Yellow Chapter 12
"Green? Bill? What are you doing here?" Ash asks in surprise at the appearance of the two familiar people, and they are using Jigglypuff as means to travel just like before.
Bill greets them and says, "Hey guys, it sure has been a while."
"Yeah, we heard that you might be having some trouble, plus..." Green says as she looks at the island in front of them, "It's an excuse for a vacation to the headquarters island of the Elite Four."
"We came ashore just now, and we decided to hide until it is dark." Alice says. Delia says, "So you must be Green, I heard about you from Ash and Yellow."
"Um.." She remembers that she has escaped back when she met Ash, Alice, and Red in Saffron City, so they haven't met before. "It is nice to meet you. I have heard of you before. I can tell where Ash and Yellow planned their strategy from."
She then puts on her jacket, and Alice asks, "Feeling cold already?"
"I think it is necessary if we met that ice leader." Green says as Alice sighs, remembering what Lorelei tried to do.
Bill whispers to Ash and says, "Are you sure we should trust this Green here?"
"She was the one that gave us the information of Red being missing." Ash says. "And do you remember? She was the one that saved us from Lorelei back then."
Yellow turns to Bill and says, "But Bill, why are you with Green?"
"Well, she just sorta dropped in on me, and the next thing I knew..." Before he can finish, Green pulls him by the collar and says, "We don't have time to waste! Let's go."
They decide to use their helicopter and Green's Horsea to disguise themselves as clouds, and they are watching down below. A lot of Slowbro are on guard as they are looking for them.
"So that's why it's so cold...it's a good thing we are flying quietly..." Delia says.
"So where are we going? Yellow? I think you have the map, right?" Green asks.
"I don't know how to read it...I think it may be this way?" Yellow says as she tries to look at the map, but she isn't careful enough as the map falls to the ground.
"Oh no..." Ash says in horror as a Slowbro picks up the map and looks with confusion.
"Please throw it away..." The group is thinking nervously, and the Slowbro just eats the map like it is some sort of food.
"What're we going to do now?" Alice asks in horror.
"Look." Ash points at the Slowbro, who is turning around and leave. "Perhaps it will tell what's happened to its trainer?"
Green says, "If that's the case, I have an idea. We'll wait here until the Slowbro is out of sight. When we have enough distance, we'll follow."
"Are you crazy? How do we follow what we can't see?" Bill asks, and they see that Green drops the Horsea into the Shellder of Slowbro.
Alice nods and says, "I see. We can follow the trail of ink."
Delia says, "This is quite risky, and we should hurry. Even as we speak, the cities of Cerulean, Pewter, and Celadon are sustaining a continued attack."
Meanwhile, Erika is fighting off Ice-type Pokémon from Lorelei's army in Celadon City. In Cerulean and Pewter Cities Misty and Brock are fighting against the Ghost-type and Fighting-type Pokémon from Agatha's and Bruno's armies, as yet another, larger, army flies to Kanto.
Back on Cerise Island, the Slowbro and Horsea go inside the island. Ash says, "We should be coming to the other side of the island soon."
"That's gotta be it." Alice says as they notice a cave. Bill asks, "Did Horse go inside? We can't risk just dashing in after...we've got to learn some more about it."
Just then, Green's Pokeball is shaking, and she takes it out, revealing it to be Clefable.
"It has extremely sensitive hearing. It must have heard something." Green says. Yellow decides to use her Aura to sense it, and she says, "I can hear voices...people talking...the Clefable's expression...it is surprised, but not afraid..."
Ash says, "I think it is someone we know?"
"Someone we know...someone Clefable isn't afraid of.., could it be one of our allies?" Alice asks.
"We should go find out." Delia says as they leave the helicopter and go into the cave. Green thinks, "Whoever it is, we can use 'em! With the good Gym Leaders stuck defending their cities, we're short on strength."
But as they reach further into the cave, they are surprised to see what they are seeing, Lt. Surge, Koga, Sabrina, Blue, and Blaine are there.
"Aunt Sabrina? Lt. Surge, and Koga?" Ash exclaims in shock, it has been two months since they met and battled in Silph Co.
"Not only that, Blue and Blaine are with them as well..." Alice says, they aren't expecting that the two of them will be standing with the Rocket members, but then again, Blaine was formerly a Rocket member as well.
Blaine greets them and says, "We're glad to see you here safely, and I see that Delia is also here. But who are those two?"
Ash knows that Blaine is referring to Green and Bill, so he says, "These are Green and Bill. They are here to help us out."
Sabrina looks at Delia and gives her a smirk, she says, "I never thought you would come here as well, Delia."
"I should have said the same thing to you as well." Delia says, also in the same smirk. "You do know that I'm the head of the International Police, and you three are Team Rocket members. It will be perfect to arrest you on the spot. But jokes aside, what are you doing here?"
Koga says, "You want to know why we are here? Simple. We want to defeat the Elite Four too. And that's all."
"You three? Defeating the Elite Four?" Ash asks, still in confusion.
Lt. Surge says, "I suppose we should let you in on it. You fools actually thought you had eliminated Team Rocket, didn't you? Heh..."
Sabrina says, "Just before the Silph Company building collapsed, we all slipped out and have been rebuilding, waiting for our next chance."
Koga says, "But then the mainland comes under attack, people are being slaughtered. We can't have that in an area we're supposed to control."
"So?" Alice asks, and Pikachu is still sparking his cheeks while Eevee is also glaring at them.
"You did come here to defeat the Elite Four too, I trust?" Sabrina takes her hand to them. "If you promise not to get in our way, then just this once, we'll deign to work with you."
Yellow asks, "Working with you?"
"The "Enemy of my enemy" is my friend, eh?" Lt Surge says.
Blaine thinks, "I've got to admit...their ethics may not be much, but their combat skills are pretty impressive. If we can work with them, we'll be a powerful team. But of course, if it's a trick..."
Delia says, " "Deign" to work with us, huh? That's what we should be saying."
"Is it now?" Koga asks.
Blue says, "I came here for one reason. To nail this Agatha of the Elite Four with her grudge against my grandfather. That's it. If you give your word not to stand in the way of that, then I don't care What you do."
Ash says, "And as the new Champion of the Kanto Region, I say that we'll settle the score some day after this is over."
"Heh, so it's settled then." Sabrina says as her Alakazam takes out a lot of spoons, and each of them floats into their hands.
"What's this?" Delia asks.
"Interesting, Sabrina...the "Spoons of Destiny." With the mainland under attack, you might have assumed Cerise was lightly defended. In fact, none of the Elite four have moved from the island." Lt. Surge says.
"I knew it..." Ash says. "So since there are 11 of us, we will take them on in groups of three. Is that what you mean?"
"But what about the one group that only has two people?" Alice asks.
"It won't matter." Sabrina says, "Now that you hold the spoon, focus your will to fight. Alakazam will sense your thoughts and pair you up according to the spoons of destiny!"
After Alakazam does his trick, Ash, Yellow, and Blaine are in one group, Alice, Green, and Sabrina are in the second group, Koga, Delia, and Blue are in the third group, and finally, Bill and Lt. Surge are in the last group.
"How amusing, we've been given our foe from the Silph Company battle..." Koga says.
"Hold on? Why should be me that is in the two people group?" Bill protests. But Sabrina says, "You doesn't have a will to fight, huh?"
Lt. Surge says, "If the pattern holds, I suppose my partner should be Red, but since he isn't available...We're left with each other, come on!"
"Hey! Put me down!" Lt. Surge picks Bill in his hand, and then he takes Bill away.
Koga says, "Now...according to our reconnaissance, this cave continues deep into the heart of the island like a maze. The four groups will split up here and look for the headquarters separately."
Blue doesn't say anything and he leaves with Delia and Koga, Yellow says, "It seems like Blue is determined."
"Indeed, are you determined as well, Yellow?" Ash asks.
"You bet, Brother." Yellow nods and so does Pika.
After splitting up, Ash says, "If the pattern goes...I think Alice's group will be facing Lorelei, Mother's group will be facing Agatha. If Red manages to recover and come to help us, then he will be helping Lt. Surge and Bill to save Burno from control, and we have to face the leader of the Elite Four...Lance..."
On the other side, Delia, Blue, and Koga are walking on the path, and Delia says, "So you two have some history?"
"Heh heh." Koga says, "How long since we fought? Blue? Two months? You had a nasty look in your eyes even then...but nothing compared to now!"
Blue sighs and he doesn't say anything, Delia says, "Though, surprisingly, I will be paired with you two as well. I still believe that a ninja-like you would be helping my brother with the mess he's making."
"And I won't believe that being the boss' sister, you're goal is opposite of the boss as well." Koga says with a nod. "I guess we are even."
Blue stops on his tracks and says, "Koga, while we still can, let me return something to you."
Then he takes out a Pokeball and throws it into the air, sending out the Golbat and Koga catches the Pokeball.
"Hahaha! I appreciate it." Koga says as he takes the Golbat.
"A Golbat?" Delia asks, "I remember that your Golbat has special powers that can project the images from its mouth, huh?"
"It seems being the head, you have researched a lot about us." Koga says. "That's because it's Supersonic."
He turns to Golbat and asks, "Now Golbat, tell me...where is our enemy?"
Behind them, a pair of eyes are glaring at them as it is about to strike at them.
Here is the new chapter, and Ash and the group meet up with the Gym Leaders who are also Rocket members, and they are splitting into four groups to fight the Elite Four. I hope you like this chapter and we'll be starting with the Agatha Group.
