The scene began with Bruce taking out anything and everything inside Betty's purse, which he then tossed to the side once he was done with it. "Basically, we can't use any of this, because they can track all of it."

To that she just gave the pile a quizitive look, "Well, my lip gloss, can they track that?"

To this he just looked at the pile like he was thinking of something, before handing the gloss over to her, "No, you can take your lip gloss."

Which she accepted, "Thank you."

As she was applying the gloss she added, "Well, I need my glasses."

To this he just shook his head while going into the pile, "Well, you can take your glasses and your watch, okay? We can use most of it, we just can't use the credit cards, ID or phone."

"Don't even turn that on." He warned, which she accepted.

Many in the audience found the thing with the glasses and the lip gloss to be rather humorous, however, those who knew a lot about either the military and/or being on the run gave the scene their outmost attention.

"Can they really track all of it?" Ruby asked once she got her laughter in control.

"I'm afraid so," Ironwood began to explain, "while the range may be somewhat limited due to the lack of resources Remnant currently has, it is possible to track the signature of devices such as scrolls and, by extension, the people using them."

"It's one of the reasons as to why not many people in the White Fang use scrolls," Blake decided to throw in her two cents, "the few who actually used them were either using stolen, disposable, or even modified, untraceable ones from the Black Market." [1]

"And we'll take the cash, obviously." he got out as he took the money.

To which she just had to ask, "How are we gonna to get to where we need to go on $40 and no credit card?"

"The answer: you're not!" snarked Qrow. Despite not liking the attitude, everyone in the room agreed with the former drunk.

He just looked down at that, trying to figure out a way to do what is essentially impossible. Before he could come up with a plan though, Betty already seemed to have one, "Well, we could sell this." she got out while showing the necklace she had on her neck.

To this Banner tried to refuse, "No. No, that's the only thing you have left from her. No."

After looking at the necklace for a bit, she then gave him a resolute look, "Well, we'll have to try and get it back."

After about a second, he gave up and accepted.

"What did he mean by 'her'?" Ruby asked, despite having an idea about it deep down.

Her suspicions were confirmed by, surprisingly, the 'vampire' Vein, "That necklace is a memento." His face and tone somber, "It's all she has left of her mother."

This revelation surprised all in attendance, Yang specifically, "Wait, that's all she has left of her mother? And she's SELLING it?!" To say that she was shocked would be an understatement, "Why would she give away something so precious and important like that?" A feeling that was shared by lots of people, especially those who've either lost their family or feel like they'll never see them again.

To this he just let out a tired sigh, "Because, in the end, you can only chose one of two things in this world." He then brought up his hands to further elaborate, "You can either chose to continue to cling to a past that's never coming back or you can move on from it and chose to walk towards a future that's currently attainable and that only comes once."

"Don't lose what you have to get back what you had.[2] In the end, to Betty, her love for Bruce and her desire to help him get a better future was just much stronger and more important than a memory from a time that'll never come back." Katana finished the lesson, giving her friend a look of sadness, knowing just what it was that he had lost in order to become what he is.

After yet another bout of surprisingly sage like advice from people who don't look like the type, the rest of the audience took a moment to process what exactly was said, with various reactions.

For Yang, it was like what had happened years ago, when she nearly got herself and Ruby almost killed by Grimm because she got obsessed with finding her mother. After that, she swore that she wouldn't allow her quest for answers to blind and lead her astray again. For Ren and Nora, they couldn't help but remember what they had lost during the attack on their village, but all it took was a small, subtle glance at each other to remember what they had gained since then. For Weiss and Winter, it was the memory of how things were like with their family before their father's greed ruined everything, with Weiss glancing at her team and Winter at her sister, both Schnee daughters then swore that not only will they do their best to repair the damage Jacques had done to their legacy, but to also protect the happiness that they've acquired since leaving him. And as for Blake, she couldn't help but think back to her parents in Menagerie, of how she left them on rather tense terms, along with the people she had met both during her stay and after leaving the White Fang. While she still felt rather fearful of what may happen in the future, all it took was a single glance around the whole room to remember both what she had gained since then as well as the word their patrons had spoken both recently and earlier. As such, despite feeling fearful of what may come in the future, she resolved herself to improve and to move forward, and she would start by calling her parents first once they've returned.[3]

With a spark ignited in their hearts, they all steeled themselves for the rest of the movie.

The scene then changed to that of a meeting room with all manner of people from both military and intelligence agencies sitting around a conference table with drinks and laptops showing them currently indescribable data. All of their attention, however, was being directed to the other side of the room, where Cabot and General Ross were discussing with everyone what was going on and who they were dealing with. On the screens in the back of the room you can see pictures and data on both Bruce and Betty.

"And now he's using his own daughter to try and find Bruce. It's like every scene he's in makes him even more deplorable and makes you want to hate him even more." Ren said, struggling to contain his anger, a rarity for the boy which only proves how much of a monster Ross is when compared to his quarry.

"If that's true, it's definitely working for me. Nora, forget breaking his legs, I think I'd cut them off at this point." Jaune grumbled darkly. Pyrrha placed a hand on his leg, but it was clear from the glare she was sending to the screen, she felt the same way.

"Federals are already monitoring phones, plastic and Dr. Ross' web accounts. And local P.D. Have been placed on alert." Cabot began the briefing, "They'll pop up somewhere and when they do it comes straight to us."

"I hate that this madman has this kind of resources and power at his disposal. It's not right." Pyrrha stated.

"Sadly, Miss Nikos, there are many instances where someone comes into power that they should never have. General Ross and Jacques Schnee would be the perfect examples. No offense to you girls, of course." Glynda said, casting a quick glance to the Schnee sisters at the end, who simply nodded in understanding.

General Ross then decided to add in his two cents, "They're not just gonna pop up. He made it 5 years and got across borders without making any mistakes. He's not gonna use a damn credit card now."

"Oh, please tell me they use a credit card!" Yang said.

"It would be highly inadvisable, but I'm willing to put up with anything that makes Ross look like more of an ass." Weiss declared.

"I would normally discipline you for such language, sister, though for this man, it's more than justified." Winter stated. [4]

The scene then changed to show the two of them in a shop, with Betty over by the counter doing some sort of transaction while Bruce was working on the computer. All the while Ross continue the briefing off-screen.

"If he was trying to escape, he'd be long gone. He's not trying to escape this time, he's looking for help. And that's how we're going to get him." Bruce placed the drive in the computer to begin a file transfer using a regular e-mail to send them to Mr. Blue, "We know what they're after. And we know that he's been taking to somebody. You'll have copies of the correspondence."

As he transferred the data, he left Mr. Blue a message: "Mr. Blue. Here's the data. It's time to meet. -Mr. Green." Once he was done with the transfer and the computer, he took the drive and left the building. "The aliases Mr. Green and Mr. Blue have been added to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Operations database. If he comes up for air, we'll be waiting. If he makes a peep we'll hear him. And when he slips up, we'll be ready."

The scene then began to zoom in on the computer till it showed the inside of the web, with the message being shown going deep into it's depths, just as the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo materialized.

Zooming in on the logo, it was then revealed to be comprised of multiple messages from text to e-mails from all over the world. The system followed the message Banner had sent, till it caught up to it and then began to run an analysis of the email address. After a bit of searching, the results came in.

Back at the base, where various personnel from both the military and the F.B.I. were working on looking for both Banner and Betty, Cabot was seen in one of the desks doing research on her own, till her computer let her know that the S.H.I.E.L.D. database had found something. When she looked it up, she saw that the system had found a match:

Dr. Samuel Sterns from Dept. of Cell Biology of Grayburn University in New York City. On one side was his picture (a dark-haired Caucasian) while in the other was his position in the city.

They've all groaned at this, "Great, now they know where to find Blue, all that's left is to set up a trap and wait for when they arrive and, before you know it..." Qrow began.

"Something happens that sets Bruce off again..." Ruby continued.

"Leading to yet another 'incident'..." Nora followed up with an eye-roll and air quote.

"Only this time it'll be in the middle of what could be described as one of the world's most populated of cities," Blake finished it, sounding worried as she spoke, "and with who knows how many civilians present to get caught in the cross-fire."

With all that said and done, the audience returned their attention to the screen, each one of them hoping that thing wouldn't escalate to that point.

The scene changed to that of an old pick-up truck on sale for $25, or it was until Bruce went up to it and removed the sign, revealing himself as the new owner. Betty came up to him with a camera and got him to pose for a bit before she took his picture. The two of them then left the station with Betty behind the wheel.

They've been driving for a while and the sky was starting to get dark. Everything was quiet, until Betty decided to break it with a question, "What is it like?" When he just shifted positions and said nothing, she clarified, "When it happens, what do you experience?"

After about a second, Bruce turned to her and began to talk, "Do you remember those experiments we volunteered for at Harvard? Those induced hallucinations?"

She gave him a glance before returning to the road, "It's a lot like that. It's a thousand times amplified." He continued to explain, all the while he tried to remember what the experience was like, "It's like someone's poured a litre of acid into my brain."

Upon hearing this, many in the audience paled at the description that Banner had given Betty.

"Dear lord, to think that this man has been going through such excruciating pain for so long, I don't know how anyone can retain their sanity for as long as he has." Glynda couldn't help but comment.

A comment that Ozpin followed up, "Yet another reason as for why he desires to find a cure for his affliction. For as strong as his will might be, I fear that even he himself doubts that he can, as you folks say nowadays, 'keep it together for much longer'."

"Hence why he's seeking the cure right now." It was Ren's turn to speak his thoughts, "Him, 'keeping it together' for as long as he had is what's kept the Hulk's destruction limited to a few ruined buildings and some dead, or maimed soldiers."

"And once he finally loses it..." Jaune didn't need to finish his sentence, because everyone in the audience, except for the two outworlders, knew where he was going, and to say that they didn't like where it was going would be an understatement.

She glanced at him while driving, "Do you remember anything?"

He frowned as he tried to remember, "Just fragments, images. There's too much noise, I can never derive anything out of it."

"But then it's still you inside it." Betty tried to look at the positive.

But Banner didn't see it that way, "No, it's not."

After a second, she tried to continue with her idea, "I don't know. In the cave, I felt like it really knew me." Banner just adopted a look of contemplation, "Maybe your mind is in there. It's just overcharged and can't process what's happening." She theorized.

"Huh, so it's like he got drunk and once the effects wore off he could barely remember what happened the other night." Qrow stated rather than questioned and, while many in the audience didn't like how he got that comparison, they couldn't help but admit that it was quite the reasonable explanation. Especially for a certain reincarnator, who might have gone through a similar experience once or twice.

But Banner knew where she was going an quickly stopped it, "I don't wanna control it. I wanna get rid of it." His tone and the look he gave her signified the end of that discussion.

After sparing him one final glace, longer than the others, she went back to the road. After that, the two of them continued the trip in silence.

The scene changed back to the base, to the infirmary where one could both see and hear the sounds and tools for an operation. The camera then moved to show Blonski with his shirt off and looking at the equipment, looking ready to undergo the procedure from before once again. Behind him, Ross had just entered the building and asked as he stood by the soldier's side.

"Th-they're redoing the procedure?! Are they insane?!" Velvet cried out.

"They can't! He's already way beyond what he should be, if they do this again, they could make something WORSE than the Hulk." Blake said, equally fearful.

"I don't know who's more insane: Blonski for agreeing to this, or Ross for okaying it." Coco stated, glaring at both of them.

"He's becoming desperate, his throwing any last restraint or cautions he had to the wind to capture Banner. He's getting tunnel vision with the Hulk and losing sight of what he's doing! He is a danger to all the men under his service and he should be taken off this mission." Ironwood said furiously.

"You ready?"

Right off the bat and without hesitation, "Let's even the playing field a little."

The two then moved to the section where the procedure will take place just as one doctor prepared the table.

"Gentlemen?" was all Blonski got out before another doctor closed the curtains.

"So, who wants to bet this is gonna end horribly?" Qrow asked, although there was no humor to his tone. He knew beyond a doubt that this was perhaps the most foolish thing Ross could still do.

"No one's foolish enough to take that bet. It's guaranteed to go wrong at this point." Winter stated, not even angry at Qrow's comment, only watching in anticipation as a sense of dread washed over her entire body.

The scene started with the memory of the flaming gun-ship coming towards someone, but before it could reach them Banner woke up to Betty calling him while hearing lots of honking off into the distance.

"There's something going on." she let him know as he looked forward.

He got out a bit to get a better look and he did not like what he saw: the roads appeared to be closed, with an sign stating the official reason, "BE PREPARED TO STOP, ROADWORK AHEAD".

A bit further ahead one could see police officers interviewing and interrogating all the passing drivers.

"Let me guess, another 'standard' military procedure?" Yang rhetorically asked, already knowing the answer by now.

Ironwood just sighed, "I'm afraid so. Now that both Banner AND Miss Ross have been recognized as terrorists, and the man or place they'll go next having been identified, the next logical step the military can take to stop them from 'wreaking' more chaos unto the population is to close off the city's borders and set up a mandatory inspection of everybody going in and out of the area as well as setting up a strict curfew for all those inside the blockade."

"This is how the government, the military specifically, manages to keep a tight watch of the area and thus make it easier to locate certain people of interest." Winter continued where her superior left off, before she moved back to the screen and frowned, "Even if they managed to give the border inspection the slip, with all those cameras and vantage points, it's only a matter of time before they're found once again."

Wanting to know how long exactly that would take, the students turned to Penny, who, sensing the incoming question, quickly gave them the answer, "It all depends on the topography and geography of both the city itself and the area surrounding the target of confrontation." She began to explain, "However, depending on the number of people available, as well as the level of competence of those on watch duty, it might take until tomorrow or the day after for the military to find out that they're already there, if they stay that long. And that's if they don't know they're there already."[5]

Not liking those odds, they all went back to the movie, hoping that they could both meet and get things done before the military can get there and ruin everything.

Not liking what he was seeing he went back in and told Betty what to do, "We gotta go, walk toward the back. Just don't move too fast."

Afterwards, they both left the truck behind and did exactly as he had instructed. After crossing a bridge on foot they then arrived at a boat yard, where they paid a boatman to take them to the city.

After a brief overview of the city, Bruce and Betty were seen looking at a map of the city and all of the possible routes they could take.

"It's a long way uptown. I think the subway is probably quickest." Betty suggested.

But Bruce didn't agree with that idea, "Me in a metal tube, deep underground with hundreds of people in the most aggressive city in the world."

Upon hearing this, many in the audience began to visualize how that would work out, and winced when they came to the same conclusion.

"Yeah, definitely not a good idea." Jaune spoke what was on everyone's mind, which was proven right with their nods.

Seeing that he had a point, she nodded, "Right, let's get a cab." They then left to get themselves a taxi.

Velvet perked up at that, "Oh, that's a great idea, it may be small and not that fast, but the taxi's certainly better than the trains."

Blake looked unsure, "Why do I feel like you're going to be proven wrong soon."

Wrong choice.

Loud music was heard as the cab in question was seen driving around recklessly through the busy streets of New York. It's driver shouting and throwing an occasional insult at everyone unfortunate to be in his path and his passengers, Bruce and Betty, trying to do their best to remain calm during their ride.

To this, the audience were left gobsmacked mouths open and with their eyes as wide, blank dinner plates.

The cab made a stop at an empty intersection, Bruce was the first to get out, doing his best to remain calm despite the beeping of his watch. Betty followed soon after, blowing her top at the cab-driver, "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? What is wrong with you?"

The driver, unaffected by her outburst, casually responded while trying to be as suave as possible, "What's the matter, baby? You don't like a good ride?" He finished with a smooch.

To this, just about every female, and Ozpin (to a lesser extent)[6], suddenly felt the desire to choke the man's life out.

To say that she didn't like either the tone or the action would be an understatement. Seeing this he quickly fled before she could snap at him, "ASSHOLE!"

"Couldn't have said so better myself sister." spoke Yang in an even and restrained tone, earning a few nods from the other girls.

Still smoldering even as he left, she then turned to Bruce, whose monitor was just finished calming down, "You know, I know a few techniques could help you manage that anger very effectively."

She didn't appreciate his 'help', "You, zip it. We're walking."

"Okay."

"I don't think that even the Hulk could say no to her when she gets like that." calmly stated Ren, getting a collective nod from his fellow males.[7]

The screen then shows another aerial view of the city, before it quickly switches to that of a building's entrance with students walking about and leaving said building.

Betty quickly makes herself known, getting the attention of a particular student wearing all blue and with a rather familiar face, "Excuse me, Dr. Sterns."

"Yes?"

"I'm sorry to bother you. I'm Elizabeth Ross."

His face went blank for a moment before it later morphed into recognition, "Dr. Ross."

"I have someone who'd like to meet you." She said before moving to make way for Bruce.

"Okay." he just got out confused, not knowing what to make of the good doctor's weird behavior.

When Bruce came face to face with him, all he did was ask just one question, "It's Mr. Blue, isn't it?"

That was enough to get Dr. Sterns to understand just what was going on this very moment, "Mr. Green?"

"Yay! They finally meet!", cheered Ruby happy that Bruce and Sterns had finally met.

"Yes. Now all that's left is to work together..." Ren began.

"And then Bruce will finally be free from his curse." Pyrrha finished, a smile on her face.

"And once he's freed..." Weiss continued.

"He and Betty will be together again." Blake finished, meanwhile her head was already being filled with images of what the two star-crossed lovers might do once the procedure succeeds.

"I've got to tell you, I've been wondering if you were even real." They were shown talking inside a deserted office, with books and papers littered all over the desks, giving the place a bit of a 'Mad Scientist' clutter to it.

"And if you were, what would it look like?" Sterns continued to speak, shaking a bit as he tried to explain his thoughts on the matter of their relationship, "A person with that much power lurking in him. Nothing could have surprised me more than this unassuming man shaking my hand."

Coco scoffed in agreement, "Yeah, I know the feeling. When I think of a man with the power to singlehandedly tear apart a good chunk of the military's personnel, the last thing that would come to mind is a guy who looks like he could barely lift a dumbbell."

As he continued with his little rant, Bruce and Betty shared a look, as if asking themselves if this was indeed the right decision to make, "But look, we're not strolling in the park for a picnic here. Even if everything goes perfectly, if we could induce an episode, if we get the dosage exactly right, is that gonna be a lasting cure? Or just some antidote to suppress that specific flare-up?" He then did a mock of a coin flip, "I don't know."

"Quite understandable, even after all these years it would seem that not even the very people who were there know what exactly happened or how it was that the Hulk was conceived. Trying to undo what you don't even know how it began would be the same as trying to go through a minefield blindfolded." Winter stated.

Seeing the looks on both his guest's faces he then proceeded to further elaborate, "What I'm saying is that if we overshoot this by even the smallest integer, we're dealing with concentrations with extraordinary levels of toxicity..."

Betty interrupted him before he could continue his tirade, "You mean it could kill him?"

"Kill him, yeah. I should say so." he agreed with the simplification, earning a look of concern from Betty.

"Though I might not like it, it is also understandable, seeing as they're about to embark into unknown territory during this procedure, it is to be expected that there would be some risks moving forward." Ozpin noted, getting a few nods from the rest of the adults.

While the younger audience didn't like what they've heard, both in and out of the movie, they couldn't help but to begrudgingly agree with both the doctor and their professor on this. All they could do now is hope that things go smoothly and that no further problems arise in the meantime.

"You should know that there's a flipside to this too." Bruce then spoke after a bit of silence since this whole thing started, "If we miss on the low side, if we induce me and it fails, this will be very dangerous for you."

"So on one hand, if they overdo it and it fails then Banner dies, while on the other hand, if they fall short and it fails..." Ren began.

"...then the Hulk will come out and destroy not only the facility, along with the equipment, but everyone in there, as well as the rest of the city will be in great danger." Velvet finished the thought, looking rather pale as she spoke, a feeling that was shared by just about everyone in attendance.

After hearing Bruce's warning, Dr. Sterns just adopted a look of humor and began to laugh, "Look, I've always been more curious than cautious. And that's served me pretty well. So are we gonna do this?"

"As much as it has served you well during your time as a scientist, you should learn how to exercise more caution every now and then when you're working with dangerous material." Penny berated the man, knowing full well how her father could be at times when working on a new project.

"Even more so considering the fact that he's working with what could be considered a, oh I don't know, a LIVING BOMB!" Weiss all but screeched at the doctor's complete lack of worry for working on something as dangerous as the Hulk, a sentiment that was shared by her sister, who nodded with a small scowl directed towards the man on-screen.

"The temporary loss of hearing aside, Weiss is right." Blake began, smoothening her ringing ears, "If the Hulk were to come out during the procedure and with the doctor in the same room, as much as he might not understand a lot of things, he'll recognize him as the one responsible for putting him through enough pain to come out and, well we've seen what happens to the people responsible for bringing him out."

She didn't need to elaborate further, for everyone cringed up at the memory of just what happened both at the factory and the campus. Now, all they could do was watch and hope that the procedure went okay and without any problems.

Night had fallen and the military base was filled with activity as they prepared for mobilization.

"Wonderful. Another chance for this disgrace of a general to put more of his men's lives in danger, along with innocent civilians and his own daughter." Ironwood said angrily.

"Please let them finish the experiment before they show up! Ross CANNOT get his hands of the Hulk!" Velvet pleaded.

"The fool's too blind and arrogant to realize he already has what he needs. Blonski was perfectly capable with the minimal treatment he was already given. But of course now, they've ruined it by doubling the procedure. He's losing more and more to reach his goal, which is already nearly unattainable." Winter went on a small tirade.

Inside one of the base's locker rooms, Blonski was seen alone, looking at himself in the mirror, studying both his face as well as the changes that have come from the recent procedures. What could be going through the recently enhanced soldier's mind? nobody could tell.

There was a small sound, but when he looked and saw that he was alone he chose to ignore it. As he returned to gaze at himself in the mirror, the camera zoomed out to show that the sound came from his very back, as it looked like his spine was growing slightly in a disturbing way, looking like it was threatening to pop right out of his back.

"I'm gonna be sick." Coco said, buckets appearing for all the students to empty out their stomach contents.

"BEST case scenario, something in his back healed wrong after Hulk pulverized him. Worst case scenario... Well, I feel like it goes without saying now." Ozpin said grimly, gripping his cane.

"The growth does not appear to be effecting his stature in the way that a hunchback or similar injury would. This can only dictate Blonski is going through some form of mutation." Penny said worriedly.

A bright light then enveloped the screen only to quickly fade out and show him in uniform making his way to one of the helicopters getting ready to take-off. He boarded the vehicle an sat in the middle of a row of soldiers, General Ross was there as well, cigar in his mouth, not once taking his eyes off of him.

"How are you feeling, man?" A soldier sitting in the row opposite of him asked.

Breathing a bit tense, he just eyed the soldier a bit before responding, already sounding like he couldn't wait to be out on the field, "Like a monster."

"Oh, come on! They're not even trying to hide it anymore!" Nora snapped.

"Indeed, Miss Valkyrie. I've heard of foreshadowing, but that was simply throwing the obvious directly in our faces." Glynda stated. (Oh, the irony)

Sterns was shown removing some covering to reveal a table that looks somewhat disturbingly like a set-up for a lethal injection, surrounded by a myriad of old computer and medical equipment, which he then proceeded to turn on and prepare for the upcoming operation.

Bruce and Betty had just arrived at the lab in time to see Sterns fiddling with the machines and even placing a canister of what would appear to be the antidote on a machine, which he then secures and is later answered with machine-like whining.

He then went on to gesture for Bruce to get on the table by tapping it, "Okay, on the table."

Bruce and Betty only answer to the gesture with a wary look.

"Kinda hard not giving him weird looks when the man himself along with his equipment look like the kind you would see in a Mad Scientist's lab." Jaune couldn't help but comment, something that just about al the students in the room couldn't help but agree.

"Exactly how that man has managed to avoid being kicked out the school, I'll never know." Glynda added, again a thought shared by her fellow adults.

Sterns is then shown securing a now shirtless Bruce to the table via the built-in straps to ensure nothing goes wrong, "These will protect you from yourself if you have a strong reaction."

"Believe me when I tell you, you're going to be needing something stronger than THAT should he have a strong reaction." Qrow snarked, doubting that a few straps of leather could keep the Hulk at bay for any length of time.

"And I believe that it'll be you yourself who'll be needing protection when that time comes." Despite not always seeing eye-to-eye with the man, Winter couldn't help but to both agree with and add to his statement.

"You can tell me later if you thought it was strong." was Bruce's response to Sterns' statement.

Betty was then shown also helping with the straps, then suddenly the machine began to whine and sound like it was powering down and beeping insistently, causing Sterns to go over and check it out. And he didn't like what he saw.

"Oh, come on." he then smacked his hand on the machine to get it up and running again, getting a look of apprehension and worry from both Bruce and Betty, "Stupid graduate students." he cursed before moving on to another computer on the other side, not noticing the looks Bruce and Betty were giving each other.

"Great job presenting yourself as the best option for this operation." Coco drawled at the sight of him working with defective equipment.

"In his defense, he did mention some graduates. Maybe, due to budget problems, he was left with hand-me-downs from other students of the University who have graduated and left their stuff behind to collect dust and a few errors." Velvet offered, trying to find a positive outlook to Sterns' apparent dementia.

Ozpin leaned in on Glynda and whispered, "Remind me to update all of Beacon's equipment once we get back."

To which she already responded, "Already made a note of it."

"Okay. You. You. You." Sterns then began to fiddle with the equipment again, setting everything up for the procedure. Betty just went back to looking over Bruce and getting him to relax.

Once everything was done and ready, "This will be a somewhat novel sensation." he started up the machine with a smile on his face, "We have begun."

"As true as that statement might be, the smile on his face really doesn't help make this feel less like a 'Mad Scientist's experiment' than it already is." Ruby let out worryingly.

"But I'm sure that things will work out fine." Velvet tried to console the younger girl, but then her face scrounged up and turned to their hosts, "Right?"

Vein just gave a bit of a 'so-so' gesture with his hand, as for Katana, "All I can say is, outside of you preparing for what you will witness, is that nothing will get broken during the procedure."

With that said, they all did as she said and prepared for what they were about to see, with some even summoning a fresh barf can just in case.

Bruce jerked a bit as his blood was being extracted from both his arms and legs, "The dialysis machine will mix the antidote with your blood. So the antidote will only take hold once we've achieved the full reaction." Sterns further explained.

"Just relax." Betty tried to help Bruce through the procedure, to which Bruce only spared her a glance.

"Okay, we are comprehensive." Sterns then gave Betty a case which she then open to reveal a plastic bite suppressor, which she then gave to Bruce while Sterns applied a type of lubricant on his forehead.

Once that as done, Sterns then grabbed what looked like odd pincers, a slightly mad look in his eyes, "All right, we set to pop?"

Despite not liking both what and how he said that, they all leaned in to watch what could be considered the procedure of the century.

Bruce gave Betty, who was holding his clenched fist, a worried glance, "I'd take your hands off him." Sterns warned upon noticing, to which Betty reluctantly adheres.

Sterns then forced the pincers together and received a small surge of electricity as confirmation that it was online. He then proceeded to electrocute Banner, who then responds with his whole body spasming, every muscle in his body straining against the straps, eyes clenched and then...

They snap right open, glowing a familiar eerie green light.

"Here it comes.", said Ren being as tense, if not more so, as the rest of the audience.

Both Betty and Sterns could only gawk with their mouths wide open as Bruce's skin begins to pale and his veins were revealed turning green.

"Oh, my God." Sterns let out as he saw Bruce begin to turn.

He spat out the bite suppressor as gasps and groans in agony as his body starts to swell and stretch and harden. One could practically see the trauma of it as his bones and muscles continue to spasm and churn and turn and grow at a rapid pace from within the poor man, even his very blood at this point had also turned green. Sterns is staggered while Betty could only watch as the man she loves undergoes what could only be described as hellish torture right in front of her, his howls of agony forever smeared in her mind.

And she wasn't the only one, as just about everyone in attendance, even those who have seen this before, could only cringe in a mixture sympathy and discomfort. While the children felt a bit nauseous at the sight they were witnessing, their earlier experience with Blonski made them a little used to the image, if only a little. Even Penny looked rather disturbed by the sight of Banner's transformation.

One thing's for sure though, this was a scene that no one in the room would ever be able to un-see, no matter how much some of them might want too.

Seeing as Bruce appeared to just about snap, Sterns tried to inject the antidote, but Betty stopped him, "Wait, wait, there's more. Wait."

The scene then began to close in on Bruce just as he continued to grow and the transformation was nearing its final stages along with his struggle against the restraints. A struggle which he appeared to be on the verge of winning.

"If you're going to give him the antidote, you better do it now." Qrow tensely told the man on screen, despite knowing that he couldn't hear him.

"And he better administer it as swiftly as possible, otherwise the Hulk will tear the lab, and him, apart." While he and Qrow rarely get along, just like with Winter, Ironwood also knew that the former drunk was right when it comes to stuff like this.

"Now do it! Do it!" Betty got out, worried for what might happen if they did it too late.

But Sterns didn't listen, he was in a daze. Completely mesmerized by the sight of the now emerged Hulk as he continued to struggle against the straps while continuing to grow. It wasn't until the straps on his waist finally gave out and smacked Sterns unto the floor that he finally realized how serious the situation was, along with the very table beginning to strain and buckle under the Hulk's weight.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU DUNCE?! HURRY UP AND GIVE HIM THE CURE!" Weiss screeched at the top of her lungs, clearly both baffled and over the man's reckless antics.

"Quickly, before he gets free!" Despite not being as loud as her friend, Pyhrra also screamed at the man on-screen.

With the transformation complete, the Hulk reared his head up and looked to be on the verge of starting another rampage, that is until Betty decided to take drastic measures and literally jumped unto the table and over the Hulk, leaning on his massive torso and looked at him in the eyes.

"Bruce, Bruce, look at me." she tried to reason with him, to get his to calm down enough so that the procedure may continue.

Sterns got back up and continued to marvel at the sight of the Hulk on the table, barely kept restrained by what's left of the straps and Betty's calming voice, "Stay with me. The antidote. Now."

Still in a trance, he tried to approach the Hulk and reached out to touch it, but was quickly caught by Betty who then gave him a mixed look which was both pleading and threatening, "Sterns, do it now."

"DO IT NOW!" Everyone in the room yelled at Sterns.

Getting the message he went back to the machine to pump in the antidote while Betty returned to trying to keep the Hulk from tearing the whole building apart, "Bruce, look at me. Look in my eyes." Despite still struggling, the Hulk did as she told and looked at her, "Please look in my eyes."

"Please hurry, I don't know how long Betty can keep him in check." It was now Blake's turn to join in on the triade, hoping that he could do it on time.

Back at the computers, the same error that transpired earlier appeared when Sterns tried to inject the antidote, "You've gotta be kidding."

"ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" Apparently he wasn't the only one who thought that.

In a last bit of desperate improvisation, he ran back to the dialysis machine and proceeded to give it an impromptu flying kick. Luckily, this got the machine working and the antidote was then pumped into the Hulk's veins via the needles which had miraculously remained intact.

The effects kicked in immediately, as the Hulk gasped and groaned as he finally calmed down, something that did not go missed by Betty who was still on top of him, "Bruce."

Or by Sterns who looked at the data that he had managed to record from the experience, "Oh, my God."

The effects of the antidote where then further shown as the Hulk then proceeded to shrink and change color and continued to do so until he had completely returned to being Bruce Banner.

"Bruce? Bruce, can you hear me?" Betty asked, worried about her lover. When he didn't respond she began to fear for the worse, "Bruce."

Nobody said a word, they just stared intensely at the screen, praying that everything went ok with the procedure. The tension was so thick that one could cut it with a butter knife.

Then as if by a miracle, he woke up with a start, gasping for air as though he had just woken up from a bad dream. He tried looking around, but was stopped by a relieved Betty grasping his head, looking as though on the verge of tears, "It's okay, you're okay." She then caressed his face as she reassured him that everything was ok, "You're okay. You did it."

"He's fine, this is fantastic." Sterns breathed out in awe and wonder, mind blown by what had just transpired no more than a few minutes ago.

"It's over." Betty continued in the background, until Sterns looked back to the star-crossed lovers, whose faces were getting a bit too close.

"Hi." Bruce greeted.

"Hi." Betty responded.

Once it was revealed that Bruce was okay, everyone let out a sigh of relief, the tension completely leaving their bodies.

"Thank goodness that he's okay. Had it gone any longer and things would've been bad." Pyhrra let out a sigh of relief as the experiment ended in success, dreading what would've happened if they didn't make it in time.

"And that's that." Katana paused the movie, giving her audience the chance to calm down after what they had just witnessed.

"Sterns was right, that procedure could only have been described as 'novel'." Ozpin got out.

"And yet, I get the feeling that such a word fails to completely describe the experience." Ren couldn't help but retort, a sentiment shared by the rest of the students.

"But now that it's over, Bruce can go back to living a normal life, and with Betty to boot." said Velvet, the optimistic Bunny girl happy that the experiment was a success.

That is, until her leader decided to burst her bubble, "I don't think it's all over just yet, Bun-Bun."

Before she could ask why, Blake joined in on the discussion, "She's right, before the operation even began, Sterns said that, due to how incomprehensible the Hulk and his beginnings were, it would be difficult to fully comprehend just how effective the procedure would be."

"And even IF it all worked out, there's Ross and Blonski to worry about." Pyrrha joined in, "We all saw that they were making their way towards them just before the operation started. Once they arrive I doubt that things will end on a happy note."

Nora just blew a raspberry at that, "I'll say, one man wants to cut Bruce open to get what he wants while the other is close to going all monster on everybody just to get himself a fight. I'd be surprised if a building or two don't get demolished by the time this all ends."

"She's right: Ross has already proven that he is willing to arrest Banner under false charges just to claim the power he wants and Blonski practically looks like he's ready to strike anyone unfortunate enough to get in his way, regardless of who's side they happen to be on." Winter agreed.

"Either way you look at it, it seems quite clear what's going to happen. Ain't that right Firecracker?" Qrow turned to his niece, whom everyone had also turned to.

She nodded to her uncle's statement and spoke the one thing that everyone in the room knew to be true and without any semblance of a doubt, "Round three starts right up next and, regardless of how it ends, this will be the fight that'll end this whole thing for good."

Nobody said anything to that, because they all knew just how right she was. It all came down to this very next moment that'll decide not only who would win the fight, but would also what will happen to Banner once this journey of his comes to an end.

Steeling themselves for what to come, and not saying a word afterwards, with a nod from Vein, Katana resumed the film.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay, Covid shots and recent new employment have been a drag. I thank you all for your patience and hope that you can enjoy this recent chapter, just two more and the story will be finished. It's been quite the ride and I can't wait to either continue where I left off in my other story or even to begin working on my new ones.

[1] Jason Bourne anyone?

[2] A quick shout out to TheMaster4444 for teaching me such a wise phrase. Thank you man.

[3] Good luck guys, you'll certainly need it.

[4] Trust me Winter, we all know that he deserves MUCH worse than that.

[5] Again, for those of you in the military or who know of how they work, you and I both know that this is pretty much how they do things.

[6] Again, he reincarnates, who's to say that he wasn't a woman once or twice when he was hopping from body-to-body?

[7] To all men out there, DON'T mess with a woman when she's pissed-off, not even immortality could safe you.

Alright, with that over and done with, next up we have the long awaited Round 3! Along with the fallout of Ross's foolishness. Hope you're ready for the grudge-match of the century, cause it's going to be Incredible!

Stay safe, good luck with what's going on on your side and I'll see you next time.

This is Vein Bloodborne, signing off.
