This is a naruto neglect story. The pairings are Naruto and Hinata. Naruto won't be super OP in this fanfiction and he won't try to destroy the village. There will be some lemons and some violent fights so this story is rated M. Hopefully you enjoyed the last chapter, it was pretty short so I'm trying to make this and all future chapters a lot longer.

Naruto was meditating in his room. It was late at night so this was the perfect time to practice a new jutsu. He fell deep into his mindscape, where the Kyuubi was waiting for him. "Hey, Kurama. What Justu are you gonna teach me?" Naruto asked excitedly. Kurama was really the only person who Naruto could act normally around. "Hey kit. This new jutsu is a little different than the last one I taught you. Since you have a wind chakra nature, this will be the perfect jutsu for you. Basically what you have to do is…"

4 years later

4 years passed. The triplets were now 12 years old and in their last year of the academy. Menma and Natsuki excelled in the academy. They were the best at pretty much everything they did. Naruto stayed near the middle. He didn't want to stand out, but he didn't want to fail. Though he could've been at the top if he wanted. But none of that matters now. It was time for the final exam. Perform the transformation justu correctly. That's it. There's literally nothing else to it. What a joke.

Everyone easily passed the test. They got their headbands and everyone was celebrating. As Naruto walked out of the academy, he saw people's families congratulating their kids. Naruto couldn't help but feel jealous. A loving family was something that Naruto always wanted, but something that he didn't have. Naruto arrived at where his parents and siblings were. They were all celebrating as if they just did something that was near impossible. The academy has an 84% graduation rate. It's more impressive to fail than it is to pass.

"Let's go get ramen!" Menma and Natsuki yelled in unison. Minato and Kushina had bright smiles on their faces. "Since it's a special occasion, we can get it just this once" Kushina replied. "YAY!" Natsuki and Menma yelled.

'Congrats kit.' 'Thanks, Kurama' Kurama has been the only one besides Iruka-Sensei to congratulate Naruto. But Naruto just didn't care anymore. He just had to get through this.

The next day

It was time for everyone to meet their new senseis. Everyone was sitting in their usual seat and talking to each other. A few people tried talking to Naruto, but they thought they were talking to Menma. Naruto and Menma basically looked like the same person. Same bright yellow hair. Same sky blue eyes. The only difference is that Naruto had whisker marks and Menma didn't. Speaking of Menma, he busted into the room with Natsuki behind him. They were both being loud for no reason. It was annoying.

Iruka walked into the room. "Alright, everyone quiet down." He tried getting everyone to calm down without yelling but that wasn't gonna work. He knew that already, but he wanted to try one more time. "EVERYONE SHUT UP!" Iruka yelled, using his classic big head jutsu. Everyone immediately scrambled into their seats. "Alright. Your senseis will be coming soon. I'm going to announce the teams. Iruka started running through the teams. Naruto didn't really care for most of them. "Sakura, Sasuke, and Yua. Team 6. Shino, Naruto, and Hinata. Team 7. Menma, Natsuki, and Kiba. Team 8. Team 9 has already been established. And finally In, Shikamaru, and Choji. Team 10. Your senseis will be coming to pick you up soon." With that Iruka walked out of the classroom. He felt happy that he wouldn't have to deal with the students but he was also sad that he wouldn't see them again.

Everyone's sensei came to pick them up. Every sensei except Naruto's. Even Kakashi came before Naruto's sensei. Shino spoke up which was surprising since Shino spoke even less than Naruto did. "It seems that either our sensei is extremely late or they forgot about us. So in the meantime, we should get to know each other. If we know each other better, it'll help with teamwork." Naruto raised his head. "Sure whatever." "T-that sounds like a g-good idea" Hinata mumbled out. Shino went first. "My name is Shino Aburame. I enjoy training and researching insects. I dislike people who are afraid of insects for now reason. My dream is to discover a new insect breed." Naruto decided that he would go next. "My name is Naruto."He paused and thought for a second. "I like foxes. I don't dislike anything in particular. I don't really have a dream as of yet." Hinata took a deep breath and started talking. "M-my name is H-Hinata Hyuuga. I like sweet foods and f-flowers. I dislike the branch system of my clan. My d-dream is to be the head of my clan" Hinata was barely able to get those two sentences out. But she did it. With Hinata finishing her sentence a black-haired woman entered the room. She was wearing a fitted mesh suit covered by a tan overcoat. She was also wearing an orange skirt. "Hey, brats. I'm your new sensei!"

Later

"Alright since you guys already introduced yourselves, I'll introduce myself and then we'll start the actual test. My name is Anko Mitarashi. I like dango and snakes. I dislike spicy foods. My dream is to kill a certain someone."

Naruto raised his hand. "What did you mean when you said the actual test?" Anko laughed. "Did you really think that the academy test was enough to become a ninja? You literally have to perform one jutsu to pass. The real test is that you have to take these bells from me." Anko pulled out two bells that were connected by a string. This time Hinata spoke up. "T-there are only two b-bells and three of us."

Anko gained a mischievous smile. "Yup. One of you isn't getting a bell. And whoever doesn't get a bell returns to the academy. And if none of you get a bell. You all go back to the academy."
