Chapter 9: Return, Restoration, and True Love Found:
The summer drew near as the entire school would be preparing to return home for the upcoming summer break. Cassie and her allies however were preparing for something else.
In the Castle That Never Was while the Luke Bryan song Kick The Dust Up was playing in the background Ventus was going over the check list while Cassie and Daphne were going over the supplies needed for the infirmary. "Alright so we need new pillows, bedding, some clothes, entertainment, books, writing untesils, notebooks, and various other things. We can get clothes off world easily when their rescued and recovered. Until then Roxas can borrow a few of my things. Axel is roughly the same size as Marluxia. We believe the third will be Namine, but we have some spares in the event not. We also have some spare comforter sets already purchased so they can choose from those. I know Roxas has a phobia of needles from while me and Van's merged Heart resided in Sora. So Cassie has to be the one who convinces him to get the shot of sedatives. Something tells me he'll listen to her."
Cassie looked like shit when Ventus entered her room. "Hey, you okay?" Cassie replied, "No. Kingdom Hearts above I feel like I want to puke. I'm terrified this rescue operation could fail and we could lose Roxas and Axel! Not to mention whomever the third Nobody is. Provided it isn't Vexen. If it is, I'm lighting him on fire." Ventus snorted amused. "I'll cast wind magic to make it worse for the bastard if you like." Cassie laughed. Little by little she was recovering from the attempt on turning her into a puppet once more. Fred walked in and said, "Everyone's ready to go Cassie." She grabbed her bracelet and backpack before going with her cousin and friend into the commons. "Alright men and women. This is it. Demyx, Davis, Ken, and Vanitas you four are on distraction duty. Fred, George, and Gina you three are handling fireworks. Any of Xehanort's supporters show, light 'em up. Hermione, Draco, Ventus, Daphne, and Larxene your with me. We're the extraction team. The rest of you are to make sure any Heartless and Xehanort supporters are dealt with by any means. Less allies he has the easier it'll be to take him down later. Gear up and move out!"
Cassie's scrying mirror showed that Roxas, Axel, Namine, and their Sombodies were being held in Ansem the Wise's old lab in Radiant Garden. Ventus explained what was happening so the Restoration Commitee offered to help. Aerith helping Gina and the Twins. Yuffie helping the distraction team. Leon and the others helping Cassie's team.
Daphne saw Sora, Kairi, and Lea looking sick. She was fast to cast healing magic. To which she had gotten Poppy to teach her during the last school year. Marluxia had Roxas in his arms while Larxene had Namine. Leon had Axel on his back. Xaldin had Lea while Draco had Sora in his arms and Aerith had Kairi. Thanks to the distraction team they were able to get out of the lab. However, Vexen was waiting outside with Xehanort. Cassie transformed into her fairy form. Roxas and Axel were awake while Namine was stirring. Vexen actually attacked with an ice spell seperating the group. When he moved to freeze Roxas so Xehanort could control him, Cassie ran fast and shoved Roxas out of the way. Xehanort said, "So ends Number 14 once again." Ventus felt Cassie's magic bubbling beneath the surface before her power surged. He smirked and said, "Not quite." Fire and magic shattered the ice. Standing there was Cassie in a new fairy form. She wore a sapphire blue skirt and top with Emerald green and amethyst purple as the secondary colors. A pair of blue golves were on her arms while her wings were like a butterfly's colored sapphire blue, emerald greed, and amethyst purple. Around her neck was a choker with an eight point star charm that had a bottle connected to it. On her feet were silver wrap around sandals with sapphire blue star gems. her hair was up in a ponytail held up by an emerald green fire hair pin. Vanitas ever the one who gave descriptions and the like said, "Cassie's desire to protect Roxas enabled to achieve the third fairy transformation which is called Enchantix. Most fairies usually have unlocked their Basix or their first stage fairy form at this point. They usually don't gain their Enchantix forms until their final year at a Fairy College. Like Cassie's mother Lily attending Alfea University for Fairies." The part of Roxas that was Roran stirred and was in awe at his Moon Princess in her new magical form. Cassie in a voice that was not too different from Queen Serenity when she divorced Xehanort and banished him and his supporters from the Royal Court. "Vexen, you have crossed the line for the last time. Have at thee!" Despite Vexen's magic being Ice based, Cassie had lived with a pair of pranksters so she had more devious ideas. Icluding taking a pot shot and lighting Vexen's pants on fire. The scream he let out wouldn't sound out of place in a low budget cheesey horror flick. Which cracked Cassie's allies up. The ever loving pyromaniacs that were Axel and Gina especially crowed in joy. Just because she was vindictive and wanted to humiliate Vexen, Cassie turned him into a prissy little yapper dog wearing a bright pink tutu and matching bow. The tutu and bow were enchanted to not come off. Creating a projection of Cereberus made the Vexen dog run off whimpering making Xehanort and his cronies chase after him. Before he left Luxu said, "I loathe you." Cassie tossed a fireball at him promptiing him to run.
Once Sora, Lea, and Kairi were resting comfortably in the Restoration Commitee's headquarters Cassie and her group including Roxas, Axel, and Namine went back to the World That Never Was. Ventus asked some questions and settled bedding choices. He had Vanitas bring in the clean clothes for Roxas, Axel, and Namine. Dana Grayson came down with Cassie sending Daphne to pick her up. She gave the three basic check ups and gave them clean bills of health. Axel and Namine got the shot given without complaint. As predicted, Roxas was the one giving their group trouble. He ran down the halls of the Castle before hiding in an empty room. Roxas slumped to the ground in tears which made no sense to him. Cassie entered the room and hugged him which Roxas returned. Cassie looked at Roxas and said gently, "Roxas I promise there's nothing to be afraid of. Worst you'll feel is a tiny pin prick." Roxas said in a soft voice eyes filled with fear, "You promise?" Cassie's eyes softened, "I swear. If you want, I could give the shot." Roxas nodded and the two walked hand in hand down the halls of the Castle. Roxas giving Cassie's hand a squeeze. Sitting in the infirmary Roxas was shaking. Cassie said kindly, "Just keep still this will be over quick. When you wake up you'll be in your room here in the Castle. Once you've had some food there will be a meeting about what's going on next for our group. From there you can ask any question you want to." Roxas nodded as Cassie slid the needle in his arm. Roxas started to fall asleep as Cassie sang lullabies to him running her hand up and down his back. It was warm enough to lull him to sleep but not hot enough to be uncomfortable.
About four hours later as it was past two and therefor lunch time, Cassie made a lunch buffet because of A. how many people there were and B. how much she had seen those people eat or could eat herself. Magic users had to take in three times as many calories than non magic users. Roxas was eating sitting next to Cassie herself. He shot her some odd looks she was hoping she was interpreting correctly as was Namine and Axel. After the food including the sweets Cassie and Hermione made were devoured everyone was sitting in the commons as Zexion explained what happened to the World That Never Was. Roxas was furious as were the other former Organization members who had joined up with their side recently. Namine raised her hand and asked about the Silver Millennium. Artemis was quick to restore memories to those who didn't have them. Cassie when she admitted being the reincarnation of Princess Serentiy of Kingdom Hearts was shocked when Roxas kissed her. Roxas revealed he remembered while he was sleeping after getting the shot Cassie gave him. Cassie's teal eyes lit up and she tackled him in a hug.
The group had the livestock and everything ready. Flashlights and light spells were ready as they moved to one area that Lexeaus confirmed was once a park. In the center Xaldin had a hole dug in which Cassie planted the Hope Tree seed. Lexeaus and Axel used the two shovels to fill in the hole while Demyx and Daphne used water magic to provide the needed hydration. Cassie then instructed the Keyblade Wielders which did include Namine to summon their Keyblades and cast a Light spell. The effect was instantaneous to say the least. The tree grew fast as a wave of pure magic washed through the World restoring it to what it used to be. The Castle was no longer bleak and bland. It was now a soft silver color with a whitish pink trim. The cityscape was replaced by a softer more fairytale like setting. along with a few bigger buildings. The biggest change was the Nobodies. They changed into living people. They were so greatul for Cassie and her group for restoring their world, they were hailed as Rulers of their World. Demyx said, "Cassie is our group Leader." The residents of the former World That Never Was hailed Cassie as Princess Cassieopia. Roxas asked, "So what do we call this World now? We can't keep calling it The World That Never Was." Cassie said, "This world will now be called Hope's Garden of Redemption or Hope's Garden for short. As it was a Hope Tree that was used to restore this World."
The rest of the summer until it was time to head back to school was spent making Hope's Garden of Redemption look beautiful. The parks were lovely. Marluxia using his plant magic to grow shrubs in decorative forms, growing fruit trees, and plenty of flowers. There were playgrounds and benches and a central stage for concerts they would start peforming. Libraries and shops were restocked and gold was being exchanged. Some even were able to buy Gummi ships and start an inter world export and import company. It was very succcessful. The summer ticked on. Roxas and Cassie started their courtship properly. One night roughly a week before they had to leave to go get their school supplies, Namine opting to play Larxene's daughter and Marluxia's niece while Axel was in the role of Namine's father, there was an open air concert. Roxas had practiced a specific song he found online. It was called I'll Save You by a Youtuber named Jordan Sweeto. Roxas was doing main guitar and lead vocals. Ventus was on keyboard. Vanitas was on drums and Draco was playing bass.

Roxas first sang it for Cassie during one of their dates. He said the moment he heard it, he was reminded of the promise he'd made her during their lives in the Silver Millennium. That he would be the one to keep her Light shining. He then claimed it was 'their song' making Cassie feel so happy.
