AN: Okay first let me just start off by saying I hate the plot and idea I had for this story and I should've left it as a one-shot with the first chapter. I don't even want to rewrite this story because I hate the concept around this story. That's the reason why I never updated this story for so long. I just couldn't come up with a way to come up with a new chapter because of my hate. However since people are showing interest I decided to say screw it to trying to fix this story and just write it how I originally planned it. With clichés, predictable and unoriginal ideas, and a story that makes little to no sense. Whether you love it or hate it, this was how I originally planned for it to go and the reason I had a hard time writing chapters for this. I will be posting this same Author's Notes to every chapter of this story, just to let people know. One more important thing I forgot to mention, this was NEVER meant to be a long story. I was only planning to write a few more chapters before labeling it complete. So if you're expecting a lot of narrative to this story, you'll be disappointed or frustrated.

YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

"...And that's what I'm planning on doing" Naruto said, telling the 3 shinobis his plan for the Elemental Nations. While the talk started with them apologizing to Naruto, which he forgave them since he knew they didn't want to banish him and were forced, it then dissolved into questions about Kushina and what they were doing now. Naruto saw no harm in telling them his plan, since he wouldn't let anyone stop him.

After hearing what the blonde ghost was planning, the 3 former Leaf ninjas couldn't believe what he was planning. Jiraiya looked conflicted, Shizune was horrified, while Tsunade looked regretful. "Is there anything we can say to change your mind about this?" Jiraiya pleaded. When Naruto shook his head Jiraiya stood up and started to pace the room, occasionally running his hands down his face.

"I'll help you," Tsunade said, speaking up. Both Shizune and Jiraiya screamed and looked at her in shock, she ignored them and continued. "The Leaf wasn't the only ones to mistreat their Jinchūrikis, maybe this is our punishment for what we did to them."

"Tsunade, there are many innocent people who never harmed or even met a Jinchūriki" Shizune pointed out.

"Not everyone in the Elemental Nations deserves to be punished" Jiraiya added in.

"I know that!" Tsunade shouts in frustration. "However the facts are things are heading towards this conclusion whether we like it or not. Do you honestly believe that if we returned and told all the Kages about this, that they would work together to stop it? No, they would argue and blame each other and plan on how to get the Tailed Beasts from the Akatsuki. We failed to stop this from happening because everyone in the Elemental Nations became divided from greed and power. The only person who could've stopped this was abused, mistreated, and banished instead of being treated like the hero he was. Now he is set burning it down to the ground instead of saving it. I'm not happy about this, but I still want to help the only family I have left in this world."

Shizune and Jiraiya could only stare at Tsunade in conflations. Everything she said was correct, but that didn't mean they liked it or agreed with her. "What about you two?" Kushina asked, bringing them back to reality. "Are you going to help us or get in our way?"

"I can't...I won't," Shizune replied, shaking her head with her eyes closed. "I will not be a part of this insane and evil plan. I can't return the Elemental Nations due to being captured, killed, or knowing what's going to happen. I have nowhere to go."

"You're more than welcome to stay in this house," Naruto said sympathetically. "Once we finish what we are doing I'll come back to help set up a life out here if you wish. While you'll only have around a year before you run out of chakra, it'll be better than nothing."

Shizune didn't say anything, she simply stood up and left the room silently without looking at anyone. Jiraiya could only shake his head in frustration before speaking. "I can't be a part of this either-"

"You owe us Jiraiya," Kushina said, interrupting Jiraiya. "Minato and I trusted you to look after our son as his godfather, you chose the Leaf over our son. Because you weren't there he suffered, never knowing any kind of love. I won't force you to help us, but I will still punish you for abandoning our son. Minato's soul is within the stomach of the Shinigami, so he will most likely never show up in the Ghost Zone. So I'll have to be the one to punish you. When you die and end up in the Ghost Zone, I'll hunt you down and make you suffer till I decide it's enough."

Both Jiraiya and the Kyuubi shuddered in fear at hearing that, one had experienced it and the other hearing about it. Jiraiya took a calming breath before speaking. "If I do help you, then will I be forgiven?"

"No, I just won't hunt you down when you die,'' the Uzumaki Matriarch replied. "I'll never forgive you for what you done, but helping us will replace the punishment I would've inflicted on you once you die."

Jiraiya weighed his options carefully. While a part of him can't bring himself to take part in something that will cause so much death and take his punishment when he dies. Another part fears the Uzumaki mother and is willing to help bring the destruction of the ninja world just to be spared his future punishment. "Very well I'll help" he answered with a defeated sigh. "However I will only help the capture of any of the Jinchūrikis, I won't help fight any shinobis or aid any Akatsuki members."

"That's fine," Naruto replied, with Kushina nodding in agreement.

"What do we do next Babypop?" Ember asked. She remained quiet throughout the meeting since she believed this was between the 5 of them. However that didn't mean she was going to leave him in a room with them.

"We talk to Itachi and hope he can help us contact a member of the Akatsuki," Naruto replied with determination. "From there we find the Kyuubi's chakra and give it to the Akatsuki."

"How do you know the Akatsuki will even listen to us and not attack?" Jiraiya asked skeptically.

"We don't," Naruto replied. "We just have to take a chance and hope they'll listen."

1 Month Later Outskirts of Amegakure Village

After informing Gaara and Itachi of what happened in the meeting, Itachi informed them that he knew who the leader of the Akatsuki was before he died. He told them that he found out an unknown Uchiha going by the name of Madara Uchiha was the hidden leader while the leader of Ame Village, a man only known as Pein, was the puppet leader of the Akatsuki. Seeing as the unknown Uchiha never stayed in one place, they decided their best option was Ame. Now all the ghosts and shinobis, minus Shizune, were on their way to see the Kage.

"I can't believe the leader of Ame was a member of the Akatsuki," Tsunade said out loud.

"I never thought we would return here like this," Jiraiya said uneasily. "Everyone stop! We're surrounded."

After saying that the group saw 6 figures had surrounded them. Each of them wore the signature Akatsuki cloak, had orange hair, multiple piercings, and lavender eyes with rings surrounding the pupil. One with spiky hair approached the group.

"Jiraiya sensei, it's been awhile" the Akatsuki member said emotionless.

'Yahiko?!' Jiraiya thought in shock and fear.

Naruto took this opportunity to step forward and spoke. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, former Jinchūriki of the Kyuubi'' he said loudly to focus all attention on him. "I have a deal for the Akatsuki."
