Happy 29th Birthday to Me and Happy 55th Birthday to my Dad!

This is the biggest mass update I have done

Chapter .4.

Rose and the other Children of Time watch as Canton looks around the TARDIS in shock. Many of them sure smiles each remembering their own reactions to seeing the inside of the TARDIS for the first time.

"Breath", Martha tells him gentle patting his back.

"It is alright", Sarah Jane adds.

"Take it easy big boy", Jack says slapping him on the back.

"It gets better", Mickey tells him slapping him on the back too.

Rose was paying more attention to the Doctor as he runs around the controls. Rose smiles it seemed even through he regenerated he was still the same. This was her Third Doctor well Three and a Half if you included the Metacrisis Doctor. And they all seemed to sure the same enthusiasm and madness.

"Jefferson isn't a girl's name. It's not her name, either. Jefferson, Adams, Hamilton. Rose? Donna?", the Doctor says as he goes around the console.

He looks at his best friend he just got back. He was still trying to figure out just how he got his Rose back. How did she get out of that Parallel world? Where was Jackie? And her Dad and Brother? Why would she leave them?

"Surnames of the three of America's founding Fathers", Rose replies.

"Right as always you are my clever Rose. Lovely fellows. Two of them fancied me", the Doctor states smiling.

Jack snorts, "Really Doc? I bet they would go for me over you"

"That would be interesting to see. Especially with the way you still blush", Mickey states smirking.

"And gets jealous of other guys", Jack laughs with a knowing look between Rose and the Doctor.

The Doctor blushes. Rose had trained herself at Torchwood not to blush. She felt sorry for the Doctor but decides to join in.

"And stutters over words", Rose adds.

The Doctor scowls at them.

"You too Rose?" the Doctor asks her.

"Just pulling your chain Doctor", Rose says with her tongue between her teeth.

The Doctor smiles fondly at her and it was clear she was already forgiven.

"River! Amy! Martha! Sarah Jane! Come help me out here", the Doctor calls.

The girls smirk at the Doctor.
"Don't be a baby Doc", Jack tells him.

While they were teasing the Doctor. Canton was still looking around in shock. Rory, Martha and Sarah Jane look at him in sympathy.

"Are you okay, coping?" Rory asks him.

"It is…", Canton starts.

"Remember deep breaths", Martha instructs hoping that Canton wouldn't faint.

"You see, the President asked the child two questions, 'Where are you?' and 'Who are you?' She was answering…", the Doctor was cut off by Rose.

"She was answering where", Rose replies smiling.

"Correct Rose Tyler! Smart as ever", the Doctor says to her smiling.

Rose smiles at him. He was still that same as ever.

"It's bigger on the inside", Canton says still having trouble believing everything.

"Ah, you get used to it", Rory tells him.

"Now, where would you find, three big historical names in a row like that?" the Doctor asks.

"Where?" Amy asks.

"Here!" the Doctor says as the TARDIS jerks to a stop.

"Come on!" the Doctor calls everyone.

They all rush to follow the Doctor out. Only to be stopped by Canton.
"It's, uh…", Canton starts.

"Are you taking care of this?" Doctor asks Rory.

"Why is it always my turn?" Rory asks as they head out.

"Because you're the newest", Amy says kissing Rory before leaving.

"And the Doc needs us to keep him out of trouble", Mickey adds slapping Rory on the back.

"Because even in the safest place he would find trouble and so would Rosie", Jack adds patting Rory on the shoulder.

They look around and they seemed to be inside an abandoned building. They had to turn on flashlights to see in the dark room.

"Where are we?" Amy asks.

"About five miles from Cape Kennedy Space Centre", the Doctor replies, "It's 1969 the year of the moon. Interesting don't you think?"

"But why would a little girl be here?" Amy asks.

Rose was only paying them a little attention. She felt like something was off about this whole situation.

"Jack, Mickey, Martha, Sarah-Jane does this seem right to you?" Rose asks them.

"Not one bit", Jack replies eyes narrowing as he looks around.

"It looks a bit too…", Mickey starts.

"Convenient?" Sarah-Jane suggests.

"Yes that", Mickey replies.

"So that only leaves us with really only one possibility", Rose replies looking around.

"A trap", Jack states hissing.

"Likely", Rose states.

"Designed for the Doctor", Sarah-Jane says.

"We need to stick close together", Martha suggests to them.

"Like we will be going off solo with what has happened in the last few hours", Mickey mutters as they walk.

"I don't know. Lost me a bit. The President asked the girl where she was and she did what any lost little girl would do. She looked out the window", the Doctor says going to the window and lifting the blinds.

"Streets! Of course, street names", Amy replies.

"The only place in Florida, probably all of America, with those three street names on the same junction. And Doctor Song, you've got that face on again", the Doctor says looking at River.

"What face?" River asks.

"The 'He's hot when he's clever' face", the Doctor replies.

"And he thinks I'm bad", Jack whispers to Rose, Martha, Mickey, and Sarah-Jane who were right near him.

"That's because you chase anything that moves Jack. Alien or Human", Rose replies rolling her eyes. Looking at him fondly.

"No I…", Jack starts to deny it.

But everyone gives him a pointed look. They ALL knew him too well. Rose just knew him more then others. She considered him her best friend after the Doctor. Even after so much time having past since she last saw him.

"Oh already maybe it is true", Jack mutters sulkily.

"Maybe?" Rose asks smiling.

"Fine. Its true", Jack replies with a small pout.

"This is my normal face", River replies.

"Yes, it is", the Doctor replies.

"Oh shut up", River says walking away.

"Not a chance", the Doctor replies.

The Doctor was determined to keep a close eye on Rose. He wasn't letting her out of his sight again. He didn't think he would survive being separated from her again. But would she get pulled back to Pete's World?

But why were they here?

How did they all come together?

How did Rose cross the void back into this world?

Why were Amy, Rory and River acting all strange?

There were so many questions he wanted answered.

"Oi alright Doctor?" Rose asks him gently touching his arm.

"Always am Rose", the Doctor replies with a smile.

Rose rolls her eyes, "You always say that. But basically said that twice to me then regenerated"

"Trust me I have no plans to regenerate any time soon", the Doctor promises her.

"You better not", Rose says her eyes going hard.

He goes back to looking around the desk and picks up the phone looking at it.

That's when Canton and Rory come out of the TARDIS.

"We've moved. How can we have moved?" Canton asks still in shock.

"You haven't even got to space travel yet?" the Doctor asks looking slightly annoyed.

Rose, Jack, Mickey snicker at the look on the Doctor's face at the moment. Sarah-Jane and Martha give Rory sympatric looks.

"I was going to cover it with time travel", Rory replies shutting the TARDIS doors.

"Time travel?" Canton asks looking at Rory.

"Braveheart Canton, come on", the Doctor tells them turning around.

"So we're in a box that's bigger on the inside and it travels through time and space?" Canton asks as they walk.

"Yea, basically", Rory replies.

"How long have Scotland Yard had this?" Canton asks.

The companions have to hold in a chuckle at Canton's words. If only he knew the half of it.

But it wasn't Scotland Yard. UNIT mostly got the help from the Doctor when they asked.

"It's a warehouse of some kind, disused", River tells them scanning the area.

"You realise this is almost certainly a trap, of course?" the Doctor asks them.

"Of course we do Doctor. We are not stupid", Mickey tells him.

"Could have fooled me", Jack mutters.

"What was that Captain Cheesecake?" Mickey asks the Immortal.
"Nothing Mickey Mouse", Jack replies innocently.

Rose and Martha look at each other before nodding and whacking the boys around the head.

"What was that for?" Jack complains.

"You know what", Rose replies.

"I noticed the phone, yes", River replies getting them back on track.

"What about it?" Amy asks.

"It was cut off", Rose states getting an annoyed look from River.

"So how did the child phone from here?" River asks everyone rhetorically.

"Okay, but why would anyone want to trap us?" Amy asks.

"Who do you think is behind this?" Martha asks the other Past Companions.

"Not Cyberman we would see some sign of them", Sarah Jane says flashing her torch over everything.

"Or Daleks as we would already be dead already", Jack says.

"Or Judoon. They are to big, flashy and clumsy. After all they took the WHOLE hospital I was working at to the moon to look for a fugitive and wouldn't give us enough oxygen. And where fooled by the same woman they were hunting", Martha adds.

"Not Sontaran's either. Not their style either. They prefer a direct attack and not hiding in the shadows. They would consider it cowardly", Jack mutters.

"I agree AND their over confident and arrogant", Mickey mutters.

"Dunno. Let's see if anyone tries to us and work backwards", the Doctor says as they look around.

The Old Companions roll their eyes. Isn't this his normal plan?

"Isn't this your normal plan Doc?" Jack asks what they are thinking.

"I don't always do…", the Doctor starts.

The Five Old Companions give him a pointed look.

"Fine you win", the Doctor grumbles.

Amy was giving them looks. She still didn't know if they could be trusted. After all how come she had never met them before today?

"Now, why would a little girl be here?" River asks.

"I don't know. Let's find her and ask her", the Doctor states.

"With you Doc it is never that easy", Jack tells him flashing his torch around cautiously.

"And we normally have to run for our lives", Mickey adds.

The Doctor rolls his eyes, "Nobody asked you two"

The Girls roll their eyes fondly at the familiar bickering.

"It's nonterrestrial. Definitely alien", River states scanning the table, "Probably not even from this time zone. Which is odd, because look at this!"

"Which is odd, because look at this!" the Doctor says going over to the table with all bits and pieces on it.

"It's earth tech, contemporary", River states.

"Very contemporary, cutting-edge. This is from the space programme!" the Doctor tells them.

"Stolen?" River asks.

"What, by aliens?" Amy asks.

"Apparently", the Doctor replies with the helmet in his hands.

"But why? I mean, if you can make it all the way to Earth, why steal technology that can barely make it to the moon?" Amy asks.

"Maybe, 'cause it's cooler! Look how cool this stuff is!" the Doctor says putting on the helmet.

"Cool aliens?" Amy asks.

"Well what do you call me?" the Doctor asks.

Rose, Jack, Martha, Donna, Mickey and Sarah Jane roll their eyes. It seemed the Doctors ego was still that same.

"Your ego hasn't changed then", Sarah Jane states mildly.

"It needs to be deflated", Rose adds.

"Whatever do you mean?" the Doctor asks looking at them insulted.

"Forget it", Rose and Sarah-Jane mutter.

"But your right", Martha whispers to them for only the Old Companions to hear.

Jack, Mickey snicker when they see the Doctor's disgruntled face.

"An alien", Amy states.

"Oi! I, uh…I think he's okay now", Rory says coming over with Canton by his side.

"Ah! Back with us, Canton?" the Doctor asks.

"I like your wheels", Canton states.

"That's my boy", the Doctor says, "So come on. Little girl, lets find her"

"So how dangerous will this advantage be on Doctor's scale?" Jack asks his friends only half-joking.

"Oh maybe about a 8 or 9", Rose states mildly.

"When isn't it an 8 or 9 and us running for our lives?" Mickey asks.

"Lets find that little girl I am worried about her", Martha states.

"We all are. What we are seeing is just wrong", Sarah Jane agrees.

They follow the Doctor but they all had many questions going through their minds.

Who was the Little Girl?

And how was she connected to the Doctors death?
