"I still have this…but…why?" Luffy asked staring down at a special object that was a gift from the woman he planned to marry. He had found himself back on Dawn Island all of a sudden just before becoming the Pirate King and while annoyed that he was so close and yet so far at the same time, he realized that he still had all of his scars and abilities although he needed to train his Haki again to get back up to his previous level."

"Yeah suddenly having our powers nerfed like that, even just for a while, was a pain in the ass." Sanji said scowling and immediately getting a whack upside the head from Nami.

"Language around Sabo!" Nami scolded earning a nod of thanks from Amande.

"Not just that but he also had the present from the woman he loved.

Most hadn't been able to understand why he loved her, but that didn't bother either of them and his crew just accepted it as another quirk of their beloved captain."

"Yeah it didn't really surprise any of us. And as long as you treat him right, which we know you would, then we'd be happy to accept you as his wife and our Queen." Zoro said shrugging his shoulders and the rest of the crew nodded in agreement while Brulee gave them all a thankful smile.

"Loving a woman many wouldn't or would never think he'd be interested in although they were amused that she loved him back just as much, even if she had a tough time showing it. Robin called her a Tsundere or something like that?"

"Yeah Brulee's always been bad with her emotions around other people, even when we were kids." Broye said with a grin towards her twin who gave her a playful scowl in return.

"Luffy still didn't get it but he thought it was hilarious watching his beloved yell at his crew when they called her that where she could hear."

"Yeah it's always fun watching her go off when we call her a Tsundere." Usopp said with a laugh.

"I'm not a Tsundere!"

"See?" Usopp motioned to Brulee as he looked at the Big Mom pirates and Whitebeards around, making more than a few of them snicker.

"This gift was very special too. It had been made by his fiancée for his birthday and…it allowed her direct access to him. As long as he had it in his possession he was never alone because she could find him anywhere in the world with it."

"A mirror then. But I've never heard of you being able to do something like that with your mirrors before." Big Mom said looking at her daughter who shrugged.

"I only learned I could do it after training with them for a couple of months." Brulee said and Big Mom and her siblings nodded their understanding at that. Maybe a new perspective was all she needed to master her Devil Fruit…if she could do it in a few months who knew what a few months with a new perspective could do for the rest of them…

"So I can come find you." The voice of his beloved rang from within the object, making Luffy jump and stare surprised as his beloved rose from the object with a smile on her face.

"Hey are you okay? This would be the biggest distance you ever crossed isn't it?"

"It was and it was exhausting but after I got used to going back and forth like that it didn't drain me too much anymore." Brulee said shrugging her shoulders at that and knowing that she had nearly been knocked out for a day after that.

"Luffy immediately began his worried fretting over the woman who let out a small laugh but she seemed tired.

"That was exhausting. Yeah that's the largest distance I've ever covered…don't be surprised if I sleep for two days." She said smiling at him and leaning on his smaller frame when he hugged her close, lengthening his legs with his rubber powers so that it wasn't so awkward for her."

"I don't just love you for your devil fruit dear…but I have to admit I do like the benefits that comes with it." Brulee said with a certain kind of smirk on her face as she looked at her husband who grinned back at her.

"Oh trust me I know you do." Luffy said making his crew snicker.

"So did everyone else in a two mile radius until Franky put in some sound proofing." Nami said dryly and Brulee blushed a bit but wasn't that bothered by it.

"His devil fruit?" Smoothie wondered what kind of devil fruit would let someone stretch and what good it would be.

"I ate the gum gum fruit. I'm a Rubber man. Which means I can stretch and inflate my body as well as compress it." Luffy said and he bit his thumb to blow air into hand to show them.

Big Mom and more than a few of her daughters jaw dropped at that and then began cursing at Brulee's luck for nabbing him first.

"Why? You had to know we'd come for you…I'd come for you?" Luffy asked looking at her worried and making her smile slightly wider as she leant into him.

"I…I wasn't sure at first that you remembered like I did. It took me a while to work up the courage to check and see if our connection was still there…and when I did I just couldn't stay away. I…I wanted to be with you for your whole journey. Living it is different from reading about it or hearing about it." She said blushing slightly as she looked away causing Luffy to laugh slightly as he kissed her cheek."

"As if I could ever forget you." Luffy said giving her an adoring smile that made her blush a bit and bury her face in his shoulder.

"Well…we leave in a week just to keep to the schedule from last time. I'm…not sure if anyone else remembers though." Luffy admitted making her smile slightly wider at him."

"We all remembered!" The Straw Hats claimed in unison as they grinned at their captain.

"Oh I know at least a few people who do remember, my little minions/friends from when we met asked me why I was suddenly back on the Island and why no one was trying to attack me as soon as they saw me in the woods. So at least those three remember. They agreed to spy and let me know if I'm needed there or someone gets suspicious."

"Minion/friends?" Compote asked tilting her head at her sister.

"Randolph, Diesel, and King Baum are her closest friends that aren't family." Katakuri said immediately and earning a nod from his favorite sister.

"She said making Luffy blink up at her for a moment.

"Why?" Luffy asked clueless no matter how long it's been since he started dating her. She and Robin had been the main tacticians of the crew after all, he was just the one to make decisions and hit things."

"Yeah I'm not good at stealth and the rubber makes it hard for me to think." Luffy said with a shrug as he admitted that easily.

"At least you have the excuse of your Devil Fruit. What's Zoro's excuse for following your insane ideas?" Nami asked raising an eyebrow at the swordsman who grinned at her.

"We share the same brain cell." Zoro said and the rest of the crew started snickering or laughing at that while Nami face palmed. Of course they did.

"Well look at it this way. It doesn't seem like anyone outside of our crew, official or not, will have their memories. Which means I could be an inside agent until you and the others come and get me from the island." She said grinning and making Luffy shrug slightly.

"If that's what you want to do and you think it's a good idea. Then you have my support just like always but…don't put yourself in danger okay? You and the others get out of there immediately if you think you might be busted or might be in trouble." Luffy said making her smile softly and kiss him for being worried about her.

"But I'm always worried about you? You're really strong and smart but I never want anything bad to ever happen to you." Luffy said looking at his wife curiously and she pulled him into a kiss.

"It won't. After all I've got you don't I?" Brulee asked and Luffy grinned widely, giving her a quick kiss back.

"Of course darling." She murmured as she pulled back from the kiss, making Luffy grin at her and suddenly return to being hyperactive and goofy. His goofy nature had been one of the reasons she fell in love with him after all, the fact that he didn't care about her scars or what others deemed as her worst features was another."

"Worst features? But Brulee doesn't have any bad features? She's perfect." Luffy said looking confused and Brulee blushed brightly at that.

"Just because you think that dear doesn't mean anyone else does." Brulee said and Luffy's eyes narrowed as his Haki started pouring out.

"Who's been insulting my wife? I just want to talk." Luffy asked and his eyes were shaded making Brulee sigh but look at him with eyes full of love and adoration.

"Calm down you loveable goof. Robin please keep reading before he goes on a massacre." Brulee said and Robin raised an eyebrow.

"Oh you think I'll stop him? No one insults one of us and gets away with it." Robin asked looking amused and Brulee sighed heavily.

"Most of the ones who say those kinds of things are already dead so please just drop it." They could tell that she was hiding something from them but they knew better than to push so they just nodded with small frowns.

"Come on. We're here for a week and I want to introduce you to Dadan and the guys, and Makino, and Mayor Woodslap." Luffy said tugging her hand and leading her from the woods towards the mountains.

"You want to show me off." She teased earning a beaming grin from him.

"Who wouldn't want to show off their amazingly beautiful wife?" Luffy asked earning a blush and bright but embarrassed smile from her."

"You adorable dork." Brulee said trying to hide her blushing but happy face from him by burying it in his shoulder.

"Yours!" Luffy said with a grin and she nodded. Damn right he was hers and she didn't share.

"We aren't married yet darling." She corrected him softly only for him to give her a grin and a serious look.

"We can get married whenever you want. I can ask the Mayor before we leave or we can wait until the crew's together. Either way is fine with me." Luffy said earning a surprised look and then a blush from his fiancée."

"The Crew being all together. No question about it." Brulee said immediately as she smiled at her Nakama who all smiled back brightly.

"Let's wait until the crew is all together. It would be…wrong to not have them there…especially since I promised Robin she would be the Maid of Honor." She said after a moment, avoiding his eyes as he pulled her gently towards a hut."

"And Zoro is the best man!" Luffy said grinning at his first mate who raised a mug of ale he had gotten from somewhere and grinned back.

"Aye captain." Zoro said and none of the crew was surprised to hear this at all.

"Brat what are you doing and who is that lady?!" A…woman? Demanded glaring at Luffy although it was obvious that there was no real heat behind it since most of the apparent bandits seemed terrified by the newcomers impressive height."

"Sounds like Dadan and the Bandits alright. Act big and bad but honestly wimps sometimes. They mean well though!" Ace said grinning.

"Dadan! Dadan this is the woman who's going to be my wife and Pirate Queen." Luffy said brightly as he hugged his fiancée close, making her blush a bit.

"Pirate Queen this is my foster mom Dadan. She's the leader of the Mountain Bandits." Luffy said while Dadan and the bandits mouths dropped open in disbelief as they stared between the two of them."

"I still can't believe that your grandfather thought leaving you with mountain bandits would make you a Marine." Jinbe said shaking his head in disbelief and making the rest of the Straw Hats and Ace nod their agreement.

"Yeah Gramps didn't make a lot of sense with that." Ace said looking sheepish while his crewmates looked like they were both surprised and not surprised to learn he was raised by bandits.

"You could at least tell them my name darling." She said grinning slightly and elbowing Luffy gently.

"Whatever you say Twig." Luffy teased making her blush brightly and glare at him a bit for the use of that nickname."

"Oh? Does it have a dirty meaning?" Broye asked grinning at the chance to tease her twin who blushed but glared.

"No! That's what he called me when he invaded Mama's kingdom the first time around! He called me Twig so often that when he did use my name I told him that my name was Twig!" Brulee said giving her husband an annoyed look but he just laughed a bit and hugged her.

"She shoved him a bit in the shoulder as she retorted even as the Bandits kept gaping at her in disbelief, although Dadan snickered a bit at hearing her being called a twig.

"My name is not Twig and you know I don't like it when you call me that! It's Brulee you goofball!"

"I know your name love. I just like calling you a Twig cause it riles you up." Luffy said and he kissed her nose making her blush a bit.

"You getting me riled up is probably what led to the baby." Brulee said making Luffy grin at her.

"I mean I wasn't complaining at the time and neither were you!" Luffy said and Brulee blushed brighter at that.

"B-Baka! Not around my mother and siblings!" Brulee said looking away from him with a bright red face and he laughed a bit.

"Sure thing love." Luffy said while the book vanished from Robin's hand and reappeared in Monte-d'Ors.
