"You want us to do what now!" Shock slammed its way across her friend's face as Chiron said again this time slightly frustrated, "you are to go on a kind of quest. To protect the only hope for another hidden world, the Wizarding World." Grace Peters, daughter of Athena sat in the big house at camp Half-blood along with her friend Morgan Sabers, daughter of Hades. "You want us to go protect someone from a freaking dark lord in another gods dammed country!" Grace sat silently it was August 14 and based on what she had heard they would travel to Europe to protect a fifteen-year-old boy by the name of Harry Potter. "Chiron how are we supposed to blend in? After all, we cannot harness the same magic, you describe." The camp activities director and local centaur gave her a reassuring look saying, "the goddess Hecate has already taken care of that. While you require it, you will have the ability to cast the same magic as the other students."
"Well, one problem down about a hundred left." The dry remark coming from Morgan as she asked in the same dry tone, "and how are we to hide our heritage when every place I go I am pursued by monsters?" Grace thought this a fair question as being a child of one of the big three, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades her friend was a guaranteed monster magnet. "You will carry your normal weapons with you and will most likely be safe as long as you don't do anything stupid or brash." Well, that was going to be a bit of a problem as brash was kind of Morgan's middle name. "How are we going to get to England when I definitely should not fly or sail since neither Zeus nor Poseidon are very fond of me?" Chiron just glanced at the clock saying, "he should be here momentarily." CRACK!
Morgan's Nunchucks were out in less than a moment as a tall figure appeared in the room. The man wore long sweeping robes of the lightest blue and had long silver hair with the beard to match. "Who the Hades are you?" She snapped as Grace lay a hand on the bronze cylinder at her side. "Morgan calm yourself this is Albus Dumbledore headmaster of the school you will be attending this year." Even as her face remained skeptical, she lowered her weapons back to the sheaths on her hip hearing Seymor Mr. D's pet leopard head growling at the newcomer. "So, where in Tartarus is this school even, I've never heard of a school, even in the underworld heard of a school that sounds like a pig's skin condition." A look of surprise spread across the wizard's face at this statement as he motioned for her to sit down and spoke for the first time, his voice calm and serene.
"Hogwarts is one of many magical schools around the world that train young witches and wizards in the use of their powers. At the school, you will be sorted into your houses as to best blend in with the other students. Your cover being you are transfer students from Ilvermorny the American school of magic. I will return in a days' time to bring you to Diagon Alley to purchase the necessary supplies for a fifth year at Hogwarts. You may pack whatever you wish but it is requested that you bring minimal weapons Ms. Sabers." At this Morgan shrugged twirling a strand of her ebony black hair between two fingers. "Your heritage will be known only to a chosen few members of the staff as well as Harry and his friends and the Order of the Phoenix. So, it is likely the utmost degree of discretion will be required. At this, I leave you to prepare for your departure tomorrow."
Meeting Chiron's gaze the man disappeared with a nod and another ear-splitting CRACK! A dry chuckle rose from her lips and she shook her head, "at least there's no prophecy. You coming chica?" She turned to face Grace who nodded, and both of them headed for the door, looks like she was finally going on a quest.
