Chapter 74 Mt. Comet
After getting inside the mountain, they can find a lot of Pokemon resting in the mountain, and the Sea Stars are also there as well.
Emily: So this is Mt. Comet. I remember hearing that this place is important to the Sea Stars. I'm guessing that's why there aren't any random objects scattered around?
Crolea: That's right. Isabelle wouldn't mess with a place like this. She'd probably have her gym leader position revoked if she did. When Peach was promoted to Elite Four, he chose Isabelle as his successor, and Ivan made it clear with her where the line was drawn. We might see some Sea Stars on the way up. Many of them try to reach the top so they can make a wish.
Then as they move along, they have also trained their Pokemon by battling with the trainers along the route, the Pokemon in the area are Aron, Lunatone, Solrock, Minior, Clefairy, Onix, Lairon, and Bagon. In the water, there are Feebas, Finneon, Lumineon, Milotic, Barboach, and Wishcash. Lillie captures a Bagon and evolves it into a Salamence, while Ash goes for Minior and Lunatone.
They also find two Solrock and two Lunatone, all of them are singing, Crolea suggests giving them Lava Cookie, and then Ash and Lillie get a Marble and a piece of Universal Fragment in the end, much to their delight.
As they reach the top of the mountain, they find a girl standing there, and it is no other than a Team Portal member, Delicia's sister, Felicia.
Crolea: You...
Delicia just hugs her sister, and the others recognize that they are siblings.
Felicia: Quinn was just calling about you, Crolea. Sorry to hear about it.
Crolea: It was worth it.
Felicia: Well, that aside, I believe this is Ash, Lillie, Gladion, and Emily's first visit to Mt. Comet? I'm not sure how much you've heard, but I'll give you a brief history lesson anyway~
As they lower their guards a little, Felicia decides to tell them a story while watching Umira from below.
Felicia: So, Sea Stars have been climbing this mountain since before humans came to Ceolis. They believe that if you get to the top, you're allowed to make a wish. Some in fact have had their wishes come true! Some haven't, though. I'm sure you've been taught the difference between wants and needs? A lot of the wishes that come true are needs, and a lot of the ones that don't are wants. Our first Rock Leader, Clifford, was the first man to reach the top of the mountain! He hasn't commented publicly on it, but I think one of the reasons he resigned was because he was tired of people making wishes to defeat him. Those wishes often didn't come true, of course~ But I can understand if he was upset that people wanted to wish their way to victory instead of earning it. I came to make a wish myself! I guess you could say it's somewhere between a want and a need. I'll move on if it doesn't happen, but it's still very important to me!"
Emily: What did you wish for?"
Felicia: (Stucked her tongue out) I think I'll keep that a secret for now~ That being said, I'd like to battle Ash and Lillie again, if that's okay!
Lillie: Sure, We'll battle you. What are the rules?"
Felicia: It'll be one vs two double battle.
Emily: Then Delicia, would you like to battle me while our siblings are battling?
Delicia nods at Emily's request, and she gives a :D face. Felicia goes for her first Pokemon, which is her Sylveon named Neapolitan and Delcatty named Vanilla. Ash goes for Arbok and Perrserker to battle. Sylveon goes for Light Screen and Misty Terrain, while Delcatty goes for Attract on Arbok, which works. Perrserker goes for Iron Head, and it deals a lot of damage to Sylveon, and with Arbok accidentally uses Glare on Perrserker when the target is Delcatty, Delcatty uses Return to knock it out.
Ash: I'm sorry, Lillie.
Lillie: It's fine, we need to snap Arbok out of it.
And after Arbok is returned to normal, it goes for Poison Tail to knock out Sylveon, and Lillie uses Golisopod's First Impression to knock out Delcatty. The third and fourth Pokemon for Felicia is Meowstic named CottonCandy and Absol named White Chocolate. Meowstic uses Fake out on Arbok, knocking it out, while Absol goes for Night Slash, and it causes Golisopod to use its ability Emergency Exit.
Ash and Lillie go for Salamence and Clefable, using Dazzling Gleam, both Pokemon are knocked out, and the final ones are Pyroar named StrawberryShortCake and Luxray named BlueMoon. Salamence uses Flamethrower to knock down the Air Balloon on Luxray, and then Pyroar uses Hyper Voice to deal a lot of damage to both of them. Clefable is defeated by Luxray's Wild Charge, so Lillie goes back to Golisopod, using Liquidation to deal a lot of damage to Pyroar and Salamence uses Fly to knock it out. But Golisopod is defeated by Thunderbolt, so Lillie has Mamoswine and uses Earthquake to defeat it.
Felicia: You know how to handle yourself in almost every format! (Recalls Delcatty) Versatility is important for a trainer, and it seems you're doing just fine in that department! Next time, though, we'll see how you hold up in the battle style I invented!
Ash: Wait, you invented a battle style?
Felicia: I sure did! I'll show you next time! Please don't spoil it for them, Crolea!
Crolea: I guess I can agree to that.
Felicia: Great! Anyway, I'm guessing you're in Umira to challenge Isabelle? All I can say is...if you thought Wonky Woods was strange, wait until you see the Crazy Citadel~
After that, Delicia and Felicia are staying at Mt. Comet, while the others are heading to Crazy Citadel.
After entering the gym, Ash and Lillie notice that the place is also messed up. Two Simulations are there as Gym Trainers.
Simulation Fire Hydrant Appraisal: Kayaking changed my grandmother's chocolate coins into autobiographies.
He goes for Sigilyph, Medicham, and Slowking to battle. Ash goes for a Ghost Type like Sableye, and it uses Shadow Sneak and Dark Pulse to knock out all three of them.
Simulation Fire Hydrant Appraisal: Last I checked there were three coffees that start with green. (Recalls Pokemon) Am I allowed to snore when I crave expensive computers?
Ash: I don't know, maybe you can?
Simulation I Can Hear Pepperoni: Mumumumu!
She uses Delphox, Exeggutor, and Slowbro to battle, and Ash goes for Raticate this time, with the biting attacks, all three Pokemon are down with ease.
Simulation I Can Hear Pepperoni: Can't really seem to get the wrong adjectives! (Recalls Pokemon) My bathtub is indestructible!
Lillie: Do we seriously need to know that?
As the two of them continue forward, they find two Meowstic with different colors.
Male Meowstic: Hello.
Ash: (Notices their odd colors) Are you two also Holiday Pokemon owned by Isabelle?
Female Meowstic: You have to finish the puzzle if you want to get forward.
Lillie: Puzzle? (Notices the giant puzzle they are stepping on and it is messed up.) How are we going to fix it? I mean, the floor is basically the puzzle...
Ash: It seems like we have two rooms to go, let's go to the left one first.
They go to the left room and find that the simulations there are male, and all the simulations are using real Pokemon.
Simulation Eyelid Betrayal: Toothpaste is cute!
He sends out Medicham and Metagross, and Ash goes for Charizard to battle both of them, as he is using the new Charizard, it has the power of the old one and defeats them with ease.

Ash: I don't know. If they really are game names, I am sure they will be very popular.
Simulation Beanbaggy: Necklace nonsense.
He sends out Girafarig and Alakazam, Ash goes for Butterfree to battle, and Butterfree uses Bug Buzz to knock out all of them.
Simulation Beanbaggy: When did your potted plant become sentient? (Recalls Pokemon) My suggestion is to protect your pancakes.
Ash: I don't have pancakes...
Simulation Is A Bell: Isabelle is a Bell.
He uses only a Bronzong, and Ash goes for Blaziken to battle, with the Blaze Kick, it defeats Bronzong with ease.
Simulation Is A Bell: Is a bell Isabelle? (Recalls Pokemon and presses a switch) A bell is a bell.
Ash: Good, we manage to finish the first puzzle...but all those simulations are a little annoying.
Lillie: There are more of them before reaching Isabelle...let's hope that we won't be that tired after facing them.
Ash and Lillie sigh at each other as they leave the left room, they also notice that the Male Meowstic is gone while the puzzle on the floor is half completed, so they decide to go to the next room.
