A/N: And here, we finally have another chapter for "Raya and the Last Dragons" coming today. And guess what? Next week on Friday the 13th, The Legendary Super Saiyan Saga on Dragon Ball GT would finally be released as a story in this website. For those of you who don't know, the Legendary Super Saiyan Saga is a what-if saga if it aired instead of the Baby Saga and became canon, set to take place after "Dragon Ball Super". But enough about it for now. Now, this is where we get to see a new OC voiced by Lucy Liu named Zei. And there would also be a similar moment in this from a scene from "The lion King" for dramatic effect. :) Enjoy this fantastic chapter. :)
Disney's Raya and the Last Dragons
Chapter 3: Retrieving the Talon Gem; The Journey to Spine
Meanwhile, Sisu swam underwater, passing by a school of fish before then swimming up to the surface, or at least near it, much to Raya's, if not Banja's worry.
"Sisu? Sisu?", Banja spoke in a hushed tone before Sisu emerged from the water with a sigh.
"Please. You have to get out of the water.", Banja urged whisperingly.
"I'm a water dragon. This is water. It's sort of my thing. You wanna come in?", Sisu offered.
"You don't understand. Someone could see you.", Banja urged.
"Oh. Do you mean Captain Pop and Lock over there?", Sisu asked
"What, are you scared he's gonna challenge me to a dance battle?", Sisu asked.
"That's NOT about the dance battle and you know that!", Banja whispered before then going in front of Sisu to make sure Buon doesn't see her as he was using utensils like a sort of drum sticks before Banja tried to hide Sisu again before she could show herself and then turned to Sisu.
"Sisu, we saw people lose their minds over a Dragon Gem. Can you imagine what they'd do to you if they find out you're an actual dragon?", Banja stated.
"Look, we need you to make this all work. Until we have all the gems, you have to stay human. Please.", Raya pleaded.
"Wow, you really got some trust issues.", Sisu responded.
"And for good reason…! My father blindly trusted people, and now, look where he is. Turned to stone by the druun. The very Druun Namaari released all those years ago. And I've hated her ever since.", Banja responded fondly, starting to shed tears, before Sisu then got out of the water and morphed back to human form.
"Hey, we'll get your ba back. I got you and Raya, guy. Come on, who's your dragon?", Sisu spoke before Banja gave a sort of grunt at her, urging her to change the word she said.
"I mean, human. Because I'm gonna be a human until… Yeah, you… You get it.", Sisu spoke.
"Good.", Banja responded after chuckling a bit before Boun then set up chairs for the trio and even prepared some soup.
"Okay, who's hungry?", the young chef asked, setting 3 up.
"Oh, I am.", Sisu grinned.
"Two house specials. How spicy would you like it? Hot, hotter, or Boun-goes-the-dynamite?", Boun asked, preparing some spices.
"Bring on the heat!", Sisu spoke excitedly before Banja stopped her.
"No! I don't think so.", Banja refused.
"Uh, what are you doing?", Sisu puzzled.
"We don't know him. It could be poison.", Banja whispered.
"Why would he poison us?", Sisu asked whisperingly.
"Yeah, why would I poison you?", Boun asked.
"First, to steal my sister's jade purse, second, to steal our swords, and third, for all I know to kidnap Tuk Tuk.", Banja responded, prompting Tuk Tuk to give a surprised reaction.
"All good points, but if this is poison…", Boun began before slurping the soup.
"…you're gonna die happy.", Boun finished.
"Sorry, but no. We're not interested.", Banja dismissed before he got out some jackroot jerky and took a bite, making a face before noticing Sisu eating the soup.
"This is delicious. By the way, not poison.", Sisu spoke as she tried some spices.
"Huh. Guess I was mistaken.", Banja spoke.
"And even if it isn't poisonous, it is very hot.", Raya spoke before Sisu started panting heavily.
"It's hot. Ooh, it's hot! It's hot! It's really hot! Oh, my! Oh! Water! Boun? Captain Boun? We need water on deck!", Sisu exclaimed as Banja and Raya laughed.
Meanwhile, Namaari and her men were running across the grass until Namaari stopped them for a moment and then sadly moved forward, paying respects to the dragons who were turned to stone before eventually turning around and then forming a circle with her hands as she held them up high.
At the river, Raya, Banja, Tuk Tuk, Sisu, and Boun all saw the Druun on the forest, making poor Tuk Tuk whimper.
"I know, buddy.", Raya spoke.
"You know, during the day, you can almost forget they're here, but at night… This is why I never leave the boat.", Boun responded.
"You're a smart kid.", Banja grinned.
"What are Druun, anyways?", Boun asked.
"A plague. Born from human discord. They've always been here. Waiting for a moment of weakness to attack. They're like the opposite of dragons. Instead of bringing water and life to the world, they're like a relentless fire that consumes everything in its wake until there's nothing left except ash and stone.", Sisu responded.
"They took my family.", Boun responded sadly.
"They took mine, too.", Sisu responded before picking up a flower, gently tapping it onto her forehead and then placing it onto the water with Boun, Raya, and eventually, Raya, doing the same as well.
"Looks like we're here. So, where are you guys heading after Talon? I might be heading there, too. I mean, for a fee, of course.", Boun spoke.
"Of course.", Raya grinned.
"Just as long as it isn't too expensive.", Banja added.
Before they knew it, the group finally arrived at Talon.
"Wow! What a smart way to Druun-proof your house. Build right on the water. People of Talon are geniuses.", Sisu grinned.
"Yeah. Talon may look nice, but it's a hotspot for pickpockets and con artists.", Banja spoke.
"Lucky for me. Empty pockets!", Sisu grinned.
"And good for you,", Banja responded.
"Okay, so here's the good news. I know where the gem piece is. The bad news? It's being held by the notorious Chief of Talon, Dang Hai.", Raya spoke.
"They say that what Dang Hai lacks in style, he more than makes up for in intimidation.", Banja added as it then showed Dang Hai, who turned to face forward and smirked.
"Gotcha. Now, we're just gonna have to turn up the charm.", Sisu spoke.
"And what do you mean by that?", Banja asked.
"Let's go get him a gift.", Sisu spoke as she was about to go before Banja stopped her.
"Sorry, Sisu, but I think maybe it's safer for you to stay here on the boat.", Banja responded.
"What?", Sisu puzzled.
"Well, without you, we can't put the gem back together.", Banja responded.
"But I wanna help.", Sisu responded.
"I know, and you will. By staying safe.", Banja assured.
"We'll be back before you know it.", Raya added before she and Banja started off.
"If you see any hungry faces, send 'em my way.", Boun spoke.
"You got it, Captain.", Raya grinned.
Sometime later, as Raya and Banja explores the village, a few Ongis noticed them and hid away from Raya, Banja, and Tuk Tuk before smirking as soon as they were far enough away.
"All right, there's Dang Hai's house.", Raya grinned.
"Perfect. No detours till we get that Dragon Gem.", Banja responded before the two overheard some crying nearby and turned to see a woman holding a baby, one of which were crying.
"Whoa. What in the…", Raya spoke.
"Uh, hey. Are you two okay?", Banja asked, stepping forward with Raya following.
"Huh? Oh. I'm sorry. I'm just so relieved to see my daughter safe and sound.", the woman responded, shedding "tears of joy".
"Uh… Okay. So, who are you two?", Banja asked as the three ongis turned up, prompting a growl from Tuk Tuk.
"Well, my name is Zei and this cute baby is Noi.", Zei responded as the ongis then offered Tuk Tuk some food before then climbing up across him.
"So, what were you two doing in an alleyway like this?", Raya asked.
"Well, I was just trying to make sure not to get caught by those bad people around the village.", Zei responded before Banja then spoke up, clasping onto the handle of his sword.
"Even bad people like you?", Banja asked before drawing his sword and pressing it gently against Zei's neck, shocking Raya.
"Banja! What are you doing?", Raya asked in shock.
"Did you really think I wouldn't figure you out? I know those fake crying eyes from anywhere. Heck, I even used them on our ba 2 or 3 times to get what I want when I was young.", Banja spoke before Zei smirked.
"Wow. You're smarter than you look. But you're still walking away empty-handed.", Zei spike.
"What?", Banja puzzled before turning to notice the ongis confiscating the 2 dragon gem pieces.
"What? Ongis?", Raya spoke in surprise before the ongis chittered as one of them hid one of the gem pieces behind it.
"Drop 'em!", Banja shouted before the ongis took off, giving Noi the opportunity to pull the hat down in front of Banja, blocking his view before kicking him back and blinding him with dust as she, Zei, and the ongis left with the dragon gem pieces.
"You should've kept your guard up!", Zei shouted as she ran, making Banja grunt in frustration.
"Really? A con-baby?", Raya puzzled in the same amount of frustration before she and Banja went after Noi and Zei as Tuk Tuk followed after them.
Meanwhile, Sisu was at a loss on what she should do.
"Ah, this is giving me bad feels. Chief Dang Hai does not sound like someone you could smooth talk. And neither Raya nor Banja even brought a gift.", Sisu spoke before getting an idea as well as realizing something else.
"That's it. I'm going shopping. Oh, wait. I don't have any money.", Sisu realized.
"You're an adult. You could just put it on credit.", Boun suggested.
"Oh… Uh, what's credit?", Sisu puzzled.
"It's kinda like a promise. You take what you want now, and you promise you'll pay it back later.", Boun explained.
"Pay it back later? Huh! What an amazing concept. Thanks, Captain Boun.", Sisu thanked before later, going out into the village.
Presently, she picked up a paper fish, a necklace display with the necklace, and the outfit and hat.
"I'll be buying this with credit. Oh, Dang Hai's gonna love this! Credit, please. Oh, I like that. Uh, yeah, I'll be using credit, yes. I love credit!", Sisu spoke excitedly.
But the joy did not last long as a male merchant saw her and called out.
"Hey, you! Are you going to pay for any of that?", the male merchant asked as he and the other villagers surrounded her.
"Oh! Right, right. No, this is on credit. Yeah, I'm gonna pay it back later.", Sisu explained.
"Pay us back later? We don't know you.", the merchant responded.
"You have no credit here. Pay us right now.", another added, worrying Sisu immensely.
"Now? I don't have anything, but if I could just find my girl Raya, she has a sword, dried eats, two Dragon Gem pieces.", Sisu spoke before she suddenly realized what she just said.
"No, we don't! What? Who said that?", Sisu spoke upon realizing what was just said aloud in the heat of the moment.
"You better pay up, binturi.", the male merchant urged.
"This isn't a charity.", the female merchant added.
"Who do you think you're stealing from?", the male merchant interrogated before the chief got in his way, prompting him to move away.
"Get away from her! Can't you see she's new in town?", the chief exclaimed before turning to Sisu.
"Come, dear. Don't be afraid. It's okay.", the chief assured.
Meanwhile, Raya and Banja were chasing after Noi, Zei, and the Ongis as they even ran across the bridge with Tuk Tuk forced to stop as he's too big for the bridge before heading off to the left. By this time, Zei, carrying Noi, and the ongis jumped off the bridge and landed on a boat, which happened to have a male merchant in the boat.
"Hey, watch out!", the male merchant urged.
"Sorry, sir!", Zei shouted in response before they jumped off while Raya and Banja noticed this and followed them in pursuit another way with Noi and the ongis flinging the fruit at her by means of catapulting, only for them to be brushed aside by Raya's weapon with Raya going up the stairs so she can get the jump on them from above before landing in a boat in front of them only for the little troublemakers to grab a pole and fling themselves off with Noi then doing a one-hand clapping motion.
"Bye!", Noi mouthed before she and the ongis then landed with Noi laughing, setting Raya off as she growled angrily.
But that didn't stop there. Her eyes then became slit-like while her tail sporuted out and her growls turned into that of a beast's before she then dashed forward quickly, surprising Banja.
"Raya! Wait up!", Banja shouted as he followed after Raya, who followed after Noi and Zei, who turned to the former.
"Inocming!", Zei shouted before Noi then deployed her diaper toward Raya, who dodged it as did Banja, who exclaimed.
"Diaper!", Banja shouted before Zei and the ongis quickly helped put a new diaper on Noi, who then turned to the others and blew a raspberry before she, Zei, and the ongis then went through the hole with Raya and Banja relentless in their pursuit before Tuk Tuk managed to stop the thieves in their tracks by slamming the gate on them, knocking them back and looking up to see the livid Raya and Banja.
"The gem pieces. Now!", Banja urged as Raya gave beastly panting growls before she realized what she was doing and grew puzzled just as Noi and Zei hurriedly gave the pieces back to Banja.
"You two should be ashamed of yourselves. Using your mother and baby charm to rip people off, much less try to steal them…, that's a dirty move.", Banja spoke as Noi exclaimed indignantly.
"What would your family think about any of this?", Banja asked.
"We don't have a family.", Zei retorted before she and Noi left with one of the ongis posing as someone who got turned to stone.
"Oh… Right.", Banja realized.
"We can't just leave them like this.", Raya spoke.
"I know, but what are we gonna do?", Banja asked in responde before he then came up with an idea as he widened his eyes before speaking up.
"Hey, you two.", Banja spoke, puzzling Noi and Zei.
"What?", Zei asked.
"How'd you guys like to earn an honest loot for a change?", Banja asked.
"Gah?", Noi puzzled.
"Go on.", Zei responded.
Later, the guards of the Talon palace were present when Zei.
"Guards! Help! Please! I need your help! It's my baby! I can't find her anywhere!", Zei shouted in panic.
"Your baby? Don't worry, ma'am! We'll get right on it!", the guard assured before another spoke.
"Can you tell us where you last saw your kid?", another asked.
"I don't know, somewhere in the marketplace? I can show you guys the way.", Zei asked nervously.
"Then that's where we'll look first. To me, men!", the guard shouted before he ran with the others following him, who followed Zei, who looked back to see Raya and Banja before winking to them and turning back.
After that, the two then burst in and stepped toward a sort of figure up front.
"All right, Dang Hai. Hand over that Dragon Gem piece and no one has to get hurt.", Banja spoke before the figure turned around, revealed to not quite be the man they're looking for.
"Whoa! I'm not Dang Hai.", the man responded.
"What? You're not…? Who are you, then?", Banja puzzled.
"I'm Chai, the flower guy.", Chai greeted.
"Where's Dang Hai?", Raya asked.
"He's right over there.", Chai chuckled, pointing to an apparent stone statue of him.
"The Druun got to him.", Raya guessed.
"If Dang Hai was turned to stone by the druun, then who has his gem piece?", Banja asked.
"The most vicious chief Talon has ever seen.", Chai responded with a chuckle.
"Who took over for him?", Banja asked.
Meanwhile, Sisu and the latest chief, otherwise known as Dang Hu, walked together.
"Those folks were, like, crazy mad. I just wanted to bring some gifts to the Talon chief Dang Hai.", Sisu responded.
"Is that who you're looking for, dear? I know exactly where he is.", Dang Hu assured.
"You do?", Sisu asked in surprise.
"Mm-hmm. I will take you there.", Dang Hu assured.
"See? That's what I've been trying to tell my girl Raya and my boy Banja. And they're all like, 'You can't trust people.' 'Don't talk to anyone.' 'I only eat terrible foods I dried myself.'", Sisu responded as the drawbridge was then lowered before Dang Hu laughed.
"Come, dear. Chief Dang Hai is just outside the city, beyond the gates.", Dang Hu assured.
"Away from the water, huh? Wow. He really likes living on the edge.", Sisu spoke before the door opened.
"Hi there, Dang Hai. Um, I'm Sisu, and I've come here to offer you some…", Sisu spoke before she only saw someone turned to stone, much to her puzzlement and worry before she heard an unsettling sound and saw a druun headed right for her!
But the strangest thing was, when it charged at her and the light of the dragon gem stopped it, the druun was revealed to be a familiar face to her as she saw that face with her dragon vision.
"Quynh?!", Sisu exclaimed in surprise.
"Now, you're going to tell me where I can find those other Dragon Gem pieces, or I'll have to leave you outside with that thing. Take your pick.", Dang Hu threatened.
"But I… I trusted you.", Sisu spoke in disbelief.
"Big mistake. You better talk fast. It looks hungry.", Dang Hu smirked as the doors started to close before the druun charged in only to pass Sisu and then stop near Dang Hu before speaking to her with a reverse echo.
"Where's the chosen savior?", Quynh asked.
"How do you know you're not looking at her?", Dang Hu smirked with a bluff.
"Hold on. You can hear him, too?", Sisu puzzled before Quynh laughed.
"You think I'm a fool? I know you're not the chosen savior, NONE OF YOU! I heard how the gem was starting to come back together, all thanks to a young warrior unlike anything the world has ever seen.", Quynh spoke just as Sisu saw Raya and Banja, along with Noi, Zei, and the ongis, riding on top of Tuk Tuk as they went up the stairs quickly.
"Raya?", Sisu puzzled just before the warrior in question burst in as Banja snatched the gem piece from Dang Hu's hand.
"Raya! Banja!", Sisu shouted.
"Stop her!", Dang Hu ordered as Tuk Tuk turned around.
"Sisu, I told you to stay on the boat.", Banja spoke in slight frustration.
"Sorry!", Sisu apologized.
"Hold on to this for me, will ya?", Banja asked, giving the gem to Raya, who then started to grow talons while her face, feet, and tail became more dragon-like in an uncontrollable manner just as Sisu started to develop fog before Tuk Tuk sped out the gates with the Druun stepping out, turning Dang Hu's guards into stone and noticed the group leaving quickly.
"Fog?", Banja puzzled.
"Yeah. That was my brother Jagan's magic.", Sisu responded.
"Okay. Three down, two to go.", Raya grinned, not knowing that Quynh (or rather, a druun) had already seen what happened to Raya as he gave chase before attempting to touch anyone close by as he did so on the way before failing to touch Noi and Zei as they got on just in time before growling steadily with a smirk.
"So, that is her name. Raya… Finally. A worthy opponent. Once I regain my physical form, our battle will be legendary!", Quynh smirked before setting out to turn the rest of talon to stone as Dang Hu could only watch in shock.
Meanwhile, the others were starting to leave Talon with Raya's changes turning back to human form after a moment since boarding the boat.
"All right, Captain Boun, next stop, Spine…!", Raya exclaimed as she had to duck beneath abowl tossed away as Noi and the ongis started eating.
"Thanks for the new customers!", Boun greeted.
"Yeah, I sort of promised to buy them all the congee they could eat.", Banja spoke.
"Well, we're stuck with them for a while 'cause ongis have nine stomachs.", Boun stated.
"Oh, toi.", Banja sighed.
"Well, you promised.", Zei responded.
"I know what I did.", Banja responded.
"I can't believe it. That old lady was really gonna hurt me.", Sisu spoke in disbelief.
"Well, I'm sorry, Sisu, but that's what the world is now. You can't trust anyone. Not anymore.", Banja responded before Sisu sighed and then turned to Banja.
"Does that include babies?", Sisu asked.
"Well, they're more like the exception of the rule. Turns out, they've been through the same amount of hardships as us.", Banja responded.
"Oh. Well, in that case…, She's so cute. I mean, look at those cheeks.", Sisu grinned before Noi then went for Sisu's cheeks and mumbled.
"Aw, she wants to know what your name is.", Zei grinned.
"Hi, I'm Sisu.", Sisu greeted before Noi tried to speak her name and then laughed as she climbed up while Zei was a bit intrigued to say the least.
"Huh. Funny. That's the name of the Dragon that saved all of humanity.", Zei spoke.
"She loves my face.", Sisu grinned in a slight muffle.
"Yeah, just make sure she doesn't steal your teeth.", Banja smirked.
"Here, let me help you.", Raya offered.
"Oh, that's so sweet.", Sisu spoke before Noi mumbled
"Okay, that's, uh… That's too much sweet… Too much sweetness. It's too much!", Sisu shouted as Banja laughed.
Meanwhile, the next morning, several druun were invading the wildlife, although unable to get to the palace itself beyond it: the Palace of Fang.
"Chief Janto, Chief Virana, we're running out of room. We need to expand to the mainland.", General Atitaya urged.
"And how do you propose we handle the Druun, General Atitāya? Without proper protection, it would be a death sentence for our people.", Virana responded before hearing heavy footsteps and turning to see Namaari.
"I might have a solution for that, Mother.", Namaari assured as she walked in, making a circle with her hands and making Virana gasp softly as Janto turned to see her as well.
"My little morning mist…", Virana spoke in surprise.
"My little lotus blossom… It's good to see you home.", Janto grinned as he hugged Namaari.
"I located Raya and Banja. They're out stealing gem pieces.", Namaari spoke.
"What?", Janto puzzled.
"I'd like to take the royal army and intercept them in Spine.", Namaari requested before Virana scoffed.
"Well, if they're going into Spine, I doubt there'll be much left of them to intercept.", Virana discouraged.
"They're more capable than you realize. We have to stop them.", Namaari urged before Virana sighed.
"Walk with me.", Virana spoke before she and her daughter walk out with Janto walking with them.
"Look around. We made all this by making smart decisions, not emotional ones. We are safe. Our canal protects us from those monsters. I don't think it's wise to risk yourself when you don't have to.", Virana responded.
"But you heard the general. We're running out of space. We need to expand. If we had all the gem pieces, we could do that safely. You're right. This isn't an emotional decision. It's the only decision we can make to secure Fang's future.", Namaari responded before Virana chuckled softly.
"Namaari, you're truly growing into the leader I raised you to be. General Atitāya, ready the royal army for my daughter's command.", Virana ordered as she thumped her staff.
"Thank you, Mother. I won't let you down.", Namaari assured before Janto spoke to Namaari.
"Namaari, there's something I should tell you about how you came to be.", Janot began.
"Thanks. But can it wait until after the mission? Seriously, though.", Namaari politely responded, making Janto sigh.
"Well, I suppose so…", Janto sighed.
Meanwhile, a piece of shrimp landed on the map, puzzling Raya and Banja before they noticed Noi , Zei, and the ongis eating away, much to Boun's annoyance.
"Hey! Stop eating!", Boun shouted before he chased them away with some spice landing in some of Tuk Tuk's food.
"No, wait! That food is spiced!", Zei warned before Tuk Tuk stopped too late, getting a very spicy taste, and then spat the food out into the water.
"Sorry, buddy, I got this.", Raya assured before she stood up and saw the commotion.
"Did you just throw a shrimp at me? That's not even edible!", Boun shouted.
"Hey! Uh… Hey, guys?", Raya asked.
"Don't look at me like that, you fuzzy garbage can!", Boun shouted before Raya spoke up.
"Guys! Do you wanna play hide-and-seek?", Raya asked, exciting Noi and the ongis.
"All right. Ready? One. Two.", Raya counted as Noi and the ongis hid in various spots.
"Thanks.", Boun thanked whisperingly.
"Two and a half. Three.", Raya counted.
"Remind me to never have kids.", Banja spoke to Sisu.
"Being people is hard.", Sisu spoke.
"Yeah.", Banja agreed.
"Six. Seven.", Raya counted.
"You have small heads. No tails. You lie to get what you want, like the Talon chief back there.", Sisu responded.
"Not me. And certainly not Raya, either. And can you blame them? The world's broken now. You can't trust anyone anymore these days.", Banja responded.
"Or maybe the world's broken because you don't trust anyone.", Sisu responded before Banja chuckled softly.
"You know, you're starting to sound just like my ba.", Banja responded.
"Well, he sounds like a smart man.", Sisu responded.
"Yeah, he was. Raya and I really wanted to believe him. We really wanted to believe that we could be Kumandra again…", Banja responded.
"And we can.", Sisu assured.
"I'm not so sure. Thousands of people turned to stone would say otherwise.", Banja retorted.
"That doesn't mean you shouldn't try.", Sisu responded.
"Yeah? Well, we did. And you know what happened? Raya and I got kicked in the back by someone who gave my sister a gift. Just look around you. We're a world of orphans because people couldn't stop fighting over a gem. Wanna know why other dragons didn't come back? It's because people don't deserve them.", Banja responded.
"But you can change that.", Sisu assured.
"No, Sisu! I am DONE trying! You think it's that easy to make something change and then suddenly start making life get better like rainbows and kittens? It's not, nor will it ever be! I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Kumandra is nothing but a fairy tale! The only thing important to me and Raya now is bringing our ba back and nothing is going to get in the way of that! Nothing! You don't even know what we've been through!", Banja exclaimed as Raya watched the whole thing since Banja started shouting.
"So? That's why you need to tell me. So that I do know. I thought it was clear.", Sisu responded.
"Forget it!", Banja retorted.
"Um… I hate to interrupt this incredibly awkward moment, but… I think we're in Spine.", Boun spoke.
"Well…, this is the place, all right.", Raya spoke.
After a moment, Sisu made off with a bowl and lid and jumped across the steps.
"Sisu! What are you doing?!", Banja shouted.
"Hey, my congee!", Boun shouted.
"Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back.", Raya assured as she and Banja went after Sisu.
Sometime later, they finally arrived at the front gates, which appeared to be covered in snow for the top part.
"Sisu! Come back! Please!", Raya shouted.
"What do… What do you think you're doing?", Banja asked.
"I'm going to show you that you're wrong!", Sisu exclaimed in response.
"How? By getting squashed by a bunch of Spine rage-heads?!", Banja exclaimed back in response.
"No. By proving to you that if you wanna get someone's trust, you have to give a little trust first.", Sisu responded.
"What good is giving them your trust if they're just going to stab you in the back like Dang Hu did with you?!", Banja shouted, finally crossing the line before Sisu huffed.
"Fine. I'll prove it, then.", Sisu responded before reaching in for the knob on the gate and knocking it, setting off a trap that caught both her, Raya, and Banja.
"In hindsight, maybe I was a little hasty.", Sisu spoke.
"A little?!", Banja exclaimed.
"But, uh, who's hungry? No? I'll leave you alone.", Sisu responded.
A/N: Looks like Banja's starting to have a sort of rocky relationship with Sisu. And as if that wasn't bad enough, he and the others got trapped in a bag set up in Spine. Where would things go from there? Oh, and also, Dustin Hoffman, who voiced Shifu in Kung Fu Panda, voices Janto, Namaari's father. Well, that's just something we'll have to see for ourselves next week. And with that out of the way, I can now focus on making sure the story is ready for next week. Until next time. ;)
