A/N: Hello, all. I know you know my original plans (which are still going on), but I also wanted to take a little crack at "A Goofy Movie", which most of you may already know. I know it doesn't start off different, apart from the opening logo, but there is a certain addition of a new OC (not mine) in the next chapter and things are bound to get more interesting along the way. Enjoy. :)
A Goofy Movie
Chapter 1: "What A Dream/'After Today'"
First, it shows a view of a night sky, with a star somewhere on the screen and the clouds on the bottom. Then, it went past the clouds and down to a very clear view of a river, with a train running down the railroad track and then showed a waving flag before panning down as some fireworks went off, with a big castle now in view as the fireworks are almost finished when a comfortable position in front of the castle was reached. When the fireworks finished, a very small dot appeared way closer to the castle and then moved to the right side. The dot then drew a line over the castle. When the dot is finished drawing the line, the regular "WALT DiSNEY" script, in a textured baby blue hue, writes itself onscreen. The word " S" fades in below the script in a Times font, with each of the letters spaced-out. A dot of light appears below the script and extends to form a line between the script and text before the logo faded to black. When it did, the blue background then faded in with the "Walt Disney Pictures Presents" caption appearing before then fading away with the "A Movie" Caption appearing just before a Goofy yell of "YAAAHH-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOOEY!" sounded and the word "Goofy" crashed between the two words, making the title read "A Goofy Movie" as a red panel appeared behind the title. Then, the Logo faded away as it then went down to show a wind blown wheat field with a beautiful blue sky and cotton puff clouds.
"Max…", a voice called before a boy named Max appeared close up, gasped at the sound of his name, and looked around for the source, finally squinting into the 4th wall.
"Max…", the voice called again before Max then grab running through the wheat toward the source, which was a tall pedestal with a female figure in top.
"Max…", the voice called again before, finally, Max reached the clearing to see the woman on top of a pedestal.
"Roxanne?", Max spoke in surprise before the girl in question, holding a white dandelion, gently blew the seeds toward Max, who was quite mesmerized by the seeds.
Then, Roxanne leapt from atop the pedestal and gracefully glided down toward Max, who attempted to catch her, but wound up falling down while doing so before the two giggled and looked at each other with Max sighing. Roxanne started to pucker her lips for a kiss, but unfortunately, the sky changed to overcast gray and the wheat changed to thorns as she gasped and and drew away in shock as Max now had incredibly large buck teeth, but had yet to notice.
"What's wrong?", Max puzzled, partly mumbling, before he noticed his teeth and stood up in panic.
A moment afterward, his ears grew one at a time, as did his hands, starting with his right, prompting Roxanne to gasp and step back in worry. The next to grow were his feet before Max continued to grow and change until he looked exactly like his father, Goofy, prompting Roxanne to give quite a fearful scream before Max felt a Goofy laugh force its way out of his throat like the howl of some wild animal and tried to stop it but failed as lightning flashed behind him. Suddenly, Max gasped with a yell and woke up from his sleep before checking his head and his teeth and sighing when he realizes it was just a dream. However, at that moment, the phone rang, startling Max as he fumbled the receiver while answering it and dropped it on the floor before then picking it up.
"Hello? Hello?", Max asked with a cough.
"Max? Where the heck are you, man?", PJ asked.
"PJ?", Max asked.
"You should have been here an hour ago!", PJ shouted.
"What? What are you… Hold on.", Max responded before he hit his alarm clock which was showing 4:02, causing the numbers to spin and then show 7:50.
"Oh, no!", Max exclaimed before leaping out of bed and beginning to dress while still on the phone.
"Look, maybe we should just call the whole thing off.", PJ advised.
"No way, man! It's now or never!", Max responded before he got tangled in the phone cord and fell down.
"Well, you better get a move on! I'll meet you at my locker!", PJ stated as Max got untangled from the phone cord before he hung up just as Max's father, Goofy, opened the door to Max's room, dressed only in towels and with a vacuum cleaner.
"Morning', son!", Goofy chuckled.
"Dad!", Goofy exclaimed as his pants have fallen to the floor when he hung up the phone before he yanked up his pants out of embarrassment.
"Oops! I forgot.", Goofy spoke before shutting the door, knocking, and then opening it again.
"Morning', son! Came to see if you had any…dirty…clothes…", Goofy began as he noticed that the entire floor is covered with pile after pile of dirty clothes.
"Well, there they are! Help yourself!", Max spoke as he is still trying to get dressed.
"Max, I thought we talked about this.", Goofy glared.
"Yeah, look, I'm sorry, Dad. I'll take care of it later!", Max spoke as his sweatshirt was only halfway on before he bumped into Goofy, who helped him get the shirt on the rest of the way.
"What's the big rush?", Goofy asked.
"I'm running late.", Max responded.
"Well, I could drive you on my way to work.", Goofy offered as he began to vacuum up the dirty clothes.
"Uh, no thanks. I..uh..I need the exercise.", Max refused with a fib.
"Aw, come on, Max!", Goofy spoke before he accidentally allowed the vacuum nozzle to get too close to a cardboard cut out of a singing rock star named Powerline, the head of it got sucked in.
"DAD!", Max, who was almost out the door, shrieked in alarm before he grabbed the cut out, while Goofy held the vacuum.
Finally, Max turned off the vacuum and extracted the cut out, which had been curled in a couple of places.
"Aw, Dad! You ruined it.", Max groaned.
"Sorry about that. Who was he, anyway?", Goofy apologized.
"It's only Powerline, Dad. The biggest rock star on the planet.", Max responded.
"Oh, not bigger than Xavier Cugat, The Mambo King! Everybody mambo! Mambo, mambo, mam-bo!", Goofy spoke as he started mambo-ing with an un-willing Max.
"Aw, come on, there's no time for this! What if the neighbors see us, huh?", Max asked as he extracted himself from Goofy and dashed out the door with Goofy eventually coming around from the back.
"Maxie! Wait up! You forgot your lunch! Have a good day!", Goofy spoke before he kissed Max just as a few skateboarders passing by see it and start laughing, prompting Max to give a grin, embarrassed, and wave before then getting a scowl on his face before then coming across a fence and jumping across it and walking forward only to trip up on the marbles that were laid out on the ground with a girl tearing up the rest before Max inadvertently bumped into a boy who then pushed him aside with Max coming across several boys, one of which had crib notes on his arm while another stole Max's lunch and all the others snapped their jock straps, one of which landed in Max's nose.
Max: They've been laughing since I can remember,
but they're not gonna laugh anymore!
No more "Maxie the geek"!
No more "Goof of the week" like before!
Girl tearing up test: No more algebra tests 'til September!
Boy: No more looking at losers like him!
Boy with crib notes on arm: No more having to cheat!
Another Boy: No more mystery meat!
Yet Another Boy: No more gym!
Yet Another Another Boy: No more gym!
Yet Another Boy: No more gym!
Yet Another Boy: No more gym!
Then, a girl named Lisa held out her wallet which had numerous credit cards while a boy leaned on the water hydrant, prompting Lisa to push her friend aside with Max catching up only for the boy to get off the water hydrant with Lisa then punching Max by the arm in frustration.
Girl with credit cards: Gonna move to the mall!
Beach Boy: Gonna live in the pool!
Max: Gonna talk to Roxanne and not feel like a fool!
Then, Max came across a few talented skateboarders as Max watched in amazement, even dodging one of them going above him with a few girls, even the school club president passing by a couple of old ladies with Max popping up from behind the bench, surprising the old ladies, one of which fainted.
All: 'Cause after today I'm gonna be cruising!
Max: After today she'll be mine!
All: (singing) After today my brains'll be snoozing!
Max: (singing) If I don't faint, I'll be fine!
Then, it showed a set of twin girls holding their books before the twin boys picked up said books and tossed them aside with a couple of nerds popping up in view before raising a comic book up.
Twin Girls: I've got forty more minutes of Home Economics!
Twin Boys: Then down with the textbooks…
Trekkie Boy: And up with the comics!
Then, Max ran up toward the birds and jumped on the ground, scaring them off.
Max: Just think of all of the time I've been losing, finding the right thing to say!
All: But things'll be going my way, after today!
Then, Roxanne passed by Max, who waved to her, only for Roxanne not to notice him, saddening him somewhat before Max then went forward toward a school bus, which had all sorts of cheerleaders and a couple of goths before they all ran out the bus with the driver then closing the bus doors.
Max: She looked right through me. And who could blame her? I need a new me, plus some positive proof that I'm not just a goof! And…
All: After today I'm gonna be cruising!
Two Girls in black: No more pep rallies to cut! Yech!
All: After today my brains'll be snoozing!
School Bus Driver: I'm gonna sit on my butt!
Then, Max then noticing the clock on the school before then running off and sliding down a bar only to bump into Principal Mazur, who lost his wig for a moment before getting it back on.
Max: I've got less than an hour and when this is ended, I'll either be famous…
Principal Mazur: Or you'll be suspended!
Then, it showed all sorts of students celebrating the end of the school year just as Max ran up to the bleachers at the highest point.
All: Just think of all of the time I've been losing, waiting until I could say: Gonna be on my own, kiss the parents good-bye! Gonna party from now 'til the end of July! Things'll be going my way after today!
Just then, the school bell rang loudly.
Max: I wish that this was the day after today
Then, Max started to step down, but then tripped and tumbled down, falling flat on his face at the bottom, earning laughters from lots of kids nearby before they walked away. But only one person was generous enough to help him up and that person was none other than Roxanne.
"Are you all right?", Roxanne asked.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay, I just ah, duh,…", Max began before he noticed that it was Roxanne and got completely tongue-tied, earning Roxanne's chuckle.
Max started laughing, only to emit a Goofy "Uhyuck!", prompting him to cover his mouth and dash away, tripping over some garbage cans. Max looked back at Roxanne for a moment, and then ran away with an cry of anguish. Frankly, Roxanne could tell Max was just shy as she looked rather mystified.
A/N: And there we have it. The start of the adventure. Now, the reason I am writing this is because throughout several stories for this movie, there wasn't a single one where Roxanne comes with Max and Goofy, which is the same reason my brother started his own version as well. That's right, we are each working on our own versions of how things would unfold like this but all with the similar premise: Roxanne coming with Goofy and Max on the road trip. So, it's basically a challenge to see who would to that premise better (just for fun, though). So, with that in mind, what do you think would be about to happen in the next chapter? Feel free to voice what you think would happen in the next chapter as well as what you think should happen at a certain point in the story and I'll see what I can do. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll work on the first few chapters of "Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico". For now. :)
