Chapter Four:

The rest of the train ride was rather pleasant in Enuma's opinion. The King continued chatting with the young Witch known as Hermione Granger, who she wouldn't mind having in her Peerage. While Enuma definitely intended to fill her Peerage, she wasn't really in a hurry to do so. Much like how Enuma didn't feel any real need to fill up her Peerage, she didn't have any particular preference on what she wanted in it.

Eventually, the train ride came to an end as the Hogwarts station closed in. Prompting the girls to change into their robes, to the slight annoyance of the actual eleven year olds (Enuma and Hermione) while the centuries old Vampire was actually kind of delighted to wear robes again and not get too many odd looks. The last time Shalltear wore robes was during the Late Middle Ages while living in the home of the Bloodfallen clan of Pureblood Vampires, Castle Bloodfallen, somewhere in Europe… and she was born during the start of the High Middle Ages.

The Vampire had conflicting feelings regarding the Late Middle Ages, as it was a time where she partook in the extermination/genocide/slaughter of multiple Vampire covens, both Turned and Purebloods, earning the infamous moniker of "The Bloody Valkyrie" and claiming some of the female survivors as her playthings, by right of conquest, which she killed once she got bored with them. At the time, she felt great honor and pride as a warrior and princess of the Bloodfallen clan. But in later centuries could only feel shame and regret. Something that Shalltear felt sadness for was the internal conflict that destroyed the Bloodfallen clan and left her as the last member and head of the clan (by default).

The Vampire was brought out of her rather depressing thoughts by a light smack to the head, courtesy of her King, who told her that it was time to get off the train. Shalltear simply nodded in acknowledgment as followed her King with the Witch known as Hermione Granger not far behind the Queen of the Peerage.
