Kim Possible: Invisible

Breaking into Wade's house was easier than she guessed thanks to her invisibility. She was finding out it not only kept her invisible but free of potential detection from any venue. His motion detectors and other scanners didn't even chirp when she crept down the hall after getting inside and she eased down the basement stairs to enter his lab where Wade himself was predictably working on something in the center of his computer array.
Not one of his scanners, sensors or devices even registered her presence as she walked through his basement lab where his efforts had grown beyond his bedroom over the years. She stood on one side watching him with a faint smirk, considering a prank on the scowling traitor even as his mother shouted for him to attend her.
She eyed him as he left the lab, locking it tight, and then heard his steps going up the stairs before they faded after a few since apparently his lab was partially insulated for sound. That might be helpful to her.
She went to his main computer systems and found them all still on. She glared bleakly when she quickly realized from what she had seen already that he was trying to recreate the stealth tech he and Dr. Fyne had duped her into using. Even knowing the trouble it caused, he was still trying to recreate it.
Dropping the file, she began to study other files and found his own journal she had ignored the first time. Backtracking the dates, she found an entry and began to read as she quickly learned that even Wade had some doubts of the design and its potential flows in his joint project Fyne had helped him upgrade. Only he then arrogantly stated he was certain any potential problems would likely be solved by his own modifications. If not, if there were a perennial fault, as he put it, he was sure they could resolve it in time. In the meantime, he felt the potential value of unbeatable stealth was worth the risk and he was certain Kim would feel the same.
She glared at the entry. So smug. So arrogant. So eager to prove himself smarter than anyone else. How different was he from all those loons and madmen she had faced before now?
She slowly rose as she realized he wasn't. He wasn't the slightest bit different. Ten minutes after she finished downloading every file he had and then pointedly deleting every one of his computers' memories, she lifted the main computer and flung it across the room.
It smashed into a table loaded with chemicals and beakers, but she ignored it. She was already lifting another computer. Then a monitor. Nor did she stop until every computer and device around her or on the tables filling the room was completely destroyed. She stalked over to the large shelf, ready to continue her destruction yet to draw attention, proving either the room was that well insulated, or Wade and his mother had gone out.
She didn't really care just then.
She eyed the equipment and devices on the shelf and began to smile. Then reached for certain items before destroying all that remained.
When she left the lab there was nothing left whole behind her. Not anything. She went up to his room, noting the family was definitely gone and downloaded all he had on the systems there. Before destroying them, too. She left him nothing. She was tempted to burn the house down, too, but felt that wasn't fair to his mother. Kim still liked her.
Wade not so much.
Jumping out his window, she loped down the block to where she had hidden the Roth, climbed in, and flew away as she pondered just how to begin her justified vindication. After all, they had to pay. Once she learned if GJ truly had betrayed her, then she would see everyone paid.
Everyone.

"What is this," Will asked as he walked in that morning to see a work station active without any agent on post.
"Don't know, sir," a female agent just settling at her own post to switch on her systems. "I just got in myself."
"This should have been shut down before… Wait, this isn't standard issue tech," he frowned as he noted the computer station before him had four distinct flash drives plugged into the machine that shouldn't be there. He reached down to pull one out even as the female agent to his left exclaimed, "Viral hack," as alarms went off even as the entire communications systems around them began to smoke, smolder and spark in alarming fashion as everything seemed to short out all at once.
"Shut it down," he shouted, rushing for a hub station himself to try to launch containment procedures.
"Viral cascade," another agent shouted, and raced for a fire ax at the nearby station, and used it to sever the lines to the mainframe as he risked electrocution to stop the chaos.
Before all was done, they learned their entire regional network was shut down and compromised. Still, had they not shut down the virus when they had, it would have had global ramifications, and they all knew that would have been far more devastating.
"Start repairs and initiate backups at once," Will said. "And someone call Dr. Director. Immediately," he said as he eyed the flash drive he still held and noted it had Wade Lode's initials on it.
Only no one could contact Dr. Director. Just as Will soon learned that Wade had vanished as well. Both of them seemed to have vanished overnight, and no one could say where or how.
Agent Du had the unsettling suspicion that he knew exactly how.

"Kimmie," Shego asked as the woman giggled from nearby the tabletop bio-dome she had recently built. "Why did you build this one," she asked as she heard the redhead returning to stand near the table.
Shego watched the top of the dome rise and start to vanish before it rematerialized after being set aside.
"Watch," Kim chortled, and apparently was doing something.
"What is this thing anyway?"
"Look close," Shego was told as the green-skinned woman leaned over, and only then saw the very small farm complete with barn and sheds on one corner of the large tray of dirt, as it appeared to her.
Even as she focused, she saw the pudgy little figure of Wade Lode himself in loose pajamas start to appear as the invisibility began to wear off him after he was apparently dropped into the bio-dome. He rose, stood up looking around, and then eyed Shego with an anxious expression.
"You grabbed the Nerdlinger," Shego exclaimed.
"Not just him," Kim smirked unseen.
"Who else," Shego asked curiously as she eyed the tiny figure barely three inches tall which now explained that toy farm.
"Someone special," Kim tittered. "Just wait. The reveal will be worth it," Shego was told as the comet-powered woman leaned over the table, focusing again as she saw a tiny leg start to appear once Kim released the body she had just dropped. Then the uniform and the rest of the tiny body began to appear, and she gaped at the one-eyed woman that looked around her in a grim manner, but obviously refused to show any fear or alarm.
"You grabbed the harpy," Shego laughed, staring as Wade and Betty eyed one another, and then both looked up at Shego. "I gotta hand it to you, Princess," she said, telling them both just what was going on, "When you decide to go hardcore, you don't screw around."
"Harpy," Kim's voice echoed. "Yes, she is. I thought she was my friend. Or an ally. Only she wasn't. She was never anything but a user. Like Wade," the redhead's disembodied voice snarled.
"Kim, that's not true," Wade tried to shout. "You're confused! The dimensional energies are destabilizing your mind!"
"You couldn't have warned us of that sooner," Dr. Director spat at him in disgust.
"I didn't realize how bad it might be until too late," he told her. "I would have had the chance to find out if your idiotic experts hadn't run her off before I could fully study….."
"Shut up," Kim snarled, the pair clamping hands over ears as her voice was deafening to them at their size. "Just shut up," she spat. "I've listened to you two long enough. Now, you get to amuse me. Show me how well you can do the impossible. You have everything you need to survive. Only you have to earn your survival," she went on. "So, live or die, it's all up to you here. Only this time I get to enjoy the show whatever happens," the invisible redhead sneered at them.
"Kim, this isn't you," Wade shouted again. "Please, listen to me…."
"Too late, Nerdlinger. She already found your files. All of your files," Shego said, eyeing Betty, too. "She knows exactly what you both wanted, and what you both planned. Neither of you saw anything but a tool you could exploit. Even you, Nerd-boy. Well, I'd say your plans just bit you both in the backside," she cackled as Shego turned, and walked away, leaving the pair in the sprawling lab that left them just one table among many in the crowded place.
"Damn," Dr. Director swore, looking around uneasily as they saw the cover now reappearing once it was replaced over the bio-dome.
"Any chance of your people tracking you," Wade asked her somberly.
"She took everything I had before she brought me here," Betty admitted. "I've got my uniform, and that is it. You?"
"I was in bed," the boy said grimly, wearing oversized pajamas with a cloth. "I just woke up here still wearing pajamas and don't have anything. Not that I had much. She destroyed my lab before she grabbed me. She destroyed everything."
"So, she's growing increasingly unstable? As we both feared?"
"More than unstable. Her entire mind is being twisted, possibly altered by that dimensional energy. I'm not sure how she is even thinking just now, but she's not the Kim we knew. She's… I think you know by now that she was behind all those thefts even I tracked," Wade sighed.
"Yet if she had everything she needed…."
"Dr. Director, if the experiment didn't kill her, we're in more danger than anyone realizes. And by we, I mean the world."
"What do you mean?"
"The reason I didn't want to use that device to try to restore her, Dr. Director, was because on the minute chance it didn't kill her outright, it could also potentially intensify and augment the dimensional energies already within her. Before you ask, that would likely make her far more unstable, and even more dangerous than ever. She could conceivably even use the energy in her as a weapon if she figures out how."
"What do you mean," the head of GJ demanded.
"Think about it," Wade hissed. "She is infused with multi-phasic dimensional energies. If she can learn to use them at will, she can go anywhere she wants and no one can stop her. Or she could even send anyone that tries to stop her any place she wants to if she finds out she can open such portals at will. The implications are….frankly disturbing, but that is likely the least she could do now if she did enhance her energy matrix as I belatedly realized was probable," Wade fretted.
"You couldn't have told us this sooner," Dr. Director fumed heatedly.
"I didn't know," Wade said quietly. "I just didn't know."
The head of GJ just stared at him in disdain.
To Be Continued…..
