"God this place is a dump... Mom must not have know this place if she agreed to that date." It took me little to no time to get to Takoba Beach Park, the mountains of junk piled up greeted him far before he saw the actual beach. He set down his backpack and pulled the high lumen flashlight from it before calling his mother's number letting it

You might have a mom, she might be the bomb
But ain't nobody got a mom like mine

Her love's 'til the end, she's my best friend
Ain't nobody got a mom like mine
Oh, how she loves me to the moon and back
That's what she told me
Her love never ends, she's my best friend
Ain't nobody got a mom like mine

My eyes widened as the song I had set as her ringtone began to play somewhere in the mass of junk, I kept calling it as I ran, jumped and climbed over all the rusting metal, plastic and wood. "Mom! Can you hear me?!" I had finally found it after an hour of searching, sitting in an old rotting tire with its screen broken. "Darn it... I don't have time top fix this. Maybe the cops will believe me with this." I ran back to my backpack and pulled one of the many baggies inside and sealed the phone in it, it took me a moment to find the nearest on my phone and I was soon off on a full sprint. Barely managing to dodge out of the way of a blonde man, "Sorry sir!"

"No worries young man, please keep an eye on your surroundings in the future," he calls out as I turn a corner.

My sneakers skid across the street as I finally find the police station, an older man sat behind the front desk. I rush to him, "I need to report a kidnapping."

He gives a look that screams doubt but I guess my frantic face changed his tone, He gets a notepad and gets ready to write down any information, "Alright, who has been kidnapped?"

"My mother, Midoriya Inko. She's been missing for a day, the last time I saw her was Friday a she was getting ready for a date but she never came home."

"And what proof do you have that she was kidnapped instead of simply, ah... scratching an itch?"

"My mother is not like that! I kept trying to call her but it just kept ringing. I remembered where she said they were going for the date, a restaurant called Stella's and she said they were gonna walk down Takoba Beach."

That seemed to get his attention, "And she didn't know that Takoba was-"

"An absolute cesspool? No. She hates things getting dirty. I went to the beach and tried her phone again, I found it cracked sitting in an old tire." I take mom's phone from my pocket and slide it across the desk to him. "I hope this can help..."

"Alright son, we'll make sure this is taken care of. I'll need to get your information before I can make sure you get home. Can you give me your name, age, quirk synopsis for the recorder and write down your contact information and address on this form?"

He slides a form to me and I begin telling the recorder what he asked me to, "My name is Midoriya Izuku, I'm thirteen and my quirk is called Voyeur. It allows me to get glimpses of possible outcomes that happen to me. It's how I knew about the beach, I uh... *sniff* I hadn't paid attention when she first told me..."

The officer grabbed some tissues from a drawer and handed them to me, "It'll be alright Midoriya, we'll find her. Now is there someone we can contact to let you stay with them?"

"My mom's friend might let me stay with them," I give him Auntie Mitsuki's phone number and wait for the inevitable storm that she'll likely bring in her wake.

"Oh Izuku~ I'm so sorry this happened to you," She's in tears as she hold me to her chest, "They'll get that bastard, I just know it! Come on, you're staying with us until this is over. Katsuki will share his room, it'll be like when you were little brats." Auntie Mitsuki leads me to her car where uncle Masaru is sitting in the drivers seat but no Kacchan. I must have voiced my thoughts cause Auntie Mitsuki explains, "The brats at home, he doesn't know Inko's missing yet..."

"Oh... that's going to go over swimmingly," I grumble as I get into the back seat, buckling my seatbelt before uncle Masaru starts driving us to their home. We were a far ways away so I let my quirk activate, eyes going blank as the vision overtakes me.

I'm floating around in the police station, this is weird; I don't see myself but I'm supposed to only be able to see stuff around me? A somewhat familiar blonde man walks through me to the front desk, his voice deep speaks to the officer, "Evening Officer Yare. Was a young man just in here? About this tall?" He makes a gesture about waist high, sweet All Might this guy was a skeleton.

"I'm sorry, who are you?"

"Oh right," the man pulls an ID from his pockets, "I'm Yagi Toshinori, I work with Naomasa- Ahem, sorry Detective Tsukauchi. We're currently looking into some recent cases, some women have turned up missing over the past four weeks and we believe we've tracked the one responsible to somewhere in this area and the young man was found leaving the crime scene where we've found multiple signs of disposal."

"Ah... Well I hate to add more work to you then," Officer Yare slides over the form, notes, mom's phone and the recording he took of my quirk synopsis, "The young man was in here filing a missing person's report for his mother. He said she was going on a date Friday and she hadn't come home. He found this phone in the junk piles at Takoba Beach, it belongs to his mother."

I watch Yagi take the evidence, the edges of the vision are going hazy and dark before completely blinking out and I'm back in the back sear of the car; the front of my shirt soaked in blood from my nose and Auntie Mitsuki screaming in panic.

"What?"
