Story Start!

He guessed he really did grow up some.

He had gotten taller since he started his journey, but he was finding that he wasn't that much shorter than most of the other teens in the school. He had not measured himself in a while, but he would say he was about 158 or 160cm tall at the moment, which seemed to put him taller than a good percentage of the women in the school, but shorter than most of the men at the campus.

2 weeks.

'How is Pervy Sage getting this money for school lunches?' Naruto thought to himself, since he was sure that the money he used to pay for this kind of stuff had to have come from somewhere. Jiraiya was being really fishy about not telling him how he was producing money for them, and the apartment, among other things.

Naruto hated school life.

Thankfully, cheating was making it a breeze.

-At Kyoto-

"... He seriously thinks he being a ninja and cheating?"

"Yeah, I told him that memorizing the books is considered cheating, so before sleeping he reads the books to his clones, and his clones reads them back."

-Back at Kuoh-

Yeah, cheating like a ninja made school work a breeze. All he had to do was memorize the textbooks and all of the answers were locked in his head, having the ability to make clones to read the textbooks to him really helped him both read them and hear them being read. That way he could hear his own voice saying them to him on repeat, and he could read them to further reinforce the words into his mind.

Every night he read a different chapter.

He already had most of his textbooks memorized.

"Cheating makes school a breeze, being a ninja is awesome." Naruto laughed under his breath as he enjoyed lunch behind the school. Naruto looked at the chipped rock in his hand though, and frowned to himself at the complete lack of progress he had made with the stone.

If only he had clones to help him learn how to do this.

Naruto finished his lunch just in time for the bell to ring, signalling it was time to go back to classes.

"Uzumaki-kun, there you are, how about you join us for karaoke after school today... Kiba-kun never joins us."

"Uh... sorry, I'm usually busy in the afternoon." Naruto wasn't quite used to super friendly girls who wanted to hang out with him, but the girls at the school had taken to inviting him to places. Naruto saw a blond boy, who gave him a sympathetic smile.

"Peeping perverts!"

'Pervy Sage is peeking right now?' Naruto thought as he looked around, expecting his teacher to come running by, getting chased by some women for peeking on them changing. He saw three teenage boys getting chased instead, with looks that showed they knew they were going to get beaten if they got caught. "Ah... not what I expected." Naruto turned around and started to walk back to class.

Class was boring.

-During Class, Near the End-

'Naruto Uzumaki, skipped several grades ahead. Perfect test scores, perfect homework scores, incredible athletics... and he seems so focused on something.' Rias thought as she looked more at Naruto concentrating on something. He would sometimes open his hand up and look at a rock that he was holding, before he closed his hand around the rock again and put that some concentration look.

He was interesting.

He was friendly with just about everywhere that talked to him, he was also outgoing, but despite that he didn't join any clubs. He just went home at the end of the school day, and nobody saw him until the next day. He didn't hang out with any friends like normal, and he didn't pay attention during class.

His eraser dropped to the ground next to his desk.

He did notice that though, and Rias watched as Sona reached down for it and put it back on his desk for him.

"You've got to pay more attention Uzumaki-san." Sona whispered to him with a stern look, with Rias blinking for a moment.

Wait.

What?

'She used magic to make his eraser fall... his eraser has been falling a lot more the last few days... she's after him!' Rias thought when she realized that Sona was secretely trying to recruit Naruto before anyone else could get to him. Her jaw actually dropped when she realized this fact, because that meant that she had actual competition.

Rias had a plan.

1. Talk to Naruto and get to know him.
2. Be nice to him.
3. Give him a summoning sheet, and tell him to think about his strongest desire at his home while holding the paper.

Then, when he summoned her, she would explain who she was and what she was to him. Then everything would be set from there, she would make deals with him. It would seem that Sona had different plans for that though. Rias watched with a raised eyebrow when Sona broke a classroom rule and took out her phone, and then she opened up an App that Rias knew all too well.

It was the app that devils and devils alone had downloaded.

The app allowed them to scan a person's soul and put a value on it, it was how devils collected payment for their contracts. They judged a soul's worth, and then they input the wish the client wanted into their phone, and the app calculated the worth of the payment that would need to be collected after completing the wish. Since it could scan souls quality, it could also be used to see how worthwhile a human would be if they became a part of their group.

Sona's eyes widened.

Rias didn't see what the worth was, before the way that Sona's head snapped in Naruto's direction fast and hard enough to gain his attention showed such surprise that Rias herself got excited. Apparently, Naruto's soul was worth even more than Sona had been expecting, which considering that Sona had quite a few of her Pawns left AND her Rook, meant that Naruto had to be worth at LEAST more than 5 Pawns. The way Sona clicked her teeth in frustration moments later, as if her hopes had been crushed, proved it.

'His Sacred Gear has to be a Longinus... 8 Pawns... 8 Pawns would be worth the price if his Sacred Gear is a Longinus.'

Sona turned her head away from Naruto.

'His soul is human, but it's worth... HIS potential and power alone is worth more than 8 Pawns than I have, and whatever power is sleeping inside of him isn't even being counted... and there is a third part of his soul that is worth just as much. I can't turn him.' Sona thought with grit teeth. She had thought his aura was powerful, but it would seem that his worth was even more than she thought it would be. She would need years and years of training to raise her own power in order to gain the power to even hopefully turn this boy.

That meant that Naruto had been holding back.

He had purposely been holding back during the physical exam, her scan of his worth alone proved that he didn't JUST possess latent power to be awakened, but his current power was worth at least a number of Pawns she didn't have to use.

He was worth more than 1,000 Pawns.

He had the combat power of more than 1,000 warriors wrapped up into a single person, it was as if he was a one boy army. It was an insane soul worth, and she was just trying to do that math in her head. She knew how much one of her pawns was worth, and now even counting the power laying dormant inside of Naruto, his current power was even greater than 1,000 of her pawns.

'Sona gave up... yes... eat it, he's mine.' Rias was absolutely giddy, because that level of frustration that was appearing on Sona's face meant that her target was out of her own reach. Rias didn't have to worry about Sona trying anything, and she was extremely happy that she had all of her pawns available to her.

Naruto wasn't paying attention to either of them.

He was paying attention to the rock in his hand.

'... I tried wooshing my chakra, and bamming my chakra at it... I've tried to don don and goo goo it... maybe I should try a fuuuu next... cutting it... so a really sharp fuuuu.' Naruto thought as he imagined a really sharp wind in his hand. He had tried many different ways in 2 weeks of turning his chakra into wind, but he just didn't have an easy time. The most luck he had, had was getting a small chip in the stone. He hadn't put a real cut in it yet.

Naruto imagined his chakra in his hand getting sharper.

Nonstop.

He had been training nonstop with this rock, for over 2 weeks he had carried this rock with him trying to cut it.

*Shink*

Naruto peeked into his hand, and he saw the rock had a deep cut in it. A cut that went almost a third into the rock, and a grin lit up his face at the progress. Naruto closed his eyes and tried to memorize the feeling of his chakra.

Fuuuu, it was a sharp fuuuu that his body did with his chakra.

Kind of like sharpening a kunai using another kunai, but he needed to sharpen them even more if he wanted to cut all of the way through the rock in one try.

'How is this training going to complete the Rasengan.' Naruto put some thought into it, but Jiraiya didn't explain much to him. Just that he needed to master turning his chakra into wind element, and that it was a key to making his main attacking jutsu even better than he could imagine it.

-Later that Day-

"This has to be incorrect... a human should not be worth that much."

Sona had taken a screenshot of the worth.

It was insane, it was saying that even if a person took Naruto's power, and divided it by 1,000 then his power would still be even greater than what a single pawn was worth. A human with a Sacred Gear was considered special, and usually worth 1 or 2 pawns. This was saying that 1,000th of Naruto's power still had more potential than 1 pawn's worth of turning power.

"You're joking."

"I'm not joking... his power is even more insane than what I sensed... it's like somebody took more than 1000 powerful warriors and shoved them inside of him." Sona was comparing the notes to the notes she took for the price of every single person she had included into her peerage. She was scratching her head in frustration. Even as her Queen stood next to her, she didn't know what to ask of the woman.

The soul worth was judged by two things.

Current Power.
Latent Potential.

His Current Power was considered to be the raw power of an army wrapped up into a single boy.
His Latent Potential was unreadable, it wasn't even taken into account.

That meant not only was his current power out of her reach for transformation, but the power sleeping inside of him was of such a different class, that it might as well be forever out of her reach.

How could a single boy be worth more than 1,000 trained warriors!?

-With Naruto-

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

*POOF**

1,000 copies of Naruto appeared all across the field as he prepared himself for a beating, because he had not trained himself in taijutsu in 2 weeks since coming to Kuoh. Dividing his chakra evenly among all of the clones, Naruto cracked his knuckles and prepared for a hell of a fight.

"Come on guys, it's time for a free for all brawl!"

"YOSH!"

Naruto's training turned a field into a wasteland after hours of combat.

The App: The App on Sona's and Rias' phone exists in the LN, which Issei has used to judge how much payment wishes need to be granted.
Naruto's Worth: 1 Pawn is needed for a normal human, and those with weak Sacred Gears when used by Sona or Rias. Naruto is a trained fighter, and even with his chakra divided by 1,000 times, each of his clones still has more chakra than Jonin like Kakashi. Naruto is worth MORE than 1,000 Pawns, even without counting Kurama's chakra AND Asura's chakra deep inside him.
Shadow Clone Training: Naruto is unknowingly using Shadow Clones to memorize textbooks, he just think's he is cheating, he does not realize he isn't cheating. He has realized Shadow Clones transfer memories, but he has NOT realized it can be used for training. Yet, he has been unknowingly using it to study.
