Racing across the commons Morgan made her way to cabin 13 her cabin. Throwing open the door and grabbing her suitcase she tossed several changes of clothes into it easily and moved to the bathroom to grab her toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, and other necessities before effortlessly tossing them into her bag. Grabbing her black battle suit from the closet she folded it and tucked the ebony suit into her suitcase under her other clothes. Making sure the dark fabric and gleaming stygian iron armor was hidden under several layers of clothes, the last thing she needed was to blow her cover just because someone saw her suit.

Now came the more difficult part, deciding with of her many weapons she was going to bring with her. Looking around she dismissed the idea of bringing her katanas with her as the two, three-foot blades would be too difficult to conceal even with the Mist. Glancing at her wall and grasped her Foeslayer knives, the familiar black leather-bound hilts. The ruby pommels glinting like drops of blood frozen and carved into glittering stones.

The knives had been a gift from her father on her fifteenth birthday, as a sort of, congratulations you survived another year, but the blades were perfectly balanced and much smaller than her swords so she tucked them into the zippered pocket of her suitcase making sure the sheaths didn't protrude too far out.

She threw a few other things into the bag slamming it closed and fastening the clasps with ease as she set it on the ground beside her bed, the black and red satin sheets and mahogany bedframe hadn't been her choice, but back when she was eleven she had just been glad to get her own cabin. Especially after having been stuck in the Big House for almost three years, but she had seriously been considering remodeling the whole thing for a while now. Nico when he actually had stayed in the cabin for a little while back during the Titan War had agreed the decor was terrible, but she really didn't have time for that now. Before now she'd never been given a quest, they had always gone to her cousin Percy and his group, and at the time she had been grateful, she had previously had no desire to go on a quest as her heritage had led to always being attacked by monsters. Now she had her chance to prove herself, and she realized what this meant.

Grabbing her satchel and stuffing in some drachmas for Iris messages as well as a packet of ambrosia and a canteen of nectar. Placing her copy of Throne of Glass, translated into Ancient Greek into the bag she tossed it onto her suitcase, hurrying out the door towards the gleaming gold cabin eight.

Grace had never been more thankful for her mother's gift. Her weapons a dozen celestial bronze knives were hidden in her jewelry. A matching duo of gold bracelets studded with glimmering gray stones, the same smokey gray as her eyes. Her bag was packed with her clothes and the other necessities for a demigod quest, ambrosia, nectar, and Lord of the Rings in Ancient Greek of course. Even then the names and places in Middle Earth still gave her many problems, she couldn't imagine how hard it would be if it was in English. Tossing her things into a suitcase she glanced to the side seeing Malcolm, her fellow Athenian camper come inside the cabin. "Hey Grace, you headed home?" Shaking her head, she said quietly, "I've got a quest."

Shock flashed across her brother's face then pride, very few demigods ever received quests and they usually didn't pick questers lightly. "Well, I'll see you later this summer, should the Fates allow it." Turning to face her brother she smiled sadly saying, "Malcolm this isn't like other quests, I likely won't be back for some time a year or two." His face fell and she stepped forward hugging her brother tightly, "it'll be okay Malcolm I will write to you or IM you whenever I can."

"Alright sis, I'll let Annabeth and the others know." Letting go of him she flopped down on her bed deciding that she would have a short nap before dinner then go to sleep early to make up for the ridiculous jet lag she was likely going to feel for the next few days.
