13. Chapter 13

*The real Dealt and blaze are making a stop at wings of freedom from searching, as Dealt is sitting on a tree stump as he's in deep thoughts about something that's about to come.*

*Blaze starts looking around* B: Uh Dealt I think we went through a time gate.

D: Oh I know and there's a reason why as what's about to happen well...we are going to see the events of what Naruko had gone through the time she got taken away.

P: *in a voice full of sarcasm*Oh joy

D: yeah...it's going to be a rough one! With that welcome to chapter 13 of wings of freedom. And blaze *points.*

*Blaze pulls out something* D: he's likely gotta get himself a drink for this and since I don't really drink, so I might lose some sleep after this...we don't own anything and also.

Chapter 13:Memories of days past

Team 7's house, Naruko's room

With Naruko laying on her bed as Neo is sleeping and laying next to Naruko as she has her arms wrapped around with Naruko caressing Neo's side. Naruko is staring into nothing as she couldn't help but remember those days when she was kidnapped all those years ago.

Flashback days after Naruko was kidnapped

Naruko, age three, is scared about all of this, she has no idea where she is and why this is happening as she is thinking that she wants to go home, she wants to be with her friends and not this place.

She is being taken to a room in the place she is, just then, the door opens as light enters this dark room as Naruko sees a figure at the door, "help me I don't know where I am! I need to get home"

"This is your home now." said one of her kidnappers as a pair walked in as Naruko shouts "no this is not my home! Wait, what are you doing?!" the pair reached over to her as they grabbed her.

Moments later, Naruko now wears a training suit as she is thrown onto a solid floor as she groans in pain and hears "get up, it's time for your training" said a person.

Naruko is crying as she wants to go home and the trainer sighs as he's easily gotten frustrated as he gets something from the side as it's a retractable rod as it's made out of iron and he's walking over to the crying three-year-old.

Outside of the training room

As people are walking by the door as noises of screams full of pain, wacks of iron hitting the skin along with cries for help. None of them seem to bat an eye at this as they're just doing what they're doing.

They keep hearing the screams of pain as they keep walking, and sometime after that, with Naruko all curled at the corner of the room as the trainer shouts at her to begin or else as he holds the rod in hand.

Naruko keeps crying while yelling at more.

There early days of her training were nothing but pain and hell.

Flash forward to 6 months later with Naruko is now made to learn about Taijutsu, which is why she facing a woman with a cruel face on her as she says "I just want to fucking go home!" but she gets her face grabbed by the woman as she says "this is your home, get used to it! Now it's time for you to fight!" as at the side, there's a group of people standing by with notes with them.

Naruko keeps crying praying that someone will come and save her, And what happens next, Naruko had to fight against her as the woman claimed that the best way to learn is through combat, but seeing that Naruko never fought in her short life, the woman has. This is why when the match behind the woman cruelly beaten Naruko badly.

Naruko is bleeding and being told that they would try again the next day, as a few medics make sure that Naruko is alive, all the while she begs them to take her out of this hell.

Forward to 5 years later

Naruko, now 8 years old, is now beginning her reflection, flexibility, and acrobatics. Naruko is slowly losing hope of being saved as she meets her new trainer, now 8 years old. Naruko's hair is long now and it's in bad condition. As she is now wearing a larger version of her training suit.

And right now, the trainer is a different woman than her taijutsu, and right now the woman is informing Naruko that she will do whatever it takes to make Naruko flex and do other things.

Naruko looks around and says "i-is there a chance-" she gets hit across the face with a leather crop as she shouts "you're not allowed to speak do you understand me Valkyrie!" said the woman as Naruko has her hand on the cheek that she got hit at as she just nods as she wants to cry.

"Get back to training now!" says the woman as she points toward the platforming, Naruko goes and only to be yelled at for every mistake Naruko makes as the woman is nothing but perfection and won't care if Naruko had broken bones or torn muscles.

After a while of training, Naruko is drag back to her room and tossed in there, Naruko is laying there, before getting up, Naruko tries to remember the faces of her two friends, Tifa and Hinata however her memory of them had been coming more and more harder to remember.

But she gets snap out of it as she hears the familiar sounds of birds Naruko looks out the window and walks over to it as she sees a batch of birds of different kinds, this is Naruko's only escape from her hell, to watch the birds as their do their things, from building nests, resting on eggs to hatch their young, and Naruko's most favorited part, watching them fly freely.

Naruko wants to be free as a bird. Naruko has been doing this for 4 years now since she turned 4 years old, as she looked out the window, then she looked behind her as a pair of red wings appeared from her back.

Naruko remembers how their wings first appeared. Naruko was beaten near death and this happened two years ago. Naruko sighs as she resumes looking out the window and at the birds flying around.

Naruko sighs as there's much to do until it becomes late and Naruko goes to sleep which her dreams had now become mean less to her now. She dreams of flying with the birds is the only thing that gives her peaceful sleep.

Two years later, upon Naruko's 10th birthday, Naruko walks up even though she didn't want to, and just wants for the guards to take her to her daily training, however, today seems off as an hour has passed and yet no one had come for her yet.

Naruko just sits waiting, what Naruko doesn't know is that today will be something she would never forget, as Naruko sits, wondering that's she might be finally getting a break from their training for hours on end.

Then the door slams open and Naruko quickie throw that hope away but she realizes something, she sees a man in glasses as he says "grab her as we starting the procedure."

Naruko screams "What are you talking about!?" as the guards go over to her and grab as Naruko is putting up a fight as she says "What are you doing?! Let me go!"

One of the guards put an end to this by kneeing her stomach hard and Naruko gasps in pain as they drag her away as the man with glasses adjust them as he looks to his side and sees the Leader aka the hooded man "is everything ready?" said the hooded man, the scientist nodded "Everything is ready." The hooded man is "good" as he makes his own and the Scientist follows the two guards as they drag Naruko.

Moments later

Naruko is woken up by her face being hit by very bright lights and tries to move one of her hands to cover but finds that she can't. Naruko is even more scared now as she realizes that she is tied to an operating table and thus can't move at all.

The 10-year-old Naruko isn't sure of what's going on as she says "w-what's going on?!" as she sees people gather around her as they're getting many tools ready for something that is about to happen.

They don't answer her as someone picks out a tool with a steel disk with razor-sharp and its thick enough to cut...something made out of bone and flesh, Naruko trying to free herself but it was no good as many holding her down as to stop her from rocking the rock as one of them who isn't holding Naruko down says "let's begin" as the one who holds the tools turns it on and Naruko hears a loud buzzing sound as she says "no, don't! No no no no!" as she sees the tool moving toward her right shoulder where it connects to her arm and shoulder.

"No no no no no no no!" it was the last words that Naruko ever said as the sound of metal cutting through bone and flesh as there was a lot of blood, Naruko doesn't know how that operation went but to her, it felt like centuries for her and that's when all hope she ever had was all gone, she has given up of someone saving her or she would ever see home again.

And when it was done, and laying on the table, is Naruko with her eyes void of life and hope as on her right, there's blood leaking out as the arm that was there is gone and the man that leading this says "onto the next part, cut it and open it as we can install the socket" as a woman cuts up a scalpel and happens afterward is pretty much darkness as Naruko had passed out from there.

And the following day, Naruko had woken up and saw that she had been implanted with some kind device that's in her now in place where her arm used to be as she lay on the floor as she's in so much pain, lucky this lead her to recover and rest for a year.

Flashback end

Naruko blinks as she takes a deep breath, she knows that those days are over, and long since behind her, Naruko then gets up out of bed while making sure not to wake Neo as she puts on clothes.

Naruko heads downstairs and heads to the backyard, where Kage lands on Naruko's shoulder. Naruko sighs as she sits against the tree and looks up to the night sky.

"It seems no matter what my past always finds a way to haunt me," whispers Naruko then she hears "Naruko are you ok?" Naruko turned to see Yugao who had heard Naruko's steps. Naruko "oh um..k-kinda" she wipes her eyes as she was ready to cry, Yugao hugs Naruko "No matter how much time passes it seems those memories are coming back to haunt you." Naruko nods.

"But don't forget, you had so much progress Naruko," said Yugao, Naruko nods, Yugao says "come on, I will make you some coco" Naruko nods as they head into the house.

In the morning

As Hinata and Tifa get into the kitchen as Chifusa comes in from her house, as well everyone else, they found Naruko sitting by herself on the couch, as Yaguo had returned to bed some point last night, Tifa and Hinata are concerned and Chifusa asks "Naruko are you ok?" as she senses something is up, Naruko then falls forward.

All the girls "Naruko!" go check on her as it turns out, she just falls asleep, they get her up to bed.

After a bit, as it is just Tifa and Hinata as they head over toward Hinata's home, the Hyuuga compound, they are looking for someone who is Hinata's cousin as she is a therapist who works with the Yamanaka clan head.

Upon arriving there, both are greeted by Hanabi, Hinata sighs "Yes Hanabi?" as Hanabi asks, "is Naruko with you guys?"

"No she isn't, we are looking for Sapphire." said Hinata, and Hanabi drops her head in disappointment "sigh she's in her room, now if you excuse me...I'm going to the kitchen and found something buried in my disappointment."

Hanabi walks to the kitchen as Tifa asks "I get it that Hanabi has a thing for Naruko but do you think that's going a bit much?" Hinata can't help but agree, "Yes." as both go on looking for Sapphire.

Hinata gets to her room and knocks on the door, the door opens behind it is a Hyuga woman with a simple line of blue on her black hair as she says "oh Hinata! What a surprise, what can I help you with?"

Hinata says "yes, we are wondering if you do house calls?" Sapphire blinks in confusion "Uh may I ask why?" both explain to her.

Later into the day

Naruko had to wake up as she was walking down the stairs. Then she sees someone she does not know at all and she's sitting on the couch as she says "evening Naruko Uzumaki"

Naruko asks "Who are you?" Sapphire "yes, I'm Sapphire Hyuga, the clan's only therapist," Naruko asks "Ok then why are you here?" Sapphire says "well, Hinata and Tifa had ask me to check as your home caretaker had told me that you had wake up last night"

Naruko tightens up a bit as she says "I-I see. S-so what now?" Sapphire says "well, what I had gathered and informed you didn't have much of a..childhood as well your early teenage years"

Naruko sits down and has her face in her hands, sapphire says "Miss Uzumaki, I understand what you had gone through was traumatizing and what horrors you had to go through, just know you are in a safe place, and you can talk about it but only if you wanted to or not, that is up to you" Naruko rubs on to her side and says "ok, I think maybe it's time that I talk about what happens to me for past 15 years before I was save from that Kami forbid place"

Naruko starts talking about it to Sapphire, from when she was three but she stops when she tries to talk about the day she became ten, then she starts to tear up, Sapphire ensures that she doesn't have to force herself on that if it's too much for her.

Naruko shakes as she says that she will do it, she needs to do this, as she gathers herself for this as she tells Sapphire. About the operation, as it what did to her and how it broke her as well as giving up on hope.

Sapphire keeps writing, she stops and says "miss Uzumaki, that's something no one should go through and many would have ended their lives right there and then, and the fact you didn't, much means you had hoped more than you had thought even if you had given up"

Naruko nods with tears in her eyes as she says "your right, the things I went through, the pain, the suffering, all their days of training, all of it, many would have ended their lives"

Sapphire nods, and she says "but still, what I heard that also that you have a great support system from your guardians to your teammates/girlfriends and friends, without them, I don't think you would be here at all"

Naruko nods and they talk more.

Many hours later

Sapphire is leaving the house as she might need therapy herself, as she knows this is not something like this happened and she swears anyone who talked to Naruko in therapy would need it themselves. But Naruko will be having therapy to come.

Afterward, Naruko is in the backyard with Kage resting on Naruko's head while Raijin is sleeping on Naruko's lap, Naruko thinking her sister, Autumn is doing with her new mothers.

Meanwhile with Autumn

Rangiku is playing a game with her and smiling as Tsunade comes in and says "what are my favorite girls in the whole wide world doing?"

Rangiku says "Playing a game with Autumn who I had to teach but I am glad." Autumn nodded to that and Tsunade "that's good to hear, now then, would you two like a 3rd player?" She joins in the fun, Autumn has a small smile on her face as she plays the game more with her two adopted mothers.

Later in the day, Autumn is heading over to Team 7's home to visit Naruko, Naruko is relaxing at the back until she hears "Naruko-nee!" Naruko opens one eye to see Autumn waving to her as Naruko sees that Autumn is wearing a sundress.

Naruko blinks in surprise with Autumn coming up to her, with Naruko says "that's a nice dress you got there Autumn"

"Thanks, Miss Rangiku got it for me." Autumn said with Naruko being curious on that part, "Miss? No mom?" Naruko asked, Autumn, sits next to her with her blushing lightly "w-well, I'm a bit hesitant on that even though Miss Rangiku wants me to call her 'Mama Rangiku' haha"

Naruko says "Just go with what your heart says, sister" with Autumn nods to that "I will..but for now, how about you, you seem kinda down, is everything alright?" Autumn asks.

Naruko says "not really, I was visited by memories of my past" Autumn says "o-oh, I see...I won't know since I was created without your memories intact, just the muscle memory"

Naruko nods "You're lucky as you get to set up your own memories and life." Autumn nods "yes, and I hope we would grow old together, not by as clones but as sisters, I-If you alright with that is, since I don't truly know what you think of me"

Naruko flicks Autumn's head "Live your life Autumn and to your information, I see and think of you as my sister," said Naruko, Autumn is in shock at that as she tears a bit and hugs onto Naruko.

Naruko smiles and hugs Autumn back. Afterward, both just stare into the sky and talk some, then Kage lands on Autumn and cuddles against her head, Autumn is surprised. "Kage likes you," said Naruko.

Autumn does not know what to do. Then both have lunch together. As they are eating, Autumn asks Naruko something, which is about relationships, aka love.

"What do you want to know? As I am still learning myself." Naruko said, with Autumn saying this "w-well, I like this girl a-and well" she blushing bright red, Naruko says "Oh my little sister has a crush." and Autumn blush more, "alright so who is it?" Naruko asks as she wonders who it is.

"W-well, her name is Rebecca, she has light pink hair with brown eyes that I could lose myself to an-" Naruko stops her and says "wait pink hair? Is she a Haruno?" and Autumn says "well from what I learn when I ask her, she's a 3rd cousin while her mother is a 2nd cousin"

Naruko blinks, "I see...I didn't know that Sakura had a cousin." Autumn says "I know right." Naruko narrows her eyes "what kind of person is she?"

Autumn says "She is a lot kinder than Sakura, by lot" with Naruko says "that's good to hear" Autumn nods, Naruko is a bit worry as Autumn says "yes, but I'm scared to confess"

Naruko says "Well don't rush things get to know Rebecca more" with Autumn "o-ok" and Naruko says "and don't make it wired too" Autumn nods, Naruko nods as she thinks 'there's not much I don't know about Haruno family'

Raijin tries to get on Autumn's lap, Naruko grabs Raijin and has him on her lap, Autumn says "he's very cute"

Naruko giggles "He is still a puppy." as she holds Raijin up, patting his tongue out, Autumn giggles as she boops Raijin's nose.

Raijin tries to lick the hand and Autumn giggles. Naruko giggles as well, then they hear meows, they turn to see a black cat, and Naruko says "blake?"

Blake meows, Raijin stares toward Blake and well…

Buzz!

Buzzz!

BUZZZZZ!

Naruko and Autumn see red lighting gathering around Raijin at a great amount, Naruko is surprised, and Blake sweat in fears, as she says "M-Meow" as Raijin get himself free from Naruko's held and from there, Raijin begins chasing Blake as he barking and Blake lets out a big Yeow as she runs for it and being chase by Raijin.

Naruko starts to chase Raijin "No Raijin bad Raijin!" As Raijin falls after Blake as they are running, Autumn does not know what to do as she is panicking.

Two hours of chasing later

Blake in her human form as she panting as she asks "WHY did this happen?" while Naruko is holding Raijin and she says "s-sorry Blake"

Blake keeps panting, Naruko holds up Raijin and faces him "no Raijin! You don't chase Blake like that!" Raijin whines with his ears down and his tail stops wagging. Blake says in a panting voice "b-bad puppy."

a few minutes

Raijin keeps his head down as he's in Naruko's arms as she and Autumn are heading somewhere to eat, Blake stayed home then Raijin feels Naruko petting him as she says "cheer up Raijin, I'm not mad anymore" Raijin starts panting with his ears up and licks Naruko's chin.

Naruko giggles while Autumn says "I'm sure as he gets older, he will stop chasing after your cat friend" Naruko pats Raijin's head as she says "we will see" as both arrive at the ramen shop and enjoy themselves with some ramen.

While Raijin is enjoying the petting that Ayame is giving him, Naruko and Autumn are eating, as they do.

((now entering OVA zone!))

Ova: whatever happens to Sakura

Sakura who isn't sure where she is this time as she goes though what seems to be endless sand.

And she's not having a great time as she is being chased by something that can move through the sand as she cries for help but little did she know.

A group of Suna ninjas are watching from afar, as it turns out this is Land of Winds Desert, home of the Sunagakure village and its ninja and right now one of them asks "should we help her?"

"Why?" asks the other, "well the girl is being chased by the Desert Snake" with the other says "no way, this is the funnest thing I had seen all my life"

Then another appears "we are not helping" both turn to see Temari with one of them asks "may I ask why Lady Temari?" Temari says "well for one, that there is Sakura the exile aka the bitch who put everyone in konoha in danger by releasing animals from the zoo just to have her crush to "save her." so we are not saving her"

So they just watch as Sakura runs away. She is screaming for help that will never come.

((OVA ends))

Back at Konoha

Naruko is walking home with Raijin and Autumn has gone home as well, Naruko sighs as she sees Raijin walking beside her as they walk.

Until Naruko hears "Naruko~!" Naruko sighs as she knows who it is, Naruko moves and Ino slides face first on the ground and Raijin takes a sniff of her as well giving her licks.

Naruko picks up Raijin as she says "what brings you by Ino?"

Ino gets up and says "Oh, a date with you." and Naruko blinks, then she asks her thing, "Ino, do you truly even like me?"

Ino was about to answer then something dive bombed Ino, Ino screams as it seems her ponytail was confused for a tail by a hawk, Naruko is wondering where Kage would show up, Ino says "why kage!"

Naruko blinks as she sees it is not kage at all as she says "that's not Kage Ino" Ino does not hear it at all as she is screaming and running away, "wonder what happened there" Naruko wonders.

Naruko resumes walking home.

Later into the week

Naruko is relaxing with Kage and Raijin with Tifa coming up to them. Naruko giggles as Tifa says "how are you doing today?" with Naruko says "i'm doing fine, sorry for worry you all the other day"

Raijin runs up to Tifa as he wiggles his tail like crazy, Tifa giggles as she says "oh who is such a good boy" she picks him up.

Naruko says "Well that "Good boy" chased Blake while she was in cat form." with Tifa "well to be fair, he's still a puppy and you need to train him not to chase Blake around or else one day when he's big and strong...Blake might want to stop using her cat form like for good"

Naruko says "I think she is scared to go near Raijin right now" she points at the rooftop with Tifa sees Blake peeking from up there as only her eyes and head with her ears being shown.

Tifa says "how's things up there?" Blake just stares with her eyes narrowing half way then hides from sight. Naruko just shakes her head. Tifa laughs.

Meanwhile at the Base of Evermore

There is a scream of rage and it's from Hel as she destroys training dummies as well as taking on a few Soldier clones. Hel is angry after the crushing defeats she has been getting since the mission where the phoenix ripped off her wings.

On the side, Caliber is watching as she wants to fight against Hel while Loki says "I guess she's still sore of her lost against the fire chicken"

Meanwhile at the realm of summoning, Phoenix's

Blaze sneezes and says "The person is so dead." and he doesn't know why but he knows that he's being insulted.

Back at the base

Caliber says "well no matter, I wish to face Hel in an honorable fight!" with loki drops her head as she sighs as she says "why must my sisters be fucking idoits" she rise up her head and turns her head toward Athena.

Then three seconds later then hear a CRASH They turn to see Caliber's head in the ground and a pissed off of Hel stomping away, Hel scoffs as she walks away with Athena and Loki looking at Caliber as she is trying to remove herself from the ground.

Like on cue, Artemis walks in as she rubbing off the lipstick marks on her cheeks as she says "sorry i'm late" she notices Caliber's head in the ground.

"Let me guess she tried to have an honorable fight with Hel and got her head shoved into the ground…..again" said Artemis and Loki says "yes and were you with another woman again?"

Artemis says "So what. Not my fault that you can't get some greenie" Loki growls, while Athena is helping Caliber out of the ground. Artemis just stands there. "Now then I guess I do some training" as she calls out her bow.

Loki says to herself "again why are my sisters idiots!" as Athena pulled Caliber out as she shouts "next time for sure!"

Artemis says "Baka." as she fires arrows and hits the center of the target, Loki groans as her sisters are idiots with Athena patting Caliber's back.

With the hooded man

The hooded man is reading the latest report as it turns out, the Leader of the Akatsuki is looking for him and his group, the man snorts as they are no problem to them but still, he should do something about Akatsuki as they would be a thorn to his side in the future.

He then calls for Hel, a after a few minutes, Hel appeared and she says "Yes master" he says "You are to deal with this Akatsuki group but not alone...you are take Athena with you and a few Soldiers"

"Yes master." said Hel and she's not happy about it as she knows full well that she can do this on her own but she won't disobey the Hooded man's order.

The man lets her head out.

Sometime later, at Amegakure

A group of people used to be 8 but two members had died. as a man with orange hair and pieces covering his face with ring-like eyes as he wore a black coat of red clouds.

"We must find them." said the man as the others agreed "no one messes with the Akatsuki and gets away with it" said a man with blonde hair with a clay on his hand.

"We have no idea where to find them though." said a man with blue skin with shark like appearance, as a man with red eyes "let alone who they are" as a lone woman of the group says "but one thing for sure, we need capture and drain jinchuuriki out of their Buji"

Before they could talk more, a loud noise of wall breaking is heard behind them and it is their turn to see Hel along with Athena and a group of Soldiers of 5 with them.

"Hello you perverts we are here for your HEAD" Artemis shouted with Hel and Athena turned to her while Hel said "the hell are you doing here Artemis! You weren't assigned to this!"

"I was bored and...hello" Artemis as she spotted a woman with blue hair. Hel then smacks Artemis as she says "none of your fucking games Artemis!" she draws out her scythe and Athena draws hers as Artemis says "but look at her! How can I resist such blue hair beauty!"

Hel then roars and throws Artemis at the blue skin man and Aetemis shouts "oh fuck!" as she draws out her bow and uses it like a blunt weapon and hits him toward his stomach and this happens all too fast.

Then a fight broke out as Hel goes after The leader who is known as Pain, and Athena doesn't know who she fights as long as she gets to fight.

Then she is attacked by the clay man and his partner and this just makes Athena smirks as it's a cruel one.

As for the Soldiers, they surrounded the red-eyed man named Itachi. Then in his thought 'Why do they look like Naruko but older?' as the Soldiers have their own weapons of choice as he looks at the three, 'and the bigger question why did there five have similar chakra signatures as them?'

Itachi starts to fight but he gets a chain wrapped around his neck which surprised him as he should be able to see this coming. Then he turns into a murder of crows.

But with one of the crows still wrapped in the chain, and the soldier holding it, she sends lightning chakra into the chain. But however it was a Illusion as it fades and the chain drops onto the ground.

Artemis is dodging everyone else's hits until she's up and close to the blue-haired woman named Konan as she says "hey there. Come here often?"

Konan says "Go away!" as tons of paper blasted Artemis away. Artemis says "Oh come on sexy!" she dodges the papers while getting a bit of cuts with Konan thinking 'you're not even my type!'

Hel is swinging her scythe toward Pain who is blocking them with a rod. Then his other selves appear and he will bring pain to Hel.

But Hel says "please" she tosses her scythe and gets one of them with a single hit into the chest. Pain's eye is widened and Hel says "dark chakra style" she holds up her right arm in an upward position "Darkest Slice!" she drops it downward as a thin line of dark appeared on one of the peins as his spits in two.
