans." Stated Godzilla, making Naruto lower his head, since if that was true, then the only ones who could have possibly known who the summoners were, were from Konoha.
"Now enough talk, if you wish to leave, then you shouldn't waste any more time." Godzilla said, with the whiskered blonde nodding, not wanting to think any further on this when he'd need to even be able to leave to get answers.
"By the way, you don't have to refer to us by both of our titles. Just use the one you prefer to use; whether it be "Kaijū" or "Titan"." Godzilla said, knowing how it annoying it could be for those that felt compelled to use both names for their species, with them not really caring on which one was used.
With Naruto nodding in thanks, at that.
*Timeskip-Two Weeks*
Two weeks have passed since Naruto arrived on Monster Island, being able to just pass Godzilla's test and gaining Radiation Release. With his training to master it having been much quicker than he expected, thanks to his use of Shadow Clones. Having learned the secret of them from Godzilla, that anything a clone learns is transferred back to the original. Since it was a go-to training method for the Uzumaki Clan, ever since the Nidaime Hokage introduced the jutsu to them, not long after he created it.
With this also doing nothing to help his list of grievances with Konoha.
Aside from his Radiation Release, Naruto also trained in learning the Jutsu and Chakra Control Exercises he got from the Uzumaki Secret Vault. The latter of which had gone a long way in helping him master his Radiation Release. With him also meeting some of the other Kaijū, who taught him other Chakra Control Exercises and Jutsu to further help with this.
Including how to saturate his lungs with Chakra to breath underwater, which he had to use Shadow Clones for, so he didn't accidently rupture his lungs by using too much Chakra. Another one that improved his swimming and movement in water, as well as one where he coated his body in Chakra to make him immune to water pressure.
With him also having to use clones for the last one, so he wouldn't be crushed if he didn't do it right. Especially due to how the Water Pressure and Lung Exercises were very Chakra taxing, making them perfect for Uzumaki to use; especially a Jinchūriki one, like him.
Naruto also learned Water Walking, and Kunai/Shuriken Balancing from the scrolls, as well as advanced ones unique to the Uzumaki Clan to better help them use their large Chakra Reserves.
During his training, he'd also learned that the sword he'd gotten was called Gram, which had been created and reinforced with numerous seals. Though he had to wait to reforge it, given he didn't know the first thing about reforging a sword, with Naruto planned to do so once he learned how. With Godzilla having even allowed Naruto to take some scales from his dorsal fins to make Gram even stronger, and grant it highly destructive power.
Now after two weeks, Naruto was finally safe to be around other people, without worry of his Radiation Release hurting or killing them. With Naruto having been Reverse-Summoned back to Uzushio, with him also wearing a spare set of clothes, where he collected the Kaijū/Titan Summoning Scroll and sealed it away.
Heading for the coast and walking out onto the water, Naruto bit his thumb and went through handsigns before slamming his hand down on top of the water.
"Summoning Jutsu!" Naruto said, with a massive and long cloud of smoke erupting under the water, with it soon fading to reveal the Kaijū he summoned.
Showing it was a gigantic and even longer sea dragon with aqua blue scales, yellow eyes with slit pupils, and horns sprouting from the top back of its head.
"Hey Manda, could you take me back to the Land of Waves?" Naruto asked as Manda raised his head out of the water.
"Yes Naruto, get on and we'll be there soon enough." Replied Manda, with Naruto nodding before getting on top of Manda's head.
Not a moment later, the great serpent took off through the water, with Naruto hanging on by channeling Chakra to his feet. With it only taking a few moments before they reached the coast of the Land of Waves, while staying far enough away to avoid anyone spotting Manda.
Getting off the Kaijū's head, Naruto waved to Manda as he returned to Monster Island before running towards the Land of Waves; knowing his team will likely be at the bridge by now. With the Uzumaki being right, as he reached the now finished bridge and saw his team about to leave.
"Naruto, good to see you're back, and just in time." Kakashi said, relieved that his student got back before they returned to Konoha.
"Yeah, I got back just now and saw you guys at the bridge." Replied Naruto, before they started walking to return to Konoha.
"Well at least we don't have to explain why you weren't with us to the Hokage." Sakura said, though looking at him curiously, wondering what he found on Uzushio.
"So, are you gonna tell us what you found or not?" Questioned Satsuki, also wanting to know what he found, only for Naruto to shake his head.
"Sorry, it's a secret. But when we get a chance, I'll show you what I've found." Naruto replied, much to both girls' annoyance, but nodded as they began making their way back to Konoha.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruto learning about the Uzumaki Clan in the Land of Waves, leading to him wanting to go to Uzushiogakure to learn more about his clan, which Kakashi allows with Tazuna knowing someone who could take him there. With Naruto arriving and seeing the destruction caused by Kumo, Kiri, Iwa, and many other villages, including seeing that Konoha had also attacked (which isn't bashing as fear can make people desperate, and who wouldn't be terrified of a clan that can summon several giant Titans that rival the Bijū, some of which are even stronger), before we see Naruto find Gram (from the Fate-series before it was reforged but will later on be reforge) which reveals the Uzumaki Clan's Secret Vault where he collects several different scrolls to learn from. Then Naruto finds the Kaijū Summoning Scroll and signs it, with him being taken to Monster Island and barely passes Godzilla's test to see if he'll become their summoner, along with being granted Radiation Release. Finally Naruto trains for two weeks on Monster Island to gain control of his Radiation Release and learning from the scrolls and other Titans, before returning to the Land of Waves ad reuniting with his team as they return to Konoha. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
Storm out
