Chapter 8 Travel Companions and Playmates
After getting back to the castle from the RPA Company, they find a lot of people there waiting for them. Not only there are princes and princesses from the other regions in the United Region, but there are also some people who others don't recognize.
Ash says, "Sorry to make you wait here for us. I mean, we are having a tour of my own company for these newcomers."
"Not at all. We should have known that you weren't always at home." A girl says with an assuring smile.
"But it is good to see you again, and we are excited to hear that you are going to have a wedding." The second girl says.
Ash and Lillie smile as they turn to Gladion, Serena, Gary, Dawn, and the Alola Gang. Ash says, "Let me introduce you all to my friends. I am sure that you have already met Luke, Helen, Reisa, Daniel, and Alice. So let me introduce you to the others. First, we have my cousins, Elline and David." Ash says as he shows the blonde-haired girl and the silver-haired boy.
"This is Eve and Flora, the two of them are Alice's sisters." Lillie says as she shows the two girls besides Alice, unlike Alice herself, the two of them are raven-haired just like Ash.
"And we have East, he is Reisa's brother." Ash says as he shows the turquoise-haired boy, who shows a small greeting.
"There is Nate, he is from Unova as he lives in Aspertia City with his sister Rosa, who unfortunately isn't here yet. And this is Drandon, he is also from Unova, he is a student to Drayden as he lives in the Dragon Village." Ash says as the two boys greet them.
"And finally, we have Tox, he is the son of Professor Berlitz and he is studying as a doctor." Ash says. Dawn is surprised at the mention of the name of the Professor, and she says, "Wait, your father is Professor Berlitz?"
"Why of course." Tox asks, "You know my father?"
"Or rather...he is my father as well..." Dawn says as Tox is surprised, Gladion asks, "Does that mean the two of you are actually siblings?"
"I don't know...I have never met my father ever since I was born..." Dawn says.
Tox looks at her with surprise and says, "May I ask if your mother is Johanna?"
Dawn nods, and he says, "I have never met my mother, I only knew her name is Johanna...maybe you really are my sister."
"But why didn't you live with each other? Is there a problem?" Lillie asks.
"Let's say that our parents divorced when I was 3." Tox sighs, "They had a quarrel and they had never seen each other again. My father is really sad after divorce, but he promises to take good care of me."
"That is the same thing as my mother..." Dawn says with a nod. "Though I wonder if we should have them meet with each other again?"
"I don't know if it is a good idea..." Tox sighs, "But that doesn't mean we can't try."
"By the way, we should come inside since outside is not the best place to talk. Considering we have someone unfriendly here..." Lillie says as they get inside, as they notice the traitors outside the room as they want to listen to their conversation.
The traitors are watching the scene and they are in anger that Ash and Lillie are ignoring them while being friends with people they don't know. Not to mention that they also refuse to let them attend their wedding.
"Just what are we now in their eyes?" Max says. "Ever since he showed himself as Ashlie, he starts to be all mighty."
"Yeah, and how dare they ignore us a lot of times." Misty says. "We are as important as the others there as well!"
"And not to mention they also change Dawn's bank account so we couldn't treat her anymore..." May says as they are fuming.
"What are you guys doing here?" Aurora notices the traitors after coming back with Lusamine. The traitors gasp as they notice them. "You know, it is not polite to insult my son or Lusamine's daughter when we are around. Not only that, you are in our territory and I need to ask you to leave."
"Aurora..." They are in fear as Aurora shakes his head, she says, "I am very ashamed of you guys, your greed is the reason that you won't be able to attend the wedding. You think my son is weak like he pretended to be, but you want to take his Pokemon."
Lusamine says, "And it doesn't make sense since why do you want a weakling's Pokemon? Deep down inside you are just jealous of them as you want his Pokemon, saying how he is weak is just to justify what you want to do."
Aurora shakes her head and says, "As the ruler of this United Region, I could have given you punishments. " This causes them to shake in fear. "But I won't do it since the wedding ball is near and I don't want my anger to control me."
She turns to Brock and Misty, "You should have been lucky that you still have relatives, or else your gym would be taken away. As the Kanto Champion, I have the authority to do so." This causes Brock and Misty to panic.
Aurora says, "Now leave or we'll make you." Despite the tone Aurora is giving, the traitors aren't going to just back away. So Aurora can only sigh as she glows, as the traitors are once again Teleported away.
Lusamine says, "Geez...they sure know how to ruin the party."
"I know." Aurora says. "Let's get back since I am curious about my son and my daughter-in-law's planning."
"Sure." Lusamine says as they walk back into the castle.
Back inside the castle, Eve says, "So you are the Prince of the Ice Region? I have never met you before, but I guess your situation was familiar to Tox and Dawn, right?"
Gladion says, "I didn't know that I am a part of the royalty...I mean, all I knew was my life in the Alola Region."
"If you think about it, Alola and Ice Region are quite opposite." Elline says, "One is extremely cold, while the other is actually a tropical place. But Alola sure is a good place to avoid the cold, as the only cold place is Mt. Lanakila of Ula'ula Island.
"And because of what happened to our father, we haven't been back to the Ice Region for years." Lillie sighs. "I mean, ever since Ash and I fuse into Ashlie, we have been living in this Multitype Region for years until we do our journey to become the World Champion."
Ash nods and says, "Even though Lillie is born from the Ice Region, we both take care of every one of our Pokemon. You have seen them this morning, and let's say our friends don't really use that type of Pokemon even though they are in this region."
Alice says, "I know what Ash means. Even though we are the princesses of the Fairy Region, I actually like to use Ice Type, while Eve uses Dark and Flora uses Grass."
"The type of the region just means the common Pokemon in that area, it doesn't mean that everyone living there should all use that specific type." East says. "Though if we want to get a Starter Pokemon, we will be given that specific type of Starter Pokemon indeed."
Lillie says, "That's indeed true. Each of the regions has its own starter Pokemon, but for the Multitype, the starter Pokemon is Eevee. That's how we got our own Sylveon."
"We do have other Eeveelutions, but that depends on what we want to use." Ash says.
"I see." Gary says.
At the same time, Aurora and Lusamine enter the room, and Ash bows to her. "Mother, how is Samuel Oak doing?"
Aurora says, "We manage to offer him a house and a small ranch for him to stay close to here. In this Multitype Region, those people won't be able to blackmail him to frame anyone after all."
"That is good news." Gary says, "I feel a little bad for Gramps if he suffered worse."
"Same here. He was forced to do such a thing by those people..." Ash sighs. "Now that I think of it...are they still outside of the castle?"
"They are really acting like Team Rocket..." Lillie frowns, "I just hope they weren't there."
"Don't worry, we manage to teleport them away, I'm sure they won't be bothering us for a short amount of time." Aurora and Lusamine walk into the room. The others quickly bow at the queens since it is proper manners.
"No need to be too formal." Lusamine says. "And I'm sure that Gladion knows every one of you, right?"
Gladion asks, "Even though we did, I want to know why you didn't let me see what the Ice Kingdom is like? Is Dad's death really the reason?"
Lusamine frowns and says, "Ever since your father was killed, the Ice Region has been a mess. We have suffered the attack from the Dark Region..."
The others frown a little as they know what is going on, Serena asks, "Wait, you guys live in this place known as the United Region, yet you still have to suffer from the war?"
Ash says, "To tell the truth, the former king of the Dark Type region is no better than Giovanni or Lysandre. He has been declaring war against the other regions for a while because he believes that the United Region should be united as one."
Golly says, "I still remember the look of greed in his eyes when he wants our mother's throne. It is a good thing that all the other regions work together to defeat their own Dark Army. And we also have spies in the kingdom as well."
"Spies? Is this some sort of movie?" Gary asks.
Reisa says, "Of course not. The queen and the prince of the Dark Type Region have been giving us a lot of their information, which is why we can defeat the army and decapitate all the terrorists, including the king."
"Wow..." The others are surprised to learn the history in the United Region. Ash says, "Anyway, the reason we are calling you guys here is because of Lillie and my wedding. Since this wedding is going to be magnificent, we will need to be prepared."
"That's right." Lillie says, "The Champions, important figures, and a lot of people will come to our wedding, and we don't want it to be ruined. So we need to prepare."
The others nod as they start to chat, Aurora and Lusamine are smiling at how the new ones, Dawn, Serena, Gary, and the Alola group, are joining in the conversation as well. Aurora says, "Looks like our children have grown a lot..."
"I agree. Not only as Ashlie, but as themselves as well." Lusamine says. "Ash can surely be a capable king in the future."
"Of course, with Lillie as his true queen." Aurora says with a smile.
Here is a chapter, and I think I have mentioned a lot of things in the story, first is about my original OCs and their relation, not all of them are actually princes and princesses, though. And they have mentioned war with the Dark Region, the full story will be revealed once they get to the Dark Region. I hope you like this chapter, and the next chapter will be the wedding of Ash and Lillie.
