AN: And we are back with another chapter! Thank you so much for the support on the last chapter, it really means a lot. So without future adieu, let's just jump into it!

With the barrel of a gun looking down at him, Izuku locked eyes with Uraraka. "Well, are you going to explain?" Asked Uraraka.

Izuku smiled, "Why, you should be able to tell, can't you?"

Uraraka looked at the bite mark and then back at Izuku. "It's not possible. If you were bit, then you should have turned. What, do you have some sort of quirk that helped you fight off the infection?"

"Not necessarily, it's sort of a special case." Said Izuku.

"Then explain. Before I use other methods to get my explanation." Threatened Uraraka.

Izuku sighed, "Fine, but if you're going to threaten someone, you should at least take the gun off safety."

"Huh? I don't have it on safety." Uraraka checked the side of the gun. But as she did Izuku jumped at her.

Grabbing her wrists, Izuku managed to force the gun up. Taken by surprise Uraraka fired off a round into the ceiling. The two then struggled against each other, but thanks to Izuku grabbing her wrists Uraraka couldn't use her quirk.

Pushing her up against the wall Izuku began to repeatedly slam her hands against the metal bus walls. Eventually Uraraka dropped the gun, seeing that the weapon was no longer in play Izuku swiped her legs from under her.

Slamming against the floor, Izuku then got on top of Uraraka. The two then looked at each other, both were breathing heavily, "I'd like to see how you threaten me now." Said Izuku. "How about we try this again. Let me tell you what happened, but we leave the guns out of this. Sound good to you?"

Uraraka narrowed her eyes, "Fine, just get the hell off of me."

Nodding Izuku let go of Uraraka's wrists and got off of her. The two then got up, Uraraka touched her wrists, "Oww, I knew you were strong but that actually hurt."

"Well yeah, I don't mess around. Especially with people who have quirks." Grunting Izuku grabbed his side. "Damn it, I opened up the wound again."

Walking over to the cabinet Uraraka once again got the medical supplies. "Sit down, let me see."

"I thought you didn't trust me anymore." Said Izuku.

"I'll decide that after I hear your explanation. Now sit." Taking a seat Izuku let Uraraka treat his wounds again. "Alright, go. I'm all ears."

"Well, as you probably guessed it's a bite mark from the zombies. I got it a few months ago, near the start of all of this. I was out on a supply run when I got ambushed by a quirker. The guy had some sort of energy manipulation quirk and managed to injure my leg. I killed him but as I was leaving one strangler got the jump on me. I pushed it off and killed it but it was already too late." Izuku then looked down.

"When it bit me I thought it was over. I knew it would be only a matter of time before I became one of those things. So I put a gun to my head. But just as I was going to pull the trigger something told me to stop. That instead of taking the easy way out I should just let it play out. So I did." Said Izuku. "I found a place in the building and just sat on the floor, waiting. I could feel the infection spreading but as I closed my eyes and slept for what I thought was my final time."

Izuku then turned to Uraraka, "Imagine my surprise when I actually woke up. I was confused beyond belief at the time. I thought, maybe the zombie didn't bite me deep enough. But the bite was enough to make me bleed, it was deep enough. For so long I thought to myself, Why am I alive? What makes me different from the others? That's when it hit me, you may not believe me but, I'm actually quirkless."

Uraraka's eyes widened, "You don't have a quirk?'

Izuku shook his head, "None whatsoever, I was born quirkless."

"Wow, to think a quirkless person is still alive. I thought without any powers you all would have died by now." explained Uraraka.

Izuku laughed, "When you put it that way you make us sound like some sort of endangered animal."

Uraraka was taken aback, "I-I didn't…"

"It's fine, I know you didn't mean it like that. But it's true, us quirkless people have a much less chance of survival. Live or die, that's all that's on everyone's mind nowadays." Said Izuku.

Uraraka was putting on a bandage wrap on Izuku when she finished up, "This secret, if one of the groups out there were to find out about you. They would use you to their advantage. People with strong quirks are always desired, but a person who can't get infected is beyond valuable."

"Lucky me." Said Izuku standing up. "Thanks for patching me up again."

"No problem. So, where do we go from here?" Asked Uraraka.

"I'd like to keep things how they used to be, but I get the feeling that's impossible now. You can still stay here if you want, it's up to you." Said Izuku.

"No, I'll stay." Answered Uraraka. "You did save my life back there so I owe you for that. Besides, I like it here."

Izuku smiled, "Glad to hear that."

"But I do have one thing I'd like to ask." Izuku stopped.

"Let's hear it first." Said Izuku. .

"Those scars, how did you get them?" Asked Uraraka

Izuku's heart stopped for a second, his scars started to hurt as those words played inside his mind. Clenching his fist Izuku looked away, "I-I don't want to say."

"Did someone do that to you?" Asked Uraraka, pressing the matter. But still Izuku refused to say, seeing that Izuku wouldn't budge, Uraraka backed away. "I asked because I noticed them when you got out of the shower. I heard horror stories of people getting abused by wanderers."

"Yeah I heard about them, but no, this wasn't them," said Izuku.

Uraraka nodded, "We'll leave it at that then. And don't worry about not telling me, I won't think less of you or trust you less. We all have secrets."

"Thanks, so, what do we do now?" asked Izuku.

"Now you rest. That wound will heal in about 10-14 days, but only if you stay put. So no moving around, we got some supplies while we were out but it still won't last us long. I'll go out on runs and see what I can find." Said Uraraka.

Izuku groaned as he stood up, "I should be fine to move around a bit, I'll go with you…"

That's when Uraraka pointed at Izuku, "Rest, now."

Feeling Uraraka's pressure, Izuku quickly laid back down on the bed. "Alright, alright, I'm resting." With that Uraraka walked out of the bus leaving Izuku to heal.

8 days had passed since Izuku's injuries and Uraraka was currently on a run in a nearby city. She left during the morning and now with the sun setting Izuku expected her to be back soon.

Izuku was currently walking outside his base checking on the traps he set up. Normally he would be resting but after some back and forth with Uraraka she allowed him to get up for a while everyday.

"That should do it. The traps are all good, no one is getting past these." Boasted Izuku. As he admired his work however, Izuku suddenly heard the sound of what he thought were cannon's firing.

Looking towards the direction of the city, Izuku narrowed his eyes, "That was close. Someone is in my city. I'll go see if they're friendly or not."

Running back to his base Izuku grabbed his AR-15 and sword and ran towards the sound. He would have grabbed his sniper rifle but the kick on it would reopen his wound.

Running several blocks down and making some turns Izuku got into a building and climbed up.

The building was 4 stories tall and when Izuku reached the top he held position. Leaning over the wall Izuku grabbed his binoculars and looked through them. There he found someone running away from a group of what appeared to be thugs. "Wanderers! Fuck, what are they doing here?"

Down on the street

The person being chased had on a black cloak that covered their head obstructing their face. "Where are you going sweetie? We just want to have some fun!" Yelled out one of the thugs chasing the cloaked figure.

The figure clenched their fist as they turned around suddenly. That's when multi colored sparks appeared from their arm and out appeared a small ball. Grabbing it in mid air the person then threw it at the thugs.

When the ball hit the ground a plume of black smoke covered the area. The thugs were now blinded by the smoke, "Damn it! I can't see a thing!" Yelled out one of the thugs.

As they all coughed and looked for a way out one of the thugs laughed, "I got this guys. A little smoke never slowed me down." Inhaling sharply from his mouth the thug began to inhale the black smoke.

Within a few seconds the once dark cloud of smoke had disappeared. "Nice work Vac, now we can get this one." But as the thugs turned, they found no one in front of them. "What? Where did they go!?"

The group of thugs all looked around, when one called out, "There!"

They all looked at the person to find them with their eyes glowing red. The person had some sort of optical locator quirk.

They all then turned to find the thug pointing down an alleyway. They all quickly ran towards it, but as they turned the corner one of the men was electrocuted by a wire that was attached to the wall.

"Don't let her get away!" Yelled out the thug leader as he transformed his arm into that of a reptile and ripped part of the wall out.

With the path now clear the group chased the person down the alley. Seeing them only a few meters away the leader smiled, "Now trapper!"

Jumping into the air one of the thugs activated his quirk. That's when two light rings appeared in his hands, using them he threw them at the girl.

As they approached the person they tried to activate their quirk again. Sparks did appear but nothing came out. That's when the rings open up and wrap themselves around the person, locking their arms and legs in place.

This caused the person to trip and fall, that's when the thugs appeared, "Finally we caught them."

Reaching down, the boss of the thugs grabbed the cloak and ripped it off the person. There bound by the light rings was a girl with a mature figure, long black hair, and black colored eyes. "Finally, you gave us a lot of trouble, girly. You and that half and half bastard, but my guys are dealing with him now. Right now it's about time I enjoy my catch."

The thug then reached out his hand in an effort to touch the girl but before his hand could even get close sparks appeared from the girl's head. That's when a spear appeared aimed at the leader's head, the thug saw it coming and tilted his head out of the way but that left the person behind him exposed.

The spear missed the leader but impaled one of his grunts through the chest, killing him instantly. "You bitch!" yelled the leader as he turned his attention back to the girl, but that's when he noticed.

The girl had a smirk on her face and several smoke bombs around her, "Pay back time."

The smoke bombs went off covering the alley in a thick green smoke, "You already tried this." said the man who saw through the smoke the first time. But as he was looking into the smoke he didn't find the girl. "She's gone!"

"What! How did she escape!?" yelled the leader as he tried to fan away the smoke.

"Your first mistake was following me into the alley, now there's only one way out. Meaning, you're all just where I want you." said the girl through the smoke. "Oh yeah, and that's not regular smoke. It's anesthetic gas, so no more blowing it away."

The thug leader covered his nose, "Don't breathe it in! Find the girl and take her down!"

The thug who could see through the smoke looked up and found her attached to the wall. "The bitch has a mask! And she's on the wall!" He yelled out.

But as he did the girl jumped at him, and with two swords she created the girl plunged them into the thugs head.

With one down the girl then went for the others. One by one the leader thug heard the sound of flesh being cut, pierced, and sliced, followed by the sound of bodies hitting the floor.

The girl thinking she had got them all created a massive fan and blew the smoke away. She then reached up and removed her mask, "Phew, that was exhausting, I'm at my limit. These guys were more trouble than I thought, but at least they won't be coming back to life."

"Aren't you forgetting someone?" Asked a voice behind the girl.

Turning the girl's eyes widened when two sharp claws slashed her legs. The girl fell to her knees in pain, "D-Damn it! I forgot one."

The thug leader smiled as he approached the girl, "Normally I don't like my toys damaged, but with you? I think I'll make an exception."

On her knees the girl tried to activate her quirk but as soon as the leader saw the sparks he stabbed into her shoulder. "Sorry, but I can't let you do that. Seems to me like you have to focus on what you want to create, but what happens when you can't focus?" Twisting the claws the girl let out a scream. "You can't create."

The thug then pulled his claws out and kicked the girl across the face. The kick was hard enough to push the girl back a few feet. Now reeling in pain on the floor the thug approached the girl and lifted her head. "Don't worry, I'll take real good care of you."

Pulling her head back the girl managed to headbutt the thug in the face shattering his nose. "Go fuck yourself."

The thug got up as blood ran down his nose, "Fuck! You bitch! I'll make you pay for that!"

Now more pissed off than anything else the thug reached out one more time for the girl. But as his hand got close a loud bang was heard.

"Huh? What the hell was that!" Yelled the thug as he looked around.

"Hey dumbass!" Yelled a voice from the roof. Both the thug and the girl looked up to see Izuku standing over the edge. "Aren't you a bit old for her?"

The thug growled, "Are you trying to die kid! There's a better way to do it!"

Izuku smiled, "Yeah, like yelling at the guy with an AR-15. I usually only kill the undead, so I'll give you one chance. Leave the girl alone."

"Fat chance!" That's when the thug leader noticed that Izuku looked young. "Say, why don't we both have some fun with her and go our separate ways? You stay out of my way, I stay out of yours?"

Izuku thought about it, "Well, I can't say that's not tempting. But, unfortunately for you, I'm not a piece of trash."

Pointing his gun at the thug, Izuku began to fire, causing bullets to rip through the air. With no way of stopping the bullets, the thug was pumped full of lead.

Emptying the entire clip into the thug Izuku stopped, "Fucken animal."

Jumping down Izuku landed on the alley below, "Hey, you alright?"

The girl still on the floor looked at Izuku, "Who are you? And what do you want?" That's when Izuku noticed a pistol in the girl's hand.

'She must have created it while I was talking.' Izuku put his hands up, "Easy, I'm not going to hurt you. But it looks to me like you need help, will you let me take a look?"

Not sensing any ill intent the girl nodded, "Fine, but do anything funny and I'll blow your brains out, got it?"

"I won't do anything but fine." Getting in close Izuku noticed the blood running down the girl's injuries. "These cuts, they are deep but it looks like he missed the vital veins so that's good. Let me just, damn it. I forgot my med kit back at base."

"Here, use this." Opening her hand the girl activated her quirk and out appeared some bandage wraps.

"Awesome, thanks." Said Izuku, grabbing the wrap. After making sure the bleeding had stooped, Izuku stood up, "Can you stand?"

With a little help from Izuku the girl managed to stand up. "Yeah, I should be able to walk." The girl tried taking a step but found that the injuries to her legs stopped her.

Izuku caught her and threw her arm around his shoulder, "Here I got you. There should be a safe place we can go. This place will be crawling with the undead after all that commotion."

The two then began to walk out of the alley, but as they turned to the corner they both immediately stopped. There, running towards them, was a large number of zombies. "Fuck. We have to hurry." Said Izuku. But as he looked back he knew that they wouldn't make it.

Turning and walking backwards, Izuku began to fire into the group. He managed to take down a few but that only slowed them down. "Can you make anything?" Asked Izuku.

"No, at least nothing that will stop them." Said the girl.

"Damn it!" Izuku continued to fire until he finally heard the clicking of the empty chamber.

The undead were now a few meters away from the two when out of nowhere a massive wall of ice appeared and froze every zombie in place. "Woah…who did that?" Izuku asked in disbelief.

The girl smiled as she knew who it was, but before she could answer a pillar of ice covered Izuku. This caused Izuku to be thrown up and frozen in mid air. "Get away from her." Said a voice.

"Todoroki!" Yelled the girl as a boy with half white hair and half red hair appeared.

The boy quickly ran at the girl,"Momo, are you alright? Those thugs didn't get you right?"

Momo nodded, "They managed to hurt me, but I fought them off. I thought I killed them all but one remained. I thought I was a goner, until he showed up. He saved me Todoroki, so let him go."

Todoroki turned towards Izuku, "He could have some ulterior motives." That's when Todoroki noticed who it was. "Isn't he…"

But before he could say anything else a shadow blanketed the area where Todoroki was standing. "Get the hell away from him!" A voice yelled out.

Looking up, Todoroki's eyes widened when he saw a whole bus falling towards him. Thinking fast Todoroki jumped back with the help of his ice and managed to get away. The bus crunched when it hit the floor, "Who the hell was that!?"

"That would be me," said a voice behind Todoroki. Turning around Todoroki was about to use his ice when he stopped.

Standing behind Momo, with her arm in a lock and a knife to her neck was Uraraka. "Momo!"

Todoroki took a step, "Come any closer and I'll slice her neck." Threatened Uraraka as she pressed the knife to Momo's neck enough to draw blood.

Momo yelped as she felt the cold metal, "Alright, alright. Just stop, what do you want?"

Uraraka motioned towards Izuku, "Let him go. Do that and I'll let her go."

Todoroki narrowed his eyes, "I could do that, but I can also freeze your friend to death and save her before you finish slicing her neck."

Uraraka gripped the knife tighter, "Care to test that?"

The two looked at each other almost as if they were daring each other to make the first move. However, that's when more trouble appeared, the ice Todoroki used to freeze the zombies suddenly shattered.

The four watched as the zombified giant hero Mount Lady appeared. The former hero let out a roar as it sent pieces of ice in every direction. As luck would have it one such piece hit the ice Izuku was trapped in and managed to break him free.

"Midoriya!" Yelled Uraraka as she let Momo go to run towards him. "You alright?"

Izuku shivered, "I'm fine, but we have bigger things to worry about."

That's when Mount Lady reached down and grabbed a car from the road. Pulling her arm back she threw it down towards the group.

"Look out!" Yelled Izuku as he and Uraraka jumped out of the way. With more cars flying at them there was little that could be done to stop them.

However, that's when a wall of ice appeared in front of them, shielding them from the cars. The two of them looked back to find Todoroki, "You?"

"Get back, I'll deal with her," said Todoroki. Slamming his hand onto the ground Todoroki activated his quirk and froze the ground, covering it in a blanket of ice.

Once the ice was in front of Mount Lady, Todoroki threw his arm up. This caused a massive ice spike to appear from the ground, aimed right for Mount Lady's head.

But just as it was about to hit the zombified hero grabbed the spike, stopping it from reaching her head. With a mighty roar the hero managed to break the ice and throw it back towards Todoroki.

Jumping out of the way the area was filled with a cold mist. "Shit, what do we do now?" Asked Uraraka.

Izuku thought about it, "I have an idea."

After explaining the plan to Uraraka, Izuku made his way towards Todoroki. "Hey! I got an idea, but I need your help."

Todoroki was busy keeping cars and busses from hitting them. "I'm a bit busy at the moment!"

"What do you need?" Asked Momo.

"We first have to distract it long enough for it to stop throwing cars. After that, Uraraka will use her quirk to stun her. That's when you'll take her down." Said Izuku.

"Can you distract her?" Asked Uraraka looking at Momo. "You used your quirk for too long right?'

Momo nodded, "I did, but I have one last good use before I'm done. I'll get you that distraction."

"Perfect, let's go then. Uraraka, once you see her move, hit her with the heaviest thing you can find." Said Izuku.

"Right!" Running off, Uraraka went to find something she could use.

That's when Momo activated her quirk, from her stomach a large cannon appeared. "One final strike!"

Pulling a string Momo fired off a cannonball toward the zombie hero. The cannon ripped through the icy mist. The shot managed to hit the giant zombie in the leg causing it to fall to one knee.

Izuku knew that this was it, "Now Uraraka!"

Jumping towards the zombie, Uraraka carried what appeared to be a 6x6 cargo truck. "Take this!" She yelled out as she swung the truck like it was nothing.

The massive 2 and a half ton truck slammed against the side of Mount Lady's head causing her to fall to the ground. "Finish it off!" Yelled Izuku.

Once again Todoroki activated his quirk and made several ice spikes appear from the ground. Still stunned after the attack the once proud hero stood no chance as the spikes pierced her head.

Coming out from the back of her head the tips of the spikes had blood dripping down them. With the hero now dead the group now stood looking at her, "Did that do it?" Asked Uraraka.

Izuku nodded, "Yeah, that did it. So now that that's done, where does that leave us?"

The two then turned towards Todoroki and Momo. Momo was barely able to stand, let alone speak but she did anyway. "I-If it's alright with you. We'd like to rest for a bit, somewhere safe."

Izuku raised an eyebrow, "You mean our place?"

That's when Uraraka stepped forward, "No way! You'd think we'd just let you in, that guy almost killed Midoriya."

"And you didn't do the same with Momo?" Asked Todoroki. "You had a knife to her neck, or did you forget that?"

"She did that to save me, none of that would have happened if you listened to her." Said Izuku. "Even after I saved her, you should be thanking me."

Todoroki narrowed his eyes, "What did you say?" Moving forward Todoroki had ice appear from his forearm.

Uraraka put her guard up and reaching down she touched a bunch of rocks, causing them to float beside her. Izuku put his hand on his sword, ready to strike if it came down to it.

But before anyone could move Momo stepped forward, "Todoroki, stop that's enough. He saved me from those thugs. If it wasn't for him I could be dead." She then turned towards Izuku. "Thank you for saving me, I know it's hard to trust complete strangers, but please, hear...us….out…."

As she was finishing that sentence Momo suddenly collapsed. "Momo!" Rushing towards her Todoroki held her. "Hey, come on, wake up. What's wrong?"

Walking over Izuku looked at Momo, "Those injuries, combined with the overuse of her quirk. Her body is weak right now, so she's in real danger right now."

Todoroki looked at Izuku, "Please, help her. I can't lose her."

"She really means that much to you huh?' asked Izuku.

Todoroki nodded, "More than anything in this world. You have to know what that feels like right?"

Izuku turned back towards Uraraka, "I guess I do." He then looked at Todoroki. "Fine, we'll help you. We have medical supplies back at our base, but I can't let you in just like that. I still don't trust you, so I'll have Uraraka carry you two blindfolded towards our base. Once there, we'll help her, but you will have to be cuffed. Agreed?"

"Yes, fine! Just help her." Said Todoroki with desperation in his voice.

After blind folding Todoroki, Izuku and Uraraka took them back to their base. Since he was floating and blinded, Todoroki couldn't tell what way they took to get there or if there were any traps.

Once at the base Uraraka deactivated her quirk and quickly got Momo into the bus to treat her. Todoroki followed but before he stepped inside, Izuku stopped him. "Remember our deal?"

Putting his hand up Todoroki allowed himself to be cuffed. After an hour of treating Momo, she recovered enough that she was now out of danger but still needed time to recover. Feeling a wave of relief hit him, Todoroki fell to his knees. "Thank you, thank you so much."

After knowing that she would be okay, Izuku offered some food to Todoroki. Sitting around the fire Izuku removed the cuffs but had his rifle by his side.

"Listen," said Todoroki. "About what I said. I'd like to apologize for that. I was speaking out of anger."

"It's fine, I get it. Times are tough, and we all have something we want to keep or protect." Said Izuku. "So, why is she so special?"

Todoroki put down his plate, "She was there for me back when it all went to hell."

"I see, girlfriend?" asked Izuku.

"I guess you can say that, but I would say more bodyguard than anything." explained Todoroki.

Izuku raised an eyebrow, "Bodyguard? What was she a princess before the world went to hell?"

Todoroki smirked, "Actually, in a way she was. Let me explain."

AN: Dun DUN DUN! Todoroki and Momo are now in the story! But how did they end up together? What will them joining Izuku and Uraraka mean for future events? Most of you already guessed why Izuku is immune, it was pretty obvious, but that's not all I'm going to do with it. Something will happen to Izuku down the line that I think you'll like. Theories are welcomed, so write them down. In the meantime I will see you all in the next chapter stay safe!
