AN:

Thank you to everyone reviewing, I enjoy reading them good and bad. I believe it is good practice to address some of them so I shall try for a few of them each chapter. I will not post the entire review just the reviewer and which chapter and my notes

tscchope chapter 1 . Sep 30 : I was never a big fan of Buffy so I'm probably going to stay away from that universe.

frankieu chapter 2 . Oct 1: From my knowledge of mythology and from the Xena show I would describe the Olympian gods as petty, vindictive but down to PAARTAAY!

Enterprize 1304a chapter 1 . Oct 1: Yup, will have a starships when he gets to SG1.

shypunk chapter 2 . Oct 1: Mostly everyday dude is what I was going for.

Guest chapter 2 . Oct 1: If you don't like the fic so far you are probably not going to like it later. Good choice on not wasting your time.

xata123 chapter 2 . Oct 3: Good point on NZT I'll have to shoehorn that one in somehow. Also I liked the movie Limitless and Cooper in it. I am not familiar with charmed universe so very unlikely will make an appearance.

frankieu chapter 3 . Oct 5: Yup gotta set up resources for future plans. Darrow can't just magic his way to everything…or can he? Tum, Tum Tum! Also yes I couldn't help but write the Die Hard piece in.

kirosyamcha chapter 3 . Oct 5: Ambrosia is the easiest way I could think of to get Darrow not to be a squishy mortal anymore + magic.

ImaginativeFury chapter 3 . Oct 8: Unfortunately HP universe is the best place to go and learn what is more or less magical telepathy and master the mind. Occlumency allows you even to create fake memories and prevent psychic attacks, shut down and mess with your own emotions and bunch of other stuff. Either way even if it doesn't it will in this fic. Generic D&D universe or Elder Scroll series wouldn't work at all. Darrow can't access those realities. The in story explanation is sciency mumbo jumbo and Darrow's primitive mind cannot comprehend those as real so therefore ARTY cannot access them. The out of story explanation is quite obvious that I want to keep it to a few relatively popular fandoms hence only going for the Cinematic history of Earth, I don't want it to get too complicated yet it's why I'm staying away from Anime as well.

Thank you all for you input it is appreciated and please don't be surprised if I 'steal' some of your suggestions.

Story inspired heavily by 'Cruel To be Kind', '12 Steps To Omnipotence', 'Rise of an Empire' and a million and one other fanfics. If you see stuff and think that it's similar to another fanfic. it's probably because we read the same story and I liked that plot line or idea.

BEWARE this is a 'Gary Stu, wish fulfillment, power fantasy type story.

Thank you for reading!

Enjoy

Chapter 4

Year 2, Day 36: Harry Potter Universe, New York, October 1990

In a few minutes I will be going to buy my first wand from 'McKinnon Wands' the premier wand shop in New York's magic district. I was at a small café in said magic district finishing up a sausage & egg breakfast sandwich and a cup of Joe.

I was a bit anxious.

I've been here for over a month trying to set up as much of the necessary ground work as I can. The show's adventures start in a little less than a year and I plan on being there.

That's right! I'm going to Hogwarts BABY!

It's why here my primary identities will be Michael Miercuri 43 year old father to currently 10 year old Darrow Miercuri. Thank you shape-shifting powers.

Mother deceased of course, a piano accident, very tragic. And that's all we'll say about that.

Childhood dream list checkmark!

But really? Hogwarts? You are a grown ass man how are you going to stand to be around 11 year olds?

First of all I'm young at heart. Second of all YES a very VALID concern. It's not going to be easy I'm sure it will get super annoying but I'm willing to put up with it. This reality, which I tried to get as close to the movies as I possibly could, has very developed magical societies and a teaching system that I am familiar with.

There's extensive and readily available knowledge to access, I've already bought the course books to all of the Ilvermory curriculum. I've only started reading the first year textbook, the rest are stored in ARTY's control room.

So far no issues with performing the spells even without a wand. I used my finger a few times to mimic the motions just to try it out and it worked. It's a lot easier to use spells compared purely to willing it to make it happen but I'll get to that later.

There's also the wide variety of potions, magical artifacts, animals, plants, creatures and tons of other things that could be useful. The 90s are also starting so the internet is slowly spreading making things a bit easier to research, including researching plans for my business empires in the resource universes.

More importantly for me is that this is the only reality I am familiar with where I can learn the mind arts known as Occlumency and Legilimency, magical telepathy.

It should be super useful with my powers and I'm hoping it will let me defend against telepaths and mind attacks.

Imagine I roam the multi-verse gathering unspeakable power only to fall under the mind control of some two-bit telepath in the MCU or DCU. That would suck. Gotta protect the mind.

Plus I may be able to groom some minions in the process. Magical minions of course. Nothing like shared adventure to build loyalty especially if it's adventure of the dangerous kind.

Realistically if I only manage to become a decent Occlumens and Legilimens it will be a win for me.

I swallowed the last bit of my sandwich and sipped the rest of the coffee. It was time, no more putting this off.

Even though it seemed my magic was compatible for spells here I wasn't sure if I would actually be able to use a wand. Would it work with my God magic? Was there a difference?

At first I wanted to wait until I went to Hogwarts and go to Ollivanders however I realized I couldn't have both father and son use the same wand, Ollivanders would recognize it. He recognizes all the wands he has ever sold. I also wanted to see if I would get the same type of wand in both shops.

As I approached the shop I saw the large 'McKinnon's Wands' shop sign in the 19 century cursive style that was all so prevalent back then. The shop had large windows more akin to the modern stores with even mannequins on display in stylish clothing holding wands in action poses. It was quite obvious that this was a shop for the 'modern wizard' you could get all of your wand and fashion accessories in on smooth stop.

"Hi there! Welcome to McKinnon's!" the young lady shop assistant greeted me. "How can I help you today?"

"Hi!" I respond pasting a generous smile on my face. I wasn't faking it or anything like that, her long brown hair curling at the shoulders, heart shaped face and button nose made her very pleasing to the eyes. Her body wasn't bad either, only a smidgen thick around the thighs. Ok so I've definitely stared too long…it's been a while.

"I'm looking for a new wand. Had a little bit of a riding accident and unfortunately it snapped upon landing." I say making sure to scrunch my face as I finished the sentence. I was going for the vague and don't ask me any further questions because it hurts reason.

"I'm very sorry to hear that and I'm glad to see that you're up and about. You've come to the right place we can outfit you with a new wand no problem!" That a girl straight to business. Good customer service.

"If you'll follow me I'll just need to take some measurements." she says and starts walking to the counter.

"Sure thing." I respond and as we are walking curiosity wins. "I hope I'm not being rude but you seem to be a bit young to be a master wand-maker?" I say trailing off the words as a question.

"She's not a master yet. Only an apprentice!" a voice answers making us both turn to the left. From the back doorway a 60 year old woman in overalls stained with paint marks. I say 60 but with the wonky way that wizards age she could be 90. From what I've been able to gather most wizards usually live about twice as long as the average non wizard, somewhere between 160 and 210.

"My apologies." I say nonspecifically to the room at large. "And you are?"

"Mrs. McKinnon, Martha, master wand-maker" she paused for a small moment giving me a look over "and widow, at your service." She finished with a wink.

Wait what? No she did not just say that.

"Pleased to meet you. I'm Michael. Miercuri but please call me Michael."

"Please to meet you too Michael. That one over there rolling her eyes is my daughter and apprentice Mary. She's 24 and single" she finished stressing the word single.

"MOM!" Mary yelped with a blush forming on her face. "We talked about this! You can't just…!"

"Alright! alright! I get it!" Martha interrupted the oncoming rant of her daughter.

"Michael, she'll take good care of you and get you good match if not we can always go custom. Now excuse me I have some painting and enchanting to do." She said as she slipped out of sight in the back room. "Call me if you need me!"

"Yes don't worry!" Mary replied sharply.

"Sorry about that! My mom is very"

"Charming" I say with a big smile.

"Sure lets go with that." She said as she took out a measuring tape and her wand.

"So, you are taking over the family business?" I asked as she was going through the motions and casting some sort of spells on me.

"Yea, I kind of have to. My younger brother has no talent at it, great at arythmancy and enchanting but terrible at wand making, even worse at matching people." Her eyes were closed now and her wand was glowing green hovering around my chest.

"Ok I think I got it." she said and went to gather a few boxes that are on display on the shelf behind the counter.

"Come on lets go give it a try." She points to the dummy in the cleared area on the opposite wall from where her mother appeared.

"Aspen, unicorn hair core, 13 inches." She says as she hands me the white colored wand.

The moment I touch it I feel an electric shock running from the bottom of my spine through my wand hand.

"Oh!" I say reflexively.

"I see it likes you. Come one give it a swing. Shoot a stunner or some lights at the dummy see how it feels in your hand." Mary encourages me.

I visualize some red sparks and before I even have a chance to flick my wrist I feel a surge of energy travel through my arm as if it's being sucked by the wand and a red light shoots from the tip hitting the dummy squarely in the chest.

"So how does it feel? You think this is the one?"

I stare at it and put it down on the table. "I'm not sure."

"Well then try this one. Maple, dragon heart string, 11 inches."

If before it was a shock this time it was an avalanche of warmth spreading throughout my body. I felt the wand become a part of me, an extension of my magic. A flick of the wrist and a water whip with the head of a dragon jetted out to encircle the dummy in its grasp.

This was the one I knew it.

"By your expression I guess this is the one?" she asks playfully, clearly impressed by my water dragon.

"I think you are correct. I would like to try the last one just in case."

"Sure, here you go. Ebony, unicorn hair, 9 inches."

I picked it up and felt a distinct buzz in my chest. I visualize the red sparks and after a few seconds of concentration they shoot out into the dummy. Usable but not exciting. I made my choice.

"I think I'll take the first two." I say handing her the wand back.

"Both? Are you sure? It's not exactly cheap. The Maple is 400 and the Aspen is 600 dragots."

"You're not a very good salesman are you? Isn't it your job to make sure I spend all my money in your store?" I playfully respond. Ok so I'm trying to charm her.

"Well if you insist then how about I show you some accessories." She says inching a bit closer, big eyes staring up at me. I'm a head and a half taller than her; she's really close to my chest now.

"Oh, and what kind of accessories?" I see her giving me a frilly pouty look as if she's thinking about.

"You know, the usual, wand holsters, cleaning solutions and maybe" here she stops for a moment "some polishing techniques." A little smirk curling up on her plump lips.

Holy shit! The apple does not fall far from the tree!

It's good to be a God.

Year 2, Day 62: Harry Potter Universe, London, October 1990

Playing with my wand for the past month was entertaining. Taking Mary out on a few dates and practicing some wand polishing techniques was even more delightful.

I have been buying all the books on magic that I can. Reading everything I can. I already read through the first year Charms and Potions curriculum from Ilvermorny. Truthfully it's been a very disorganized process. I'm jumping from topic to topic, book to book. I've notice that I am able to read, comprehend and remember at least twice as well compared to mortal me. It's either the Godhood or the fact that I'm genuinely interested in what I'm reading. I tried looking for books on the mind arts and that was a bit of a bust.

I don't know if it was the environment, the wand or maybe just the fact that the spells were structured but it was a lot easier for me to cast magic here. I didn't actually need a wand to perform magic but if I wanted to blend in the magical societies here or attend Hogwarts I would need one.

Also I was starting to see the appeal of a wand. A crutch for sure. Wandless magic screamed power and experience and not many wizards could do it. I theorized that after years of being taught to use a wand it would be pretty hard to visualize your magic any other way. I would have to be careful of that but even then there was just something stylish about using a wand. It was cultured, like a pen or a brush in your hand a swish of your wrist and you left your mark on the canvas of reality.

Time was ticking and I had a lot of matter to settle which is why I was now in Diagon Alley heading towards Gringotts bank. Diagon Alley was a lot more dense and busy than the New York Magic district. Which made sense the community was older and from what I understood from the various books and I skimmed through for information the British Isle has one of the densest and highest wizarding population in the world. I estimate around one hundred thousand wizards to live throughout the isles.

I had already bought a townhouse in the heart of 'muggle' London which would close in about four weeks. I wanted a non magical presence for research purposes. Electronics don't exactly work in the wizard world. I was staying at the Waldorf hotel in the meantime.

Swanky I know but why the hell not.

I had already gone through this process with the wizard bank the States, to buy things in the wizarding world you needed their currency and for that I had deal with the goblins. I planned on a lot of shopping. Books, potions, enchanted objects anything I found interesting and most of all house elves.

I already put out the word in the States with my account manager if he came across any information to let me know. For some reason they were pretty hard to come by in the US and I was hoping to have more luck in Europe.

Those little buggers could be so very useful. Brue Wayne has Alfred I want my little house elf majordomo. I was going to buy as many as I could get my hands on. Loyal magical servants bonded to you, HELL YEA! Sign me up!

I also needed a house, a magical house that is with all the appropriate wards for protection, just in case. It would make it easier to practice magic so I wouldn't have to I needed to establish a foot print here and more so I needed to pass myself as an eccentric American wizard. A filthy rich one of course.

You see you I can't just show up as 11 year old Darrow Miercuri and expect to simply walk into Hogwarts as a student. I wasn't born in Britain so my name was not going to appear on the book of admittance. I would have to transfer in. There must be a process for it I'm sure at some point some wizards moved with their kids to Britain and sent them to Hogwarts.

This was plan A and I was going to try to grease some palms to help the process along. Plus it's always good to have a corrupt official or two in your pocket.

If this didn't work then plan B was to simply self-study, try to get some tutors, I'd be missing out on all the knowledge of Hogwarts extensive library but eh what can you do. I wasn't ready to simply raid the place. Hmm maybe I could eliminate Lockhart and take his place in second year. He wasn't exactly a great teacher so I'm sure I could coast it.

Either way I needed money for the crap I was going to buy.

Scene Break

"The currency shouldn't be a problem we can set up the transfers with your muggle bank in the US. Since it is a large amount it will have to go through the usual approval process and it will take a few days. And how much gold are you thinking of converting Mr. Miercuri?"

Largnack was the name of the account manager I was talking to. It took some rather forceful insistence on my part with the front desk teller to set me up in a private meeting with an account manager. When you are a nobody they treat you like a nobody.

Largnack seemed quite annoyed to talk to me at first, I'm sure he pegged me as another self-absorbed wizard whose meager 100 galleons savings deserve only the best attention.

His curiosity was peaked once I took out a million US dollars in hard currency from my bigger on the inside than outside bag and put it on his desk but his attitude seemed to really change when I told him there was another 29 million that I wanted transferred and converted. He even started to take notes as we talked the details.

"Five tons."

The ugly little creature froze for a moment. He set his quill down and looked at me.

"Mr. Miercuri" he started, barely containing the snark in his voice. "You are aware if it is determined that the gold was acquired through illicit means from either muggle or wizarding sources the consequences will be dire for you and anyone involved in said actions. It will be the Dementor's Kiss. The Ministry and Gringotts" here he stressed the bank's name "take these cases very seriously."

It makes sense the goblins wouldn't care about the currency but bring up gold and their greedy little hearts would not let them be swindled with fake or stolen gold. It's no matter I was prepared for this.

"Of course! You may do all the verification you want. As assurance I will be putting the full thirty million amount as collateral while the bank performs its due diligence."

The goblin took a moment to consider things.

"I believe that will do. Considering the large amount I will have to get approval from higher up before proceeding. It should take no more than two business days. Should I contact you at the Waldorf hotel?"

"Yes. Which brings me to my next topic. Staying at the Waldorf is nice and all but as you can imagine it is very restrictive. I am looking to purchase some magical accommodations, something in the country side and as I am new to the country I don't have any contacts and I am unsure who to trust. Would you have any recommendations for reliable real-estate agents and someone who deals in magical creatures?"

He frowned for a moment. "May I ask why magical creatures?"

"I'm looking to purchase house elves. I will be busy quite a bit and will need all the help I can get."

"Ah, yes of course. House elves are fairly hard to come by nowadays. They've fallen out of fashion, most are in the hands of the old families. I don't know anyone personally but I will inquire with my colleagues."

"As for the agents I've done business with Barden & Willis real-estate in the past and they've proven knowledgeable and reliable. I will get you the details on the way out. Anything else for today Mr. Miercuri?"

"Yes actually." I paused. "One more matter."

"You see I have a son, he is ten years old and about to start his magical education and he would very much like to attend Hogwarts. I will be starting the enrolment process soon but being foreign I do not know the ins and outs of the system. I was wondering if you Gringotts can provide any services or advice in dealing with ministry officials." I paused slightly. "To smooth out any hiccups."

Largnack said nothing for a moment and I started to think I may have overplayed my had. Then he closed his notebook with a loud 'THUMP'.

"Officially Gringotts does not provide any such service nor advice." He said straight faced and paused letting silence filled the void between us, his eyes looking at me. He was waiting for me to make my move.

"And unofficially?"

A ferocious grin spread on the creature's face. I said the right words. This wasn't bank business anymore. This was just between the two of us.

"Certain consultations and introductions can be provided.." He stopped for a moment. "for the right incentives of course."

"Of course." I agree with a small smile.

Scene Break

Year 2, Day 93: Harry Potter Universe, London, November 1990

"So what do you want?" the gruff voice of the barback pulling my attention from the papers I was reviewing, updates on my business across the multiverse.

"Why, I'm just enjoying a drink and a meal while doing some work." I respond.

"Cut the crap." The man said as he took a seat across from me at my table. "The beer is piss and the food is worse."

"Now you've come in here three days in a row in your fancy muggle get up from nine to an hour past midnight ordering the same crap each time and tipping more than most make in a day's work."

"So Yankee, I'm going to ask you one more time. What the fuck do you want?"

It's true. I've been lurking at Fisher's tavern in Knockturn Alley in my very expensive business suit for the last two days. Fisher's was the place to go if you needed something or someone. To say that I've been standing out is a fucking understatement. It's more like I was a light house in the darkest night of the year. I was basically screaming come talk to me. Which is what I wanted in the first place.

I wasn't worried about my reputation in polite society or anything like that. I was going with the American wizard who made his money in the muggle world look so I could always plead ignorance. I was a foreign noveau rich who didn't know any better. I also didn't really give a fuck.

"Very well." I said putting my papers down and looking at the man, Butcher was his name.

"I'm looking to hire some help." I said. "Help of the fast, strong and furry type."

"And why would you need that?" he asked

"In my business dealings I find that a bit posturing and theatrics goes a long way. They wouldn't be involved in anything too dangerous of course. I need someone with a good head on their shoulders, someone who can stop and think someone who can blend in with the muggles."

He didn't say anything just looked at me brows furrowed in concentration. So I decided to continue.

"They will be handsomely rewarded, more than enough to afford the necessary treatment to keep their affliction in check. As well a finder's fee is appropriate for whoever can put me in touch with said personnel." I take out of pouch from the inner pocket of my suit jacket and put it on the table.

He takes it, opens it and I see his eyes widen. There's 200 galleons in there. What can I say I'm a big spender. I netted out around eleven million from dealing with Gringotts. I had a veritable war chest at my disposal.

"That's half. The other half will come when the right person is found."

He looks at me and I can see his thoughts on his face. Trying to figure out what I was trying to play at. Eventually the money wins him over.

"Come back in a week. Same time."

Hell yea! I'm getting a pet wolf.

Scene Break

Year 2, Day 117: Harry Potter Universe, London, Christmas Eve, December 1990

I miss my family. I miss my friends. I miss Jake the Motherfucking Pug.

Year 2, Day 148: Harry Potter Universe, January 1991

"So you want me to babysit your kid? Is that it?" Mr. Lemington asked. Nicholas Lemington was the third candidate that Butcher found for me and I think this might be the one.

The last two he brought I didn't get the right vibe from them. They were a bit too on edge a bit too upset with the world. Lemington seemed more easy going not as upset with the world plus he had a full Hogwarts education and from his dress I could tell he moved around in the muggle world as well.

At 38 years old he lived with his sister, work was hard to come by for a registered werewolf. This was a good thing from my point of view, having family that cared for you and you cared for them meant that you weren't going to go around doing too many stupid things, like joining Fenrir Greyback's gang. The man was 'infected' at 25 in an altercation while camping in the wrong area. It's been a downhill trajectory since then. Too much prejudice in the wizard world.

"In some ways yes. I was thinking more like bodyguard. You will find that Darrow is fiercely independent and more than capable to take care of himself however he is still a child by all the laws of the land.

My son will be in school for most of the year so during that time you will be working on a few projects for me both magical and muggle in nature." I respond.

"You have muggle documentation up to date." I continued.

He nodded.

"Yea, I had to, it's easier to find work there." With so much prejudice against them it seemed a lot of wolfs were pushed to the muggle world in order to make ends meet. Usually shit jobs but hey you do what you got do.

"What kind of projects?"

"A variety, checking on some properties and businesses, doing a lot of shopping, searching for different items or books sometimes people if necessary." At the last one he instinctually backed away a bit. "I don't plan on making you off anyone if that's what you're worried about."

"Truthfully, you'll spend most of your time on standby on retainer if you will. Summer times when my son is off will be when you are required to be present for 'duty' most days so to speak. Unfortunately I will be unavailable most of the time during the year certain matters will require my full attention. Having someone of your affliction will deter many who would want to bother my Darrow while he is out and about."

He took a few seconds to consider it and asked the question I've been waiting.

"And how much will you pay for me to be your errand boy?" Smart man, knows exactly what I want of him. I gave the incentive of 50 galleons just to take the meeting to all the people I interviewed so they knew I was a big spender.

"5000 galleons a year paid monthly to your account, renegotiable each year with a sign on bonus of 10% half paid on contract sign on and half paid after 6 months. Assuming you stay." His eyes went wide with shock. From what I've been able to gather a good salary was around 3000 galleons per year. This was almost double more than enough to afford the wolfsbane potion each month.

"I'll need a few days to think about it."

Bullshit! I know I have him.

"Of course, take your time."

Scene Break

Year 2, Day 210: Harry Potter Universe, March 1991

"Almost done Michael." The lead warding wizard said. "I have to say again your stamina is incredible. Eight hours of work done in two and half. It's bonkers."

Archibald Stonewall the lead wizard on the warding team I hired was referring to the powering of the wards for my house.

It took a while to find a good property, a proper mansion 5 bedrooms, obviously a lot bigger on the inside than outside and then it took even more time to do all the renovations I wanted including top of the line wards.

It all cost me a pretty penny too. Over seven hundred thousand galleons but it came with a good chunk of land including a small batch of forest.

Anyway I was standing in the bowls of my home in the ward-stone room in the center of the room with my hand on the seven sided giant green ward stone held up by a pillar of stone about weight height concentrated on pumping my magical energy into the thing.

All around me runes were carved in concentric geometric forms and circles and five wizards waving their wands and running their hands in all manners of squiggly patterns to guide the magic and power the runes. It honestly looked like some Full Metal Alchemist shit.

Since I was an Olympian god I knew I was a cut above most wizards in terms of raw energy, after all they were merely mortal. Archybald told me this would usually take the whole day and sometimes even two days. Normal wizards would only be able to power the stone a few minutes at a time then have to rest and go again.

I was pretty much powering through it. Even when I was feeling fatigued my recovery time was much faster than a normal wizards it wasn't even a fair comparison.

It also reassured me that my training was working. I've been practicing my TK whenever I get the chance and my super-speed. I don't have much problems anymore in entering super-speed as much as I have in regulating my perception.

What I did work mostly on was charms. Spells were getting easy. I've pretty much crushed first and second year charms curriculum and even started on potions. Nothing on runes and arythmancy yet and looking around me I wasn't particularity thrilled. It looked like a lot of work, very boring and tedious work not only to learn it but to power the dam things.

It hasn't been all magic practice I had biweekly check-ins with my businesses across the resource universes. Being in their infancy my chosen leaders needed a lot of guidance and even with future knowledge available there was a lot of research involved. And of course tons of reports to review, decisions to make. The companies were all bleeding money and that's ok it's what the plan was anyway for the first five to eight years.

I needed a secretary or a dam house elf to help me keep my schedule. No luck on that side yet but there were people working on it.

The registration for me to go to Hogwarts as Darrow was complete. I dined and wined a few different fairly low level ministry officials to help with the process along. They were in the pocket of other folks higher up on the ladder but I was still a gaudy rich nobody American so it wouldn't be proper to be seen cajoling with me.

That was ok with me, I didn't particularly feel like sucking up to some old pureblood in any case. Largnack also pointed my in the direction of other interesting people all for a generous consultant fee of course. Me and him were getting along splendidly and I had a feeling that as long as I had gold the relationship would continue. A ok on my part. I knew what motivated him and that worked for me.

It wasn't anyone to terribly important a mid level potion's master in the 'Three Cauldron's' guild, a beast-master working, a few folks working in various charities, some in the enchanting trades things like that. What was important for me was that I was making connections that could be tapped if I needed, for them it was my gold a donation here, a small investment there, a little loan where needed would make people a lot more pliable in the future.

I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding and sighed. I was feeling a bit ragged a lot of running and teleporting around meeting people.

Darrow had to make an appearance to prove he was a wizard which I managed to arrange with Mr. Lemington. I was suddenly called on very important business. A quick blood test confirmed the magic and just to fuck with the ministry employee I lifted all the objects on his desk with telekinesis and let them crash all over his office.

"Sorry I got too excited about going to Hogwarts" accidental magic of course. Nick suspiciously eyed 10 year old me the whole time but didn't say anything. The money was too good for him to fuck it up.

Money, the solver of problems the bender of wills.

Suddenly the stone glowed green and the runes all around me started pulsing with white light. I also felt the pull on my energy stop.

"Ok and it's done!" Archibald said. "We'll do a few test and then we can close out the deal."

"Wonderful! Thank you for all the hard work." Good manners cost nothing and being on good terms with a warding expert is sure to come in handy.

In a few months, dream come true, Hogwarts!
