Chapter 73 Plans Revealed
Outside of the Observatory, they find Moon Stones on the ground.
Emily: It's a Moon Stone!
Crolea: Moon Stones are lovely. Some people believe they come from the moon, and that's why they're called Moon Stones.
Lillie: Do you think it's true?
Crolea: I'm not sure. But they do look a lot like the moon's landscape, and they evolve some Pokemon thought to come from space, like Clefairy. I don't think that's a coincidence.
Ash: I don't think so either. I wonder if Agne would know more about them?
Crolea: Agne probably would. Maybe one day we'll be able to go to the moon to see for ourselves. So, does anyone want this Moon Stone?
Just then, they hear a sound and Ash is very familiar with the voice.
Gladion: A Cosmog?
Just then, the Cosmog touches the Moon Stone, and it becomes a Lunala in an instant.
Crolea: That Pokemon...that's Lunala! I've never seen one before!

Emily: I've heard of Lunala, there are Legends about it in the Alola region!
Ash: Though normally, Cosmog would have to evolve into Cosmoem before evolving into Sogaleo or Lunala...
Crolea: Maybe the combined energy of the Moon Stone and the Moon Shrine enabled it to fully evolve?

Crolea: My theory is that Team Portal wants to use Hoopa's Hyperspace powers to transport themselves into the Data Vault. Ash, Lillie, remember when I said the Dyserean Desert has felt anxious ever since I met Team Portal? I think my theory would explain that, too. That's where Hoopa's lair is. Hoopa sometimes comes down to where my mom works and plays with us, so I've seen it before. That also explains why they're called Team Portal...now that I've connected the dots, it seems so obvious.
Gladion: That's a well-thought-out theory. I think you're right.
Lillie: So Ash, you said that you have met Hoopa, and he stole your donuts?
Ash: (Sighs) Well, we met Hoopa in Dahara City, which is in the Kalos Region.
Crolea: (Mutters) Wait, Dahara City? Then the Hoopa must be the same...
Ash: (Turns to Crolea) Did you say anything?
Crolea: Nothing. Please continue.
Ash: To tell the truth, at that time, we shouldn't have touched Prison Bottle. As those who hold it will be possessed by Hoopa. When we were there, Hoopa's Unbound Form destroyed the Prison Bottle and goes on a rampage in the city.
Emily: Wait, you mean...the Prison Bottle was destroyed?

Lillie: That sounds horrible...six Legendary Pokemon?
Ash: It is horrible, but we try to have Lugia, Latias, Latios, and Rayquaza to counter them. Trust me, I have never seen three Legendary Pokemon Mega Evolve in front of my eyes.
Crolea: (Interested in the story) What happened next?
Ash: When the bottle is finished, we put the evil spirit back, and somehow the bottle lands in my hand, thus I was possessed.
Lillie: (Horrified) What? You were possessed?
Ash: It was not a great experience, but Hoopa manages to free me by cleaning the evil spirit.
Emily: So that is the ending, I suppose?
Ash: (Shakes his head) When Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina appear and battling, it causes a time-space distortion, and everything started to collapse, we have to evacuate the others, but Hoopa couldn't go through his rings.
Crolea: I think I have heard that Hoopa couldn't go through the ring, but somehow it can do it in the end, why is that?
Ash: It is because of Arceus' powers. And he comes to save Hoopa from the distortion.
Crolea: I see. Thank you for telling us this story.
Gladion: Indeed, if it wasn't for what the situation is now, I wouldn't have believed this. It seems so fictional.
Ash: But it is real after all. Somehow I have met all the Pokemon in the world.

Crolea: Absolutely. If Hoopa knows what Team Portal is trying to do, it gives us a good chance of preventing their plan from happening. The fact that the desert is anxious may mean Hoopa already knows, but better safe than sorry. The Dyserean Desert is to the north of Mt. Spoon, which is where my mom's workshop/gym is. Team Portal is waiting for the panic to settle down before making another move, so I think we have plenty of time before then. So here's the plan: First, we'll see what's going on at Mt. Comet. Then, you and Ash will battle Isabelle, and then Carol to the north of here.
Ash: (Sarcasm) Isabelle and Carol...two of the supernatural trio...just great.
Crolea: After that's done, we'll head to Mt. Spoon. If there's time enough before the party, we'll go see Hoopa. Does anyone have any questions or concerns?

As for whose Lunala is this, let me tell you that the owner of the Lunala has appeared in the previous chapters, though she didn't show it to Ash and Lillie when battling her. For the next chapter, Ash, Lillie, Emily, Crolea, and even Delicia will go to Mt. Comet, as they think that there is something wrong there.
