'Easy...'
Naruto looked at the piece of paper in front of him, his placement test for advancement into Kuoh. He didn't know why Jiraiya wanted him in the high school and not the middle school, since apparently his age would be just shy of the high school. He didn't care though, because looking at this test he wasn't having a problem with it at all.
There was an instructer sitting in the room with him to prevent him from cheating.
Advanced placement and skipping ahead was very carefully tested, and while Naruto wasn't super far away from high school age, he was still not suppose to be there. So there was going to be tests to make sure that he was up to the standards of the school.
His instructer was apparently the Student Council President.
Whatever that was.
'This is amazing... he's scored perfect scores on every test subject. He has no cellphone on him to cheat, and he isn't struggling... Math, Science, History, English, Japanese Language, Japanese Literature... everything he has tested so far has been literally textbook perfect down to the very last detail... his handwriting is horrible though.'
Sona Sitri thought to herself as she watched the school applicant taking another test, and she was looking at the answer key and comparing it to the test answers that he had already handed over to her. She had never seen a student apply to the school with a perfect score for a third year's studies before, usually the only perfect scores were when compared to the studies done by first years. Yet, he completely aced those tests, he aced the 2nd year tests, and he was perfect scoring on the 3rd year tests.
His scores were amazing.
'Good thing I stole the tests and copied them down last night.' Naruto thought to himself.
His "study" session.
AKA - Naruto took the answer key, and he wrote down the answers and the questions for all of the tests, then when he got back to Kyoto he practiced them all night long. He had a Shadow Clone read him the questions and he responded with the answers, and then he read the Shadow Clone the questions and repeated the process until both he and his Shadow Clone could repeat the questions and answers by memory.
"Here you go, is there another test for me to take?" Naruto asked as he passed the last written test he had to take up to the woman.
She took it.
She scanned it quickly, and she compared it to the answer key. Her eyes almost widened when she saw yet another perfect score, each answer being textbook examples of the correct answers. She cleared her throat and stood up, before she reached into her bag. She took a gym uniform out and passed it to Naruto.
"Kuoh has very high standards for physical development so-" Sona's eyes widened when she saw this 14 year old start to take off his shirt, and she saw well developed muscles for his age. "-wait for me to leave the room first." Sona stated, quickly leaving the room.
She looked over the answer sheets Naruto gave her.
Uzumaki Naruto, a transfer student who had a guardian that wished for him to skip grades. It was not unusual for parents and guardians to wish for their children to skip ahead because they were smart for their age, but this was the first time that she actually found herself agreeing with them.
Naruto came out of the classroom, fully changed.
Sona nodded to him and gestured for him to follow her.
'Still, he's well developed, but I doubt that his physical scores will be up to the standard for him to skip grades. Still, I will keep my eye on this boy for sure... his aura is extremely powerful, does he have some kind of Sacred Gear?' Sona thought as she imagined to herself the possibility. It was possible he had some kind of mental development assisting Sacred Gear, which would make his potential for learning amazing.
Or maybe he was just blessed with enhancements from a Sacred Gear, passive strengthening that just made him better than other humans around him. His paperwork confirmed him as human, and she didn't get a chill from him to suggest he was her natural enemy, nor did she feel demonic power from him.
Just an extremely powerful aura.
"Ah, Sona, are you busy right now, I kind of want to play some chess... hello."
Naruto raised an eyebrow when he saw an extremely beautiful red haired woman, a very tall girl at that. She had blue eyes and fair skin, but her hair stood out as a unique scarlet red color, almost like a blood or tomato colored. She had a uniquely sexy body that would make most women completely jealous.
"Sorry Rias, I'm testing a potential transfer student, maybe later."
"A potential transfer... well... I hope you pass her tests, she's quite stri-" Rias paused for a moment when her eye caught the test scores that were in Sona's hands. She blinked and looked at the test scored more directly, seeing perfect scores. "-ct with testing, most people don't make it." Rias finished her sentence after a brief pause.
Naruto and Sona were already walking away.
Rias full stopped and turned around, squinting her eyes as she looked at the test scores from a distance, now fully paying attention to them.
"Perfect 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year scores from a... 14... 15 year old?" Rias questioned with a raised eyebrow, because even as she was, she couldn't get perfect scores on all of her own subjects. She was a very intelligent person, and she studied quite hard for her tests. She closed her eyes and extended her senses.
She gasped.
His aura was freaking insane, she could tell he wasn't a Fallen Angel or an Angel, and he was no Devil or Youkai, but the power and density of the aura inside of his body was just insane. A spark of interest lit up in her eyes when she opened them, looking at the blond haired boy with a curious eye. She had never sensed a human with such a powerful and mysterious aura before.
It was so weird.
His aura was so bright, sunny, and powerful, and it seemed like staring into the ocean. The deeper she stared though, the darker the aura seemed to get. At the deepest part she could sense, it was even more dark and malicious than her own aura.
"That... is quite an interesting young man... is he pushing his aura out like that on purpose, or is that just his natural state?" Rias had to question, and she moved towards the window, watching as he entered the track and field part of the school yard. Most people had their auras either hidden, or they only output the minimum amount that naturally leaked out.
Was this his maximum output that he just wore like a cloak, or was this the minimum amount of aura that leaked out of his body, and his energy was just that massive.
"Pfffffft!?"
-Outside-
"What the..." Sona whispered when Naruto broke a record without breaking a sweat, a human world record at that. She blinked and rubbed her eyes, hearing somebody spitting in shock nearby, but paying it no mind.
The first test was record breaking.
Every test after that was just as record breaking, he didn't just break records, he completely shattered each record for each event. He didn't even seem aware that he was performing on an outstanding level. The other track and field club members were all stopped in their tracks as they watched Naruto breaking records.
'Gotta keep it within civilian levels.' Naruto thought to himself as he jumped over a pole that led to a cushion. It was pretty high up, but he was sure that a civilian would be able to make the jump if they tried.
Sona rubbed her eyes again, moving her glasses to the side.
"I'm sorry, could you take that test again, I got some dust in my eye..." Sona paused when Naruto didn't hesitate to break a record a second time, and she recorded it down. She led him through every event, and recorded down every single score that he made. "... these scores..." Sona whispered as she looked at the sheet she was writing on.
What the actual fuck were these human numbers?
Running faster, throwing farther, jumping higher and farther, he was breaking records that a human boy his age had NO business breaking at all. This confirmed it for her, he had to have some kind of Sacred Gear that was passively enhancing his abilities.
"... Do you want me to take them again, to see if I can do better. I can still push myself a little?" Naruto asked with a worried smile.
Were his scores not high enough.
'If he can really do better, then his physical abilities would be on par with those of my species for sure... that would mean his Sacred Gear would be...' Sona thought to herself with her eyes sparkling, which contrasted her neutral face, knowing that she was in the presense of a hell of a valuable person. Somebody with a ton of potential for their future.
-Inside of the School-
"... That is... insane..." Rias smiled when she spoke those words, eating her own mental words when she thought his physical scores would be normal. She leaned the upper half of her body out of the window so that she could get a better view of what was going on.
For 20 minutes she had watched his physical tests.
A diamond in the rough, a human with a naturally high potential, and a natural born powerful aura. Those traits were rare in a human, even with a powerful Sacred Gear. Most stayed within human limits until after they awakened their gear, but these boy had already surpassed the normal human limits without showing signs of having activated his Sacred Gear.
"Hey Buchou."
"Hello Yuuto."
"Have you heard, apparently Sona is giving some potential transfer student a test. I heard he was breaking records... is that him?" Her handsome knight spoke to her, before he looked out of the window and saw Sona was giving a slightly younger boy a chance to redo his physical tests. "... So it wasn't just a rumor then?" Yuuto asked with a raised eyebrow.
His whistled though.
He had thought the rumor that he heard quickly spreading through the school had been just people doing just that, starting a rumor. Now he was seeing it with his own eyes, a human that was breaking olympic world records without breaking a sweat.
"Look at Sona's face, his numbers must have just reached devil physical stats. I got a glimpse at his placement scores... he got perfect scores in every subject, in every year... he's either a great cheater to get passed Sona, or he's got some serious potential both mentally and physically." Rias was just floored to see such a damn gift pretty much slap her in the face.
Nobody in the school had really stood out to her too much, and she made sure that anyone who DID stand out to her got her own personal summoning circle. That way if they ever felt a strong desire that they could subconsciously summon her, but as it stood, only a few students stood out to her enough for her to take that measure. This boy was obviously a great catch for her though, and it was clear that Sona was thinking the same thing.
-With Sona and Naruto-
"Thank you for retaking those tests, getting your most accurate scores really helps properly place you." Sona stated clearly.
She was floored by the potential.
This boy was 14, he wasn't even finished with his growth spurts yet, and he was already surpassing what humans were capable of to her knowledge. He would only grow further and further, and never before had she been more thankful to agreeing to oversee a student taking their tests to transfer to the school before. She was going to be able to take a shot at recruiting this boy before her rival would even figure out that there was such potential applying for the school.
"Yes, come to the head office in 2 days. You will be given your school uniform, and your class schedule, Kuoh Academy would be glad to have you Uzumaki-san."
"Just Naruto is fine."
-With Jiraiya-
"Damnit brat, good cheating means getting a few answers wrong... and you didn't hold back enough on your physical tests... Yasaka is going to brain me for letting you draw this much attention to yourself." Jiraiya muttered to himself, slightly upset that Naruto had done well.
Didn't he understand that he didn't want to draw too much attention to themselves, the humans of this world didn't have the same natural enhancements that their people had, so Naruto needed to lower his body to that of somebody even weaker than a civilian if he wanted to not stand out.
Naruto looked and saw a red haired girl watching Naruto from a window.
...
He fist bumped when he noticed that the girl he wanted to notice Naruto, had indeed noticed Naruto. He looked around and saw that Naruto attracting a ton of attention with his physical scores was leading to rumors very quickly spreading, which would just attract even more attention to the boy in a positive way when it came to the red haired girl.
"... You know what, you're cheating needs some work... but damn if you didn't accidentally do exactly what I wanted you to do." Jiraiya grinned and started to take notes on the reactions. He saw the red haired girl's reaction was less hot and bothered, and more I want that kind of reaction. Strange, but not the weirdest kind of reaction.
He was sure he could spin it into a sexual angle for his book.
A dainty hand grabbed his shoulder.
"... I'm lucky I can leave Kyoto for small bits of time, because it seems to me Naruto is doing a little too well... I thought you explained to him that he needed to pretend to be a normal human. He seems to be attracting some unwanted attention." Yasaka was behind him, in his hiding spot, and had a very firm grip on his shoulder.
"Would you believe me-"
"No."
"Not the face, and not the balls... everywhere else is fair game for a beating."
"... Don't worry, I'm not going to beat you. I have no desire to, but instead... you're not sleeping in my home tonight... or tomorrow night... until the day you and Naruto move to Kuoh for his schooling, prepare to sleep outside... like a dog." Yasaka wasn't going to attack him. He was a very durable man, and physical punishment would barely have much of an effect on him. "... and all of your meals are going to be instant food... no home cooked meals."
"Oh come on, your cooking is amazing, don't take that from me."
"Maybe this will teach you to mess with his love life, after all, once he gets to know my daughter, I'm sure the sparks with fly between them." Yasaka was sure that once her daughter stopped hiding from Naruto's intimidating aura, that she would come to love the boy. They were close enough in age that they could get along very well. "... Anyway, we need to get home to tell him we're proud of him for passing." Yasaka needed to get home before Naruto did.
Jiraiya raised an eyebrow.
"Why, we knew he was going to pass."
"Because, when a child succeeds, you reward them, to show how proud you are. It's parenting 101 Jiraiya-sama." Yasaka couldn't believe that Jiraiya would have just let Naruto's achievement go unrewarded.
"He's a teenager, he doesn't need rewards for every little thing."
"Maybe not, but it doesn't hurt to show him some parental appreciation." Yasaka reminded him as she opened the gate to take her back to Kyoto, and she grabbed Jiraiya's shoulder again to lead him through the gate. He needed to learn some proper parenting skills, and she had until Naruto got back to her home to teach them to Jiraiya.
After all.
She needed to make sure that Jiraiya did his job as godfather.
