This little story, or big depending on how you look at it, is not something that you would expect to hear about. It is not a story of great deeds, or about a great hero. She wasn't a hero. She was a fisher from Alaska doomed to a life she never would have chosen and quest that wasn't even hers. Her adventure was entirely unexpected. Or at least, that's how the story went.

About two years after Erebor is reclaimed, a ranger finds herself heading to the City of Dale to meet someone. She ends up staying in Erebor, living among the Dwarves. But in doing so, she finds out more about herself and falls for The King Under The Mountain. PSA: Most of the Dwarves (after coming back to Erebor) grew taller. Which made it easier for the blacksmiths and miners.
