Suspenseful music was heard playing as a black background was the only thing visible.
"I want to be a Huntress."
"Those were the words I said to Ozpin on the night I first met him." Ruby's voice narrated.
The sight of Ruby on her knees looking upwards to a dark sky was seen.
"I wanted to be someone others look up to, who could do amazing things for the sake of others."
Weiss, Blake, and Yang, Ruby's teammates, all had forlorn expressions on their faces as they looked to the sky just like Ruby.
"Who could slay Grimm, help people, bring hope to others, and carve Remnant a road to its future."
"We failed." Ruby's head changed from looking up to the sky to down at the dirt she was on.
"Little did we know that the only future Remnant had…"
"Upon the end of Remnant's final day, all that you know… will cease to be." The voices of the Gods of Light and Darkness declared.
"WE FAILED!" Ruby screamed to the heavens above before she collapsed onto the ground in despair.
"... Was destruction." Ruby narrated.
"It's alright, Ruby." Weiss said with an empty smile on her face and her eyes closed.
"Yeah, we're still together." Blake said with a broken voice.
"We don't have to be apart from each other." Yang said as they all looked at each other one last time.
"The only thing that I had the ability to be glad for after all that happened to me and my friends…" Ruby's voice continued.
Flashes appeared on screen, involving Weiss's face as she leaned forward. Yang and Blake holding hands. And Ruby had a broken smile on her face as she had tears fall from her eyes.
"Was that my end…" The suspenseful music cut off.
"I'm glad that… my end was alongside you guys." Ruby finished as her body as well as those of her friends were cloaked in blackness darker than night.
"Hehe… weird, that the end would only bring about a new beginning." The black background suddenly illuminated, showing a girl with a face that looked exactly like Ruby's aside from the eyes and hair running down the street of a japanese neighborhood.
"A new life for me and my friends, as Ruby Akabane…" The girls with Ruby's face showed up with Ruby's symbol behind her.
"Wendy Von 'Weiss' Shirohime…" A girl that looked like Weiss only with White hair that had two strands of blue and black hair showed up with Weiss's symbol behind her.
"Sae Kurokami…" Another girl that looked like Blake with black hair tied into a ponytail and glasses over her brown eyes showed up with Blake's symbol behind her.
"And Makoto Bushinoma." One final girl with Yang's face, blond hair, and red eyes appeared as the symbol of Yang appeared behind her.
"We have a second chance at a peaceful life, and while we couldn't say no to it, we weren't going to deny this second chance." Ruby's voice declared as she looked at her friends while they smiled at her... before the sight of someone who looked like Neopolitian appeared.
"As if it would be that easy for the lot of us." Ruby's voice deadpanned.
Ruby, Wendy, Sae, and Makoto looked forward with dropped jaws. "YOU'RE A TEACHER?!" They loudly asked in shock.
The sight of a giant dragon firing off a laser of red energy was seen. "Using a gift unto humanity, known simply as Duel Monsters…" An ice-themed dragon appeared flying overhead.
"Be cut down!" Sae shouted as a humanoid panther rushed forward.
"Tear them down, Sunfist!" Makoto ordered to a dragon with an odd number-like decal on it's shoulder.
"We'll help others, carve our own path…" Ruby drew a card from a Duel Disk on her right arm.
"And do what our past selves couldn't." Ruby stated.
"A soldier strives for the benefit of his leader's ambitions." A man with darkened skin and a stony-faced glare declared.
"We WILL save this world from destruction." A voice that sounded like Nora told the reincarnated team RWBY.
"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH!" A young boy shouted at them.
"You don't need to do this." A girl with long black hair said in a room with a violet light shining in her direction as she covered her eyes from the light.
"I was once a young girl, who sought to save a dying world through the steel of my blade and the wits in my head, but now, in this life…" Ruby narrated.
"What else is there for me to do?" A man with a mask over the right side of his face asked, with a stern look in his eyes.
"I'm saving this world with my wits and my cards." Ruby finished.
"Time to DUEL!" Ruby shouted as she pointed forward.
RWBY-OH: Remnants of the End
Coming when it feels like it.
"I always thought the people of Remnant were too much for this world, but now, all I can do…" The visage of a deific being cloaked in light blue and white light with prismatic eyes was seen. "... Is hope that they are enough."
"Crimson Quasar BURST!" Ruby shouted as a dragon with red and black coloring fired off a red laser from its mouth as everything went black.
Warning: Features White Rose and Bumblebee pairings throughout the story due to source material, if you disapprove or wish to complain about it, don't bother doing so beside I could care less this time around.

Sorry this story starting chapter is really short, but that's what you ought to expect from the first trailer I'm doing for a story I've got planned for sometime in the future.
This is something that I've received help from a new co-writer on, there's going to be a lot of effort put into this particular fanfic, and it's going to be calling back to other Yugioh franchises in ways you may not expect.
Regardless, I don't know when the first chapter for this will be coming out, but I, for one, am aiming for before the 18th of this month, either way, look forward to this archetype and the cards, characters, and stories it will bring with it.
