AN: Hey everybody! The poll finished and the winner was Mirko! However Momo was neck and neck the entire time and was only two votes or so behind at the end. I'd thought of a good idea for each that way I'd be set no matter who won but now I'd feel sad if one got dropped which is why BOTH are being posted in this cycle. Also, this is going to be the last update for a couple weeks. My computer is dying a painful death (this is actually being posted from a borrowed computer). I've ordered a new one but it hasn't gotten in yet. I'll get back to writing once it comes in.

AN2: I've been wanting to do something with Chimera (or Chojuro Kon) since he showed up for his movie debut. I got the idea for him being Izuku's dad as Izuku's dad can breath fire and so can Chimera (admittedly amongst other things). So in this, he's Izuku's dad, more history will be revealed to the story as it progresses, gotta keep you lot interested after all XD

Heir of a Monster

Chapter 1

-Izuku-

"Mom, I'm home!" Izuku called as he opened the door to his apartment, drained after yet another day of a crappy middle school with Bakugo as a classmate.

"Are Rumi and Inasa with you?" she called back from the kitchen as he entered, glancing over his shoulders at the only two friends he had in the world.

"…Yeah, the idiots are here too!" he nodded as Inasa just laughed it off and Rumi gave him the bird, "But can you get an ice pack? Rumi got in a fight…again."

"Really young lady?" Izuku's mom let out a frustrated sigh as she entered the living room, a towel full of ice already being ready a clear indicator of how often Rumi came here banged up, "Must you get in so many fights?"

"Baka-go was insulting Izuku again while the teachers did nothing." Rumi smirked smugly "You made him agree not to pound the little blonde twerp into paste but I made no such promise!"

"I suppose I should just be grateful that Inasa doesn't go to school with you two." His mom let out a sigh as she handed Rumi the ice pack, knowing the bunny hero in training well enough to know that she wouldn't accept anything less than doing it herself.

"Probably." The passionate giant nodded, "That Bakugo person sounds most unpassionate. Like an unholy fusion of Endeavor with a Pomeranian."

Shaking her head, Izuku's mom gave them all soft smiles "I'm guessing your families' approved of you two spending the night here before the UA entrance exam tomorrow?"

"Damn straight!" Rumi grinned, jerking a thumb at her chest even as she held the ice pack over her forming bruise "You're looking at UA's next big three! The future number one heroine and her two lackeys!"

"Young lady," the tone Izuku's mom took was spine chilling as Rumi gulped nervously "language."

"Yes Ma'am!" the rabbit hero to be squeaked.

"Wonderful!" and just like that, Izuku's mom went from 'about to murder you' to 'happy housewife' in the blink of an eye, "I'm making plenty of Katsudon tonight and I'll drive you all to UA tomorrow morning."

"Thanks mom." Izuku smiled as he hugged her tight, silently wishing there was one more person around to say those words as well.

"You three go get any homework you have done." Izuku's mom returned the hug with a smile before shooing them off, "I'll call you when dinner's ready."

Once in his room, Izuku's friends took a look at the wall that was dedicated to the tracking of one man, "Any progress?" Rumi asked him with a frown as they stared at the picture in the center, of one Chojuro Kon, Izuku's father and now the wanted Super Villain known as Chimera.

"Yes, and it's not good." Izuku grunted with a scowl, tapping one of the newer images "He's joined up with another villain, this one apparently having full atmospheric control. Rain, lightning, tornadoes, anything related to weather he can do. The guy he joined isn't known by name but people think he might be the son of one of the top members of the Meta Liberation Army, the son of Destro's right hand."

"Daaaaamn." Rumi winced, well aware of his determination to find his dad, to bring the man back "Well, at least this gives me someone to fight when you're stopping your dad."

"What about me?!" Inasa protested "He has wind powers, so I'd be the best to fight him!"

"And leave me out of a fight? Not a chance." Rumi scoffed, "This is the one time I won't mind a team up so I have to fight with the green bean."

"Girls, girls, you're both pretty." Izuku rolled his eyes at his friends as he rummaged through his bag.

"Thank you!" Inasa laughed happily while Rumi's silent was already done and gone by the time he turned around.

"Come on, I don't trust that asshole of a homeroom teacher to not try and screw over our chances at getting into UA if we miss even a single assignment." Izuku grunted as he started on his math assignments, his friends getting their own books out with a groan. They'd become heroes, none of them would accept anything less.

-Re-Destro-

Reclining in his chair, Rikiya sipped at a coffee as he waiting for his company, his mood good at what today would represent. "You called for us?" the apathetic voice of Nine called out, the man exiting the elevator alongside his team, the best medical apparatus money could buy on him to try and slow down the cellular decay till a more permanent solution could be found.

"Yes, I thought I'd offer your newest team member a little present." Rikiya pressed a button on a remote as one of his spy cameras in UA displayed a video feed on a large screen "That's your son, is it not 'Chimera'?"

"Izuku." The massive mutant quirk user froze for a moment, the man's cigar actually falling out of his fangs upon seeing the green haired boy flanked by two other metahumans.

"He doesn't really look like you." Slice frowned as she looked between Chimera and the video of his son.

"That's because his quirk is a transformation." Chimera smirked proudly, a father before a 'villain'. A notion that Rikiya could admittedly respect, "He can't take an advanced form like I can though, at least not yet."

"Alright you cool dudes and dudettes!" Present Mic happily called out as the room as full of potential students, all of them the best Japan had to offer in terms of young meta human quirk users "Are you ready to take this test?! Let me hear you say YEAH!"

"YEAH!" the two people flanking Chimera's son stood up and shouted, fists skyward while the young Izuku himself face palmed in exasperation at their antics.

"How dare you!" an energetic boy with blue hair and glasses shouted indignantly, chopping the air like a robot, "This is a prestigious exam! If you aren't going to take this seriously then leave this instant!"

"Shut…up." Izuku's voice was dark and ominous as green flames passed out of his mouth, "Present Mic himself asked for a shoutout. He asked, they answered." The rabbit eared girl beside Izuku was smirking at the confrontation while the giant was trying to calm the boy down "If anyone's not taking this seriously it's you, so shut it."

"Um…let's take this down a couple notches listeners!" Present Mic gulped nervously "There's still plenty of time to burn off that energy in the practical later. First though, you have to take the written test." Seeing the two friends of Chimera's son groan and actually dent their desks when they slammed their heads down more than made watching this warranted.

"Like I said, a gift." Rikiya tossed them the remote while he got up "I'll be getting myself something to eat, I don't much feel like watching a written test. But I'll be back for the practical. For now, enjoy yourself Chimera."

AN: Sorry for the short first chapter, but computer situation and limited stuff for a set up. Things will improve next chapter onward once I get a new laptop. Next chapter will actually show Izuku's transformation as well so you'll get to see the differences between his form and Chimera's.
