AN: Okay first let me just start off by saying I hate the plot and idea I had for this story and I should've left it as a one-shot with the first chapter. I don't even want to rewrite this story because I hate the concept around this story. That's the reason why I never updated this story for so long. I just couldn't come up with a way to come up with a new chapter because of my hate. However since people are showing interest I decided to say screw it to trying to fix this story and just write it how I originally planned it. With clichés, predictable and unoriginal ideas, and a story that makes little to no sense. Whether you love it or hate it, this was how I originally planned for it to go and the reason I had a hard time writing chapters for this. I will be posting this same Author's Notes to every chapter of this story, just to let people know. One more important thing I forgot to mention, this was NEVER meant to be a long story. I was only planning to write a few more chapters before labeling it complete. So if you're expecting a lot of narrative to this story, you'll be disappointed or frustrated.

It was almost time and Naruto wasn't how to feel. Part of him was excited and overjoyed that his plan was almost complete and soon he would have a safe place to call home. Another part was disgusted and hated himself for all the death and destruction he brought upon the Elemental Nations. He had helped Obito, with the help of the others, kill Nagato and Konan. Naruto, Ember, Gaara, Itachi, and Kushina possessed 4 of Pein's bodies and Konan respectively. This left 2 Pein bodies to fight against the 5 possessed, Tsunade, and Obito. Nagato attempted to awaken some of the back-up bodies he had in store storage, but found it used too much chakra to use more than 6 bodies and weaken him to the point he would lose control of some of the bodies or kill him. Being left with no choice, he attempted to fight off the 7 shinobis with 2 Pein bodies.
Even though he still had his Rinnegan, most of his opponents were highly skilled shinobis. He Kept them at bay but they eventually managed to destroy one of his bodies. While he attempted to awaken another from storage, Obito had snuck away to kill the real Nagato. As the others distracted the last Pein, Obito got to where Nagato's real body was and killed him. Nagato had been using his paths for so many years he knew no way to protect himself without them or Konan. With Nagato dead, Obito took his eyes and returned to the others. He killed Konan immediately after Kushina left her body and had Zetsu transplant one of the eyes into him. Once it was complete he changed his outfit to black pants and gloves, with a white form-fitting shirt underneath. Over this he wears a purple, high-collared, long sleeve mantle that splits down the lower half and has the Uchiha crest on the back. Around his waist he wears a simple, light-purple obi and a belt. Strapped to his back is Madara's gunbai, now purple with black trimmings and black tomoe, connected to a black chain that runs up his right sleeve. He replaced his orange mask with a white mask with a purple tint that covers the entire upper half of his head. The mask's design resembles a combination of the Sharingan and Rinnegan, consisting of a ripple pattern with three tomoe around the centre, two of which act as the mask's eye-holes.
He then informs the other Akatsuki members of who he was and what his true plans were. Some were enraged by this revelation, while others didn't care. Those who were enraged simply left not believing in the organization or tried to attack Obito. The ones who attacked were killed by Kisame, who was loyal to him since he was the Mizukage at one point. With all that done, Obito believed it was time to bring peace to the Elemental Nations. Obito eventually became the Jinchūriki of the Ten Tails. With his new power he planned to face his enemies and bring the peace he worked so hard and long for.
Which brings Naruto to the current scene in front of him. Obito, with the remaining Akatsuki members, and an army of white Zetsu standing against an army of shinobis from different nations. Somehow the Kages were able to band together and put aside their fighting to come together against the Akatsuki. How Konoha was included was a mystery and Naruto didn't care, it wouldn't matter soon. As Obito spewed his reason and justification for doing what he did to the army of shinobis, Naruto caught Black Zetsu sneaking up on Obito. Catching on to what he was planning on doing, he got in a better position to help him should he need it. Without warning Black Zetsu lunged at Obito and start taking over half of his body. Naturally the shinobi army and Akatsuki were confused and surprised by this and unsure what was happening. Obito meanwhile could feel Zetsu forcing him to draw more of the Ten Tails chakra into his body, knowing he couldn't control it he started looking around for help.
His eye landed on Naruto who was slowly floating up to him. "Naruto! Quickly do something! Zetsu has betrayed us!" Obito screamed in panic. As the ghost approached he had a sad smile on his face.
"Don't worry, everything is going according to plan," Naruto replied sadly. Obito eye widened in shock and fear before the ghost in front of him flew into him and body was possessed. "What can I do to help?" Naruto asked Black Zetsu.
"Just draw more of the Ten Tails chakra into his body," Zetsu replied. "Once there is enough chakra in his body, then mother will be free." Naruto simply nodded and started doing what he was told. Once there was enough to ensure Obito couldn't stop them, Black Zetsu decided to let Naruto know he could leave the body. "That's enough, leave Obito's body so you can watch mother's return." Naruto flew out of Obito and waited, when Obito regained control of his body the last thing he saw before consciousness was taken over again was Naruto's sad smile.
As the Akatsuki and shinobi army watched the spectacle in front of them, they felt the increased demonic chakra around the surrounding area. Soon they saw something they didn't expect to see, Obito's body began to transform. He changed into a pale-skinned woman with delicate facial features. She had extremely long, sweeping white hair. She had white clear eyes and her eyebrows were cut very short and round, and she wore a red shade of lipstick on her lips. Most noticeable, she grew two brown horns that stuck out from her head and a third eye formed in the centre of her forehead. She wore a high-collared hime-kimono which has tomoe running down the centre and edges of the gown, adorned with intricate gold and purple lines.
The white Zetsu army bowed their heads while all the shinobis stared at the new figure. Naruto looked at the woman with a determined gaze, while he never met her he knew exactly who she was. "Welcome back, Rabbit Goddess Kaguya Ōtsutsuki" he said with a determined voice. "I helped free you, now I expect you to keep your end of the deal."
AN: Okay the next Chapter is the last chapter and it's an Epilogue. It will be about the aftermath of Kaguya's return and her and Naruto making the Elemental Nations a safe haven for ghosts.
