Onto the actual real chapter.

First, I want to thank my friends Stand with Ward and Queen, Aragorn II Elessar for their help and Bl4ckHunter letting me use his transcripts on Oliver's years away when I get to that point.

The viewing memories will be in italics with being more of a summary than word for word dialogue.

STAR Labs during 2021

In a small grey room Barry Allen in his red Flash suit with his cowl pulled back, is by a decent size console. Hearing a door open Barry looks overseeing an older Roy Harper whose the current Green Arrow while wearing a red hoodie, and blue jeans.

"You know we don't have to do this if you don't want to," Barry says.

"Nope sorry like I've said before it's the only way" Roy replies.

Giving a resigned nod "Does Caitlin have the cure ready to go?" Barry asks.

"Yep, it's modified into a syringe for you to use" Roy replies.

"Good," Barry says, "Well as Han said to Chewie punch it."

The door opens yet again as an attractive woman who has neck-length blonde hair with black highlights throughout, age is visible her eyes more due to loss than years, a dull silver bracelet with a blue gem is in the center on her right wrist. She's in black jeans with a navy shirt under an old, worn red jacket.

"Victor and Cisco did one final check of the machine and gave it the go-ahead," Chloe Sullivan Kent says.

Nodding Barry begins punching various buttons into the machine as there are thoughtful looks on all three of their faces.

October 2001 in the forest during the night

Oliver and Slade approach the wrecked plane while Sara sits over by a makeshift fire looking on grimly.

"It's too late, he's gone," Sara says "We're all going to die here. Just like him."

While Slade is throwing his hands up in disgust Oliver kneels by the pilot's body for using his flashlight looks into the plane. A feeling of hope and a plan comes to mind when seeing something as Oliver reaches in pulling it out.

"No, we're not." Oliver says pulling the item out and tossing the parachute to his brother "I think I found our way on to the freighter."

However, before Slade can form a response, they watch in horror as Sara disappears in blue light. Only both are very quickly surrounded by the same blue light before disappearing as well.

Transporter room in STAR Labs

Waking up Oliver blinks with getting to his feet with glancing around in worry until spotting his friends. Slade and Sara are over on the platform glancing around though both are relieved when spotting the Queen heir. Surrounding them is a square metal room and a platform in the middle of the room, with a blue screen covering it. Oliver and the other two castaways probably think that is what brought them here, somehow.

"Sara, Slade you okay?" Oliver asks walking over.

"Yeah, kid I'm just fine. Ready to find whoever took us and make them start answering questions" Slade says.

"Well on the bright side at least are not on the island anymore," Sara says.

"True, that is one good thing" Oliver replies.

Suddenly a door in the far side of the room opens as Flash speeding in heads to Slade Wilson, jamming a needle into the side of his neck before injecting blue liquid from a syringe. Quickly Barry dashes back near the doorway for obvious reasons.

Lightly dazed Slade starts to fall to the floor Oliver and Sara both grab Slade supporting him for a few minutes until he regains his balance with letting go.

Glaring darkly "What the hell did you do to him?" Oliver growls.

Barry blinks for a moment, given it's been a long time since he's seen that type of glare, that promises a very painful existence if he does not start talking, and fast, not to mention rage at hurting a person he cares for. Of course, Barry notes that he has missed seeing Oliver's glare including everything else about the man he considers an older brother, and mentor.

"I believe Ollie asked you a question, start talking," Sara says threateningly.

Both Oliver and Slade glances over at her impressed.

"We gave him the Mirakuru cure" Barry replies finding his voice after a moment.

"Whoever this guy is he's right… I can feel the constant rage and fog in my head is clear" Slade says relived.

Nodding "Good, next question who are you?" Oliver asks.

Folding her arms "And why did you bring us here?" Sara inquires.

"Well, my code name is the Flash, but you can just call me Barry" the man replies pulling his mask back "You're here well I'll be blunt you're in the future."

"In the future? Right, what escaped prisoner from Ivo's lab are you again" Slade notes sarcastically.

"Given we watched Sara disappear before us in a blue light, this Flash move faster than the eye can blink, you on a super solider drug from World War Two and are in a very solid room, I'd say that yes Slade time travel is possible," Oliver says dryly.

"Okay fine. It still has not answered why we are here though" Slade replies gruffly.

"To view the future so you can prevent it," Barry says.

"Well, that's not something you hear every day" Oliver quips.

"Our lives certainly have gotten strange since we got on that boat Ollie" Sara notes.

"Yeah, mine used to be peaceful until I had to put up with two wayward college brats," Slade says.

Scoffing "And like your such an easy guy to live with," Oliver says.

"What are you talking about? I'm a pleasure to be around" Slade replies.

"Yeah, not on this earth you're not" Sara quips.

"I think the same can be said for you blondie" Slade adds.

"You know maybe there's an earth where he would fit right in among a pirate crew" Oliver adds.

Slade glowers at them both, but then on second thought thinks maybe that is not a completely bad idea running a pirate ship. Well as long as it's not Ivo running the vessel.

Meanwhile, Barry hides a small smirk because they are unknowingly talking about other earths which do indeed exist, not that the three castaways know yet.

"Given you now no longer have the Mirakuru in you," Oliver says sighing and ignoring Sara's uneasy glance "We didn't exactly tell the truth about how Shado died."

"What do you mean?" Slade growls.

"Ivo gave Oliver a choice to choose between Shado and me, Oliver tried to offer himself up to be killed. And Ivo murdered her instead" Sara says.

"That's not… I chose you and Ivo killed Shado because of that. I'm sorry Slade, I killed Shado" Oliver says full of guilt and unable to meet his friend's eyes.

"Ivo was never going to shoot me, he was just messing with you and wanted you to blame yourself for her death," Sara says trying to get through to her friend, and desperately hoping Slade does not decide to kill either of them.

"You killed her kid? Did you hold the gun and pull the trigger yourself?" Slade asks.

"No, but I" Oliver begins only to get caught off.

"It's bull crap that you killed Shado. Ivo's a bloody monster who wanted to cause the most amount of suffering possible, and was never going to kill Sara for obvious reasons. Neither one of you killed her" Slade replies roughly but warmly.

"You're not going to kill us?" Sara asks in part concern and relief.

"Listen I've put too much work into keeping you two idiots alive to let it all go to waste. Yes, I'm not happy you lied to me, but I was a ticking time bomb with that serum crap in me. Plus, I've gotten used to Oliver's unneeded guilt trips blaming himself for everything gone wrong" Slade replies, "Also I don't think the red roadrunner over here would let me kill either of you."

"Wilson's right, I wouldn't. Now while there are a few more people who we are going to pull from the time stream we are going to wait until you three can have a shower, and a change of clothes" Barry says.

Giving a nod "Good, thank you. Where and when are we?" Oliver asks.

"You're in-STAR Labs in the year 2021" Barry replies.

"STAR Labs? I remember my dad talking with Harrison Wells about some funding fundraiser a few months before my one-way trip to hell. It was over something involving a Particle Accelerator" Oliver says.

"Oh, want to have you three checked out by our doctor. While you guys do manage to survive five years of hell, well it couldn't hurt for a checkup" Barry says.

"Probably a wise choice," Oliver says.

"Wait did you say five years?" Sara asks in uneasy horror.

"Yeah, well in your case Sara it was longer, Slade got a bit shorter, but Oliver has three more years before returning home in the original timeline. I'm sorry guys, and even if you do make certain changes, you might not be getting home any quicker" Barry replies grimly.

"Great" Slade says unhappily.

A matching feeling on Oliver and Sara's faces too of unease, while along with Slade they follow the Flash out of the room to other parts of STAR Labs.

Later in a hallway

Outside the medical room is Oliver now wearing a black button-down long sleeve shirt, with blue jeans and boots is leaning up against a glass wall. Slade is across from him on the other metal wall wearing a blue T-shirt and grey pants, with boots.

Currently, Oliver reflects on getting a quick check-up by Dr. Caitlin Snow-Allen, Barry's wife, and strangely didn't even flinch at looking at his scars. Only commented on how there's a lot less than there normally was, which unnerving, to say the least. She injected him with various medicines to help ward off infections and was going to reset some of his bones, but he declined.

Also, Oliver's mind further drifts over finally getting a shower and using soap to wash away over near two years' worth of grime. Even with fresh water from various rivers or ponds on Lian Yu that muck does not truly come off.

Not to mention clean clothes, are just small, important details so many people take for granted. Which is something Oliver knows he never will again. Also, Barry brought all three of them spice-less, bland food so they could digest it easier and not throw up on in reaction.

Brought out of his thoughts Oliver hears the door open as Sara walks out of the room, now wearing a grey long sleeve shirt covered by a green jacket, blue jeans with brown boots. Following her is one Dr. Caitlin Snow Allen wearing her usual causal clothes with a white lab coat, and brown hair with silver highlights. An after-effect of Frost's and her persona's merging over the years.

Looking at Sara then glancing at Dr. Snow "Is she okay?" Oliver asks.

"Well besides the mental trauma all three of you have your physically fine" Caitlin replies "Although I will warn some of the viewings for the other people who are going to be brought here is going to be past stuff you've already lived through."

"Great. Why are they getting to see that? Nobody wants to see that hell, least of all us. Some doctor you are" Slade replies harshly.

"To help them understand what the three of you have been through. You can sit out until it does catch up to what's coming" Caitlin says not even phased at Slade's tone.

"No, it's best if we are in there" Oliver replies although not exactly looking forward to the prospect either.

"You three always were some of the strongest people I know," Caitlin says.

"Why exactly are you using past tense? Are we dead in your future? Is that what you're trying to prevent?" Sara asks uneasily.

"Yes," Caitlin replies bluntly.

"Okay so, we died in the future, a big deal mate. I hope it was at least in a fight" Slade says.

Shrugging his shoulders "Frankly I'm surprised we even made it off the island to die later on" Oliver replies.

"Yeah, that's a miracle in itself," Slade says.

Glancing between them "You two are taking getting killed way too easily" Sara points out.

Meeting her eyes "Listen we died in this timeline, we are not dead yet" Oliver says, "We got brought here to change it so let's not dwell on that."

"True and we have faced our mortality a little too much for my liking in these past years," Sara says.

"For once blondie, we agree" Slade replies.

"Wow, that is a rare thing to hear" Sara quips.

Sighing "Let's get moving," Oliver says.

A crackle of lighting as the Flash is in the hallway with Oliver, Slade, and Sara taking a moment for seeing him appear out of thin air, although the man himself has an amused grin on his lips.

"Back to the transporter room" Flash replies.

Hope you all enjoyed this with leave a review letting me know what you think if you want.

Next chapter will be when the Smallville viewing members show up with us seeing Smallville 1x01.

Regarding Slade telling Oliver and Sara on no blaming either for what happened to Shado or not telling him is as long as the Mirakuru was in Slade it wouldn't have mattered.

We've seen on the show how that stuff made Roy unstable, and with Slade listening to Shado's ghost it would have just sped up Oliver or Sara's deaths quicker.

The only person to blame is Ivo, neither of them.
