A/N: Hello. :) In this chapter, Max's older (originally younger) sister (only by a year) is in the house. And unlike Max, she takes her duties very seriously.

Chapter 2: School Assembly/"Stand Out"
Inside the school, Max walked inside the school corridors.
"I can't believe I did that! She finally says "hi" to me and what do I do? I choke! Ugh! Uhyuck! Like a big spaz.", max spoke before coming across his sister, Amaya, who is not only a year older than him, but also cross with him.
"There you are, Max. You're late.", Amaya scolded.
"I know...", Max sighed.
"Next time, remember to turn the alarm on.", Amaya advised as PJ popped up next.
"Where have you been, buddy?", PJ asked.
"Hi, Peej. Did you get the camera?", Max asked.
"Look, Max, if my Dad catches me with this he'll kill me! Are you sure we gotta do this?", PJ asked nervously.
"It's my only chance, Peej. To Roxanne I'm just a nobody! But after today…", Max began before PJ interrupted him in worry.
"I don't know, Max. We have a huge problem with Amaya setting everything up. She can be very relentless when she's angry. And she holds one heck of a grudge!", PJ stated before he and Max were suddenly flooded with light with the latter squinting into it.
"Bobby!", Max called as Bobby was drinking at the fountain with a straw before Max and PJ examined the video equipment on a dolly.
"Wow! All this is for us?", Max asked as Bobby finished his drink.
"Mmmmm. Slurpage.", Bobby grinned.
"Oh, this is going to be so great, man!", Max spoke as he began to wheel the video equipment away only for Bobby to grab it back.
"Dude, need fundage, bro.", Bobby spoke.
"Oh, your fee! Yeah, yeah! Right here.", Max spoke as he reached into his backpack and brought out a bag, handing it to Bobby, who pulled out a can of aerosol can of spray cheese, much to his ecstasy.
"Cheddar! Awoooooooo! Cheddar Whizzie!", Bobby shouted before spraying an enormous amount of said cheese in his mouth with both Max and PJ looking in disgust with the latter close to nausea before Bobby smacked his lips and coughed, inadvertently spraying Max and PJ with cheese.
"Mmm. It's pretty scrumptious. Huh. Let's do it, ladies!", Bobby grinned, hugging the two.
At the school auditorium, the entire school body is there, making noise and throwing paper when Amaya stepped up to the podium in the middle of the stage and spoke up.
"As Valedictorian, Student Body President, and the head of every single club out there, I just want to say 'hooray' to all of us for a fantastic year.", Amaya spoke.
"Yo, Amaya! Talk to me! Talk to me! Talk to me, baby!", the nerd shouted, making Amaya glare at him briefly before speaking up.
"And also that I hope you can all attend Stacey's totally amazing end-of-school party next Saturday to watch the Powerline concert live on Pay-per-view.", Amaya announced before the students cheered at this announcement.
"Thank you. Thank you very much. And now, without further ado, Principal Mazur.", Amaya spoke as the sudden silence fell as the spotlight shone on said principal and he went up to the microphone before it squealed as Mazur began to speak.
"Thank you, Amaya! And good morning, boys and girls! You know, every year, on the last day of school, I have several youngsters approach me and say, "Principal Mazur, what can we do to not waste our summer vacation? We don't want to waste our free time sleeping or visiting friends…", Mazur began as the same boy from earlier named Chad, spoke to Roxanne.
"Say, uh, Roxanne. About Stacey's party…", Chad began.
Unfortunately, Max saw him talking to Roxanne through a part in the curtain before he closed it and zipped up his Powerline costume, not knowing that Amaya noticed him.
"What are they up to...?", Amaya spoke, getting the feeling that Max, PJ, and Bobby were up to something.
"How are you, uh, how are you doing down there, Bobby?", max asked.
"Don't give me that attitude, you guys. I'm doing it all for you.", Bobby responded as he put his welding amsk on and then started using a blowtorch with PJ carrying the wires.
"This is nuts! I don't know why I let you guys talk me into this. If my dad finds out, if Amaya's grudge doesn't end me, he's gonna nuke my entire existence!", PJ spoke worriedly before tripping on the wires backstage and partially going under the curtain with Max picking him back up.
"Oh, I hope this works...", Max spoke worriedly.
"How about Science Slumber Parties!", Mazur suggested before the spotlight suddenly went out.
Then, Max put on his shades and gave a thumbs up, which is echoed by Bobby and the nervous PJ. A button is pressed and rock music started playing as a large screen began to rise behind Principal Mazur, who was quite surprised as Max even appeared in said screen.
"Wha…Hey! I'm not going to…", Mazur began before Bobby pulled the switch,c ausing a trap door to open up below Mazur, who screamed as he felled down the trap with Bobby laughing, infuriating Amaya as she growled.
"What do they think they're doing?!", Amaya growled, preparing to expose Max and the others just before Max started lip-synching to the song as he danced to it. But eventually, Max tripped on one of the black wires and fell right through the screen just as Amaya tried to grab Max only to miss and land on the ground, ripping it before tumbling to front center stage with the students shouting as gleefully as though it was a concert with Max looking quite amazed at the act before even noticing Roxanne's rapt gaze in the front row. Bobby laughed and tickled PJ as everything seemed to be going according to plan with both giving him a thumbs-up before Max looked back at Roxanne and then stepped forward while Amaya recovered and gave a frustrated growl and glare.
Some people settle for the typical thing: living all their lives waiting in the wings.
It ain't a question of if, just a matter of time, before I move to the front of the line

"A little smokage! Arooo-oo-ooo!", Bobby howled as he turned on a CO2 fire extinguisher with Max lip-synching again as he danced on stage and even got closer to Roxanne before Bobby spoke to PJ.
If I make you stop and take a look at me instead of just walking by
there's nothing that I wouldn't do if it was getting you to notice I'm alive
"Here.", Bobby spoke as he handed PJ a rope with a hook on it with PJ sneaking under the cover of the CO2 fog and hooked Max's belt from behind before giving Bobby a cue with PJ then getting grabbed back by Amaya, allowing him to yank on the rope, sending Max flying around the room.
All I need is half a chance, a second thought, a second glance will prove I got whatever it takes
It's a piece of cake
To stand out above the crowd
Even if I gotta shout out loud
"Wow! Who is that guy?", Lisa shouted before Max grabbed a basketball and slam dunked it while reaching out for Roxanne's outstretched hand.

But just as Max's hand was about to reach Roxanne's, Amaya grabbed Bobby and shut the music down, causing it to die down as it slows down indefinitely before Max went tumbling and spinning until he wound up stopping by Principal Mazur, who removed his shades, exposing him.
"Hey, it's the Goof Boy!", one of the boys in the audience spoke as Roxanne smiled in surprise while everyone else just stood, mouths agape.
"We're busted.", Bobby spoke with Amaya finally about to let her temper out at full force, unfortunately for Max.
"MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!", Amaya shouted.
A/N: Uh-oh. Looks like Max is in big trouble as expected. But even more so with Amaya. Something tells me things won't exactly end well in the next chapter. Well, let's hope that things can turn around, or at the very least find out the source of her anger and frustration at her younger brother.
