This is the biggest mass update I have done
Chapter .4.
"I am a Basilisk. The Wizarding worlds darkest and most dangerous creature", Artemis admits.
Foaly gasps, "You mean the snake that can kill you with just one look?"
"That is correct. But I can also change into a hawk. Too nobody is sure why. But I can speculate it has something to do with the YOUR influence", Artemis replies with a small smile.
How?" Holly asks.
"I can guess the magic of your kind as bonded with me. Like when we swapped eyes. That it can me the gift to change into two forms", Artemis replies.
"I am not sure if I believe it", Trouble says looking at Artemis sceptical.
Artemis rolls his eyes and forces on his Hawk form and he transforms right it front of their eyes. The Hawk flaps his wings and flies around them. Before landing on Holly's shoulder.
"Artemis?" Holly asks shocked putting her hand on his feathers and stroking them.
Seeing was believing after all.
The Hawk cries and nudges her face before jumping off her shoulder and transforming into a huge snake that hisses at them.
Before the snake transforms into Artemis.
"So you believe?" Artemis asks them.
Foaly was looking at Artemis with an expression on his face like Artemis just broke his favourite toy.
"I think you just broke Pony-Boy", Holly says with a smirk looking at Foaly's face.
To Artemis this was very, very enjoyable.
"Fantastic. I just broke my competition", Artemis replies with his trademark Artemis smirk.
"You just broke the laws of physics and everything I believe in", Foaly tells him with a pout.
"My people's magic. Rarely follows the laws of physics", Artemis replies dryly, "And there are many things out in my world that you have no clue that really exist"
"Such as?", Foaly asks.
"I am sure you can't surprise us", Trouble says with confidence.
"Have you seen Unicorns? Dragons? Giants? Birds such as Thunderbirds and Spiders that are as big as this room? Mermaids? Kelpies? Pegsei? Chimera? Hippogriffs? Manticore's? Griffins?..." Artemis reels off.
"Ok, ok! We get it", Trouble grumbles.
"I think we need to accept the things in Artemis's world we might not be able to understand", Holly calls a truce.
"Maybe in time I can show you some of the things you will learn about", Artemis offers.
"Thank you", Qwan says.
"What is this war we are in?" Holly asks.
"Your not in this war. It isn't your fight", Artemis says trying to get them to leave.
"You saved us a number of times. It is time we return the favour", Holly replies looking at the others for backup.
"I guess she is right", Trouble grumbles.
"No1 and I are with you. You helped save our people", Qwan tells him.
"And you saved my like a number of times. I guess this is one of the times I can pay you back", Holly adds.
"It is I who owe you Holly", Artemis replies.
"Why?" Holly asks.
"Because I kidnapped you. Not for the gold. But to heal my Mother. Who I needed", Artemis admits.
"That is one thing I wanted to ask you. As I don't get it. Couldn't you have healed your Mother?" Foaly asks having thought about it.
Why couldn't Artemis have healed his own Mother?
"Because even to us there is limits and the mind damage is one of them", Artemis replies.
"That can't be…", Foaly starts.
"Drop it. You should know that my Mother wasn't the most mind damage one among us. Neville's parents were tortured into insanity. Just because they stood with the Potters and the Order. They now spend their days in the Mind Damaged Ward at our hospital that is called St Murgos. They don't recognise anyone even their own son. Who was just over a year old when they were tortured till their minds broke", Artemis tells them grimly.
Holly, Trouble, Foaly, Caballine, Qwan, No1 all looked shocked and disgusted that someone would torture someone till their minds broke.
Who would do that? How sick can you be to do that to another human being?
'I guess Opal looks like a saint compared to that', Holly thinks grimly.
"I hope that person who did that suffers", Caballine states.
"One had the Dementors Kiss and the other three are now HIS Lieutenants and one whose name is Bellatrix is a psycho bitch who makes Opal look sane and completely normal. Bellatrix is the post person for a psychopath along with HIM", Artemis informs them.
"What is the Dementors Kiss?", Holly asks
"And what are Dementors?" Foaly asks.
"A Dementors Kiss is where a Dementor, who are the foulest creatures in our world, can draw the happiness out of anyone. They leave behind only misery. They are used to guard the Wizard inhuman Prison of Azkaban. But they also have another use. A basic death sentence. They can suck the soul out of anything", Artemis replies grimly.
Again they looked sick. Who would condone that?
"Who would condone that?" Holly asks looking disgusted.
"The British Ministry. The ICW even think they are inhuman and don't want anyone using them", Artemis replies.
"What is the ICW?" Holly asks.
"The ruling body of Wizards and Witches. It stands for the International Confederation of Wizards. It is basically the equivalent to the United Nations but in wizard terms", Artemis informs them.
"And why can't they help you now?" Holly asks.
"Trust me wizard politics are worse then the Muggle World AND your world put together", Artemis replies.
They look at him sceptically.
"I swear it is true. Cross my heart", Artemis says, "I hate Magical politics. And I am the Heir of the House of Fowl"
That surprised them who knew Artemis would hate politics?
"Anyway if anyone deserved the Dementors Kiss it is HIM", Artemis admits, "He is as bad if not worse than Hitler. He is the spirt of evil"
They all look at him wide eyed. What had they gotten themselves into?
Before they could say anything. There suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"Come", Artemis calls.
Butler opens the door, "The Order of the Phoenix is calling a meeting"
"I'll be right down", Artemis replies.
Butler nods and leaves.
"What is the Order of the Phoenix?" Caballine asks.
"An organisation that is dedicated to fighting HIM and foundered by Albus Dumbledore", Artemis replies.
"Who is Albus Dumbledore?" Foaly asks.
"He was the greatest wizard of our times. The only person HE was ever scared off and Dumbledore bought strength to us to fight him", Artemis replies.
"You said was", No1 states.
"He fell in Battle a few weeks ago", Artemis admits.
"Then how do you except to fight? If your only hope died a few weeks ago", Holly asks.
"He is not our only hope. Now ALL our bets are on another and we must do our best to see everything through to the final battle and end this reign of terror", Artemis replies.
"Who is your hope?" Holly asks.
"And how do you expect to fight someone that is as bad as Hitler?" Foaly asks.
"You just talked to him. Our hope is Harry Potter and WE are his army"
