AN: Okay first let me just start off by saying I hate the plot and idea I had for this story and I should've left it as a one-shot with the first chapter. I don't even want to rewrite this story because I hate the concept around this story. That's the reason why I never updated this story for so long. I just couldn't come up with a way to come up with a new chapter because of my hate. However since people are showing interest I decided to say screw it to trying to fix this story and just write it how I originally planned it. With clichés, predictable and unoriginal ideas, and a story that makes little to no sense. Whether you love it or hate it, this was how I originally planned for it to go and the reason I had a hard time writing chapters for this. I will be posting this same Author's Notes to every chapter of this story, just to let people know. One more important thing I forgot to mention, this was NEVER meant to be a long story. I was only planning to write a few more chapters before labeling it complete. So if you're expecting a lot of narrative to this story, you'll be disappointed or frustrated.

Both Teams were successful in capturing their Tailed Beasts. The Kyuubi had led his group to the Fire Temple in the Land of Fire. It turns out that Kyuubi's chakra was going to a person named Sora who was training with the monks at the Temple. When he was younger and when the Kyuubi attacked Konoha all those years ago. His father somehow gathered some of it's chakra and sealed it within him, making a pseudo Jinchūriki. Now that the real Jinchūriki was gone and the soul of the Kyuubi was removed, the chakra was returning to him and slowly turning him into the next Kyuubi. The monks had sealed him into a room under the Temple until they knew what to do with him.

When the Akatsuki members reached the Temple, they saw they weren't the only ones. Along with the Monks were Team Asuma and a team of ROOT. Team Asuma were not only surprised and shocked to see Tsunade, but see her as a member of the Akatsuki. Team Asuma and ROOT were there to bring Sora back to Konoha to be trained as a weapon. Danzo had known about the pseudo Jinchūriki for years and couldn't make a move because of the Monks protecting him, now that he was Hokage nothing was stopping him. Naturally this resulted in a battle between the Akatsuki against the Leaf shinobis and Monks. Hidan took on the Monks and Asuma, Kakuzu handled the ROOT shinobis, and Tsunade with Kushina and Ember taking on Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji.

Kakuzu easily killed the ROOT member and Hidan use his ritual to kill Asuma and the Monks. Shikamaru managed to capture Tsunade in his Shadow Possession jutsu, however he quickly realized he was at a disadvantage. Kushina and Ember had taken over Ino and Choji respectively, threatening to kill them while in their bodies if he didn't release Tsunade. Shikamaru could hear the others dying at the hands of the other Akatsuki members and believed the best course of action was to grab his friends and teacher then return to Konoha. After letting Tsunade, Shikamaru demanded that the let his friends go. While the 2 ghosts hesitated, they did after Tsunade told them to do so. Tsunade told them she would let them go only because she owed their families that much. The young shinobis reluctantly left, not wanting to face the former Hokage and ghosts in battle. They went to find and help their teacher and return to Konoha, but were too late. They found Asuma had been killed by Hidan along with all the monks. Knowing they were outnumbered and emotions running wild after finding their teacher dead, they retreated to Konoha to inform Danzo what had happened. While silently vowing to get revenge on Hidan and Kakuzu, along with Tsunade for Asuma's death. With the enemy gone, the Akatsuki members headed towards the room that held Sora.

The room did have a seal around, but it was to keep Sora inside and hide his demonic chakra. Kushina knew of ways to break both seals and Tsunade performed the techniques to do so. Once the seals were gone and they headed inside, Kushina immediately took over Sora. Since she used to be a Jinchūriki she was capable of controlling the demonic chakra. Afterwards they left the Temple Kushina, Tsunade, and Ember headed towards an Akatsuki base so they performed the ritual. Hidan and Kakuzu went to the closest Bounty Hunter office to collect the bounty on the Monks and Asyuma.

As for Kisame, Jiraiya, Itachi, and Gaara, they found their target outside of Cloud village. The Jinchūriki named Killer Bee had left the village to annoy his brother A who was the Raikage and work on his rapping in peace. It was just unfortunate that he ran into the Akatsuki members. At first he was confused seeing the Toad Sage wearing the red cloud cloak, but remembered what they probably were here for.

At first Killer Bee wasn't afraid, despite him being outnumbered he still was a powerful shinobi who was in balance with his Tailed Beast. However that confidence vanished not long after. Gaara had overtaken his body, this resulted in the Eight Tails trying to force Gaara out of Killer Bee's body. The Eight Tails released a large amount of chakra and alerted the cloud village, but this was stopped thanks to Jiraiya. He used the same seals he used on Naruto during their 3 years training trip, the seals suppressed the demonic chakra enough for Gaara to have control. However Cloud shinobis appeared quickly after feeling Eight Tails chakra.

Jiraiya and Gaara in Killer Bee's body ran from the scene while Kisame and Itachi stayed behind to kill the cloud shinobis. Kisame shredded them to pieces with his sword Samehada, while Itachi possessed one and used the many jutsus he learned over the years. They all met up at one of few hidden bases that was in the area.

Hidden Base within the Land of Fire

Inside was Kakuzu, Hidan, Tsunade, Kushina, the Kyuubi spirit, and Ember. Kakuzu and Hidan were performing the ritual to absorb the Kyuubi's chakra from sora into a large statue called Gedō Mazō with projections of the other Akatsuki members, while the others watched from a distance. They had been at it for hours and were starting to become exhausted, but continued on. Once it was done Pein told them they would get an hour break before sealing the Eight Tails.

As Kakuzu and Hidan went to eat and rest before they had to seal the Eight Tails, Kushina made her chains that caged the fox spirit disappear. "Our deal is complete, you're free to go" Kushina said emotionlessly.

The Kyuubi stared at her in shock for a couple of seconds, he didn't think they would let him go. After coming to his senses he started to walk towards the exit. "Where do you plan to go?" Tsunade asked curiously.

"Japan," Kyuubi replied without looking back. "I remember learning with the kid that my kind are Myths and Legends over there. That seems like the best place for me right now."

"Will you return here after Naruto's plan succeeds?" Ember asked.

"No I won't" it replied hollowly. "I plan to never return to these lands again." Kyuubi then looked back at them with saddened eyes. "Tell Naruto for what it's worth, I'm sorry it had to come to this." He then left, off to find a place to call home.

Hidden Base just outside of Land of Lightning

The hour break was over and Kisame, along with the projections of the others started the ritual on Killer Bee. As the process happened Jiraiya looked away, he couldn't bear to watch what was happening a second time. "You are free to leave Jiraiya," Itachi said from beside him. "You have kept part of the deal, I'm sure Kushina wouldn't mind if you left before the ritual is complete."

Jiraiya gave a thankful nod before he started to head for the exit. "What will you do now Jiraiya?" Gaara asked from the other side of Itachi.

"I'll return to Amity Park and wait with Shizune," he replied sadly. "Maybe I can make something to help our chakra replenish in the outside world. I'll be waiting for all your return."

"Would I be correct in assuming you'll never return here after the plan is complete?" Itachi asked stoically, but already knew the answer. Jiraiya never answered and continued to walk.

Hidden Base Location Unknown

Obito was taking part in the ritual of sealing the Eight Tails, while Naruto stood off to the side. "I think it's almost time to take Nagato out of the picture," he said while still focusing on the ritual. "Once we finish sealing the Eight Tails, we'll go after him so I can obtain one of his Rinnegan eyes."

"I'll go and get my friends to help," Naruto replied as he started to leave. "Chances are we'll have to deal with his paths and Konan as well, we could use the extra help."

"I'm sure the two of us could handle them," Obito replied smugly.

"This plan is too important to leave things to chance" the ghosts replied sternly. 'I won't let anything stop me from achieving my goal' he thought as he left to find the others.
