It's been awhile since I've done this story. Sorry for the wait, trying to figure out how this chapter would go. But still see you guys like this story so I'll try to get back to it more often. Enjoy this chapter.

"Uggh." Opening her eyes Luz still feel daze while feeling confused. Once her vision is clear all she could see is nothing but a dark room. The only light source was the lamp overhead.

"W-Where the heck am I? What it this place?" She tried to move her arms but couldn't. She looked at her body only to find herself strap to an operating table. Feeling afraid she thrashes around, trying to break, but unable as she started to panic "Wh-What's going on?!" Shout Luz panicking.

Hearing a groan Luz turn her head to the left. Only to see a familiar face, seeing Amity made, Luz sigh in relief. But quickly frowned to see Amity strap to the same operating table across of her. Once, Amity regained conscious the first thing she sees is Luz.

"Luz…?" Amity weakly spoke.

"Amity…" Said Luz softly "…Gracias a Dios you're alright."

When Amity tries to move her arms, she looks down only to see them and the rest strapped to the table. Feeling her anxiety building up she tries to move her fingers but find them pin to the table surface to prevent her to cast any spells. She then started to breath heavily.

Seeing her friend panicking Luz called out to her "Amity… Amity calm down!" Said Luz.

"Luz…" Amity look at Luz confused "W-What's going on?! Where are we?!"

"I-I don't really know." Luz confused as Amity "But don't worry, I'll… I'll try get us out of here!"

Luz tries to get at least one of her hands slip out from the leather strap so she could free herself then Amity. With all her might no results. Groaning in frustration she slams her head on the table. Sighing in defeat. If only she could use her one of her glyphs, she could be free in no time.

Seeing that neither her nor Luz could escape, she silently looks at the dark ceiling. See nothing but the lamp tangling above makes her unsettling. This reminds her all those countless hours studying in her dark room with nothing but few lit candles. All because her mother wants her to get the best grades in the sake of the family's name.

However, during those times when Luz showed up, something lit inside her. Something brighter than few candles. Something she hasn't felt since she cut ties with Willow.

"Luz…" Amity softly spoke, getting the human her attention.

"Yeah, Ams…?" Said Luz looking at the mint-hair girl.

"There's…" She hesitates "C'mon Amity… this could be your only change. It's now or never." Amity thought as she took a deep breath "There's something I… want to tell you."

"Like what…?"

"I…"

Amity gets interrupted as the sound of a door is heard. Seeing the door opening before slamming shut, sounds of footsteps echoed the room. Both girls nervously sweating as the footsteps get closer and closer. Both of them holding their breaths.

"I see you two are up already." Said the creepy voice.

In the darkness a single blue light spun to make a circle is seen. Soon, all the torches in the room were lit. Revealing the cloaked figure which hides his face. He then walks up to them.

"I was expecting you two to wake up once I was got here. But then again, it's good to see you both awake." Said the creepy cloaked man.

"Hey! Let us go you creep!" Luz yelled at him "Or I'll…!"

"Burn me alive? Freeze me?" The cloaked man interrupted "By using these pieces of paper?"

The cloaked man held up Luz papers of glyphs in his hands. Luz gasped when she sees them "I was curious how could a human like you able to perform spells without a bile sack like all other witches. So, I took all of your glyphs while you were unconscious." The cloaked man place one of the glyphs down on the table. After tapping it a ball of light was created as is floats up.

"I'm impressed, very impressed. You're a very special specimen indeed." Said the cloaked man with a raspy voice.

"Who the hell are you, anyway?!" Amity shouted with the man looking at her "Why did you attack us?!"

"Who am I?" The man asked only a raspy chackle can be heard. This made Amity ticked as she grits her teeth and giving a glare.

"WHAT'S SO DAMN FUNNY?!" Amity shouted from the top of her lungs.

"Oh, Amity Blight. You amused me with your demands." Said the cloaked man.

Amity eyes shot widen and felt her blood freeze when he said her full name "H-How do… How do you know my name?" Amity asked afraid.

The cloaked man walked up to her spoke in a low creepy voice "How could I not know a Blight when I seen one? It's as if Miss Fortune is smiling down on me when I saw you with the human in the forest."

Amity felt her throat dry and she's sweating nervously. The man places his hands on his hood "You asked me who I am, correct?" He took his hood off.

The air became cold for both Amity and Luz when they see him. He has long snowy hair that look very messy down on his neck, his face has winkles. His hands and arms are covered with scars, while wearing a white and grey clothing. But what scared the girls her his eyes. Pitch black with only white pupils shining with dark circles under them, with a huge scar over his right eye, which cut from brow to down near his shoulder. And his creepy smile with ragged teeth with stitches at the end of both sides.

"My name… is Julius Forster."

Hearing his name made Amity gasp in shock "F-Forster…? As in Julius S Forster?!" Said Amity in surprised. Luz looks at Amity confused.

"Ah, I see my reputation is still admired by the youth." Said Julius.

"Amity…? Do you know this guy?" Luz asked.

"O-Only by name…" Amity answered "He was one of the most skilled healers in the Healing Coven. Due of his skills, I heard that Emperor Belos made him leader of the Healing Coven."

"Well, if he's from the Healing Coven, then why is he here instead doing whatever Coven Leaders do?"

"From what I heard he commit a heinous crime. I don't know the details… but you were supposed to be dead! The news of your death from 20 years ago said you were killed!"

"Oh, I faked my death. When the Emperors Coven caught wind of my activities I was forced to go in hiding. However, Belos and his Emperors Coven are perceptive, and put an price on my head. Two weeks I've been on the run. But I knew my luck would run out and get myself caught."

"So, how did you escape alive?!" Amity demand.

"I stole an elixir from someone who were in the Potion Coven I've killed." Answer Julius.

"You… You killed someone…?" Luz asked in shocked "Why would you do that?!"

Julius didn't answer but just snicker at Luz question. Amity glared at Julius furiously "What elixir did you stole?!" Amity shouted.

"Sleepy Death." Julius answered which made Amity heart stop beating for a moment.

"What's a… Sleepy Death?" Luz asked nervously knowing it isn't sound good.

"It's an paralyze potion human." Said Julius "Created by an old friend of mine. It stops your body motor functions which leaves you in a death-like state. Alive yet dead, on the border of life and death. Its effects last for a day at least. Just as the name pronounce, I was in a death-like state when those Emperors Coven worms found me. They believed I commit suicide!" Julius laughs menacingly "Those fools bought it! Since then, I stayed low these last two decades until the time was right."

"For what?! It doesn't explain what you want from us?!" Luz shouted, "What is it you want?!"

Julius stares at Luz with those white piercing eyes, which made her spine shiver.

"To live…"

Both Luz and Amity raised a brow in confusion. They look at each other before looking back at the former Coven Leader.

"What?" Amity spoke.

"To live… forever."

"Live forever?"

"Yes. You see children, there's one thing I'm afraid more than Belos himself. And that is…" Julius voice get low and raspy as he stares at them with that deranged smile "DEATH ITSELF."

Both girls getting a dread feeling as they are sweating in fear "You see when I was in that death-like state… There was… Nothing. I couldn't feel my body, nor see a single light. Something I've always fear. That is why I begin to find a way to cheat death."

"W-What's that…?" Amity stammered her words afraid. With Julius staring at her with no emotions.

"To reanimate the dead, my dear Blight." Julius answered emotionless.

Hearing that made their hearts beating faster, as the crazed old man continue as he grabs one of his surgery tools "If I could bring the dead back, then I will be immortal. Gaining immortality is what I dream of."

"S-So… Those c-crimes y-you committed…" Amity stuttering "…w-were you…?"

"Experimenting on the living." Answer Julius.

The girls became horrified to hear that this man, who used to be a Head Coven Leader of the Healing Coven, was experimenting of living things. Something that Amity was horrified the most.

"Necromancy?! Don't you know bringing back the dead is dangerous?!" Amity shouted.

"Which is why I tested on them." Julius spun his fingers to cast a spell circle as the curtains opened to reveal jars of organs and body parts resting on the selves.

Amity and Luz gasp in horror as they see appear to be the missing denizens, from Bonesborough. What's left of them. Luz starting to gag as she looked away vomit a bit on the floor. While Amity just kept staring as it burns into her mind. She looked at Julius with her shocked expression turned into pure hate.

"You… monster!" Amity sneer at the former Coven Leader "You're the one who been kidnapping people these last two weeks?!"

"That's right." Said Julius honestly "For years I've trying to unlock the secret for immortality. I'm this close to finding the answer. My pervious experiments were almost successful. But failed to achieve my long-life goal."

"F-Failed… experiments? Those other people you taken, were they been experimented by you?!" Luz shouted with tearful eyes.

"Yes, sadly they didn't achieve the expectation I was hoping for. However…" Julius took a scalpel from the tray as he looked at the terrifying girls "To create a perfect… experiment. You two are the perfect specimens for me to finally achieve my… long awaited… dream of immortality."

Now the two begin panicking, desperately trying to break free, and hopefully away from their captor. But the straps are too tight and held them down. Julius coldly chuckled at their attempt.

"It's no used younglings. I made sure those straps are super tight. Can't have my two patients run away, would we?" Said Julius as he walked up to them with scalpel in hand "Now it's time… Let's begin the experiment, shall we."

"NO! STAY AWAY FROM US! STAY AWAY!" Amity shouting, all she could feel now is fear for her and for Luz.

But it was no use, their screams echoed through the old building. Away from anyone who could help.

Eda drinking some Apple Blood as she and King watch some drama romance on the crystal ball. And Eda doesn't like it one bit.

"Geez, you can this garbage a show? I prefer to watch a Death Match between two cyclops." Said Eda.

"I've watched this show with Luz, and I find it moving." Said King eating some candy.

"Oh please, this is nothing but mooching lovey dovely crap. And I swore that Luz like shows that are dark humor?"

"You'll ask her yourself when she gets back."

"Speaking of Luz." Lilith who was sitting in a corner with bile's of books and papers of glyphs tapped on a chalkboard along with drawings "Shouldn't she be back by now? She been gone for almost two hours."

"Uh, now that you mention it. She has been gone a bit longer than she should." Eda realizes but shrugged it off "But it's Luz, that girl always been gone longer. Like the time when she though she was the chosen one." Eda chuckled.

"Oh, yeah." King also laughs "That's a good memory."

"Chosen one? When was this?" Lilith asked.

"The second day when she was here. Had her make some deliveries, but almost became the next victim to some puppeteer." Eda explained to Lilith "But if I know that girl, I'm sure she's alright."

Suddenly, the door flew open "Eda! Luz little friends are here! Hoot!" Screech Hooty.

Walking in is Willow and Gus, both holding bags with worry expressions. When Eda, King, and Lilith sees them Eda stood up and walked up to them. Confused to why they're here.

"Hey, what you two doing here?" Eda asked the two.

"Miss Eda, is Luz here? Or Amity?" Gus asked worried.

"The Blight girl? No neither her nor Luz is here." Eda replied, "I thought she's with you?"

"We were waiting for her to show up." Willow explained "But when she didn't show up at the time she set up, we beginning to worry."

"Not only that, but we also ran into Edric and Emria on our why over. Said that Amity didn't came back home." Said Gus "They went to the library only to find out she's not there this morning."

"Then that's when we found these out in the woods." Willow and Gus show them the bags.

That's when Eda worry become concerned. The only one who could realize this was Lilith "Dear Titan…" Lilith whispered "…You don't think they're…?"

"Luz… what the happen to you!" Eda thought.

Amity winching in pain. Sweat on her forehead, and her throat is sore from her screams. Blinking unsteady as her heart beating faster. Her body is in a whole pain. She just witnesses all of it. Every. Single. Bit. Her right hand is missing fingers while her left leg been cut off. Blood all over the table and floor, even on her clothes.

She watched as Luz is in agony. Whimpering while her breaths rasping. Her tears stained on her face as Amity laid and watch as her friend being ripped apart bit by bit. Luz is missing her right arm and eye. With cuts all over. Luz breathing is getting slower with blood coming out from her mouth, down on her cheek. Yet, Amity couldn't do anything. Feeling her eyes tearing up.

"L-Luz…" Amity weakly called out to her.

"A-Amity…" Luz weakly spoke witching in pain "I-It hurts… It hurts so much…"

"I know…" Amity trying to reach Luz hand "P-Please… h-hang on."

Julius hummed to himself. As he continued working. Amity screams in pain as her right arm been cut off. Blood coming out from the wound as Amity kept focus her gaze on Luz. While silently whimper.

"A-Amity…?" Luz called out to her "I… I can't feel anything now."

"Luz please… whatever you do, don't close your eyes."

"I-I… feel…"

"Luz… stay with me… T-There's still something I-I d-didn't tell yet. Please… stay with me."

"A-Amity…?" Luz smiled weakly "Thanks… for… being… there… for… me…"

With that Luz eye closed. Her breathing ease as she laid there motionless. Amity tears finally broke as they slide down on her face. She's gone. The only one who she loves is gone. Died before her eyes, feeling her heart shattered to pieces.

Looking at the man, swirl of emotions builds up. Anger and sadness are all remains. Glaring at the man who took Luz away from her.

"Y-You… monster. You goddamn monster." Amity spoke gritting her teeth "You… You killed her. You killed my friend you monster…"

"I want to live." Said Julius not looking at her "Eternal life, is within my reach."

Amity looked back at Luz body one last time. Feeling her live ending, she rested her head. Taking one last breath before accepting her end. The only thought she has in mind is Luz. She can be able to be with Luz in the afterlife. Be with her together forever, as she closed her eyes. As darkness took hold.

Okay, wow… just… wow. Okay, this might be the most darkest chapter I've ever done.

Sorry if I made most of you cry during this chapter. But don't worry they're not going to stay dead. Even if that's worst then before.

I'll try to get more of this. But might be doing other things so… yeah, again, sorry if I made you guys cried. I'll see you guys later. I guess.
