Chapter 6
Ash and Lillie are riding Cobalion as they arrive at Bolaii Beach. Ash recalls Cobalion into the Pokeball and says, "Thank you, Cobalion."
The Pokemon nods as it sucks inside the Pokeball. Then Ash and Lillie look at the beach with the sunset as they smile.
Lillie says, "The sunset of the beach never ceases to amaze me."
Ash nods, "I agree. Do you remember the time when we are forced to clean up the whole beach because of Noisy Pollution?"
Lillie sighs, "I know, but it is a good thing that they invited us to watch their show at the Lightning Longe and you did get a Galarian Moltres after that."
Ash says, "Good old memories. Speaking of Bolaii Beach, do you remember the BCC?"
Lillie nods, "Of course, BCC was owned by Team Portal until we stopped them. And right now they are doing what they are supposed to do, that is cleaning the beach."
Ash smiles as they decide to relax at the beach, but the traitors are still trying to find them.
In the Lightning Longe, Chelsea is on the stage with DJ Ultra Beats behind her as DJ. Chelsea says, "Now let's go to the song for today! We are going to sing Type Techno!"
The crowd is cheering as Ashlie and Goomba are sitting on the sofa. Goomba asks, "So that woman is the Water Type Leader of Ceolis?
Ashlie says, "You're right, and the one behind her as the DJ is the Electric Type Leader of Ceolis, DJ Ultra Beats. The songs that she is playing are very good and rocking.
"Oh, you know, Ice, Fairy, and Electric are my favorite typings, I assume that this DJ is strong?" Goomba asks.
"We can talk later, right now Chelsea is about to sing!"
Chelsea is standing in front of the microphone as she sings her song.
"If the Grass is greener on the other side, then Water we waiting for
It would Bug me to let this opportunity go to waste
And I'm not a Psychic, so I know it may not be as good as everyone says
Maybe we'll have to watch where we step on the Ground because there's Poison everywhere
Maybe everyone is as cold as Ice and they're always Fighting each other
Maybe the Electric company is incompetent and sets everything on Fire
Maybe we'll end up Flying back like we've seen a Ghost
But it's Steel only Fairy to give it a chance
And it's better than being in the Dark
Maybe, just maybe, it'll Rock
But I've been Dragon this out for a while, so I think I'm done now
I realize it's not Normal to make this many puns at once!"
The crowd cheers for the song performance, and Goomba asks, "Did she just uses puns to make a song?"
Ashlie nods, "Isn't it great? My mom had sung this song on stage, that is how she has become a member of the Smoothie."
"The Smoothie?" Goomba asks. "Are they famous?"
"They are the Battle Frontier mascots, as their nicknames are fruits. My Dad is their manager while my Mom is a part of their group. And they have their first PV on the Planet Coral."
"Planet? Are you telling me that they have been to outer space?" Goomba asks in shock.
"Of course." Ashlie says, "Want to hear more stories?"
"Sure. I would like to." Goomba nods as Ashlie starts to talk about the planets.
"There you are!" The traitors finally catch up to Ash and Lillie, who have been relaxing until they come.
"Go away, you are interrupting the beautiful sunset." Lillie says.
"No way, you have some answers that we want." Max says as Ash stands up from his spot.
"We don't have any answers for you. Who do you think you guys are? As if you can just demand me to do anything." Ash says.
Before the traitors can send out their Pokeballs, they hear a voice as it says, "Looks like you have been in trouble, huh? Ash?"
Ash turns around and sees Quinn, who is in a scuba diver suit. Ash greets the genderfluid and says, "Hey, Quinn, what are you doing here?"
"What do you think, I'm doing scuba diving." Quinn shrugs. "But who are those people and it seems like the heat is getting up."
"Who are you anyway? How dare you interrupt our conversation?" Bonnie demands.
"If you don't know, I am Quinn, and I am a former Team Portal admin." Quinn says.
"Are you a boy or a girl?" Max asks, and Quinn shrugs, "I am both, you can say that."
"So you are a freak." Misty blurts out, and it causes Quinn to take out a Pokeball and says, "What if I am? Laserdisc!"
Xe sends out a Porygon-Z and yells, "Use Psychic!"
Just then, the traitors are floating in the air, except for Serena and Chloe, who is a little terrified of what is going to happen, and then they are thrown into the ocean.
Chloe says, "That is going to be hurt..."
Ash says, "I guess you two better stay away from them from now on. The moment Quinn didn't throw you into the water means that your spy identities are exposed."
"Fine by me, I wouldn't want to be with those guys anyway." Serena shrugs. "But I assume that you are a genderfluid?"
Quinn says, "You can say so, I like scuba diving, since it helps me relax. By the way, do you want me to take you guys back to Inoset Island? It is a good thing that I have a boat with me."
"Sure." Lillie says as she turns to the girls, "You guys are staying at the Underwater Hotel, right?"
"Yeah, what about you two? Are you staying at your new home or the Underwater Hotel?"
"Well, we have our own suite on the top floor of the hotel, so we would stay there of course." Ash says.
"By the way, where is Ashlie? Isn't she with you?" Quinn asks.
"Ashlie is with her new friend Goomba, the last time I heard them they are at the Lightning Longe listening to Chelsea's music." Ash says.
"I see." Quinn says as they all get onto the boat. The traitors also come out of the water as they are angry that Serena and Chloe were taken instead of themselves. They start to take out their Flying Type Pokemon and chase after them.
The next day, it is Ash's turn to battle as he is partnered with Serena to fight against Misty and Bonnie, who have been mad at how Serena is standing besides Ash.
"So you even betrayed us, Serena?" Misty spats.
"Excuse me? I was never on your side, to begin with. You hypnotized me and Chloe to do your bidding. Now you are not going to hypnotize me again." Serena says.
As the match begins, Ash goes for Leavanny and Serena is using Comfey.
"Get that stupid Bug Type out of here!" Misty yells.
"Excuse me?" Ash and Leavanny both roll their eyes as they are offended. Then they are using Dedenne and Psyduck to battle, only to be defeated easily with Leavanny's Energy Ball and Comfey's Petal Blizzard.
"How dare you!" Misty sends out her Gyarados, and Bonnie goes for Tyrantrum. Ash and Serena decide to switch out as Ash goes for Pikachu while Serena goes for Pangoro.
"When did your Pancham evolve?" Ash asks.
"After I caught an Absol, Pancham evolves if I have a Dark Type Pokemon in my party." Serena says.
Then Misty decides to go for Mega Evolution, and Ash smirks, "Two can play that game." He presses his key stone and Pikachu Mega evolved, which is the smaller version of Gigantamax.
"Use Flamethrower!" Misty yells, not wanting to lose the battle, but Ash says, "Dodge it and use Volt Tackle!"
Pikachu charges at the Gyarados and slams it, causing it to roar in pain. As for Pangoro, it uses Close Combat to knock out Tyrantrum.
"No! Tyrantrum!" Bonnie cries in horror as Ash also finishes Gyarados with Thunderbolt.
"Gyarados and Tyrantrum are unable to battle. Ash and Serena win, and will be advancing to the next round!"
"What no! They cheated! I want a rematch!" Misty yells. Ash rolls his eyes and says, "Excuse me? Are you blaming me for something I didn't do?"
The referee ignores her as he has the guards send Misty away, and Bonnie is chasing after the guards who are dragging Misty.
"Where did you take me?" Goomba asks Ashlie, who brings him to a place filled with messed-up things.
"This is the Wonky Woods, as you can see, this place is messed up." Ashlie says.
"It really is messed up! Who would put the tables randomly in the forest? And is that Professor Oak's statue?" Goomba asks.
"You're right, and those people there are simulations, they are projected by Psychic Pokemon, so they aren't real." Ashlie says. "If you think this place is weird, then you wouldn't want to go to Umira, it is worse than this place."
"Umira? Is that a city's name?" Goomba asks.
"Umira is messed up very badly, considering Isabelle is the gym leader here and she hacked the place like it was some sort of computer game." Ashlie says.
"Okay...I wouldn't want to know. But why are you taking me here?" Goomba asks.
"Ashlie! Good to see you again!" Just then, a weird-looking Espurr comes at them, and Ashlie says, "Halloween Espurr! It's so great to see you again!"
"Halloween Espurr? I know that its color is not right..." Goomba looks at the Pokemon, who glows and now Goomba is an Espurr.
"Hey! What did you do to me?" Goomba yells, and Ashlie says, "Another thing about Isabelle's Holiday Pokemon is that they have the special powers to change your appearances."
"Change me back now!" Goomba yells, and both Ashlie and Halloween Espurr smirk as they start running. "We'll change you back if you can catch the both of us!"
Goomba frowns as he has to play hide and seek as an Espurr, but he has to do it if he wants to change back to himself again.
"Thank you for the donuts, Drew. We would appreciate it." Ash says as he thanks the dentist in front of them.
"You're welcome, Ash, Lillie. They are really hard to purchase considering that Delicia would gobble down every one of them." Drew nods, "Now I have to get back to work, so I'll see you later."
After the dentist leaves, Chloe says, "Why do I feel that people from Ceolis are weird..."
Lillie shrugs, "Don't worry, they are pretty fun to interact with if you know them all."
Serena says, "By the way, how is Ms. Ketchum doing right now?"
Ash says, "You mean my mom? She is at Liliech City helping the Gym Leader with the clothes, we had a famous clothes brand after all."
"It sounds interesting." Serena says. "So what are we going to do next if we don't have any matches tomorrow?"
Ash says, "How about we show you around the Gyms of Ceolis, they are interesting to go."
"Fine by me." Chloe says as they continue to eat their donuts.
I'll end the chapter here, as you can see, Ash and Serena win against Misty and Bonnie as they advance to the next round, and the traitors aren't going to give up annoying Ash and Lillie. On the other hand, Ashlie is having some good time with Goomba, I wonder what will happen next? The next chapter will be introducing the Gyms and exploring the whole Ceolis Region. I hope you like it.
