AN: Welcome back everyone!

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the last chapter!

So, answering some questions in the reviews. Someone mentioned whether oaths on the River Styx would actually be binding to Cyrus because he's not Greek. I'll be honest, I never thought of that much, but I think it's more of a moot point regardless because Cyrus has a thing about keeping his oaths to the letter as much as possible. He may bend and twist the rules, but he always keeps his word.

As for updates and scheduling, you are correct! I am in college at the moment with some assignments starting to knock me around, so I've slowed down the pacing of me throwing out chapters. Not to mention I like to work ahead slightly and keep giving you guys some good chapters as opposed to just word vomit, so while I will be slightly inconsistent, I want to provide a very good product. Generally I'll do my best to try and put a chapter out before the end of the week.

Right, enough talk.

Let's begin!

Disclaimer: I, Beowulf, do not own PJO or JJBA. I only own this plot, my OC, and the disappointing truth that I do not possess D4C. If I did, I'd be jumping around universes like a bunny on crack.

~Chapter 19~

Cyrus grimaced as he and Percy chased after Rina Blackmore. Even with Percy's invulnerability to water damage and his own maneuverability with D4C, Blackmore was a slippery opponent.

The girl was fast, hopping from raindrop to raindrop with alarming speed with Percy struggling to keep up due to his inexperience in manipulating the water and Cyrus being the main target.

He never remembered having to warp and twist himself between dimensions so much as he had to in order to avoid the frozen raindrops that Blackmore left in her wake. He bit back another curse as he reappeared out from the side of a raindrop blade that she had solidified, only to catch three frozen raindrops in his chest, tearing clean through him. "Damn it!"

Percy scowled as he took strength from the water that was constantly splashing against his skin. No doubt, their enemy had frozen them in place in an attempt to harm him, but his heritage denied that, instead making him stronger. But that meant nothing if she was still faster!

She was much more experienced in using her Stand no doubt, while Percy had never really trained with his water manipulation abilities. Percy made a mental note to get right on that after this fight, for sure.

"You okay?"

"Don't worry about me Sharkbait, just focus!" Cyrus gritted his teeth as he felt the holes in his chest. "Damn it! She's after me, so she's just letting me tear myself apart with frozen droplets!"

Snarling in annoyance, the demigod Stand User drew the Last Word, firing off a slew of bullets.

"What are you doing?!" Percy shouted out in shock. Was he seriously going to shoot a little girl?!

Rina glanced back, her eyes widening behind Catch the Rainbow's form on her face. The very air seemed to turn liquid as a wall of water formed around her.

Thunk thunk thunk!

The bullets crashed into the wall of hardened rain, stopping them in their tracks as Rina turned around to look at them.

Cyrus frowned a little as he lowered his handcannon, grimacing as he held a hand over his wounded chest. "Damn...I can't approach her in this rain, I'm not even sure I can get close enough to capture her..."

Percy just gaped at him. "Did you seriously just shoot at a little girl?!"

The gunslinging teenager just held up his gun. "Rubber bullets. The Last Word shoots whatever I want it to shoot and never runs out of ammo. Only catch is that I have to reload."

"Besides, I knew she would try to block using the rain."

Blinking for a moment, the son of Poseidon nodded slowly. "Oh...fair enough." He turned back to Blackmore, who had now stopped running, instead standing maybe ten feet up and away from them.

He cursed a little. "We can't even catch up to her, and we don't want to hurt her...any ideas?"

Inwardly smiling at the younger teen for starting to think things through, Cyrus racked his brain, before coming to the best conclusion. "Yeah. You."

Percy glanced at him in surprise. "Me? What do you mean?"

"You're our best chance of catching her."

Before Percy could deny it, Cyrus continued, "Look, I can't get close enough to get ahold of her, and you get stronger the more water you get splashed on you. Plus, this is water Sharkbait. Use it."

Percy was still hesitant. He bit his lip, before looking back at Blackmore. "...Why did she stop running..?"

Cyrus looked up at their enemy, and shrugged. "Well, when in doubt, just ask...hey, why did you stop running?" He shouted out his question.

Blackmore didn't answer.

Squinting for a moment, Percy noticed that the raindrops weren't frozen around her as they were before. Instead they were...falling through her?

Holes were forming as the rain fell clean through her body. She lifted her mask a little, revealing her face. Her face was the definition of innocence, with blue eyes and blond hair escaping from the sides of her pink hooded raincoat...but something was missing...

Percy's eyes widened. "What the Hades is this?!"

Rina's mouth was gone. In its place was a hole, as if it had just melted away.

"Melted? No that's not right...did it just become like liquid? Like the rain...she's using the rain!"

Something clamped down on his shoulder, making him gasp out in pain. "OW!"

Looking back, Percy could see what it was. It was Rina's mouth! Completely disembodied from the girl, it almost seemed projected from the water droplets. Opening wide, it had bit forward, chomping down hard on his shoulder.

Cyrus snarled as D4C lashed out with a punch, only for the mouth to completely dissolve into water, with the mouth immediately reforming onto Rina's face. Percy just growled as the bite wound healed as the rain fell down on him.

"Well this is just peachy." Percy grimaced as he looked around at the pouring rain around them and cursed under his breath.

Every single rain drop was a threat, and now Blackmore had a way to harm even Percy, despite his immunity to water damage.

Blackmore stood on the rain still, her arms seemingly dissolving into the rain. The two boys' eyes widened as their senses went on high alert.

An arm materialized out of the rain next to Cyrus, raking a rain blade across the length of his arm. The teen roared in pain as another arm formed in front of Percy, nailing him square in the nose with a whack from Blackmore's umbrella.

"I'm so sorry sir, but I don't have a choice in doing this." Blackmore's disembodied mouth spoke in front of them even as the girl stood far away from them.

Cyrus gritted his teeth as he pushed through his wounds, staring up at the girl's saddened eyes. "Why? Why don't you have a choice?"

The child Stand User hesitated, looking away a little. "I...I can't..."

"You don't have to do all this! Someone's making you do all this horrible stuff, aren't they?" Percy shouted out, earning Rina's attention.

The girl shifted anxiously on the patch of rain upon which she stood. "I...he said he wouldn't..."

Cyrus's eyes narrowed as he stepped forward, ignoring the frozen rain that ripped open his cheek. "He wouldn't what? Who is 'he'?"

Blackmore's eyes flicked downwards to the junkyard below and the gray-coated teen immediately understood. "I see...he's down there isn't he? The other Stand User. The one that's causing the rain for you to use?"

The girl flinched. Cyrus's eyes glinted as he advanced further, sensing he was getting closer to the truth. "You mentioned your father earlier and you did the same glance with your eyes...that other Stand User is your dad, isn't he?"

Her eyes widened, and the two boys were taken aback by the fear that almost roiled off of her body. "I-I'm sorry, I said too much!"

Whatever rain she was freezing in place above her fell in a sudden downpour on top of her. Percy gasped in shock as she was...almost washed away, disappearing in a second!

Cyrus cursed again as he kept D4C at the ready. The Horned Stand appeared by his side, its pink eyes glowing as its hands clenched into fists. "Shit. She's really getting serious now..."

"She wasn't before?" Percy grumbled as he held Riptide in hand, his eyes darting left and right as he concentrated on his senses in the pouring rain. Where would she attack from?

Suddenly a surge of pink-ish water streaked past Cyrus's left leg, slashing it open, before curving around and punching him through the back and out near his shoulder. "Gahagh!" The teen spat out a glob of blood as the hole in his shoulder and the cut in his leg spewed out crimson.

Percy winced, trying to rush over and help, only for an arm to materialize out of the rain, smacking him clean in the jaw with Blackmore's umbrella, making him see stars.

Cyrus grimaced, blood now dripping from his lips as he held his hands over his wounds. "Wonderful...she can completely meld with the rain to attack us..." (1)

The son of Poseidon scowled as he shook his head clear of spots in his vision. "Hopefully the others are having a better time with that other enemy..."

Thalia scowled as her eyes darted left to right then left again, her senses on burning red alert as the fog continued to surround her. She had to end this quickly, or the poison that her enemy had dosed the fog with would kill her friends, and Rina could end up killing Cyrus. Concentrating on her heritage, she felt the winds surge around her clearing the mists away in a five foot radius.

"How the hell are you doing that...?" She whirled around to the sound of the voice, only to see nothing but mist.

She snarled. "Show yourself coward!"

"Make me then." Brandon's voice bit back. She could almost see the cruel sneer he was making. Lightning sparked around her hands as she gritted her teeth. A chill went up her spine as she felt her demigod instinct kick in, screaming at her to dodge.

Thalia ducked, dodging the short sword that had swung right where her head had been. Spinning around as she ducked, she saw him, grinning maliciously as he held a steel blade in hand. With a shout, she lashed out with Aegis for a shield bash.

Only for Brandon to suddenly explode into a puff of cloudy mist.

"What? Where the h-OW!" The blade grazed her arm from behind as she dodged just a second too late. She gritted her teeth as the cut along the length of her forearm stung.

The elder Blackmore just kept up his sickening smirk, holding the blade up to his eyes a little as her blood trailed down the edge. "Hmmm, maybe there is a reason that dog Khan keeps you around if you're fast enough to dodge one and half of my attacks...then again, I guess you had to be, unless he was into useless eye-candy." He smirked, licking a bit of her blood off the blade.

She cringed at that, "Okay, that's just disgusting. What the Hades is this guy's problem?"

"Still...you're a strange one, aren't you? You're able to react to my movements even in this fog...how?" He mused out loud, peering at her in intrigued confusion, seemingly mulling the taste of her blood in his mouth.

"Creepy bastard..." She grumbled out, silently noting that Cyrus's foul mouth was starting to rub off on her. "Okay, focus Thalia. Creepiness aside, he's still a threat. Think! What do we know?"

Clearly his main method of attacking was actual weaponry, going off of the steel blade he was using, along with little scabbard that she had noticed was strapped to his belt. That was easily dealt with...but what about his powers?

What about his Stand?

Unwillingly (thanks to having to view that abomination again), Thalia went back over what King of the Clouds had done in her mind. "It's a pretty tiny Stand...looks pretty weak physically as well so its not doing a lot of all out fighting...it exhaled all the fog..."

"It can create the fog and the mist and even the rain clouds above us...and he was able to make those copies of himself? But how?"

"Eyes on the prize bitch!" Brandon Blackmore rushed forward with a sword thrust, his visage the very picture of malicious glee. She made to bat the blade aside with her spear, her eyes widening in surprise as the spear ghosted clean through it.

The figure of the elder Blackmore burst into a puff of mist, obscuring her vision once again. She bit back another cry of pain as something slashed near her shoulder.

Gritting her teeth, she took command of the wind once again, urging it to dissipate the mists around her. The air heeded her calls, and the mists that clouded her vision vanished instantly.

"How? How is he able to get the jump on me again and again?!" She thought to herself frantically as she racked her brain for answers.

It made no sense! How was he able to conjure up all those copies of himself if his power was over clouds?

Unless...

Her eyebrows scrunched together as she analyzed what had happened in their short exchanges.

He had struck at her, only for her to bash him with Aegis...which made him disperse into fog...

He had struck at her again, and he'd dispersed into fog...

She gasped in realization.

"He's able to twist the fog and mist around him into fake copies of himself for distractions!" The mist was definitely thick enough to do so, it was almost as thick as the clouds above them!

With this realization came another as she grinned to herself. "So if he's using the mist and the fog, I can sense it!" She was the daughter of Zeus! The air was hers to command! It couldn't be that hard if she was commanding the winds earlier to help her, right?

She concentrated, closing her eyes and bowing her head a little, focusing all of her senses as a child of the Sky on the air itself. Her hold on Aegis and her spear were somewhat lax, but ready to strike at a moment's notice. She could almost hear Cyrus's voice in her ear, telling her the way to beat the elder Blackmore.

"The illusions are just bits of fog so they won't make any difference in the air around you...focus on what's moving through the air. Focus on what's pushing the air aside around you. That-"

Her eyes snapped open as she felt a change in air pressure on her right, even as an image of Brandon lunged from her left. "-Is where you are!" She shouted out, thrusting to her right with her spear, putting her weight behind it.

She felt a grin cross her lips as the image on her left immediately vanished, with the fog on her right clearing to see Brandon Blackmore stabbed through the shoulder with her spear.

He snarled loudly even as blood dripped from his lips, his teeth bared like a cornered wild animal, and his eyes just as twisted as something out of a serial killer movie. His Stand squealed in pain as a similar wound appeared near its corresponding wing. "You whore! How dare you do this to me!" He gnashed his teeth as he tried to slash forward with his short sword, but Thalia's spear kept him at bay.

Thalia gave a vicious sneer right back, leaning forward a little as she pushed the spear just a little bit more in, making him growl in pain. "Note for you, Blackmore...don't call a woman that when they have a spear in your shoulder." She snarked before ripping the spear out and bashing him in the face with Aegis.

Blackmore roared in agony as his nose shattered, glaring with the most visceral hatred. Thalia just smirked back, whacking her spear against her shield in challenge. "Bring it bastard!"

Percy gave another undignified yelp of pain as Rina's umbrella crashed into the back of his head. "I'm getting real sick and tired of her whacking me with that thing!" He grumbled loudly.

Cyrus gave him a glare, making him wince. He didn't even have to say much of anything at all, the Stand User's condition said everything.

The older teen's hands were covered in slashes and cuts, along with his cheeks. A shallow slash went just above his eye, dripping blood into his left eye. His clothing was covered in rips and cuts, with his shirt completely in tatters, revealing his toned torso. Unfortunately it was marred with cuts of its own, with a rather large but shallow one tearing its way from his right shoulder to his left hip and a hole through his left shoulder.

"Never mind, I have no room to complain." Percy recanted his statement out of mild embarrassment, before suddenly dodging a strike from Rina's umbrella out of sheer instinct, before he stiffened.

"Wait...how did I do that? She nailed me a couple of times doing that...so how did I know she was there?"

Could...could he..?

Meanwhile, Cyrus, even through his numerous flesh wounds, grinned a little in approval as he saw the son of Poseidon dodge the strike from Catch the Rainbow's user instinctually.

The realization hit Percy like a splash of hot coffee on his face, which made him almost facepalm at his own denseness.

This was all rain! Water! Which meant...

He concentrated on his heritage, praying to his dad that he was right in his thought process. He felt a flash of his senses crying out in warning from his left. In a flash of bronze, Riptide knocked aside the umbrella that had come swinging down towards his head.

Percy felt himself grin. "I was right! I can sense her movements through the rain around me! It's all water after all."

"Wow...you actually caught that. You're pretty interesting, sir..." Rina's voice reached their ears once again through the disembodied mouth that formed out of the raindrops, her tones surprised, almost cheery. "But I'm really sorry, but I have to get rid of you both now..." Aaaand back to nervous sadness.

Frowning at that, Percy got right to the chase. "You really don't have to do all of this! Your dad's making you do all this right? He's the Stand User down there causing this rain?"

Rina went silent, but Percy took that as a yes. "Look, we both can tell you don't want to fight us. So why fight? No good dad would make you do something you didn't want to like this!"

"I NEVER SAID HE WAS!" The girl shouted back, taking another swing at Percy as her arm once again materialized from the rain with her umbrella. This time, the younger teen dodged the attack, his eyes widening as he noticed something as her arm over extended, showing some skin under the pink raincoat she wore.

Bruises...bruises colored the pale skin of the child...in the shapes of fingertips...

Percy's blood froze in his veins, before boiling hot rage coursed through them.

It all made sense...that bastard down there...

As if to confirm it for himself, Percy's hand shot forward, grabbing her wrist before sliding the sleeve back. Cyrus's own eyes widened in shock before hardening. Percy could have sworn that a fire was literally burning in the older teen's pupils.

Her entire arm was littered in bruises and small cuts.

If Percy had heard his own voice, he would never have thought it was him speaking. However, the sound of his voice was drowned out by the amount of anger thrumming in his ears. "Did he do this to you?"

Rina's arm jerked away from him, moving back as she materialized back into being. Her eyes were horrified, as if she'd been outed...which, the two boys thought, she technically had been.

Cyrus took a step forward on the frozen rain, grimacing as his body screamed out in protest. "He did. Didn't he? He threatened you with more if you didn't go along with what he said?"

Water began to drip from the eyeholes of Catch the Rainbow. It could have been the rain...but Percy knew they weren't as Rina nodded slowly.

He felt the rage burning in his heart again as he saw the bruises on the little girl's arm. He could still see them, but his mind was somewhere else.

The stench of beer, cigarettes, and guacamole.

The sound of poker chips constantly clinking.

Percy was no stranger to abuse. Hell, he'd had to deal with Smelly Gabe abusing him and his mother. So it was safe to say he despised such people.

But this..? Even Gabe wasn't stupid or sick enough to beat him up, considering his mother would have gone ballistic. This scum was hurting a little girl like this?

Percy could already feel his own protective streak taking hold as he glanced back at Cyrus. The older teen gave him a nod as he advanced forward. The son of Poseidon winced even as the suspended raindrops continued to cut the young man before him, but Cyrus just kept moving, undeterred by his own pain.

"Let us help. We can get you away from him after we beat him." Rina's eyes widened in a with a flash of hope, before closing off instantly. "No! He's too strong! If he sees I couldn't stop you two he'll...he'll..."

She held herself gently as she shivered. "I'm sorry! I have to do this!"

Before she could move though, two bands made from water quickly wrapped themselves around her, making her flinch a little. Cyrus glanced at Percy, seeing his brow creased a little in concentration as he walked towards the little girl.

"No! Stop it!" She cried out as she thrashed around in a panic. She didn't even think to use her Stand to slip away, the mask fading slightly from her face, "Let me go! I have to do this or he'll hur-"

"No he won't." Percy cut her off firmly as he stood in front of her. As he stood in front of Rina, her eyes closed in preparation for a hit, a tear slipping. Instead, she felt the water restraints disappear, instead replaced with a pair of arms.

Her eyes snapped open in surprise as she realized she was being hugged. Percy had wrapped her in an embrace as she stiffened. "W-why are you-?"

Percy smiled down at her as he stepped away a little, holding her at arms length. "I know at least a little of how it feels Rina. It doesn't have to be like this. Trust us, we can help."

Cyrus nodded as he walked over to them, the raindrops no longer frozen in place around him as Rina had lost her concentration. "He's right Rina. Let us help you." He finished with a reassuring smile.

Rina's face, which had been so apprehensive, now looked up at the two boys, tears welling up in her eyes as a tiny spark of hope formed in them. "C-can you really?"

The son of Poseidon gave her another hug even as he shot a glance at Cyrus, who gave a nod of approval. "We promise."

The little Stand User seemed to wrestle with herself for a moment, before smiling and nodding. She looked up, before gasping in surprise. Percy and Cyrus did the same.

Above them, the rain clouds were starting to dissipate, with the rain slowly decreasing in frequency. Cyrus raised an eyebrow at that, before smirking. "Huh, looks like the others managed to take down your father, Rina. You have nothing to fear anymore."

Rina looked a little hesitant, but smiled and nodded. Cyrus and Percy exchanged amused glances, even as the former winced from his numerous wounds. Percy held out a hand and smiled down at her. "Come on, lets get down before the rain disappears."

"Mhm!" Rina took the offered hand in her own as they walked down the frozen raindrops to the ground below.

As they made it down, the rain began to slowly but surely decrease in frequency as the clouds lightened from the dark rainclouds into fluffier white ones. Finally, just as they all got back to solid ground, the clouds broke apart, revealing a rainbow. Rina 'wow'ed at that, her eyes sparkling a little as Catch the Rainbow disappeared fully from her face, revealing an adorably childish expression of wonder. "I've never seen a rainbow..."

Cyrus just chuckled at that. Seemed like this time, the user of Catch the Rainbow would live a happier life (2). "Good on the others for finally stopping the other Stand User...wonder how they managed it?"

-Flashback, fifteen minutes ago-

Thalia smirked challengingly at the irate Brandon Blackmore, as blood dripped from his lips and his wound in the shoulder. King of the Clouds hissed angrily as it coiled around his arms and shoulders.

She was still wounded, with a slash along the length of her forearm, and another cut near her shoulder, but now she was confident. Her eyes were focused on Blackmore's unhinged orbs, with her spear and shield at the ready.

"I know your tricks now, you creepy jerk." Thalia said with a smirk as she looked into those deranged orbs. "You can use the fog and the mist you create with your Stand to make illusions and copies of yourself to trick people."

Even with the hole near his shoulder, Brandon gave a smirk, "So, the bitch figured it out...impressive I suppose. You're right, my King of the Clouds can make and manipulate the clouds however I want, using them for anything I so please."

"I'm not sure how you managed to figure out where I was...but it doesn't matter." The elder Blackmore said as he wiped away the blood on his lips with the back of his hand. He sneered as his Stand's repulsive face bulged again, exhaling another metric ton of fog.

Thalia snarled as she prepared herself for another attack. Brandon just laughed cruelly as the fog began to encircle him, his arms wide and his blade in his right hand, as if proclaiming his victory. In only a few seconds, the man had disappeared.

She backed up a bit, her senses on high alert once again as Brandon's laughter echoed from every direction around her. She grimaced as five copies of the man rushed out at her from all sides.

"Damn it!" She swore inwardly as she was forced to stay on the defensive, moving to block and defend against all the attacks, whether they were just fog copies or not, "If I had more practice in reading the air currents I'd be able to figure out which one was real, but he's putting the pressure on me too much!"

The daughter of Zeus let out a cry of pain as a slash struck near her calf, making her stumble. "I'm getting real sick and tired of your crap..." She scowled out as she leaned on her spear a little, catching her breath for a brief moment.

"There's got to be a better way to take him down than just waiting for him to strike!" In her thinking, she had looked down at her own feet, at the ground below her. The sand was now thoroughly wet with the rain from above.

Wait...the sand...the wet sand...

Thalia gasped quietly in a moment of realization as a plan formed in her mind. During the very few times she ever listened in classes (blame her ADHD and dyslexia), she recalled in Science classes that sand often had ions in it, and while usually it wasn't conductive, it would become so when wet...

Which meant...

"Now you die! A fitting end for the whore who struck me with that blasted spear!" Six copies of King of the Clouds's user burst out of the mists around her, ready to land a crucial blow.

"You first!" She roared as she stabbed her spear into the ground, sending as much electricity as she could through it in a quick blast.

"RRAAAHAAAGH!" Five of the six copies vanished in a puff of mist, leaving the last one to be overwhelmed with the electrical shocks. His eyes rolled up into his head as he twitched and growled in pain like a wounded animal as the electricity overwhelmed his nervous system.

"Y-you...you!" He snarled as the shock subsided, still twitching and stumbling as his nervous system struggled to recover. "I'LL KILL YOU!"

He shrieked out as he lunged for the girl. Only to suddenly stop in his tracks, collapsing as if all of his motor functions had just stopped. His Stand followed suit, stiffening as it fell to the ground next to him. He gritted his teeth as he was suddenly unable to move. "Wh-what the hell is this?!"

Thalia frowned a little as she stood up. She...she wasn't doing that.

Brandon's eyes suddenly widened in horror as he saw something that seemed to be behind Thalia. "N-no! Stay away!" He cried out in terror as he tried to move his arms and legs to get away, all to no avail.

The daughter of Zeus looked behind her, only to see nothing! "What are you talking about?" She asked as she turned back, only to notice something peculiar.

Brandon seemed to have...two shadows?

His normal shadow was below him as was expected, but connected to it was another long shadow, disappearing into the fog.

"Y-you can't see it? No, it's gonna get me! Stay the fuck away from me!" The enemy Stand User seemed to be losing his mind more and more as he panicked, only for his body to refuse to respond. His eyes were wilder and wilder by the second, with his shrieks growing louder and louder.

Suddenly, he stopped, his eyes back up into his head as he passed out. Thalia was dumbfounded. What the hell just happened?

The elder Blackmore's Stand, which had been struggling to move simply relaxed, dissipating like the fog around it. The clouds above also began to lighten as the rain slowly faded from a downpour to a drizzle before ceasing completely, turning a fluffy white color as opposed to the darkness before.

The fog around them faded as well, revealing all of Thalia's surroundings. Behind her were her comatose friends, no doubt still knocked out from the poison that Brandon Blackmore had put into his fog. She rushed over immediately, dismissing Aegis back to its bracelet form and her spear back to its mace canister as she began checking over their vital signs.

"Come on come on..." She muttered to herself as she felt for a pulse on all of them, sighing in relief as she felt it growing steadily stronger for each of them. "Thank you Gods..."

"Phew, finally here, huh Risi? I even managed to get a good grip on him with Scaretale...(3)"

Thalia spun around at the new voice, her hand just over her bracelet.

There were two people now. One was a tall man with grey hair, even though he seemed pretty young. His eyes were a curious shade of red, with black sclerae, and he wore clothing that...sort of kind of reminded her of Cyrus's clothing style. He had a long black coat on, and wore black-and-white striped pants. He didn't wear a shirt under his coat, and he had a hat on that reminded her of a court jester.

The other person was a woman, slightly shorter than the man. She had long swirly blond hair, with hazel eyes surrounded by dark eyeliner. She had black lipstick on, with a spider-bite piercing under her lip. She wore a white sleeveless corset that bared a tattoo that wrapped around her chest back over her shoulder, torn grey jeans, steel-tipped boots, and a long white cardigan.

In any other circumstances, Thalia would have liked to say she loved the woman's style, but not right now. She had just fought a hostile Stand User and she was not in the mood for dealing with other people, thank you very much.

Looking them up and down, the daughter of Zeus gave a start as she realized that the woman's shadow was somehow attached to Brandon Blackmore's.

Apparently she'd made some noise, because the strange couple noticed her, their expressions turning to confusion. The man's serious expression turned hard in suspicion, while the woman's seemed content to just remain as confusion.

"Oh...erm...hello!" She said brightly with a wave, "We're here for Cyrus!"

Thalia's eye twitched as the name of the Stand User she was so fond of came up. "Great..."

Brandon Blackmore, user of King of the Clouds, DEFEATED!

AN: Phew! What a long one. I'll be honest, I was a bit iffy regarding handling the fighting scenes for this one, but I like to think they worked out quite well!

We have the completed battles between Rina and Brandon Blackmore, along with Percy and Thalia finally getting to show their stuff! Along with that, we have the acquisition of Rina Blackmore, and, we get to meet Anette and Risotto, who have finally found their way to the junkyard, albeit at the end of the fight!

Notes:

(1) This is a a bit of a general note regarding the Percy and Cyrus v. Rina Blackmore fight, but here goes. I was a bit confused on how to approach it, considering that if this were a full on killer like the original Blackmore, Cyrus would simply show no mercy and just go for the killing blow. But this is a child, so restraint is required. This self-imposed limit is why Percy and Cyrus, despite their impressive power, struggle in the fight. Not to mention, Catch the Rainbow's power in the rain is absolutely nuts. Manifesting blades and being able to meld with the rain to extend your own range is no doubt powerful...

Plus, Cyrus wanted Percy to grow a bit more. D4C is immensely strong, but for the team to rely on him completely would just be detrimental, and Cyrus is hoping to make Percy much better as a person anyway. He does see Jonathan in him a lot after all...

As for Rina Blackmore as a whole, Blackmore in the source material is heavily implied to be mentally disabled/has the mind of a child. So to me, the best way to introduce Catch the Rainbow, was to make the user a child. Blackmore is also very apologetic and nervous when it comes to social things, considering he says sorry a lot and talks to everyone formally. I tried to incorporate this in Rina's speech as well, using Brandon's abuse of her to serve as the reason why she's so apologetic and formal with everyone.

(2) Considering Blackmore got to see Jesus and promptly got butchered by gunshots and a steel ball to the face in the original material, I'd definitely say this is a better fate.

(3) And now we have Scaretale! This Stand is based off of the song of the same name by Nightwish, with the user being Anette, who is named after Anette Olzon, the vocalist behind the song!

Right, that's it for the notes. Not too much regarding them, but definitely a nice long chapter for you guys for you guys to feast on haha.

As a side note, I decided to include a Stand Stats section for Stands that are introduced, so here they are!
