Warning: Know of these characters are mine; they are from a show called Amphibia. This is an AU where instead of Anne being sent to Wartwood, Sasha in Toad Tower, and Marcy in Newtopia. Anne is in Toad Tower, Sasha is in Newtopia, and Marcy the main character of this AU is in Wartwood, Enjoy.
Chapter 3: Getting Along with Wartwood
"Alright, Marcy you better keep that hood on we don't want people seeing you" Maddie says to Marcy.
"Yeah, Yeah I know, I just wish I could talk to these people and do some interacting you know" Marcy says sadly.
"The people of Wartwood are not interested in new things, when I showed them magic they called me a monster, I just don't want you to experience that pain" Maddie says.
Marcy and Maddie walk into the local woodsmith's shop to find some candles.
"Welcome to my shop, how may I help you" Loggle says.
"We just need some candles" Maddie says.
"You got it, creepy little girl" Loggle says.
Marcy sees Maddie's sad expression on her face and genuinely feels bad for her.
"Hey you frog" Marcy says loudly.
"I'm actually an axolotl" Loggle says.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to assume you're a frog" Marcy says.
"Its alright" Loggle says
"Anyways, it's not fair to call Maddie that, she's actually a very nice girl" Marcy says.
"Wow, I can't believe you were able to teach some weird animal to talk" Loggle asks Maddie.
"Well guess what, I'm not a creature, I'm a HUMAN!" Marcy exclaims, taking off her hood revealing her true identity.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, stay back you hideous beast" Loggle yells as he runs out the shop warning everyone about Marcy.
"That was not the reaction I was expecting" Marcy says.
"What were you thinking Marcy?" Maddie yells.
"Oh don't worry, I'm sure the news won't spread that fast" Marcy says
30 Minutes Later.
"Run that hideous beast and that weird witch girl out of town" Mayor Toadstool yells.
Mayor Toadstool is with a bunch of town people outside of Mr. Flour's place.
"KIDS WHAT DID YOU DO!" Mr. Flour says.
"Okay so I may or may not have accidentally revealed that I am a human?" Marcy says.
"Did you not hear me when I told you to not tell anyone, how are we gonna deal with this" Mr. Flour says.
"Don't worry I have a plan" Marcy says.
As Marcy walks out the door the people are furious, holding torches straight at her fast.
"Listen, I know I may seem weird, but trust me I'm no monster. If you need any help you can ask for my help. You know, I'm great at fixing problems in my home world, so who's to say I can't be good here either". Marcy explains to the town folk.
"Hmm, how do we know we can trust you?" A citizen questions.
"Listen, give me 48 hours to help you guys out and I'll prove to you I'm trustworthy" Marcy says.
"Ugh, fine we will give you 2 days, but if you fail to prove to us we will run you out of town" Mayor Toadstool.
"Alright it's a deal" Marcy says.
As the town folk walk away Maddie gets angry
"Marcy, are you sure this is a good idea?" Maddie questions.
"Relax, I got this, I'll be able to win them over in no time" Marcy says.
At the Plantar's House
"I'm sorry kids, the crops seem to not be growing today, I don't think I'll be able to make some food". Hop Pop says.
"Oh cmon, I'm hungry". Sprig says.
Marcy overhears this conversation and decides to help.
"Hey, maybe I could help". Marcy asks.
"Ahhhh, stay back you beast" Hop Pop yells.
"Trust me, I got this" Marcy says.
As Marcy searches within the soil she finds a creature that has been eating all their food.
"I found your problem" Marcy says
"Wow, uh thank you that was really nice" Hop Pop says.
"Oh it's no problem, now off I go" Marcy says as she runs off.
Marcy goes around Wartwood helping the citizens like Wally, Ms. Croaker, and Loggle.
The Next Day
"Alright so it's been a few days, and it's safe to say I guess we can trust you" Mayor Toadstool says.
"Really, Yes mission complete" Marcy says.
As the town folk walk away Marcy and Maddie are really happy.
"Well, I say that was successful" Maddie says.
"Yeah, now I won't have to hide myself" Marcy says.
"Now do you want to work on some more curses?" Maddie asks.
"Sure, why not" Marcy says as they walk into the forest.
A few miles away from Wartwood.
"This girl is truly an interesting being" The mysterious salamander says.
"If she is not stopped her powers could be dangerous, I must stop her at all cost" The salamander says.
"Follow me Zemgon, we need to head to a town called Wartwood '' The salamander says as she walks away from a newspaper about Marcy.
