I don't own the Demon Headmaster.

Known and Compromised.

As he stood in the cell the police had locked him inside of, the Headmaster formerly of Hazelbrook considered his next options. They were limited considering he no longer had the others support since the plan to gain control of British education and the entire country, as a result, had failed because, once more, the Headmaster had simply underestimated the will children showed in wanting disorder and chaos to reign supreme instead of seeing the world run like clockwork as it would have done under his leadership and guidance.

The Headmaster was not burdened by the problem of the cell; it was nothing more than a physical barrier, easily remedied. He wasn't burdened at all by the prospect of being questioned by the police, either. He would never get that far, if necessary he could effortlessly hypnotise as many of the police officers in the station as he could, and he would be freed within moments.

No.

His main burden was the fact he was now known, as the hologram of the older Headmaster had claimed, and because he was known and compromised within his current body, there was only so much he could now do. He had to admit Lizzie Warren and her gang of rebellious friends had timed everything to perfection by interrupting the broadcast just as he was making the start, but now he thought of how they had managed to learn so much about him in a short span of time following their discovery of his hypnotic capabilities and how they'd rallied together against him despite him frequently hypnotising them to prevent them becoming a threat like Dinah Hunter and her gang had caused to his predecessor.

The moment he had seen the signs the Headmaster had done his best to ensure they could not pose a threat to him. They could not afford to allow failure to continue to stop them from succeeding.

The Headmaster knew one of the reasons why it had happened was because they had allowed themselves to be thwarted in the first place. In hindsight, trying to take control via a school was wracked with problems since there was the prospect of children like Dinah and her friends coming together in the cause against them and their desire to impose order on a chaotic world.

But it was believed there were fewer risks of their operations being thwarted; the advent of the internet had allowed human brains to be easier controlled although not by much; there were still people whose minds were much easier to mesmerise and impose their will on, but they were few and far between.

One of the reasons why Lizzie and Tyler Warren were both susceptible was because of their mother, Rose, who had been hypnotised many times during her own childhood at St. Champions, and she carried within her genetics the gene sequence which made hypnotism possible. But the majority of people hypnotised by the Headmasters over the decades were not immune anyway.

When he had the opportunity, the Headmaster would be able to escape. It was ironic, really, as he came to think about the matter, remembering how Lizzie had defied him by saying she would report his powers to the authorities and he would, as she said "do time" without thinking that if he could hypnotise children and teenagers, why would he have a problem hypnotising adults.

He had already hypnotised the staff at Hazelbrook, why would he have any problems with others? The irony was Lizzie Warren had stubbornly ranted she would see he was going to be put inside for everything he had done, and here he was now, inside a prison cell. But he would not stay here for much longer.

But one thing was for sure, he would not allow his brief imprisonment to impede him in his desire to bring order and efficiency to the world. His current appearance may have been compromised, but the next time he would plan everything carefully to take into account somebody's potential interference, and if they did...

One of the biggest mistakes of their organisation was they regularly underestimated the resourcefulness of people like Lizzie Warren and her friends as well as Dinah Hunter.

Dinah Hunter and her gang - Lloyd and Harvey, Ian, Mandy, and Ingrid - had thwarted their plans too many times to be tolerated, and aside from the time where they had taken control of the BRC, they had never gone directly after Dinah and her friends and made sure they could not interfere. It was something to bear in mind for the next time; when he escaped, the Headmaster would watch out for anyone who was becoming suspicious and had learnt enough to become a danger to the successful outcome of a plan. They had been planning the takeover for so long, and they had been thwarted so many times, it was becoming unacceptable.

While the Headmaster was considering the options available, the visor of the cell door creaked.

He might be known and compromised in his current form, but he would ensure order was imposed.
