A long-awaited reunion

Light Sided (Loyalist) Mortal Plain of Existence Dimension #224,358,685.1 (Descendants Dimension #105.1)

United States of Auradon, Auradon City, Auradon Prep, Courtyard, May 30, 2015, 15:00

It was a few hours after the disaster that was support to be Family Day at Auradon Prep. The Auradon Kids and Villain Kids were seated outside at picnic tables, separate one, of course.

Prince Benjamin "Ben" Florian, soon to be King, approached the Villain Kids' table particularly his girlfriend Maleficent "Mal" Bertha, whom he hoped against hope would someday become his Queen, with an almost nervous smile. "Hi guys, how is everything going?" they all heard him ask, but before they could have answered in any way, Ben moved over to stand behind Mal, giving her a shoulder massage which kind of turned her on, although she wasn't about to let him know that because after tomorrow, she won't be able to be his girlfriend as she was being forced to help her Mother Maleficent the first take over Auradon by taking Fairy Godmother's Wand to her, "Yeah. Hey, listen. Forget about what happened earlier today. It was nothing. Just forget about it, let it go." He was reluctant to leave them on their own especially when they had been torn into by Prince Chad Charming and Queen Leah but know that he couldn't stay any longer as he had some coronation stuff to take care of like making sure that they had lots of strawberries for Mal, "I have to go. I'll see you later ok?" he then hesitantly walked away from them, leaving Mal on the verge of crying as her mate left her but hid it behind a tough girl persona. It won't do them any good to start crying. The damage had been done and after tomorrow it would be Doomsday for all that is good and beautiful and lovely in Auradon.

Off to the side, Doug has been pacing in the background, conflicted between his heart, which belonged to Evie, and his loyalty to his so-called friends. Finally, when Ben left the four VKs, he came to a decision: to Evie his heartful apology and hopefully ask her on a date this late April evening if he hadn't already blown his chance with her that is. The blunette girl looked up hopefully at him as he stuttered, "Listen can we talk in private about earlier today?"

"Sure," Mal said for her friend/sister as Evie looked stunned by his question and couldn't answer him herself, "just go easy on her, man. She is my sister after all and she has enough to worry about without being hurt by anyone else. You got me?" she gave him a serious look to which he nodded rather quickly before leading a still stunned Evie towards his Dorm at Auradon Prep.

Princess Audrey Beauty, the daughter of Princess Aurora Beauty and Prince Phillip, watched them go feeling bad as she as well as the whole courtyard had heard Mal call Evie her sister. But before she could've even apologized to the three remaining VKs, there was an extremely loud roar of sound from the skies above them all, it was so loud that it shook the very foundations of the Kingdom making everyone hold their hands to their ears. "AAARUGH YET ANOTHER TEAR IN THE TAPESTRY OF LIFE THAT MAKES TWENTY-ONE TEARS IN TOTAL."

Mal looked as if she recognized it from somewhere but couldn't her finger on where she could've heard before now. Everyone could see her expression of bewilderment even Evie, Doug, Ben, King Adam, Queen Belle, Princess Jasmine, Princess Snow White, the Seven Dwarves, Fairy Godmother, Queen Cinderella, King Charming, Aurora, Phillip, and Leah who had all dropped whatever they had doing to come and see what was going on.

"THAT DOES IT." the voice continued to roar, "I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THOSE KIDS OF HEROES TREATING MY DAUGHTER LIKE SHE IS YESTERDAYS TRASH JUST BECAUSE SHE GREW UP ON THE RAN-DOWN ISLE OF THE LOST. GET THEM UP HERE SO THAT WE CAN SHOW THEM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAY! NOW!"

And before the VKs AKs and Heroes could do more then look at each other in varying degrees of bewilderment, shook and some small degree of dread, they were all blinded by a bright light as they disappeared from this reality into whole 'nother ballcourt of reality.

"Mal."

'Where am I? Am I dreaming?' Mal thought to herself squeezing her eyes tightly closed.

"Mal, are you alright?"

Mal knew that voice anywhere. "Ben!" she whined at the boy in question as he kissed her full on the lips knowing full well that she wasn't ready displays of affection as she had never received one in her short sixteen years of life.

"Sorry, Sleeping Beauty," he apologized through his laughter at her reaction to that little trick, "but we were wondering if you were going to wake up." That caused her annoyance at pulled from what she considered a dream in the beautiful way possible to melt to a more curious as to what he meant by we.

"We?" Mal questioned Ben.

"Yeah," he answered her, "everyone that was at Family Day has been transported somewhere completely different…"

"Excuse me, Ben, but could not kiss that evil girl in front of me?" King Adam asked, interrupting his son's explanation to his girlfriend but instead receiving an "OK, Dad" from Ben or a "sorry, your highness" from Mal like he had expected he received an annoyed glare from Mal, Ben, Queen Belle, and all the other students of Auradon Prep, including the three remaining VKs who considered Mal their sister by another mother. King Adam know he was going to be sleeping in the guest bedroom at Beast Castle when they got back home.

However, before King Adam could attempt to apologize to Mal and Ben, there was a collective gasp of shock and disbelieve from Princess Jasmine, Princess Snow White, and Aurora which caused everyone else to turn towards them in question. That's when they saw it: a beautiful series of 50 ft tall by 25 ft wide stain glass windows that lined the hallway they were held in. One depicted Mal experiencing her first-ever kiss. Another one depicted Mal saving Evie's life from her mother's staff. Yet another one depicted Ben singing Did I Mention to Mal. And still, yet another one (albeit an incomplete one) depicted Mal's life from her birth to her current state of life.

"Everyone this is the Hall of Heroes also called the Entrance Hall of the Fates, where Mortal Heroes usually Demigods come to await the judgment of the Council of Fates and Destinies for their actions on the Mortal Plane of Existence," said almost kindly, feminine voice to which they turned around and found a tall, about nine feet in height, yet portly woman dressed in shining gold armor with golden eagle-like wings emerging from her shoulder blades, and with an almighty motherly disappointed frown upon her sunrise-red lips, "My name is Lady Fatea, the Goddess of Fates and Destinies, Head of the Council of Fates and Destinies and War Goddess of Battle Strategies."

"Ah good you've arrived," said a voice from the stairwell, when they all turned toward it, they found a tall man, about three meters when he was standing, dressed in a navy-blue uniform that had a ten-star insignia at each of the shoulder pads, and a combat helmet on his head. He curried himself calmly as though he knew that they could not hurt him in any way known to man, "I am Supreme Military Governor Stephmount of the Superterritory/the Home Quadrant, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Eighteenth Elite Army, Lord Admiral of the Home Quadrant Defense Armada, Lord Air Marshal of the Nineteenth Air Corps, Head of the Special Forces Corps, Heir Appoint of the Heir Appoint of the Immortal Confederation's Throne, Father of the Immortal Confederation's Constitution Act, Father of the Modern Immortal Confederation's Military Act, Father of the Immortal Confederation's Rights and Freedoms Act, Member of the Immortal High Command Council, Honorary Member of the Council of Fates and Destinies, Defender of Mount Congotowarrior, and the Hero of the Fifty Years Demons War."

Although he said his words calmly, one could see clear as day through a crystal glass an almightily fatherly disappointment within his sea-blue eyes. It was very hard to look at but all of their little group bravely maintained eye contact with him which seem to slightly amuse him, much to their confusion. He lightly chuckles for a few minutes before his chuckles become full-blown belly moving laughs. He finally stopped his laughter and looked much more serious.

"I'm also Mal's Father." That one little statement caused Mal to run over to her newly discovered father yelling in a childlike voice, "DADDY," before throwing her arms around him in a hug and firing off one million questions at him, like "why did you leave me on the Isle of the Lost?" and, "Do you not love me enough to take me and my friends away from that Hades pit?" you know, stuff like that.

"Breathe Mal," the Supreme Military Governor said when it seemed that she had exhausted her questions, for the moment that is, "the reason I left you and your friends/surrogate siblings is because you needed to be tested by adversity. I also couldn't be there for you when you arrived at Auradon Prep because for some stupid reason Immortal parents to half-bloods like yourself are not allowed to visit their children. Also, if I took you four from the Isle of the Lost and put on the doorstep of… say Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella, you four would've been so spoiled rotten that you wouldn't be willing to help the other children from the Isle that young Benjamin brought over to give them a shot at a normal life."

"OK, Daddy," said a highly embarrassed Mal, having heard a few snickers from Jay, Chad, and a few of Auradon Knights Tourney Team Players when she had yelled DADDY but a quick glare from Ben and Evie shut up all but Chad who didn't really care that he was being glared at by a couple of people he didn't particularly like but a disapproving glare from both Queen Cinderella and King Chramming shut him up just as well.

"Excuse Mr. Stephmount, but why are we here?" asked Adam for the rest of their little group.

"Alright, tell us, Young King Adam, how would you like to get to know Mal here from just before she came to Auradon to the time she weds your only son in four and a half years?" Lady Fatea asked.

Immediately, there was a might scream of YES, I KNOW IT from every girl and woman and a fair few guys in the group a couple of the self-same guys fist-bumped Ben to congratulate him on scoring a hot one.

Once all the fanfare had ceased, all eyes turned towards Adam pleading with him to say yes. "Yes, I would love to get to know Mal and her surrogate siblings better," King Adam said under pressure from literally everyone, "I'm sorry to ask this, but how do we do that?"

"Follow us into the Great Hall of the Fates and we will tell you how you all will do that," the Supreme Military Governor said before leading the rather large group of AKs, VKs, relatives, and Heroes into a Great Hall so large that it could have swallowed the entirety of the Earth thrice over and still had enough room for London, Paris, Warsaw, Washington DC, Berlin, Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo, Taipei, and Amman. This was the Great Hall of the Fates. This was the beating heart and breathing lungs of the massive citadel that is known as the Ministry of Fates and Destinies, a massive Flying Citadel that could have swallowed the entirety of the Earth twenty times over.
