Warning: Know of these characters are mine; they are from a show called Amphibia. This is an AU where instead of Anne being sent to Wartwood, Sasha in Toad Tower, and Marcy in Newtopia. Anne is in Toad Tower, Sasha is in Newtopia, and Marcy the main character of this AU is in Wartwood, Enjoy.
Chapter 2: The Fire-Shroom
"So yeah, that's how I found this person named Marcy and she needs a place to stay so can she stay here till we can get her home…. Please?" Maddie explains to her Dad and her sisters Rosemary, Lavender, and Ginger.
"Sure, we can let her stay here for a bit, but it's best not to let the rest of the town folk know". Mr. Flour says.
"She's not gonna replace us, right?" Rosemary states
"Relax, she won't replace you… NOW WHO WANTS TO MAKE SOME POTIONS"! Maddie yells.
"Oh I do, let's go already!" Marcy says.
They travel deep into the Amphibia swamp looking for ingredients, passing a tree with little creatures coming out of it.
"Hey, what are these things" Marcy says
"They're some weird tickets that lead you to a black markert of some sort" Maddie says.
"Hey, we should go check it out" Marcy says
"I would, but the bizarre bazaar won't be opening yet, we have to wait a few more days". Maddie says
"Ah man, maybe when it opens someone could help me find my friends " Marcy says.
"Not likely, I haven't been there at all, but it just gives me some bad vibes. Ah yes we are here".
Maddie stands in front of a strange looking hut.
"Is this your place?" Marcy asked.
"Yeah, I just go here to practice some of my magic, because not many frogs live around here".
Maddie takes out a list for an exploding potion.
"Alright I need a fire-shroom and musholine, i'll get the musholine and you get the fire-shroom".
"Doesn't a fire-shroom sound… too dangerous?" Marcy asked
"Trust me it won't be hard at all." Maddie says
Maddie runs away and tells Marcy to meet her back here.
Marcy starts to roam around the valley to find the fiery lake Maddie told her about, but then she hears some chatter.
"Alright so for this magic trick to work we need you to volunteer" A mysterious figure says.
"Uh okay, this should be fun". A normal citizen of Wartwood says.
"What in the world is going on?" Marcy says.
She looks inside the tent and sees a few salamanders chaining a frog on a table.
"Is this a cult?" Marcy questions.
Then she sees some fire-shrooms on the chains where the frog is and one of the salamanders is holding musholine.
"Oh No, if I don't do something that little frog is gonna die, ugh but what do i do" Marcy says.
She then remembers a stick she had in her bag so she uses it to fight off the salamanders and free the frog.
"Hey you monsters, uh let go of that frog go" Marcy yells
"Oh now what are you, I've never seen something like you," "I have an idea, let's study it" "Oh what a good idea" The three salamanders say.
Marcy tries to fight off the three, but she gets captured.
"Can't wait to find out what you're made of, whatever you are".
Marcy tries to think of a plan to get out of this situation, she then sees a couple of fire-shrooms on a stone table and some musholine on the floor. Her eyes glow green for a quick second. The salamanders are suddenly startled by this until Marcy uses all her strength to kick the table down dropping all the fire-shrooms and then uses her other leg to bring the musholine over there, the two things ignite causing the tent to explode, while Marcy questions how she is still alive after that blast, but she brushes it off.
"Huh, that was weird.. at least I got the fire-shrooms though I wonder where that frog went. Oh well I'm sure that frog is fine". Marcy says
She meets back with Maddie at the hut.
"You got the fire-shrooms" Maddie ask
"You bet I did." Marcy says
"Sweet, alright let's go home and make sure not to place these two things together." Maddie says
"You got it boss" Marcy says, but behind Marcy is one of the salamanders she beat up before, that one was somehow still alive.
"Oh that girl is gonna pay, right Zemgon" The salamander states.
"Oh yes she shall pay" the mysterious dark creatures says behind the salamander.
