Yellow Chapter 13
Blue and Delia are watching Koga using Golbat to find their enemy, Elite Four, and Koga notices a pair of eyes glaring at them as he says, "Over there!"
Koga throws a shuriken, which misses the target, but they see an Arbok appear from the shadows, and Blue mutters, "Arbok...so our enemy really is Agatha..."
Delia says, "Indeed...Agatha is the second strongest Elite Four member. I guess we should join in the battle."
But before Delia and Blue can send out their Pokemon, Koga stops them and he says, "Wait. For now, my Pokemon is all set."
The shuriken turns out to be a Pokeball, and an Arbok appears. Delia says, "So it's Arbok versus Arbok..."
Just then, they hear Agatha's voice from the shadows, "Feh feh feh! "Leer" at them all, Arbok!"
Koga laughs, "Alright. Hiding while commanding. And then hitting us with your Leer attack to weaken us. Use Haze!"
Koga has Golbat uses the Ice Type move, causing the Leer to get negated. Delia says, "Good strategy. Using the attack "Haze" to negate the effects of "Leer"."
"Now bring it on! Will you reveal yourself or just continue to hide?" Koga says.
Hiding in the corner, Agatha doesn't seem to be fazed by the taunting. She says, "It's nice of you to keep talking so loudly. The noise makes it easy to find you. The plans of the Elite Four would take more than 10 years for you to fully comprehend, don't you think?"
At the same time, Blue and Delia are looking for trails of Agatha, and much to their shock, Agatha says, "Feel the fury of my attack! Use Rock Slide!"
The rocks are starting to rain at them, and Agatha says, "I forgot to mention, normally, Rock Slide brings huge rocks raining down. Good for that we happen to be in a cave!"
Delia looks up and notices the structure of the cave, she says, "We're in a stalactite cave..."
After that, Koga and Delia are forced to separate from Blue and her Golbat. Blue also gets hit by Gengar's Lick, which paralyzes Blue.
"Do you realize what Lick does? Feh Feh Feh, Blue. I already told you! Trying to protect others only hurts you in the end. Whatever it touches become paralyzed."
Delia says, "Gengar, I need your help as well." Delia sends out her own Gengar as she tries to block the Rock Slide from hurting both sides, but the attack separates them as the stalactites create a giant wall.
"Blue! Are you alright?" Delia yells, but Blue is nowhere in sight. Koga says, "Damn. Blue is out of our visibility range...but I guess that must have been the plan...to separate us..."
At the same time, Blue can't open his eyes, and he says, "I had just given you back to Koga, and you're already back with me! Good, Golbat. Now, I'm unable to see. You'll have to use your Supersonic to get us through this."
As Golbat is trying to use Supersonic, they find another soundwave as another Golbat appears as it tries to attack them.
As for Agatha, he appears with Arbok and Weezing while standing in front of Delia and Koga. "So I'd like to know...how you're feeling today, Fuchsia Gym Leader, Koga, and for you as well, Delia."
Delia says, "I would never think that I would meet you under these circumstances, Agatha, after all, before I retired, I was the one who kicked the four of you."
"That's is in the past. Although the Pokemon skills held between a Gym Leader, an Elite Four member, and a former Champion are no comparison. We both tend to deal with Poison Pokemon.
Just then, Agatha uses a mist to change the pattern of Arbok's skin. And Koga gasps, "The pattern on the Arbok's skin changed!"
"That's right. It is said that the patterns on Arbok's skin come from different kinds of powers. Did you know that? I hope you know that there is more than just one kind of marking."
Delia says, "Koga, you deal with Arbok, I'll deal with Weezing." Then he has Gengar goes for Shadow Punch, which hits Weezing. Agatha continues to explain to Koga and she says, "And this pattern of Arbok gives out the speed boost."
After dealing some damage to Arbok and Gengar, Agatha continues to change its pattern and now it is Attack boost, and Koga is being trapped by Arbok, much to Delia's surprise.
"Hang in there, Koga." Delia says as Gengar goes for Night Shade on Weezing, and Koga notices the pattern of Arbok and he says, "I think I found a way to defeat the patterns..."
Agatha says, "So your Arbok is fighting against my Arbok, and my Golbat is fighting your Golbat. Though I would want to use Gengar on your Gengar, Delia. But I have to put Gengar last."
"What do you want this time?" Delia asks while raising her eyebrow.
"I want to show that this is the difference in our abilities." Agatha says.
Koga wants to have Arbok use Glare, but Agatha's Arbok uses Body Slam and then Bite, causing the tail to be bitten off.
"Well, looks as if your snake is now crippled." Agatha says.
Koga sends out Muk and Delia goes for Weezing, trying to use Poison Gas and Smog to attack. Agatha says, "Poison Gas and Smog, are you trying to infect me with your poison? We'll repel the poison with an Invulnerability pattern!"
After Arbok shrugs off the attack, it attacks Muk and Weezing at the same time, knocking them to the ground.
At the same time, Blue is still fighting with Golbat using Koga's Golbat, and he thinks, "I won't last like this. I have to regain my eye-sight, and I must do it fast."
Golbat is continuing to struggle against Agatha's, and Blue thinks, "Koga is a Poison and Paralysis expert. If I could get in contact with Koga and Delia, I might be able to..."
Back with Delia and Koga, Delia looks around and says, "The damage to Blue's eyes must be bad...I still don't see him anywhere. I guess Golbat is being difficult to work with.
Delia says, "Koga, I have an idea, use your shurikens."
Koga nods as he throws the shurikens, but it misses Agatha. "Hey, hey. That went way off course."
After throwing some more, it all misses and Agatha sighs, "This all seems very pointless, so just surrender."
"I swear that we'll defeat you first." Delia says.
Just then, Arbok's tail manages to grow back from its body, and Agatha says, "A new tail grew from the old one..."
"Hahaha...this is it. Your Arbok has patterns, but my Arbok can do something other than that! As long as it has its head, it can regenerate any body part!" Koga says.
Delia says, "I remember a few months ago, Blue's Charmander managed to slice from the much worse condition, but now..."
"How nice of you. You gained yourself an additional few minutes. Until my Arbok finds the pattern that will destroy you anyway! And then, Blue will already be dead, now, won't he? You'll be all alone."
Just then, a Golbat flies back, and Agatha says, "Now look here. Blue must be dead if my Golbat has returned with the wings of victory."
"Are you sure that is yours?" Delia asks, and Agatha is surprised to see that the Golbat is Koga's. Blue also comes with his Golduck as his eyes are open wide.
"How can this be? Your eyes are open?" Agatha exclaims in shock.
"Koga, Delia. Nice work. Your tools were very helpful. And thank you will have to wait later." Blue says.
"So those shurikens were..." Agatha gasps as she realizes that Koga misses the shurikens on purpose.
"Hollow. And inside there was a Pokemon with a Paralyze Heal. Good thing that Delia has prepared a lot of them so that we can just hope one of them would reach Blue in time to save him." Koga says, "And now, to continue with my pointless attack."
Koga has Golbat use Leech Life, but it is biting his trainer's arm, much to everyone's shock. And then Golbat uses Koga's blood to shoot it on Arbok's body, causing the pattern to be covered.
"No way..." Agatha says.
"That way, Arbok won't be able to change its pattern..." Delia says.
"Smart, but sadly, it is already too late for you! Arbok! Bind them!" Agatha says, but Delia sighs, "Do you forget something?"
Delia's Gengar appears and it uses Psychic, which slams Arbok back to Agatha as they fall to the ground. Koga also kneels and Blue asks, "Koga, are you alright?"
"Don't worry, this was the only way we could stop that Arbok...It feels good to be willing to die for a battle. We never could have won it though. Not without you two."
Delia looks at Arbok and notices the Poison Sting on the tail. "If I have to think, Agatha was trying to use her Pokemon as a diversion and was planning to attack from behind this whole time."
Blue says, "No matter how much you know about Poison, you would have been done with that. That settles our score."
Delia looks at the unconscious body of Agatha besides her Arbok, she wonders, "But her signature Pokemon should have been Gengar, why didn't she use it? I mean...she is a Ghost Type specialist...but all we battled were her Poison Type Pokemon...I feel like this is not the end of the battle just yet..."
Koga notices Blue's expression and says, "You don't look too happy."
"I had a grudge against Agatha. I told you not to stand in my way." Blue mutters.
"Haha...I guess you are just the same old grumpy...kid." Koga says as they move deeper to the cave, and Blue replies, "Forget it and shut up."
At the same time, Alice, Green, and Sabrina are walking. Green says, "Alice, how about you also wear this jacket? it will suit you."
Alice looks at Green with confusion. "I mean, I like Ice Type Pokemon, why should I need to wear this?"
"You'll know why. I'm sure it will suit you." Alice sighs as she can only wear the jacket. And Sabrina says, "You two make good friends, huh?"
"So what if we are? This is a battle, and it will be better if we do some protection first." Alice says.
Just then, in front of them, they are surprised to see a Marsh Badge floating on top of the pedestal. "That is...a trainer badge?" Sabrina asks in shock.
"But why in this place?" Green asks in wonder.
"You don't need to know that!" Just then, they hear a voice, and then suddenly, Green's hands are tied with Sabrina with the hand, and the same goes with Sabrina's other hand with Alice.
"What is this?" Alice says as she tries to take out Arcanine, it tries to melt the ice, but it won't work/ "What? It won't come off?" Alice gasps in shock.
Just then, a Cloyster appears in front of them, and when it opens its shell, Lorelei appears and says, "What do we have here? We have a nice find."
And I'll stop here for now, as you can see, Delia, Blue, and Koga seemingly defeat Agatha in their own battle, but Koga is weak because of the loss of blood for the Arbok. And right now Alice, Green, and Sabrina are bound with each other by Lorelei's ice, and not even Arcanine can melt it. What will they do? I hope you like this chapter.
