Dropping Out of School
In the Kalos Region, a white-haired girl wakes up after the sun shines from the window. As she sits up, she frowns, "Another new day, another bad day..."
She then changes her aqua blue pajamas into her school uniform, knowing that today is Monday and it means that they are going to school. After dressing up, she takes the locket and wears it on her neck. Then she comes downstairs, finding her sisters are playing their Rotom Phones while waiting for her.
"Good morning Alice." The eldest girl says.
"Good morning to you, Sister Flora, sister Eve." Alice mutters. "Though it won't be a good morning after we go to school."
Eve sighs, "Alice, it is not good if you continue to think the worst. There might be a day where things are turning for the better."
Alice glares at her and says, "And why do you think it is the case? You said that every day, and I have to endure all of that every day. Maybe we should change classes so I'll see how you do."
Eve says, "No way. I don't want to dye my hair into white so that I can take those bullyings."
"Good morning, girls." Just then, a woman comes into the room while putting a plate of waffles on the table. The woman is no other than Valerie, the gym leader of Laverre City. Valerie says, "You see, there is something that I have to tell you."
"What will that be?" Flora asks with confusion while trying to eat the pancakes made by their mother.
"Yesterday, when the three of you are exploring Pokemon Village, your teachers have come to our house. And they have told us about how you guys did in school." Valerie says as the three girls are gulping.
Eve says, "What did they say? Are we going to get punished?"
Valerie says with a stern tone, "Of course not. But I want you three to be honest with me, since this is the first time I have heard the news. Is it true that the three of you suffer from bullying from school?"
The three of them flinch as they didn't tell their parents about the bullying, because they know how hard their parents are earning money to give them tuition. "Well...we..." Flora says.
Alice can't hold back with tears and she says, "It's true. We did suffer from bullying from school."
"Alice? What are you?" Eve asks, but Flora says, "No, Eve. We can't hide this from mom anymore."
Valerie notices how Alice is crying, and she hugs her, "So it is all true?"
Flora says, "I got relational bullying. A lot of people don't want to get near me, they say how I am ugly and how I don't deserve to be friends with them...they also intend to ignore me whenever I want to ask for help or even doing school work."
She turns to Eve, she says, "Eve got verbal bullying, she has been threatened by a lot of her classmates because of her intelligence. She was forced to cheat for them or else they make sure that her life is miserable. Not only that, those bullies force Eve to admit that she is the one that is cheating so that they can get away with it."
As she walks towards Alice, she says, "As for Alice, she is the worst of all of us." She takes unbuttons her shirt, revealing the scars on her back, causing Valerie to gasp in shock. Alice is the bravest compared to us, she knows how to refuse those bullies, that's why she gets those scars..."
"Why didn't you tell me or Wulfric about everything?" Valerie asks while she is trembling.
Eve also bursts out and says, "Because we heard how you and Dad kept talking about the money for tuition. You worked so hard for us to learn from school, we didn't want you to think that everything is not worth it...so we had to endure all of that."
Valerie is now shocked, as she knows how Eve refuses to cry in front of everyone, and now she is doing it. She hugs the three of them and she says, "I am sorry. I shouldn't have talked about the tuition in front of you girls..."
After the three of them are calming down, Valerie says, "The reason why your teachers come here, is because that they want the three of you to quit school."
"Quit School?" The three of them are now widening their eyes in horror. Valerie says, "It is not because you did something wrong, but because that the school is will give you more harm than good if you continue to stay there. They are also going to file a lawsuit at the bullies' parents for the abuse so that the school might be about to close off as well."
"But if we dropped out of school...what about our academic backgrounds? I want to be a Professor and they might want to see how I do in school!" Eve says.
"That sure is a problem. Your father and I have been thinking of this question as well. Since we want you all to achieve your dreams, Flora wants to be a fashion designer, so she can work with me. But Eve might be a problem."
"Does that mean I need to change my dream? I really want to be a Professor..." Eve mutters.
As for Alice, she is also frowning, Eve and Flora have their own dreams to achieve, but for her, she doesn't know what her dream is. She can sing so well, and she also shows talent in medics, she is now confused more than ever.
After changing their uniforms into their own causal clothes, the girls are not happy. Eve says, "If I can't be a Professor...what should I do?"
Flora says, "Maybe you can try participating in the Leagues so that you might become a gym leader just like our parents?"
"Flora, there is no way that the League will just set up a Dark Type Gym. Dark Type Specialists are only for Elite 4 because they don't trust them to have their own gyms. Just look at Karen, Grimsly, Sidney...and even that Officer Nanu is a Kahuna, which is similar to the Elite 4." Eve says.
Alice is also thinking of being a gym leader. Maybe she could become her father's successor, having the Snowbelle Gym for her own. Her thoughts are interrupted as they see the news on the screen.
"Recently, the Champion of Alola has been attacked in the Kanto Region along with Professor Oak and his assistant in his lab. We could see that some of the Pokemon are killed in cold blood, and most of the Pokemon that are killed belong to the Champion of Alola."
As they show Ash's picture, Alice gasps as she recognizes the locket on his neck, "Ash..."
She is happy that the boy that she loves all those years ago, has now become the new and first champion of Alola, but she is surprised to hear how his Pokemon have been either stolen or killed.
Eve says, "Isn't he also the one who saved the whole Kalos Region from Team Flare along with Mom and Dad? The one with the special Greninja who can change into a form, not even Professor Sycamore knows what it is."
Flora says, "But why would they try to do that to Ash? Not to mention one of the suspects is actually the Gym Leader of Lumiose City!"
Alice is just staring into the news, she doesn't care about how the others think, she just wants Ash to be safe and sound. She starts to remember the past.
(Flashback)
A younger Alice is wandering around in the forest alone and she yells, "Mother! Father! Eve! Flora! Where are you?" But there is no reply, and it causes her to cry. Not only that, the snowing only makes it worse.
Alice starts to shiver in the middle of the snow and then she starts to sing. "The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation
And it looks like I'm the queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I've tried."
It is her favorite song from the famous movie, and she starts to walk around in the snow.
"Don't let them in, don't let them see

Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know
Well, now they know"
Alice takes off her gloves and throws them into the air, then she starts to mimic the scene in the movie.

Can't hold it back anymore

Turn away and slam the door
I don't care what they're going to say

She starts dancing and jumping around the forest. "It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all

Just then, her hands are glowing as she starts to create an ice castle out of thin air, she didn't realize the fact as she thinks that she is in the dream.
"My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back, the past is in the past

After singing, she gets back to the scene and she not only wears a different kind of clothes, she also finds that she is inside a castle.
"What? How?" Alice is shocked as she looks at her hands, and then the castle is also gone, her clothes also return to normal with the gloves on her feet. "How did I do that?"
"You have aura." She turns around and notices a boy her same age. He says, "To be able to manipulate the Ice Aura to create the castle and your new outfit, you truly are a great aura user."
"Who are you, and what is an aura user?" Alice asks with fear.
"I am sorry. I am Ash, Ash Ketchum. And like you, I am also an aura user." Ash says as he raises his hand, then he creates a small fire to warm her up.
Ash says, "You see, I came from Kanto and my family was here for a vacation. But because I want to see more Pokemon, I kinda get lost and separated from my family."
"Hey, that is just what happened to me as well." Alice gasps as she starts to giggle. "It seems like we are in common."
"Yeah...hey, how about we try to find our way out?" Ash asks as he stretches out his hand, Alice looks at the hand with a little blush and she holds it. Then Alice asks, "But how are we going to get out here? This Route 20 is a maze and there are a lot of Pokemon using illusions here."
"I don't know, but that isn't going to stop me. If I want to achieve something, don't give up until it is over." Ash smiles as he takes out the locket and ties it around Alice's neck. "Here, it is a lucky charm, and it looks good on you."
Alice looks at the locket, it is very beautiful in her eyes, and she notices that Ash has one around his neck as well. "Now that we are blessed by the lucky goddess, we can find our way out."
"Um." Alice says with a small smile as they finally reach out of the forest. And since then they have been friends, but the happy times didn't last forever as Ash's family is heading back to Kanto. The two of them promise to keep the locket so that they will remember each other again.
(Flashback ends)
"Ash...I just hope we can meet again, and maybe you can help me..." Alice mutters as they continue to watch the news.
