Chapter 29: Countdown to the Wedding!

They finally gotten to the less than a year left mark… meaning it was now less than a year until going home.

Which meant there was a bit of a celebration that they had less than a year to go with Katsuki yelling "About damn time!"

But other than that thing were normal…

Though they did celebrate another earth like holiday, this time their version of Valentine's Day, called Hearts and Hooves day.

Nothing much happened with that day… the two girls decided to treat it like Valentin's Day for the guys… IE: Friend Chocolates…

"So in your world…" said Twilight.

"Well other countries celebrate it differently." Said Ochaco as they made chocolates.

"In Japan it's a holiday where girls and women give chocolates to the men their lives… including friends." said Momo.

"I see…" said Twilight.

In town, the four human boys turned ponies were just walking when they were being listed by a song from the CMC.

"This one is too stiff… this one is too cold…" sang Apple Bloom about Tenya and Shoto.

"Too explosive! Too oblivious!" sang Sweetie Belle about Katsuki and Izuku.

They ran off to sing about other stallions.

"What was that song about?" asked Izuku.

"Let's not think about it…" said Tenya.

Though Shoto looked at Izuku due to the fact that well… it had started to become a joke about his obliviousness towards mares being in love with him…

They were singing about finding the perfect stallion for their teacher Cheerilee… but they couldn't find one for her…

As in the original timeline they chose Big Macintosh… but in this time timeline he wasn't single so yeah…

So yeah… nothing much happened on the holiday…

No it was the next day that was important.

Twilight was reading a book when Spike ran into the room holding a letter.

"Twilight! A letter from Shining Armor!" said Spike.

Both of them hoped that it was what they thought it was.

She read the letter and it was indeed what she thought it was…

Confirmation that he was getting married.

"All right! Spike!" said Twilight.

"Write a letter to Princess Celestia about an emergency meeting?" asked Spike.

Twilight nodded.

Spike wrote a letter the princess explaining that it was now time to explain about Queen Chrysalis' plan.

She managed to gather everyone and get them on the train to Canterlot.

"So you're finally going to tell us about that Queen who's going to invade." Muttered Katsuki.

"It's still a couple months away." Said Tenya.

"The problem is that we don't know when she makes her first move." Said Twilight.

"What do you mean?" asked Izuku.

"She kidnapped Cadance before the invasion…" explained Twilight.

"Oh no…" said Ochaco.

"Do you think that she's already been kidnaped?" asked Momo.

"IT's unlikely, you'll understand when I explain everything. And I don't want to explain the train ride over there." Said Twilight.

The others agreed.

They got to Canterlot and headed to the castle.

And once they were there the meeting began. The ones at the meeting were all three Princesses and Shinning Armor.

"So is there particular reason why you only want to explain now?" asked Princess Luna.

"Yes… because Queen Chrysalis' plan is to invade using the wedding as a distraction." Said Twilight.

"Wait what wedding?" asked Ochaco.

"Oh… Shining Armor asked for my hoof in marriage yesterday and I said yes!" said Princess Cadance.

"Oh! Congratulations!" said Izuku.

"That's so sweet." Said Ochaco.

"You can see why I kept spinet until now." Said Twilight.

"Yeah, it would have been a dick move to tell them that they're getting married and a villain ruins it before they even get engaged." Muttered Katsuki.

"Exactly!" said Twilight, "It would have been awkward… that I would have inform you that your wedding was coming in order to plan everything pout."

"And because public knowledge of the upcoming wedding would be involved for the kidnapping to happen…" said Princess Celestia.

"Exactly!" said Twilight.

"So do we prevent the kidnapping?" asked Tena.

"Unfortunately… I don't know when it happens." Said Twilight, "I do know where she was taken however. So we can stage a rescue… I'm sorry… you just never told when it happened."

"It's all right." Said Priciness Cadence, "I don't think my other self would want you to know what happened."

Twilight nodded.

"Right now my plan is to wait until she's kidnapped. Half of you will rescue Cadence while the other half will subdue Queen Chrysalis." Said Twilight.

"Wait was she taken to a hive?" asked Ochaco.

"No… she just sends Cadance to the caverns after Canterlot… it's an old diamond mind that's not used any more… however if find documents we might make be able to get a basic map combined with some sort of tracking spell…" said Twilight.

"We have a lot to plan for…" said Tenya, "It's best to figure out the best course action sooner rather than later…"

The others groaned and nodded.

"This is going to take a few days isn't it?" asked Ochaco.

"It will…" said Twilight.

Sometime later after ironing out some plans, Twilight found a place ort relax.

"You okay?" asked Izuku.

"Yeah…" sighed Twilight, "It's just that the wedding in the original timeline wasn't my best moment… it wasn't my worst, but still far from the best…"

"What happened?" asked Izuku.

"I noticed that Cadance was acting off which every pony brushed it off as a me being angry that Shining Armor only told me at the last minute that he was getting married and the fact she was acting like a Bridezilla…" said Twilight, "But then I accused Cadance of being evil in an overly dramatic way… you know how I get sometimes…"

"Yeah…" said Izuku.

"So I made a big show of it… and then Chrysalis sent me to where Cadance was taken to." Said Twilight, "We were able to put a stop to the wedding but Chrysalis had gained enough love energy from posing as Cadance that she was a really bad threat…"

"So if we stop her right when Cadance is kidnapped…" said Izuku.

"We won't have to worry about a wedding invasion." Said Twilight.

Izuku nodded.

"We do have a lot of plan for…" said Twilight, "I mean…"

"We still have a lot to plan for." Said Izuku.

"Sorry… sorry…" said Twilight.

"It's fine…" assured Izuku.

"Still I'm sure we can plan things out properly." Said Twilight.

"I'm sure that we can prevent the invasion from even happening." Said Izuku.

However neither one of them knew what was really going to happen when the wedding came… as it would be something they didn't see coming.

But still thanks to Hearts and Hooves day, they were finally able to start planning, and there was a lot to plan for… even months in advanced…

Next Time: Izuku, Tenya and Momo get some help from Twilley and Moon Dancer about the layout for the caverns, however they noticed someone trying to get into the forbidden section of the archives... what are they after? Find out next time!
