Highschool of the Dead: Sith Conquest

Three years after the Sacking of Coruscant, Darth Malgus receives an order to find an ancient Rakatan artifact that has caught the attention of the Sith Emperor. Located on Earth in the Unknown Regions, the retrieval of the artifact will improve Malgus's Imperial status and help him with his secret plans, but he must fight his way through zombies and Republic forces to get it.

1. Author's Note

Hello followers and newcomers! I'm here to announce that this story will be a Star Wars + Highschool of the Dead crossover that will feature Darth Malgus and the Sith Empire. The story will be taking place 3 years after the Sacking of Coruscant and the events of the Deceived novel during the start of the Cold War. Unlike my previous stories, this one will be considerably different with some major changes.

Firstly, the Star Wars and Highschool of the Dead universes will be merged as one. There won't be any otherworldly power that transports Malgus into the HotD universe or vice versa. Earth and the HotD characters will be located somewhere in the Unknown Regions and they will be discovered by the Sith Empire for the first time. I will reveal how this occurs when I release the first chapter.

Secondly, this story will feature multiple Star Wars factions. The Jedi and Galactic Republic will appear a lot throughout the story, and I might even add some Mandalorians or smugglers depending on how the story develops and if I feel like they should be added. This story is still mainly focused around the Sith and especially Malgus, but it will switch to a Jedi/Republic perspective from time to time.

Lastly, this story is going to be much longer than my previous ones. For now I'm predicting at least 80,000 to 90,000 words, perhaps more depending on my thought process and ideas as the story develops. I plan on making this a stand-alone story without any sequels, but that could possibly change. I'm fairly certain that this will be a single story.

The reason I chose Highschool of the Dead for this crossover over other universes is because I wanted to use a more realistic universe that matches real life (minus the zombie pandemic) and see how an advanced and mystical universe like Star Wars would operate in a modern and realistic world setting. I realize that the HotD anime show has been dead for years, though I'm not sure how the light novels/manga are doing. HotD seems to be fairly popular in the story forums and I noticed the lack of Star Wars + HotD crossovers so I decided to make one myself. HotD was the thing that got me into anime and it was nice watching it again after so many years.

I'm currently in the process of watching the HotD episodes and I'm about half way through the Deceived novel. It may be weeks before I publish the first chapter since I want to pursue other hobbies and write the story at an easy pace. Also, if any of you have any special requests for the story or things that you would like to see happen in the storyline, feel free to tell me via review or private message (it can be from either universe and about a character, object, event, etc.). If the request or feedback is reasonable and appropriate, I will take it into consideration as I type up my chapters and see if it can be implemented. You can tell me at any time throughout the story progress.

Edit 1: I have just finished reading the Deceived novel, and I decided to read the SW short story The Third Lesson for more content on Malgus. I will now begin typing up the first chapter. I have no clue when the first chapter will be uploaded...perhaps two weeks from now as a wild guess. I will post another edit when I have a better idea on the chapter's publication date.

Edit 2: I've been making quicker progress on the first chapter than expected. I plan on publishing the chapter in a few days or so.
