In the 1-A dorms of UA Heights Alliance, the common room is empty save for the presence of Izuku Midoriya and Mina Ashido.

Izuku is content sitting at the coffee table, rigorously scribbling notes into a small coffee table. Mina on the other hand is lounging on the sofa, bored out of her mind.

However, a mischievous smirk begins to form in the corner of her mouth. She then looks over to the teen opposite her.

Mina: Hey, Midoriya? Wanna play a game?

Izuku looks up from his notebook and smiles innocently at her.

Izuku: W-what kind of game?

Mina gets up from the sofa, now standing over Izuku.

Mina: It's simple! I ask you a bunch of questions and you can only answer with the word hot, okay? If you say anything else you lose? Got it?

Izuku hesitantly puts his notebook aside.

Izuku: I don't know Ashido. It doesn't sound like it'll be fun…

She looks at him, her eyes pleading.

Mina: Come on, it'll be so much fun! I promise!

Izuku relents and nods.

Izuku: W-well okay…

Mina claps her hands together.

Mina: Okay! So, whenever you have soup, it's better to have it?

Izuku looks at her in confusion.

Izuku: Hot? B-but what about gespatcho? I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be-

Mina holds up a finger to interrupt him.

Mina: Ah, ah, ah… That's not the point Midoriya, just play along will ya?

He rubs the back of his head nervously.

Izuku: R-right… Sorry.

Mina leans in towards Izuku.

Mina: Todoroki's Quirk is Half-Cold, Half-?

Izuku: Hot.

She leans in closer.

Mina: If the sun's out and everyone's in shorts and t-shirts, the weather is?

Izuku: Hot.

She leans in even closer, smirking slightly.

Mina: How do I look right now?

Unfazed, Izuku answers with a nonchalant expression.

Izuku: You look cute Ashido.

Taken aback, Mina stares at him as her face becomes flush with colour.

Izuku notices and reaches out to Mina in concern.

Izuku: A-Ashido? I-Is something wrong? I-?

Finally realising, Izuku too blushes, becoming redder than a tomato.

Izuku: Aahh! I said the wrong thing I- I- you-…

He then breaks out into timid laughter, causing Mina to join him.

Izuku: I guess this means I lost the game then, r-right?

Mina smiles at him.

Mina: Nope… You won this time.

I came up with this idea last night and decided to write a short story about it.
