Chapter Four

Ginny and Ron were fuming, things had not gone as they planned, things had gone completely the other way, and they could not understand why. When they had written to their mum about the ridiculousness of the Twins trying to court Harry.

Ginny had been sure that their mum would put them straight about how silly the idea was and direct Harry's attention to her, she was the one that should be marrying Harry, after all, she was the one that he should fall in love with. She had been expecting him to invite her to the Yule Ball, she had been expecting him to fall back on her as a choice but then realise how beautiful she was, how perfect she was for him, and that it would be the start of their romance that she had dreamt of for years.

Ron was sure that their mum would tell the Twins that they were to leave Harry alone and stop the stupidness of courting Harry, she would tell them that they had to leave him alone and stop hanging around him, and then he would be able to get Harry to stop being so difficult and listen to him, he would listen to Ron's apology and accept it. He was sure that the Twins were whispering into Harry's ear about not forgiving him so that they could sink their fingers into Harry.

This...was not what they had expected.

Dear Ginny and Ron,

It was so lovely to hear from you, and I am happy to hear that you are looking forward to the Yule Ball, it is something incredibly exciting to get to be part of, and we completely understand that you want to stay for it.

Thank you for letting me know about Harry's budding relationship with Fred and George, thought the Twins had already written to me to let me know of their relationship and explain what is going on. I am concerned with your tone in your letter about this relationship, and while I may have had some concerns, speaking to Professor Dumbledore who is representing Harry, has put my mind at ease, and he has assured me that this is something that Harry and The Twins are more than happy with, and that they are quite serious about their relationship. I appreciate that you are concerned, but I will remind you that the Twins are your brothers, and I will not be happy if I hear that you are making things difficult for them and Harry, and if you carry on with this tone towards their relationship then we will be having words.

Keep well and take care of yourselves, work hard.

Love

Mum and Dad

Ron and Ginny were baffled and angry at the response, and they didn't know what they were going to do considering it seemed that their mother and father seemed to be accepting of the relationship. But even worse than that Dumbledore seemed to be accepting and supporting it as well!

"I have an idea," Ron said suddenly breaking Ginny from her brooding as she watched with interest as Ron grabbed a piece of parchment and quill and started scribbling out a letter.

"Who are you writing to?" She asked leaning forward with growing hope in her chest at the expression on Ron's face.

"Sirius. Mum and Dumbledore might have been convinced by the ridiculousness of this, but I am sure that Sirius will have something to say about this," Ron smirked.

"Perfect!" Ginny clapped her hands.

Not all hope was lost then.

Hermione watched amused from behind her book as one of the twins walked past them, as always seemed to happen his eyes being automatically drawn to where Harry was sitting.

It was something that had always happened, and something that had given them away a couple of years ago to her when she had realised that how they looked at Harry, and how often they looked at Harry, was not platonic. Their eyes always seemed to be drawn to her friend, they were always glancing at him, and they always seemed to zero in on Harry when they walked in a room as though they had used a spell - and she may or may not have checked to make sure that they hadn't, and they hadn't, they just seemed naturally tuned into her friend.

Right now though she was trying to hide her smile as she watched the twin pause in place, blink once, twice, and then an expression that made her heart beat faster for her friend crossed his face as he realised what he was seeing. The Twins had their astronomy lesson on a Tuesday, and the four of them had fallen into a habit of the Twins coming back, changing and joining Harry and Hermione in front of the fire in the common room where they were waiting for them.

The Common room was fairly full, but not the chaos it normally was between 18:00-21:00, and she surprisingly found their routine quite peaceful as the Twins settled with them. Especially with how happy, content and comfortable Harry seemed to be, and she was happy to realise that she had a place within their changes that their relationship made to their dynamic. She had been worried that there would not be enough space for her within their relationship, after all, Harry was her first real friend, and though she cared for Ron, he was her best friend. Ron put her down and made fun of her still, he made her feel uncomfortable about herself sometimes and made her worry that her personality was annoying, and made her think she had to change herself a little, be lesser so that she could keep her friend. Harry never made her feel like that though, he had always accepted her as she was, and the things that Ron seemed to find annoying, Harry seemed to find endearing, and while they butted heads on occasion, she never felt that she had to change to be his friend.

That was why she had been worried about their friendship when the Twins started hanging around Harry and she realised that they were going to have to make themselves clear to Harry. But if anything she and Harry were even closer, their relationship had changed, but not in a negative way. They spent almost as much time together as they always had, and she was never made to feel as though she was unwelcome to spend time with Harry and the Twins together, in fact, they made her feel more than welcome, including her in conversations, and they spent time talking to her about various different things, talking about their jokes and projects with her, asking her opinion on things. They made it obvious how much they respected and appreciated her knowledge, and she felt accepted in a whole different way.

"Fred," Harry smiled happily when the twin watching him walked over, his eyes not looking away from Harry. She had guessed it was Fred considering just how taken his expression was. Harry leant up from where he was sprawled on the floor with his own back, Fred automatically leaning down to kiss Harry, cupping his face and kissing him in a way that made Hermione blush and look away.

"You haven't dropped off your things?" Harry said a little confused realising that Fred still had his bag and robes on.

"I got a little distracted," Fred said, his voice a little rough.

"Distracted with what?" Harry asked confused and Hermione had to repress a snicker. Her friend was so adorably oblivious sometimes, and Fred seemed to find it equally endearing - though in a quite different way - going by the expression on his face.

He stripped off his robe and bag uncaringly, dropping them to the side before pouncing on Harry, scattering kisses over his face and neck, even blowing a raspberry on his neck which made her friend break into peels of laughter that made Hermione smile in response, even as she looked away to give them a little privacy.

"Now, I feel as though I am missing out!" George complained as he walked over to them, before stilling, his own hungry expression making Hermione chuckle as he took in the sight in front of him.

"What is with those expressions?" Harry whined as George stripped off his own robes and bag, dropping them on top of Fred's before lowering himself on top of Harry for his own deep, lingering kiss that had Hermione throwing up privacy charms around the three of them to protect them from the prying eyes of those still in the common room, settling back to her back and happy to wait it out.

"You are such a temptation without even trying to be," Fred kissed Harry's cheek.

"What?" Harry asked looking between his boyfriends.

"Harry, you are lying stretched out in a pair of leggings, wearing Fred's jumper," George huffed amused motioning to the maroon jumper with a large golden F on it.

"Possessive," Harry huffed as his cheeks went bright red realising what had worked them up so much.

"We don't apologise for it," Fred laughed.

"You do look delicious," George sighed happily leaning down to kiss Harry again, his lips teasing and playing with Harry, drawing him into the moment so much that his world closed down to just the three of them, George's lips over his, leading him and guiding him, teasing him and taking from him while giving him pleasure, Fred's warm hands were on his waist, sliding under the jumper to stroke his stomach.

He was barely able to catch his breath when Fred was there, claiming his mouth again, teasing and playful and he pulled Harry into himself, combing his fingers through Harry's hair and then tightening his fingers just slightly to make Harry groan a little, two groans coming back to him as George started kissing and then sucking his neck while Fred flicked his tongue over Harry's and made his breath catch in his chest as pleasure washed through him even more.

"Honestly boys," Hermione sighed, looking utterly amused as Harry took down her privacy charm and she saw the state they were in, kiss bruised lips, mussed hair, not to mention the huge hickey on Harry's throat.

"Yes?" George said completely unrepentantly, grinning like the devil he was making Hermione snort amused.

Harry groaned as he ran around gathering his things together, muttering to himself about running late as he dug through his trunk. He had stayed up late trying to work out the egg for the Second Task until Fred had come to collect him and tugged him to bed, scolding him as he pressed Harry into George's waiting arms and pressed himself against his back. As normal their heat had quickly lulled him to sleep, and he had slept like a rock, but he had slept too heavy and the three of them had woken late.

The Twins weren't that bothered whereas he was trying to get himself ready as quickly as he could. They had moved his trunk into the sixth year boys dorm the week before, the twins insisting that he was not invading their privacy, or pushing things too far, pointing out that they were the ones that wanted to spend as much time as possible with him, and had suggested it. It definitely made things easier of a morning, even if Lee had taken to teasing them mercilessly about already being like an old married trio.

"Hey Minx, are these your Yule robes?" George asked as Harry threw his clothes for the day onto the bed while brushing his teeth. He looked up to see the twin holding Harry's dress robes up from his trunk.

"Mm-hm," he said through his mouthful of toothpaste, trying not to blush at the casual term of endearment, George had taken to calling him Minx after his work with Dumbledore and Mrs Weasley. Fred had taken to calling him…

"You're going to look lovely in them Sweetheart," Fred smiled. That was enough for Harry, blushing he hurried back to the bathroom to rinse his mouth and to try and cool down the blush in his cheeks.

They made it down to breakfast in time to sit with Hermione and Lee, who were already waiting for them. Hermione looked disapprovingly at them as they reached their friends, giving a pointed glance to her watch, Lee just smirking at them and wiggling his eyebrows which got him a whack around the head from Fred.

"You need to eat quick or we will be late!" Hermione fussed.

"You need to eat properly, you have plenty of time to get to class Hermione, not being fifteen minutes early won't kill you as a one-off," George scolded lightly catching Harry's hand to stop him from trying to scoff his food down.

"Harry was trying to work out the egg last night and stayed up late because of it, which is why we let him sleep in," Fred added as Hermione opened her mouth to respond. She quickly closed her mouth again and gave Harry an assessing look before nodding.

"I am sorry Harry, they're right, just eat your breakfast," She smiled.

"Still no luck on it?" Lee asked concerned.

"No," Harry sighed. "The damned thing just shrieks," He added, kissing George's cheek in thanks when he poured him a goblet of apple juice.

"How about we make a night of it tonight? Have a good look and see if we can't figure it out?" Hermione suggested.

"I would be more than happy to lend my brain to it if you wanted," Lee offered with a warm smile.

"He might look like the wind whistles between his ears…"

"...but he actually has a fair brain on him," George and Fred grinned.

"I would remember who does your accounting for you," Lee narrowed his eyes.

"I would remember who helps you with your potions homework," Angela smirked leaning over them. The Twins laughed a Lee shot them a worried look, as though they were about the refuse to help him that second.

"We wouldn't mind throwing our brains in as well Harry," Alicia nodded.

"I don't know if I will be much help, but I don't mind trying as well," Neville smiled nervously from next to Hermione.

"That would be really appreciated, thank you guys," Harry smiled around at them all, but it felt a little weak.

"Hey, Neville and I are going to head up to class and get a seat, you two will escort him right?" Hermione asked the Twins, who smiled at her thankfully.

"Of course,"

"I don't need 'escorting'," Harry grumbled.

"We will escort our dashing boyfriend…"

"...and his cute arse,"

"You have an obsession with my arse,"

"And of course his cute arse, to class no problem,"

"The problem is going to be with you two in a minute," Harry huffed. Laughing their friends left the table and headed off to class as the hall emptied around them.

"What is the matter?" Fred asked, taking Harry's hand as George wrapped his arm around his shoulders when they started walking to class, Fred carrying Harry's bag for him despite the younger's protests.

"I feel as though I am cheating," Harry sighed threading his and Fred's fingers together.

"Because you are having help? Harry, the others will be getting help as well no doubt, and that isn't to mention the fact that they are all two years older than you, with two years more knowledge. Getting help isn't a bad thing, and it definitely isn't against the rules," George assured him.

"I think the stress is just getting to me," Harry admitted.

"We will make a fun night of it tonight. We have the perfect place for us to get together to look into it," Fred kissed Harry's temple as they walked along the corridor to Harry's classroom.

"Thank you," Harry smiled at the two of them.

"Mr Potter, Twins Weasley," Professor McGonagall looking at them over her glasses as they reached the door to her classroom.

"Our favourite Head Of House!" Fred grinned.

"How are you on this fine day?" George beamed at her.

"Happily planning my retirement for when yours and Mr Potter's hellspawn hit this school," Professor McGonagall said pleasantly.

"Don't worry we will send you an invitation to the baby shower," Fred assured her.

"Shut it you two!" Harry said blushing darkly. "Go to class!" He shook his head kissing their cheeks.

"See you at lunch," They smiled. "Have a wonderful day Professor!" They chirped before trotting off.

"I do believe Mr Potter, you are the only person that can get them to do what you want," She said amusedly.

"I promise to use that power only for good," Harry said seriously.

The class looked at him strangely as he made his way into the classroom with McGonagall laughing in the doorway behind him.

"What is this place?" Harry asked awed as George led him into the room looking around at it wide-eyed.

"It is called the Room of Requirement," George explained, turning to watch Harry's expression as he looked around at the room that they had created, a smile open on his face. "You think about what it is that you want and it will create it for you,"

"This is brilliant," Harry laughed.

"And we have made it even better," George assured him. He took Harry's hand again and led Harry over the deep rugs that their feet sank into, past the deep and comfortable chairs and sofas so that Harry could see the coffee table in the centre filled with food and drinks. "Dobby outdid himself when he found out it was for you,"

"This is brilliant," Harry said again, dropping the egg onto one of the chairs, stepping a little closer to the fireplace that was warming the room up from the chill of the winter. Outside the snow was starting to come down and cover the grounds of Hogwarts, and George had created the room with beautiful Christmas decorations filling it, including a stunning Christmas tree.

"This is something like Fred and I would love to have in our home, with you," George smiled, drawing Harry into his chest, his strong arms winding around his waist.

"I would love this," Harry admitted, wrapping his arms around George's shoulders. "With you both," He added looking into George's bright blue eyes.

"I know we are a while off this, but this is the type of thing that we would like to give you, the type of life we want to create with you," George smiled gently, swaying them slightly where they were standing.

"I think we all see the future in a similar way, family, home, that is what I want," Harry sighed.

"We want a family with you, to create a home, a proper home, something that this the three of us, and when the time is right, children and to fill our home with laughter and love," George pressed their noses together.

"That sounds exactly like home," Harry smiled happily at his boyfriend, leaning up for the kiss that George was leaning in for. Harry ran his fingers into the long red hair of his boyfriend as he kissed him until his heart was fluttering in his chest, pressing himself even closer to the warmth, safety and comfort of George's body.

Harry didn't even jump when hands cupped his hips and hot lips attached themselves to the back of his neck, sliding around to suckle on the side of his neck opposite to where he had a hickey hiding under a glamour, sucking another hickey into his skin. He felt as though he had a growing awareness of the two of them.

Fred pressed himself against his back, wrapping his arms tighter around Harry and making a hungry noise when Harry parted from George and tilted his head back, not even opening his eyes as he was lost in a haze of pleasure to seal his lips to Fred's, humming happily when his other boyfriend kissed him just as passionately as George, tugging him back a little and angling his chin just right so that George could fasten his lips to worry a twin hickey right next to the one that Harry was sure was already forming.

"Woah, guys! Turn down the heat a little there!" Alicia laughed parting them.

"Aww, Licia! Come on, don't be spoiling my ogling!" Angela fanned herself.

"Honestly you three can't keep your hands off of each other," Lee shook his head as he made his way over to drop onto a chair.

"That is karma," Fred smirked when the other teen let out a loud yelp and jumped back up almost right away, turning to see the golden egg sitting on the chair.

"Are you going to come out of there?" George asked combing his fingers through Harry's hair where their partner had buried his face into his shoulder.

"Not for at least...oh ten years," Harry whined wrapping his arms around George's waist and burying himself even deeper. Chuckling Fred kissed the back of his neck before moving over to their friends while George hugged Harry a little closer, burying his nose into Harry's dark hair.

Eventually, he pulled away from the comfort of being wrapped in George's arms, just enjoying the comfort and warmth of the hug, something that he could not get enough of with his boyfriends. Making his way over to their friends he slipped his hand into Fred's as his other twin held his hand out to him, and slid onto the sofa next to him snuggled against his side, George settling down right next to him.

Their friends teased them good-naturedly, but Harry know that they were happy for them. He was also happy to note that Neville fitted in well with the others, a little timid at first, but finding a comfortable place within the conversation, laughter and teasing, and finally joining in fully. They just chattered and relaxed as they nibbled on the snacks and sipped their drinks before they turned their attention to the egg.

They theorised on it, and they worked their way through a few different things that they could think of with the egg to try and work out the riddle to it over the next few hours, trying even to levitate the thing into the fire.

"What about water?" Fred offered, tilting his head.

"What?" Hermione frowned.

"Well, we tried fire, why not water, can't do any harm," George nodded, transfiguring a cushion into a little pool, Fred quickly filling it with water.

Harry watched with little hope as Fred eased the egg into the water, all of them grimacing and turning their heads slightly away as they were expecting to hear the shriek of the egg that they were sure they were going to be hearing for the rest of their lives after opening the egg multiple times.

They all turned wide-eyed to the pool when they didn't hear the shriek, something gurgling up from the water. Quickly they expanded the pool and all of them gathered around it, and though they all felt a little silly they all pressed an ear under the water and Fred opened the egg again.

"Come seek us where our voices sound,

We cannot sing above the ground,

And while you're searching ponder this;

We've taken what you'll sorely miss,

An hour-long you'll have to look,

And to recover what we took,

But past an hour, the prospect's black,

Too late it's gone, it won't come back."

"Mermaids!" Hermione clicked her fingers as they all sat up, rubbing their ears to dry them.

"What seriously!" Harry squeaked looking utterly panicked.

"What is the matter?" Fred asked concerned.

"I can't swim!" Harry admitted.

"That is something we can sort out easily, we can turn this place into a swimming pool and we can teach you, we have more than enough time until the Second Task to teach you to swim," George smiled.

"What is it that they are going to take?" Neville wondered out loud.

"Taken what you will sorely miss, it is either going to be the twins or his Firebolt," Angela grinned.

"My bet is the Firebolt," Alicia teased.

"Hey!" George and Fred laughingly protested when Harry pretended to look thoughtful.

"You are going to have to swim underwater to find whatever it is though," Lee pointed out once they had calmed down their laughter, all of them stretching out thoughtfully on the floor.

"So we are going to have to figure out a way for you to breathe underwater," Hermione sighed.

"Bubblehead is the most obvious choice, but I don't think it is going to be as simple as swimming through the lake to find the mermaids and that is it, there will be challenges along the way, and the bubblehead charm could fail," Alicia frowned.

"Transfiguration is too risky," Lee added.

They went quiet as they all clearly tried to think things through, muttering out loud every now and then different options, before talking it through to realise that it was not the best option for the challenge. They were all clearly starting to give up when suddenly Neville let out an excited noise clapping his hands together in excitement.

"Gillyweed!" He said loudly.

"Gillyweed?" Harry asked confused.

"It is a plant, if you eat it, it allows a human to breathe underwater for about an hour by giving you gills which won't be a vulnerability underwater if there is something that attacks you. It also gives you webbing between your fingers and toes to help you swim as well, which considering you can't swim yet it will make it even easier for you to swim, and help you swim stronger despite you being new to it," Neville said eagerly.

"That sounds like a good idea!" Fred said after a few moments of thought.

"Definitely worth looking into other things, but to be honest that sounds like it is the best thing, it covers all the needs, including Harry's swimming," Hermione smiled at Neville who was blushing as the others agreed that it was a brilliant idea.

"Well time to call it a night," Lee yawned standing.

"Thank you for your help everyone, it really means a lot to me," Harry smiled at them.

"What are teammates and friends for," Alicia hugged him.

"Aren't you coming back with us?" Lee asked when Fred tugged Harry against his chest and made no move to grab his robes, as neither did George. Harry looked up at his boyfriends curiously.

"We're going to stay here tonight, we will see you at breakfast tomorrow?" Fred asked.

"Of course," Hermione nodded hugging the three of them.

Once they had all said goodnight to each other Harry and the Twins stepped outside with the others and watched them walk down the hallway, before George wrapped his arm around Harry's waist to hug him while Fred paced up and down the corridor.

"We're staying here for the night huh?" Harry challenged raising his eyebrow, but George just grinned at him kissing his cheek.

"A surprise, you deserve it after everything that you have been through in the last week. A nice start to the weekend, and something a little more private than the dorm for the three of us," George grinned.

"And a little more special," Fred added.

"You guys make it hard to even be mock annoyed with you," Harry laughed, shaking his head. "That does sound amazing,"

"Wait till you see it," Fred took one hand, George linking his fingers with his other hand, and they led him forward through the door, walking backwards so that they could see his face. Laughing he allowed them to tug him into the room before gasping when he saw what they had created.

"You said that you wanted to see it the other week. We can't take you to the real thing right now, but, we can do this," George explained as Harry stopped absolutely stunned, looking up with wide eyes at what they had created for him.

"This is…" Harry said breathlessly, looking down at his feet and tapping it with his toes, laughing joyfully when the snow crunched under his feet.

"Do you like it?" Fred and George asked at the same time, a hint of nerves on their face.

"I love it!" Harry threw his arms around them. Pressing their faces into his shoulder they hugged him back tightly.

"Come and see," Fred said and they led him through the snow to the igloo that was waiting for them just ahead, the scenery around them looking as though they were in the middle of a snow-covered forest. The igloo was all glittering glass that looked up to the sky where the Aurora Borealis was shining and flowing above their heads in bright blues and purples, shot through with greens and turquoise.

The igloo was fairly simple inside, but nearly exactly what Harry had spoken about late at night when they had lain in bed talking about the places that they wanted to visit. The floor was covered in soft faux fur blankets, the bed just slightly raised off of the floor, full of cushions and even more comfy fur blankets and throws.

"Perfect," Harry squeezed their hands.

"We wanted to do something special," George kissed his hand.

"You deserve things like this, we want to take you to see the places that you want to see, we want to show you the places that we want to see, and we want to make memories like this together," Fred nodded.

"You know that you don't have to give me things or spend money on things for me. Even if we were only able to have a small home together, and never travel outside of Britain, as long as we laugh and smile together, and care for each other, that is all I want," Harry said softly looking between the two of them. He drew them closer to him by their joined hands as they looked down at him with a hint of awe on their faces. "I grew up in a house where things, and money, were the most important thing, and they weren't happy. You are all I need, all I want to be happy with you, and when I look to the future that I think we can have together...I don't really see much around us, just us,"

"The three of us, that is all we need as well. This is just extra," George nodded kissing Harry sweetly.

"Just the three of us," Fred agreed, kissing Harry right away as soon as George let him go.

"Now, I want to get into that bed, it looks amazing!" Harry laughed overjoyed as his heart thundered in his chest.

"Come on," Fred flopped onto the bed tugging Harry with him.

"Making room!" George dropped on top of them with a bright laugh of his own snuggling into them as they sank into the warmth of the bed.

They moved only to quickly yank on pyjamas, the twins as ever turning their backs to allow Harry some privacy, before they climbed into the bed, snuggling down under the blankets together, the air in the room cooling around them so that they could enjoy the warmth of the blankets, and of each other even more.

"This is stunning, thank you so much for giving me this memory with you," Harry sighed happily from between them looking up at the sky through the glass glittering away with the stunning sight. The lights in their igloo were out, a fire crackling in a wood burner in the corner.

"Thank you for being here with us and seeing more in us that others don't look for," George said honestly making Harry turn to look into his blue eyes.

"I feel so lucky that you both want me," Harry shook his head leaning forward to kiss George sweetly, turning and meeting Fred who was already leaning forward to kiss him as well, leaning into the hand that cupped his face.

Falling asleep that night under the stunning light show, Harry hoped that he had a long future with the two men laying either side of him. He wanted nothing more than this, just this.

Fred frowned when he reached out and found the space that was normally filled between him and George empty. Lifting his head and looking around he sat up a little more when he found the head of dark hair was looking for.

"Harry?" He sat up more, waking George next to him who scowled when he reached out and didn't find Harry to snuggle with.

"Hey, morning sleepyheads," Harry smiled turning around.

"What are you doing?" Fred yawned.

"A surprise," Harry said making his way over to them with two steaming cups of hot chocolate filled with cream.

"A surprise?" Fred asked taking his cup with a happy hum.

"Breakfast, I have sent a message to the others to let them know that we are staying here for breakfast, and got some ingredients from the house elves to cook breakfast for you," Harry kissed them.

"You cooked breakfast for us?" Fred asked, settling against the headboard.

"You can cook?" George asked, also wiggling his way out of the covers.

"Yes, I enjoy cooking," Harry nodded as he stirred something on the small stove. "I wanted to cook something for you both, it isn't anything special, I am a little limited here, I didn't want to leave just yet as well," Harry admitted.

"That is definitely not something that we're going to complain about," Fred grinned as Harry walked over carrying plates for them.

"This looks amazing," George hummed as he took the plate from Harry and looked eagerly at the light, fluffy pancakes on their plates, Harry knelt onto the bed and made himself comfortable facing the twins, sitting cross-legged with his plate in his lap, his knees touching his twins' legs as they settled to eat their breakfasts.

"You put fruit through them," Fred groaned taking a second massive mouthful of his pancakes making Harry laugh happily.

"As I said, couldn't make anything grand, but thought that this would be a nice way to start the day. I would like to cook you a proper meal," Harry smiled.

"I can't wait to try it,"

"Me either," George nodded locking his lips.

The next few hours were perfect for Harry, they finished their breakfast before settling down on the bed and just chattered for a while snuggling together under the blankets, the aurora borealis still flickering over their heads.

They spoke about various different things, some serious things, they spoke a little about the second task, they spoke about their friends and how well their two separate friendship groups seemed to be mixing. The twins chattered and planned some of their new creations, rapidly taking through things but stopping and listening whenever Harry made a suggestion.

They exchanged kisses that were sweetened by the syrup from their pancakes, and Fred and George were nearly always touching Harry throughout it, gentle little touches, tangles legs, fingers combing through his hair.

It was perfect.

"One, two ow….one ow three...one two three...one two ow...ow two three...ow…" Hermione sighed and narrowed her eyes at Lee who looked sheepishly back at her.

"Sorry," He grimaced. "I swear I am paying attention, I don't think I have two left feet, I think I have ten and they are all going in different directions," he added with a sigh.

"If I can manage to get them to dance and dance with three of them, I can manage to get you dancing for the ball," Hermione said pointing to where Fred, George and Harry were further down the big ballroom that they had created in the room of requirements.

The three of them all had serious expressions on their faces and were clearly concentrating hard on what they were doing, but they were dancing with mostly grace as they worked around each other, Harry switching smoothly between one twin to the next and back again, the twin not with Harry following learned steps to dance around to make it to the right place to claim Harry back, then the three of them would move together before they would switch out again.

Professor McGonagall had worked hard to help them create steps and moves that worked for them being a trio to the music that was going to be used during the Champions dance, and she was very pleased with how dedicated they were to learn the steps and to do it properly. But she also wasn't surprised, knowing her students well, she had known that they would apply themselves to this and that all three of them were made even more determined to perfect their dance after hearing the muttering about their relationship, how the twins were going to embarrass their school by making a joke of it, and the number of people that kept trying to ask Harry to go with them to the Yule Ball.

Professor McGonagall had come across Harry ripping a seventh year Gryffindor a new one when he had asked Harry to the ball in front of the Twins and then had said something incredibly dismissive about the twins when Harry had pointed out that:

1) they were his boyfriends

2) it was common knowledge that Harry was dating them and going with them

3) they were right there!

She had glanced over the situation before telling Harry, Fred and George that they were going to start their dance lessons a little earlier than the others, and within a few days was working with them to create the dance that worked for them.

"They work well together don't they," Lee smiled as he watched Harry twirl from Fred to George and back again in what was a fairly complicated step before George lifted Harry around the waist and spun him.

"They do, I think it is a mix of their history flying together on the team, but then they have that natural flow together as well," Hermione smiled.

"They're going to be impressive by the time the dance comes," Lee hummed.

"I don't think Professor McGonagall would allow anything else," Hermione laughed.

"Thank Merlin I don't have to dance in front of the whole school with only three couples on the dance floor with me," Lee grimaced.

"I told you, I will have you dancing perfectly for your date by the time the ball is here!" Hermione said firmly.

"You could always make it a little easier for me," Lee said slowly.

"Easier?" Hermione blinked up at him confused.

"You could always be my date to the ball," Lee asked.

"Oh….you...me?" Hermione said confused.

"Definitely you," Lee said firmly, some of his nerves fading in his eagerness to make himself clear.

"Oh I...I...would…" Hermione felt as though she was impersonating a tomato, she could feel her cheeks burning darkly. "I would really like that,"

"Really?" Lee grinned.

"Really," She blushed even darker when he leaned down and kissed her cheek.

"Thank you!"

"Think he has asked her yet?" Harry muttered as Fred spun him out and into George's waiting arms.

"I bloody hope so, we have been twirling around like bloody ballerinas for the last hour to give him a chance to get his courage up, I am getting hungry and thirsty," George grumbled dipping Harry slightly.

"She is blushing and he is grinning, that is hopeful right," Harry said, watching them upside down for a moment before he was lifted and swept sideways into Fred's waiting arms.

"Oh, thank Merlin, he kissed her cheek!" George groaned.

"Can we stop now?" Harry whined.

"Finally!" Fred sighed stopping. They all wiped their foreheads, practically running for the snacks and drinks on the table in the corner waiting for them.

"Oh hello?" Harry blinked and looked up at the girl who had spoken to him.

"Hello," He smiled at her, she was familiar even though he did not know her, but then most faces were somewhat familiar in Hogwarts.

"I am sorry, I did not mean to intrude, people don't normally come out here," the girl said stepping back.

"Please don't let me interrupt, my boyfriends abandoned me to work on one of their projects so I decided to take a bit of a walk. The lake is part of the second task," Harry explained.

"Oh, you have to swim in it?" the girl asked curiously.

"Under it more like," Harry sighed.

"I think that would be quite interesting, there are a lot of creatures living under there, it would be fascinating to see them in their natural habitats," The girl said a little dreamily.

"Are you friends?" Harry asked her with a small smile as she pulled some food out of her pocket and threw it into the lake for the Giant Squid who had floated to the top and was waving her tentacles as though she were waving.

The younger girl gave him a look as though she thought he was making fun of her, but when she realised he wasn't she relaxed a little and smiled. "Yes we are, she is fascinating to watch, and incredibly intelligent,"

"You seem to know a lot about creatures," Harry said intrigued.

"I am very interested in creatures, they are fascinating, and the things that they are able to do are wonderful,"

"Would you be able to tell me some of the creatures that are in the lake and how best to deal with them without hurting them? I don't want to have to do that," Harry asked eagerly.

"Oh, of course!" The girl seemed pleased by his request and not offended that he wanted to get the information from a stranger to help himself, and he was relieved that he had come across the right way. They stood at the side of the lake feeding the Giant Squid, the girl sharing the food she had stored in her pocket with Harry to throw in as they talked while the sun started rising fully in the sky.

"Hey, we were going to start looking for you," George smiled as Harry reached them in the Great Hall, their friends seated with them.

"I got caught up talking," Harry smiled leaning down to kiss both his boyfriends in greeting, hugging Hermione good morning before turning to reveal the small blonde girl that was standing behind him. "This is my new friend Luna, she is joining us for breakfast,"

The others welcomed the girl, making space for her as well, though they did share amused smiled with each other, they all knew who Luna was, and they knew the cruel names that people called her and some of the bullying that went on around her, Hermione had even stepped in on a few occasions, she had a horrible feeling that she would have been Luna if Harry and Ron had not befriended her. They were not surprised to realise that Harry had taken her under his wing having come across her.

Harry chattered to her as he settled between the twins, carrying on their conversations about what seemed to be some type of creature that her father was investigating. Over his head, Fred and George exchanged a fond glance, Fred tangling his fingers with Harry's while George wrapped his arm around his shoulders as they turned to talk to their friends as well, the chatter fun and full of laughter as they had their breakfast.

"What are these?" Harry asked curiously picking up a pair of glasses carefully from the tabletop.

"They are actually inspired by Luna," George wrapped his arms around Harry's waist, resting his chin on Harry's shoulder.

"Luna?" Harry looked up at him.

"She sees the world in a way no one else does, sometimes I think we could all use that, seeing the world as a magical place, with magical things around us. Those of us that were brought up in the Wizarding world forget how lucky we are sometimes. They help us gain that back," George took the glasses and held them up to Harry's eyes.

Harry grinned as a fairy floated past his eyes, glittering sparkles dancing around gently as though in a breeze. He turned his head a little and watched a phoenix soaring through the air, looking around the room with the glasses he was awed by what they had created, and more than that, the thought behind them.

"These are amazing," Harry laughed as George carefully placed the prototypes down onto the table again. "I feel like I say that so much every time we're here,"

"You do," George chuckled burying his face into Harry's shoulder.

"I am so proud of you guys and awed by the things you come up with. You see the world in an amazing way," Harry touched the glasses carefully. "You see people in an amazing way,"

"I don't...I don't think anyone has really...really said that they are proud of us before," George admitted softly.

"I am, so proud of you, and so proud to be your boyfriend," Harry turned and lifted George's face from his shoulder, cupping it and keeping the redhead looking at him so that he could see how serious he was.

"I...thank you," George buried himself into Harry's shoulder again, holding him even closer as the words sank into him.

"Your brains just stun me sometimes, seeing the way that you come up with things," Harry hugged George as he looked around the room at the things that his partners' brains had come up with.

"Harry," George's voice was heartbreaking, and Harry just hugged him even tighter, quietly promising to himself that he would make sure that they reached their full potential, making sure that they understood just how awesome they were.

"Amazing," Harry repeated as George's strong arms tightened around him.

"We will see you soon," Fred kissed Harry gently, George kissing him right after just as sweetly.

"Well, you three are just adorable aren't you!" The voice had them turning to see Charlie and Bill strolling towards them.

"Hey!" George and Fred called to their brothers, hugging them when they reached them. "We thought we were going to meet you at the robe shop,"

"We wanted to see the cuteness of the three of you," Charlie reached out and pulled a surprised Harry into a hug as well.

"We knew you would match up well, we thought we saw some sparks during the summer," Bill wiggled his eyebrows.

"You mean Fred and George following Harry around like puppies with hearts in their eyes," Charlie teased.

"And Harry blushing like a damsel from a book every time they touched him or spoke to him," Hermione joined in.

"Oh, Merlin! Hermione you traitor!" Harry whined burying his face into Fred's back to try and hide his blush as Bill and Charlie laughed.

"Seriously though, the three of you look good and happy together," Charlie smiled.

"We're happy," George nodded.

"Really happy," Harry agreed, smiling at his boyfriends'.

"Right come on you two, robes shopping!" Bill snagged Fred and Charlie snagged George.

"Have fun!" Harry called after them, his boyfriends looking balefully back at him.

"So, it is going well?" Charlie asked as they walked towards the store.

"Yes, even better than we thought. Harry sleeps in bed with us every night now, and we spend a good amount of time together, but we don't seem to get fed up of each other. You heard about Dumbledore stepping in?" Fred asked.

"As Harry's representative? Yes, that was a surprise," Bill admitted.

"It was, but he seems to be really supportive of our relationship with Harry. Harry also had him step in with mum and made sure that she didn't overreact," George said proudly.

"We're really pleased for you, honestly guys, we were surprised to hear that you had gone for it, and we're so pleased that you did, and that it is going well. You look really good," Bill clapped them on the shoulders.

"Harry looks really good as well, he looks far happier than in the summer, you have really given him something,"

"I am fairly sure that he has given us a lot more than we have given him," George shook his head.

"You're good for each other," Bill complimented.

"Come on let's get you looking snazzy for Harry," Charlie led the way into the robe shop.

"Hello dears, you're here for your Yule Ball robes?" The owner beamed, the store was full of students and their parents that had clearly all had the same idea.

"Yes, we have our appointment booked under Weasley," Charlie shook her hand.

"Of course, through here," She led them to a private room and settled the two of them in. "Now, do you have an idea of what it is you are looking for?"

"Our partner is dressing in these, we want to compliment him, we like colour and would like something that is different and stands out," Fred explained as he pulled out Harry's robes.

"Hmm, ok, with your colouring we can definitely work with this, we could work with autumn colours for you, what colouring is your partner?" The lady nodded thoughtfully.

"He has dark hair tinted with red, green eyes, pale skin, he's quite petit," George described.

"Right, would he be ok with me lightening his robes more from bottle green to an emerald green?" She asked thoughtfully.

"Yes, he would," Fred agreed after he and George checked with each other.

"Going with a lighter green for your partner, we could dress one of you in a deep crimson red, and the other in a deep burnished orange, you would have your colour and all three of you will complement each other incredibly well, and you will stand out together," The seamstress seemed to get even more excited as she talked. "We could also add your colours into the threading on your partner's robes in a double stitch!"

"That sounds perfect!" the twins said enthusiastically.

"Are you sure that Harry won't mind you changing his robes?" Charlie asked concerned.

"He won't mind, to be honest, he doesn't really care what he wears or how it looks," Fred chuckled.

"Are we going ahead?" The seamstress asked.

"Definitely," Fred and George nodded together.

"Wonderful, let's get you gentlemen looking handsome for your partner!" she clapped eagerly. "I want a picture of the three of you though, I think you will look simply stunning together,"

"Oh, I think you will definitely be seeing a picture," George looked to Fred mischievously.

"Hey! All sorted?" Harry brightened visibly as they headed towards him, Hermione, Neville, Lee and Luna where they were sitting at a table in the restaurant waiting for them. Bill and Charlie watched as Harry tilted his head back automatically for the kisses that the twins were leaning down to give him.

They just seemed to slot together like puzzle pieces and when they came together they were even brighter and flowed together.

"All done, and we have two robes being made that are going to look perfect," George said as he dropped down on one side of Harry, Fred taking the other, their older brothers settling down in the free spaces.

"We're having your robes changed up a little, made lighter and the threading is going to match our colours," Fred told him. Bill and Charlie watched concerned as to what Harry's reaction would be, worried that he would not be as ok as they had thought.

"Ok," Harry shrugged, "you seem happy with how they have come together,"

"We are, we're going to look stunning together," Fred grinned.

"Please tell me that you've not gone for hot pink," Lee snorted.

"Not quite,"

"Not quite?!" Hermione groaned.

"Not quite," The twins grinned like the devils they could be.

"What colour have you gone for?" Hermione demanded.

"Not quite a hot pink," George teased.

"What colour is not quite a hot pink?" Hermione narrowed her eyes.

"Not quite a hot pink," Fred winked.

"Aren't you worried?" Hermione asked Harry exasperatedly where he was surveying the menu.

"Not particularly, they could wear hot pink if that was the colour they wanted to go with," Harry shrugged.

"Harry," Hermione whined.

"What? If it is what they wanted I don't care," Harry said. "I would be more worried about what colour Lee is going to wear," he smirked.

"It is a normal colour, I swear!" Lee held his hands up as the twins leant over and kissed Harry's cheeks appreciatively.

Bill and Charlie settled back in their chairs to order their meals, their minds very much put at ease for the lingering worries that they had had in regard to Harry and the twins' relationship when they had first heard about it.
