Night had started coming down unto Rio, the streetlights were on as attention was being drawn onto one house. As Ross and his secretary were inspecting Banner's home, Blonsky made his presence known by placing Banner's backpack down, drawing their attention, "I knew something was different before I got the shot off. He had it on him when he bolted." The soldier declared.

The secretary took out and started up the laptop, she also took out the newspaper article. Quickly piquing Blonsky's attention, he took it and inspected it. "Is that a girlfriend? She helps him, maybe?" he asked while showing Ross the picture.

Ross took and inspected the picture, giving it an inquisitive look, before folding it up and casting it aside. "She is no longer a factor. We closed that door to him a long time ago. He's alone." He explained to Blonsky, who still looked like he was trying to make sense of what had just happened.

"That was a strange look." Weiss noted.

"Oh, no! Please don't tell me they killed that girl?!" Ruby said.

"Wait, that's the girl from the beginning who was put in the hospital. She's connected to Banner AND Ross somehow." Jaune said.

"You're on the right track, Vomit Boy." Katana told him.

"He wants to be alone. But see if he's been talking to anybody." He then instructed the woman before continuing to look around and inspect the place, Blonsky never taking his eyes off the man even after he finished talking. His face showing that he knew that there was more to this than the general let on.

Just as the general was inspecting the rope, Blonsky decided that he wanted/needed answers and got his attention, "Forgive me, sir?" He spoke up and Ross turned to him.

"Doesn't anybody want to talk about what went down in there? Cause...", He began, never leaving the general out of his sight. "He didn't lose us. And he was not alone, sir. We had him." He spoke. Ross was now giving him his utmost attention. "And then something hit us, something..." He elaborated while shaking his head and stopping to get his thoughts in order, still not quite sure about what he had just experienced. "Something BIG hit us!" His voice was starting to gain a bit of an edge. The general said nothing, only giving the distraught soldier a sidelong glance.

"He knows everything and he's refusing to tell him. He's a disgrace to his rank." Ironwood growled.

"Easy, James. I don't like him either, but you're going to blow a gasket or something with how mad he's getting you." Qrow advised the general. Sure, they bumped heads and rarely saw eye to eye, but they knew they were on the same side.

"And no one can make him stop? Like a higher up general or something?" Blake asked.

"It threw a forklift truck like it was a softball!" Blonsky then exclaimed, showing just how much the experience got to him. All the while Ross remained silent, he just stood there listening to Blonsky's ranting.

"It was the most powerful thing I've ever seen." He then got out once he had calmed down enough.

After staying there doing nothing, while looking down, Ross finally broke his silence, "Well it's gone." Was all he said.

Blonsky looked like he wasn't satisfied with the answer, or that he even liked it, "Well, if Banner knows what it is," He began, "I'm gonna track him down, I'm gonna put my foot on his throat and I'm gonna..."

"That was Banner." Ross got out, stopping him mid rant.

"Well, if there were any doubts before, they're gone now." Weiss said.

"Yeah. So, what was that about putting your foot on his throat?" Yang asked with a smirk, betting the answer changed REAL quick now.

"He'll definitely get that leg broken! Or maybe even ripped off!" Nora declared with an evil smile.

Blonsky just stood there, confused and with his mouth open.

Sensing his confusion, Ross got closer, "It was Banner." he repeated.

"You have to explain that statement, sir." Blonsky asked.

"No, I don't." Ross refused.

"Yes, you do! I need to know!" Ren declared, surprisingly enough. He then blushed and looked at everyone. "Sorry. I just really wish I knew the story." He explained.

"Do not worry, friend Ren! I am curious as well as to why Bruce is able to turn into a hulking green monster." Penny stated.

"That's a bit harsh, Penny. His appearance may be a bit intimidating and he's certainly capable of great damage, but he merely wishes to be left alone, as he stated when the guards attacked him. He was merely looking for an escape before they open fired upon him." Glynda reminded the gynoid, who looked down sadly.

Blonsky then adopted a small smile of understanding. "You've done a good job." Ross said as he made his way out of the building. "Pack up and get our men on a plane. We're going home." he ordered.

Blonsky, looking unsatisfied, then just gave up, knowing that he won't be getting more out of the general, at least for now. Said general was then shown outside as he looked towards the distance. The scene then transitioned to a look of the Favelas as the camera zoomed out.

"Why can't he just give up?" Velvet asked, wishing the general would leave Bruce alone.

"He's like my father. He sees what Bruce is as an asset. And if it's an asset, it must belong to him." Winter explained, Weiss nodding sadly.

"I'd refuse to help unless he explained the situation more. And even then, I might refuse because they're hunting a man who simply wants to be alone." Pyrrha stated.

"Unfortunately, Miss Nikos, that would be refusing orders and likely considered going rogue or AWOL. Which is not tolerated in any army." Ozpin stated.

The scene then transitioned into an aerial focus of a mist-covered rainforest. A waterfall was then shown inside said forest and on a nearby rock was Banner, changed back and with a worried and confused expression on his face as he looked around to figure out where he was while trying to keep his pants, stretched and ruined beyond repair, from falling to protect what remains of his modesty.

DAYS WITHOUT INCIDENT: 1

"Well, at the very least we now know what they mean when they say 'incident'." Jaune got out, though he didn't look all that happy about it, something that was shared by everyone in the room.

Well, almost everyone.

"Incident's right! Going on a full-blown RAMPAGE!? Sign-me up!" Nora happily proclaimed, getting a few looks from everyone in the audience.

Ren sighed, "Sorry about her, out of all of us her desire for breaking things is the highest in the academy." he apologized for her. [1]

"It's ok Ren, I myself also like to break a few things from time-to-time to blow off steam." Vein responded with a small smile.

Katana then looked at him with a smirk and a look of small incredulity, "A few? Are you sure you're not missing a couple of things Mister 'God of Mayhem' and 'Lord of Pandemonium?'" she then 'asked' while quoting with her fingers.

To hearing this, everyone then gave Vein an incredulous look, with Nora being the only one having what could be described as a sparkle of awe and even worship.

To this he just shrugged his shoulders, "What can I say, that was a long time ago. And I'll admit that I was a bit 'wilder' during those days." he admitted, but then gave Katana an equally questioning look with both a knowing smirk and a raised eyebrow, "Though I don't think that you are in any position to point fingers. Isn't that right miss 'Mistress of Havoc' or do you prefer 'Goddess of Chaos'?"

To that, she just barked a bit and raised her hands in mock surrender, her smile growing more humorous, "Alright, you got me there."

Listening to this exchange, the others couldn't help but worry and grow more insecure about their hosts. All the while teams RWBY and JNPR silently vowed that they should keep Nora as FAR away from their shenanigans as possible, with the aforementioned hammer-wielder swearing that she'll get herself involved with their shenanigans if it's the last thing she'll do. [2]

He was then shown walking around, trying to find either shelter or a clue as to his location, until he came across a road with a car approaching. He quickly made his way to the road to try and get a ride from the person in the car.

"Can you help me." He pleaded to the driver.

"I don't speak Portuguese." The driver replied in Spanish.

"Uh, why is he speaking in another language? Aren't they still in Brazil?" Velvet asked, by the looks of things it seemed that everyone in the audience had the same question.

It took a moment, but Ozpin figured it out and could only look at the man in sympathy, "That poor fellow."

This got the attention of the Ozlluminati, "Care to fill us in on the issue?" asked Qrow.

"Just keep watching, I believe that they'll explain it in a minute." was all Ozpin said.

Surprised and a bit confused, Banner frowned and asked in English, "Where am I?" only to later shake his head and tried again in Spanish, "Where am I?" He tried one last time.

"Guatemala," The driver answered before later pointing forward, "I'm going to the next town." He told him.

Sensing the impending question, Katana got her phone out, "Guatemala, or rather the Republic of Guatemala as it is officially known, is a country in Central America bordered by Mexico to the north and west, Belize and the Caribbean to the northeast, Honduras to the east, El Salvador to the southeast and the Pacific Ocean to the south." she read from her phone.

Vein then further simplified, "In other words, it's like he went to sleep in patch that night, only to wake up in Vytal the next morning."

This got everyone by surprise. "Are you telling me that he went THAT far in a single night!?" Blake asked in a state of small shock, not believing what she had just heard, something that the others shared.

Ozpin, on the other hand, just continued to give Banner his sympathies. As a reincarnator, he knew just what he was going through as he himself has had to experience the same thing every time he died and came back. [3]

Banner gazed over to where the driver was pointing with an uneasy look on his face. Then, as if he had made a tough decision, he pleaded, "Will you help me?" The driver agreed and let Banner in. Noticing that he was freezing, he gave Banner a blanket he had with him.

As he drove, he asked Banner where he was going, to which he just said, "Home."

The scene then changed to a military base, where a transport plane was just touching down. Blonsky and General Ross were shown entering a hallway, in their formal military uniforms, having a conversation. "I've run into bad situations on crap missions before." Blonsky began, "I've seen good men go down purely because someone didn't let us know what we were walking into. I've moved on to the next one, because that's what we do, right? I mean that's the job." He stated.

"No, it's your job to be informed of exactly what you're going into before you enter the battlefield. It is up to your superior to provide you with that knowledge. Failure to do so is criminal negligence and would result in court martial!" Ironwood ranted.

"And that's being a bad leader and dragging your men down with you. That's bad!" Ruby declared.

"That fact he's had to do those multiple times is concerning. Losing his comrades is already bad enough, but losing them due to a lack of intel would likely lead to issues trusting his superiors, which we've already seen as he subtly demanded answers from the general. So, who knows how else these negative missions have affected him? All I can say is it can't be good." Winter said in concern.

"But this?" He and the general then stopped, "This is a whole new level of weird." He told him.

"Yeah, that's definitely one way to put it!" Yang laughed.

"Then again, that seems to be par for the course in this universe." Blake added.

"Still, a regular nerdy-looking guy like him turning into that hunk of a Hulk. Nobody would see that coming." Coco added.

"And I don't feel inclined to step away from it. So, if you're taking another crack at him, I want in. And, with respect, you should be looking for a team that's prepped and ready for a fight, because if that thing shows up again, you're gonna have a lot of professional tough guys pissing in their pants." He warned, then finished with a stern look and an equally stern voice, "Sir." He said.

"Ugh. How disgusting. There's plenty of other ways he could have explained the situation." Weiss said.

"Still, he's not wrong. That situation got crazy and those men were definitely not prepared for that." Jaune told the heiress.

"Yeah! I'm surprised Jaune, Ruby and Velvet didn't wet themselves!" Nora laughed, getting indignant glares from the three mentioned students.

The scene then changed to show that Banner had arrived at the town the driver was headed just as night was starting to settle in.

CHIAPAS - MEXICO

The next day he was then shown to be sitting down while leaning against a street lamp at what seemed like a local market, with his hands stretched out, begging for money. A child who walked past earlier gave him some money then returned to his mother. Banner just glanced at the kid's direction with a thankful expression on his face.

The audience was touched by that scene, some of them even cried.

"It is always good to see that, even in another dimension, there will always be a kind soul here and there willing to help those in need." was Ozpin's statement, a sentiment shared by everyone present.

The scene then hanged to an overview of the market, with Banner, now dressed, in front of a stall asking for clothes. When he was given what appeared to be some pants, he gave them a once over, until he noticed a rather 'large' woman beside him and used her behind to further inspect the pants. After confirming their size, he went back to the vendor and asked for a much stretchier pair, which he received and was grateful for.

This got just about everyone in the audience laughing, even those who thought that it was rude to use that lady as a means to check out the creature's size.

"Trust me Bruce when I say, that you're going to need even stretchier pants." suggested Qrow once he got his humor in check.

He is then seen hunched over and resting. However, once a motorcycle passed by the sound caused him to recall his encounter with the commandos, snapping him awake and then decided to continue moving. He was last seen walking up a light forested trail.

Upon seeing this, the audience got a bit worried.

The scene then changed back to the military base, with Blonsky sitting on a chair as if he was waiting for someone. The door next to him then opened and General Ross was seen on the other side, who then ushered him in and closed the door behind them.

The scene then changed to show the both of them having a conversation while through a hangar. "Let me emphasize that what I'm about to share with you is tremendously sensitive, both to me personally and the Army." Ross began to explain, "You're aware that we've got an Infantry Weapons Development program. Well, in WWII, they initiated a subprogram for Bio-Tech Force Enhancement." He elaborated.

"Yeah, Super Soldier." Was Blonsky's response.

"Super Soldiers? That sounds interesting." Ironwood said.

"No." Katana and Vein declared together, already knowing what the general was thinking.

"At least we're finally getting the story behind what happened to Banner." Winter stated.

The two then stopped, with the General turning to look at him with the atmosphere around them shifting a bit, "Yes. An oversimplification, but yes." Ross confirmed, "And I dusted it off, got 'em doing serious work again, bold work." He told the younger soldier.

"Across the hall, they were trying to arm you better. We were trying to make you better." He then finished as they moved on.

They continued talking in another part of the hangar, "Banner's work was very early phase. It wasn't even weapons application. He thought he was working on radiation resistance. I would never have told him what the project really was." Ross then decided to take a seat in a nearby pilot seat, "But he was so sure of what he was onto, that he tested it on himself. And something went very wrong. Or it went very right." He explained.

"So, they tricked him into working on a weapons project. Atrocious." Pyrrha said.

"That does not seem legal at all." Penny noted.

"But what's radiation resistance?" Qrow questioned.

"To make things simple, radiation is something that, depending on the type and category, can be quite harmful - if not deadly - to people, especially when exposed to a lot of it for extended periods of time." Katana explained.

Vein then continued, "And the effects can be quite serious with negative physical and/or psychological alterations at the very best and death at the worst."

Upon hearing this, the audience could only show faces of shock at such descriptions, faces that then turned to furious as they then focused on Ross.

As he talked, Blonsky was giving the general his rapt attention. "As far as I'm concerned, that man's whole body is the property of the US army." Ross explained.

"You said he wasn't working on weapons, right?" Blonsky then asked.

"No." The general confirmed.

"But you were. You were, weren't you? You were trying other things." Blonsky then elaborated.

"One serum we developed was very promising." Ross once again confirmed.

"And that's what Banner tested on himself?" Ruby asked.

"That seems to be what we're led to believe." Blake confirmed.

Blonsky just had to know, "So why did he run?" He asked.

"He's a scientist. He is not one of us." Was all Ross said as he got up and began to walk away. He then stopped and looked at the soldier, "Blonsky, how old are you? 45?" He asked.

"39." He corrected.

"It takes a toll, doesn't it?" Ross asked with what looked and sounded like sympathy.

"Yes, it does." Blonsky agreed.

"Age comes for all of us. Eventually, we have to stop and realize we can't keep doing what we used to." Ironwood admitted.

"Well, it depends on how well you take care of yourself, I suppose. Just because you've hit 50 doesn't necessarily mean that you can't fight anymore." Ren stated.

"Yeah! You should've seen my grandma! That woman was 75 and she could juggle Ursa Majors! She was scary strong!" Nora declared.

"So, get out of the trenches. You should be a Colonel by now, with your record." The general advised.

Blonsky denied it, "No, I'm a fighter. I'll be one for as long as I can." Was his reasoning.

He then thought of something and approached the general, "You know, if I could take what I know now, put it in the body I had ten years ago, that would be someone I wouldn't want to fight." He explained.

"We all wish we could go back to our prime with the wisdom we've gained when we passed it." Glynda said, Ironwood and Qrow nodding in agreement.

"I've actually done that several times. It is quite useful." Ozpin admitted.

"Well, good for you! We're not all that lucky!" Qrow snapped in annoyance, the other two agreeing with him as well.

After a moment of thinking and self-debate, Ross answered, "I could probably arrange something like that." Though it was subtle, Blonsky liked what he heard.

"I don't like the look he had when he heard that." was Jaune's response, a sentiment that was shared by both the resident faunus and Ruby.

"While it may be a bit disturbing, I'll admit, I find myself more concerned with what Ross meant when he said that he could 'arrange something'." Winter agreed while voicing her own thoughts.

It took a while, but eventually the Ozlluminati figured it out. "The serum." Ozpin breathed out.

"He plans to use it on Blonsky to give him a leg up for the next encounter." Glynda further declared.

"So THAT's what he meant." finished Qrow.

The others heard this and were surprised by the thought of the general even considering to use such a thing after seeing what it did to Banner. Wanting to know more, they then turned to the one man with enough knowledge on the subject to help them confirm their suspicions.

"Forgive for asking this, but is that even allowed?" Blake asked the resident general.

It took a while, but after a moment of self-debate, Ironwood just sighed and went on to explain, "According to standard procedure, and given under normal circumstances, such a serum would be locked up tight under the best of security. As for whether or not it can be used, if this were Atlas, and seeing what the first sample did to Banner, then such a request would be shut-down the minute it was thought up, at least until further testing is conducted to ensure that its use is both safe and without any side-effects." He then bent forward to rest his head on his hands while adopting a thinking pose, "However, seeing as this aren't your average normal circumstances, then the higher-ups will have no choice but to approve of its use, and even THEN, they'll only allow it so long as a certain amount of safety precautions are placed in event to monitor the subject and intervene the moment it becomes obvious that things are going to turn south."

"In other words, think of it as playing cards." Vein then decided to help the general out with the explanations, "The Hulk is the other player and the serum is the 'wild-card' in your hands, but even then, said card is the type that one should keep close to the chest and ONLY use as an act of last resorts should all other options fail."

"However, whether or not said act of last resort will even work is anybody's guess." Katana then finished.

To hearing this, everyone in the audience adopted a look of contemplation. After seeing what happened to the first team that went after Banner, they knew that it was going to take more than that to get the job done, but after hearing that the serum in question was what turned Banner into such a creature, they found themselves asking if it was worth the risk of using it, regardless of whether or not this one was an improved version.

In the end, they decided that they should just continue to see the answers for themselves. Once she got the okay Katana resumed the movie.

And here it is! The latest chapter of the story. It is a lot sooner than last time so forgive us; it was a bit of a rushed job. And for those thinking of giving us a hard time, DON'T! EVEN! THINK ABOUT IT!

[1] For those familiar with RWBY, come on this is Nora we're talking about.

[2] Again, this, is, NORA!

[3] For those who like stories with reincarnation as the theme, you should know what he's talking about.

Well, this is it for now, sorry about the short chapter, but like in movies and even some books there are bound to be a few long and short segments/chapters here and there. Well, I'll try to get the next on up and running soon. Just don't rush us.

Till next time, this is Vein Bloodborne, signing off.
