Chapter 4: Kawaii Energy!

Later on that Saturday day, Most of the girls were gone for a number of reasons. Both Itsuka and Ibarra were tasked with getting some daily snacks, toiletries, and other personal and not-so-personal stuff at the store, Setsuna, Yui, Reiko, and Kinoko went shopping for clothes, The Only one who had stayed behind was Pony and Izuku. Pony really didn't like going to a lot of places due to her broken Japanese and Izuku didn't have a lot to do anyway, well... not yet anyway.
Currently, Izuku himself had been continuing where he had left off last night with Teen Titans, but then he had suddenly gotten a call and he quickly grabbed his phone and looked at the caller ID, which was Aizawa.
'Mr. Aizawa is calling me? I wonder what for?' He thought to himself, Izuku then accepted the call and put the phone to his ear, "Hello?"
[Izuku, I'm glad you answered, I got something I need to do this weekend and I need someone to watch Eri for the whole weekend and maybe even Monday, can you do that?] Aizawa asked,
Izuku noticed that his teacher had sounded a little on edge for some reason, "Sure I can do that, is everything ok sir?" Izuku asked
Aizawa sighed slowly on the phone [Yes... everything is fine, and thank you Midoriya, know that this means a lot to her] Aizawa said
"It's no problem, I'll gladly look after her whenever" Izuku said
[Alright, I'll drop her off in a few minutes so be ready and I gave her an extra change of clothes if she needs it as well, again, thank you Izuku] Aizawa said
"Your welcome sir," Izuku said
The call ended and Izuku put his phone down and watched the show again.
"What was that about?"
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!"
Izuku then turned around and saw Pony behind him leaning against the couch with a soft smile. Izuku took some quick breaths to calm him down and he looked back at Pony who was chuckling at him.
"Sorry about scaring you Izuku," Pony said
"No, i-it's fine," Izuku said "What's up?"
"Nothing, I was just wondering who you were talking to," Pony said
"Oh, the call?" Izuku asked "Well, Mr. Aizawa wants me to watch over Eri for 2 or 3 days. something came up and he's gonna be really busy" Izuku told her
"Eri!?" Pony asked, "The girl with the horns from the Christmas Party right!?"
Izuku nodded, "Yeah, and If I remember, both of you really like apples and seemed to hit off greatly," Izuku said with a smile
Pony smiled as well proudly, "they are very good!" Pony stated, "So you're babysitting her, when is she on her way?" Pony asked
"Mr. Aizawa said in a few minutes," Izuku said "If you don't mind, would you mind helping me Babysit her when she gets here?" Izuku asked
Hearing this, Pony beamed with Joy, "Of course! I love kids!" Pony said with joy "I got a few little siblings back home in the states, so I kinda know what I'm doing"
Izuku smiled at her, "Thanks Pony, that means a lot" Izuku told her
Pony smiled brightly at him, "No problem" She said "I'm gonna get back to doing some of my work, let me know when she's here" She said
Izuku nodded and Pony left for her room on the ground floor and Izuku waited for Eri to arrive and continued watching Teen Titans.
Eventually, Eri and Aizawa arrived at the front door of the 1-B girl house and Aizawa knocked on it and waiting with Eri.
As they waited, Eri looked up to Aizawa and a worried expression was adorned on her face, "You'll be safe right?" Eri asked
Aizawa looked down at her and gave her a soft and kind smile, "I will, I promise" He told her.
Eric smiled a little and Aizawa kept the smile on his face, though... It was a little forced for her sake. Finally, the door opened and there stood Izuku. Eric cheered and gave him a hug and Izuku just smiled back and gave her one back.
"Hi Eri, how are you?" Izuku asked
"I'm great!" She cried "I had pancakes today for breakfast!"
Izuku chuckled, "that's good," he told her "wanna come inside and wait on the couch while I talk to Mr. Aizawa?" He asked
Her response was a quick nod and she ran in and sat on the couch and immediately find the cartoon on the tv entertaining. Meanwhile, Izuku turned back to Aizawa who expression returned to that of his expressionless face.
"There is something you need to know Izuku... This job I got assigned... I'm helping capture the remnants of the league" he said
Izuku's expression turned a bit scared as he looked at his teacher
"We've located their hideout and are finally going to end this thing for good" Aizawa said "If something happens to me... Promise me to take care of Eri," he said
Izuku looked at him with a bit of fear and worry but he looked to Aizawa and nodded. Aizawa huffed with a smile and began walking away.
"Mr. Aizawa" Izuku called out
Aizawa turned back around and looked at his student
"Come back safe, for Eri's sake," Izuku said
Aizawa just looked at his student with his regular demeanor and just looked at Izuku for a while
"Stay out of trouble while I'm gone, problem child," Aizawa said.
The pro hero and teacher turned back around and walked away and Izuku just had a worried look on his face, but he stepped back inside the house and shut the door. He looked back to the living room and saw Eri and Pony talking already
"Hi, Eri! It's good to see you again!" Pony said
"Hi, Pony!" Eri said with glee
"Awe you remember me!" Pony said in English "I'm so happy!"
Eri giggled, and while not understanding Pony at first she could tell that pony was both excited and happy
"How have you been?" Pony asked
"Great! I had pancakes this morning! and they really were delicious!" Eri said with her wide smile
Pony smiled and nodded, "they are aren't they?" She said, "Do you want to watch anything?"
"Do you have... huku? no that's not it... Hulu?"
Pony nodded, "Yes, we have Hulu" Pony said with a smile
"Can we watch Powerpuff girls?" Eri asked
Pony smiled widely and nodded, "Of course!" Pony said
Eri cheered and Pony started up Hulu and searched for the classic Powerpuff girls. Meanwhile, Izuku was kneeling on the ground clenching his heart as he watched the scene between the horned girls. The pure kawaii energy radiated off the two and it almost felt like Izuku couldn't even touch be around them unless he would be absorbed by their energy.

Since Eri had arrived Pony has been by the girl's side just being kind and making sure she is ok and relaxed as well as getting her what she asks for. Izuku would describe it as Motherly. Pony asks her if she needs something or needs to use the restroom or anything else, not to mention that she's been staying close to the girl which just kept upping the Kawaii energy that shined so brightly it rivaled Ibara's "Holy Light" as it was dubbed by many.
As the day went on, Eri was still watching tv but was now watching some Disney animated movies all while Izuku and Pony started to make lunch for the young girl. However, Pony was a bit more distracted because she was just watching Eri watch tv. Izuku still found it cute, but he saw that Pony's expression held something else, yet he didn't know what, so he kept on cooking.
"Thanks for helping me out Pony," Izuku said
Pony looked to him with a smile, "It's no problem" She said
"Eri really likes you," Izuku said "I'm glad that she's starting to get used to other people here"
Pony nodded
"You mentioned you had siblings back in the states, how many?" Izuku asked
"Three" Pony said with a gleeful tone "I'm the oldest, then there's my little brother Cob who's 13, then my little sister Morgan who's 10, and finally my baby sister Frey who's 6" Pony finished
Izuku smiled at her, "What are they like?" Izuku asked
"Cob's pretty chill, he just goes with the flow, and while he's a hard worker, he's still pretty immature, As for Morgan, she's a tomboy, and not really afraid to get dirty, but sometimes she can be a bit of a brat, and as for Frey, well she's kinda like Eri, although she has the temper of a bull" Pony said with a soft smile on her face
Izuku could tell she was thinking fondly of her siblings and guessed that she must have missed them dearly. "Have you talked to them recently?" Izuku asked
Pony sighed, "Not in a while, It's been a few months since I talked to my family..." Pony said sadly "I've just been really busy" She finished
Izuku looked at her and could understand where she was sort of feeling. He had been close to his mom but he hadn't had the chance to talk to her lately. He had wanted to talk to her but then something would come up or he's put it off for later.
"I'm sorry for bringing it up if it was a sore subject," Izuku said
"No, it's ok! I just... oh I ruined the mood didn't I?" Pony asked
"No! No! I-um... I just... I kind of understand where your coming from" Izuku said "I haven't talked to my mom in a while and I miss her and I'm sure you miss your family a lot more, I'm sure it wasn't easy for you to be here in Japan while they're back in the states" Izuku finished
"It is, but they know why I'm here and they support me, but there are times where I just want to be with them ya know, especially on the holidays," Pony said "but Eri's actually kind of making me feel better, It's like I'm taking care of one of my siblings again
Izuku smiled, "I'm glad," He said "and who knows, since she's gonna be here for a while maybe she'll even call you big sis," He said with a chuckle
Pony smiled at the thought, "That would be awesome" Pony said, she then looked over to Izuku and smiled "Thank you" She told him
Izuku looked at her with a confused look, "For what?" He asked
"For letting me talk about my family, I kind of needed to get it off my chest," She said with a smile "So thank you for that"
Izuku grew a blush as Pony looked at him with that kind smile and once again, her pure kawaii energy radiated off her and he just smiled at her, "I-It's no problem!" He said
They continued making lunch and thankfully it was done just a few minutes later and once it was done, Pony told Eri to come and eat and paused the movie for her and led her back to the table and the three ate the lunch. Izuku then noticed that Eri sat next to Pony instead of him which actually made him smile a bit since it really did show that Eri was getting closer to people that weren't Him, Mirio, Aizawa, Nejire, and Tamaki.
As he watched the scene, he couldn't help but watch as both Eri and Pony smiled as they talked and giggled. Pony held nothing but care in her eyes for Eri and Eri's expression kept beaming with joy every time she was with Pony and Izuku could see that and it made him smile since he had no doubt that the two girls were both getting something out of this. Pony must be feeling happy taking care of Eri like she used to with her own siblings and he didn't exactly know what Eri was getting out of it but it made her happy and that's all he cared about.
Izuku looked at Pony again and watched as her caring and motherly nature just kept showing and it reminded him of his mother. he smiled as a thought came to his head
'Pony would make a great mother' He said with a smile. It took him a while before he realized what he said and a blush crept onto his face.
