This is just a backstory chapter. It's basically a history lesson. It actually is important, so please read it. (We all know you were thinking about it) Thank you for taking the time to read this! (Sure you're not one of those people who sits on fanfiction all day and looks for things to read. I'm Guilty!) Enjoy!
Once upon a time, I've always wanted to write that, OK I'll stop bothering you, Hecate had some legacy's. They didn't have a strong enough aura, and they were in the UK, so they didn't end up at a camp. These legacy's never knew their true identity and they went about normal life. They got married and had children. These children inherited the strange power of magic. This is where the witch legends came from.
Eventually Hecate noticed these magic welders and saw that they were too far removed from the gods to teach them their ways. So she gave them the powers of wand and potion making and they evolved creating schools of 'Wizardry'.
Hecate saw this world as her pet world, a little project of hers. But when it started to spread and more and more of the population grew, she decided to introduce herself to the wizards. But not as Hecate goddess of magic and the Mist, no she was Duchesses Hecate of the prestigious Olympia family.
She informed the gods and demigods of this and soon they were revered in the wizarding world as royalty. The demigods had something to say when questioned by Wizards, and Hecate was happy. She even blessed some people with her gift and they became the Muggleborns.
The End.
So I need to explain this a little more. The Olympia family is royalty and is the only paid attention to lesson in History of Magic. They are an extremely powerful family with many half-blood children and come from Greece and Italy. The ranks are: King and Queen for Poseidon, Zeus, Hades and their wives. Royal Duke/ Duchess for the rest of the council, Hestia included because she deserves recognition. Duke and Duchess for all the minor gods and goddesses. They are keeping the same names because I'm too lazy to think up new ones. The people of the Wizarding World don't know much about Greek Mythology so they don't suspect anything.
Thanks for reading this!
